Since it was Halloween, it was inevitable that there would be kids running around dressed in costume; and Izumi wanted in on the fun. She’d also received word from Kouji that there was this weird cauldron bubbling and if one were to call out the classic Halloween greetings whenever one raided people’s homes, who knew what would happen? She then cracked a grin, before making her way over to where the weird cauldron was located.
She then let a black-haired young girl finish her turn up before stepping up to the plate; and since she already knew what to do, all she needed was to follow through with the entire thing!
Well, I wonder if Bunji did this before, when he was still around. What if I suddenly see his wandering spirit around here… well, that would be scary, she thought to herself, shaking her mind and crossing her left hand’s fingers, hoping for the best. “Here goes… Trick or Treat!” she called out, before sticking her hand right into the bubbling pot. What would happen next? Would she get a treat, or would she get the nastiest trick of her entire life…?

Well, so there was this thing again. Lucas was pretty sure he still had some of whatever candy he had picked out of this thing the year previous. Somehow, there just seemed to be a lack of appeal when it came to mysterious, anonymous, nonspecific Halloween treats coming out of a bubbling cauldron. The only reason he was going along with this was tradition and the off-chance that something one of his Pokemon liked were among the rewards.
Because he was definitely not eating anything or handing the candy off to Jerry. Not after that fiasco with the orange-and-yellowed wrapped candy that had had him on his wits end for over a week.
But yes, anyway, Halloween "fun." Staring down at the cauldron for a moment and unable to discern anything within its depths, Lucas sighed, looked up toward the sky, and reached in.

She was practically skipping up to the witches brew. This was how Halloween should be. A mish mashed crowd of cute costumes and non participators, where there were lit pumpkins and Halloween decorations scattered about and where candy apples were readily available to the masses. The admission was free and she didn't feel like peeing her pants. It was a perfect Halloween. She glanced to the side to see where Engi had wandered off too as she rubbed her nose watching the crowd eventually make their way up to the cauldron dipping their hand in and coming up with prizes. ...'I wants its.' The inner child of her hissed in squealing joy as she bounced on her toes waiting in the thinning line for her chance. She looked up to the sign behind it plastered with directions and then down into the fog and mist filled pot with color changing lights. Where were the prizes? Was this how Hammer space worked? She glanced back up at the sign oh! Oh right. "Trick or Treat!" she chimed and bit her lower lip delving her hand down into the pot and pulling out her prize for the night.

I PUT A SPELL ON YOU
AND NOW YOU'RE GONE, GONE, GONE, SO LONG
Nothing wrong with a little Halloween fun, but she just wished Emile was here to share in the festivities. Maybe she would sneak back around later and grab him some extra candy. Oh, and maybe a little for Stell, too. They were due for another meet up at some point.
Dressed in a little last-minute but well put together witch's costume, Etta swept up the the platform with a smirk. The cauldron was a nice effect. She had heard about it last year - and the various candy shenanigans that had her interested but justifiable cautious - but had been too far out of town to make it back to really see what all the fuss was about. Better late than never.
"Alright, let's see whatcha got," she said, plunging her hand in without further ado. "Trick or treat~"

This was it. Halloween was just her thing, ok? What other time of year was she free and clear to pull out all the stops on a highly elaborate Ellen Ripley costume complete with flamethrower and little movement-detection thing? No other time. Well, that probably wouldn't stop her, honestly, but no one at the office would really appreciate it. She even had a facehugger plush in her treat bag. Which she would probably have to throw at Ace at some point. But these, the people here, these were her people.
Fresh off watching Alien and Aliens, Eileen was in full spirits, comfortable in the crowd of costumed partiers as she made her way to the cauldron. She wasn't sure what she was going to get, but she would be doing extensive internet research on the candy if it didn't look familiar, so she wasn't too worried.
Hopping up to the cauldron, she chirped, "Trick or treat," and dipped her hand in.
That was new. And it was shiny. New and shiny caught her eyes. Leona looked over the large cauldron with wide eyes, circling it like a curious child before she came to a stop. Ron stood below it, jumping up slightly to try and get a better look. She glanced down at the Aron and patted his head with a smile. "Sorry, Ron, but I can't lift you. Otherwise I'd let you see." Leona said, getting a disappointed groan from the Aron.
Supposedly, they were supposed to say trick or treat to the thing and then it'd spit out candy or something. Hopefully candy, tricks weren't that fun. Well, it depended on the trick. If it was heart attack inducing then that's a instant nope, but she Leona somewhat hoped that it just spat out like a gold nugget or something.

Even though Halloween wasn't really his thing, Brook stared at the cauldron curiously. It was a fun holiday, mostly for younger kids and some teenager, there was no doubt about that. But at his age, Brook didn't see the appeal in it anymore. Sure, the League had hosted a Halloween party and invited everyone to come, but he had passed once again this year. There was something about the cauldron though that Brook was intrigued by. However, the fact he had to place his in hand there made him a bit weary. Especially since it was bubbling. But no person in their right mind would put anything toxic or harmful in a cauldron people were sticking their hands in... right? After a few more moments of debating, he hesitantly moved forward and stick his hand in. The feeling was odd, it was almost like he was sticking his hand in water but something was tingling.

Candy, costumes, apple cider. Halloween was Ace's favorite holiday by far. Sure, every holiday had their candy, but Halloween was when you got free candy from trick or treating. And then all the candy bags were on sale the next day, which made everything better. Most of Ace's Pokemon loved it too, especially Ziggy and Max. He had to buy a bag of candy for each of them, or they'd fight over who got what. His other Pokemon didn't seem to mind though and enjoyed sharing their pieces. However, this year, he ended up with no costume. At least Ziggy was wearing a little witch's hat... that was a size too big for her. The hat kept falling over her face and she struggled to keep it above her eyes.
The two of them stared into the cauldron with curious eyes, both of them staring at their swirled reflection in the water. Slowly, Ace stuck his hand in. "Trick or treat!"

Halloween was Danny's favorite holiday for multiple reasons. Mostly the candy. However, even though Amber did like the holiday, it wasn't her favorite. The candy was okay, dressing up was fun, and it was her favorite time of year weather wise. Maybe she was just starting to feel a little old for it. Despite that, she stared at the cauldron and circled it for a few rounds before pausing. It wasn't the weirdest thing she had seen before, but it was out of the ordinary. She assumed that something was gong to pop out and scare her once she actually stuck her hand in, so Amber took a moment to mentally prepare herself for the possible jump scare. After a few deep breaths, she stuck her hand in the cauldron. Her face turned slightly to the side as her hand slipped in. "Trick or treat..?"

"Sooooooo...this is supposed to be the whole trick or treat thing going on?"
Yumi stood infront of a deep black cauldron that had been in the town square. People had heard that if you stick your hand in you could get a nice, or a terrible surprise. Grim, Yumi's Dusknoir, hovered beside her, investigating the cauldron and wondering how it could seemingly make these surprises appear at random. Whatever whitchcraft caused it, it was not something he could fathom, even with his knowledge of the afterlife. His hands even stuck inside, but without the ability to say "trick or treat", it seemed he was unable to replicate the process to see what results he could get. Hence he had brought his read headed trainer out of the part their apartment building was having. She was fittingly dressed as a witch.
"So I just stick my hand in, say trick or treat, then we're done and i can get back to the part?" The Dusknoir gave a solemn nod. "Here goes." She leaned over into the cauldron, sticking her hand in as far as it would go before saying the magic words. "Trick or treat!"
Halloween was one of the few days in all of the year where people didn't look at him weird. It was normal for him to be wearing a breastplate of armor, all in gold, walking in town and going merrily in his way. However, it was also often that he got weird looks because of it - while he often paid no mind to them, it certainly felt good knowing that people weren't going to judge him on his appearance, on this one day. He was going to a Halloween party later, though, and for that a special costume was in order.
The Golden Knight couldn't be more excited.
Approaching the cauldron once again, in his yearly tradition, he took off his gauntlets so he would be able to put his hands in there. On his right, Boo, the Gengar, snickered as he hovered above - it was often the case that Ghost-Types had tried to figure out the magic of the cauldron, but Boo had given up on that quest ages ago. Now, he just watched on, like the rest.
The Fossil Professor wasn't one for holidays, but even he had to admit, Halloween was pretty high on his list.
One would think that a scientist like him, so sure of the certainty of his craft, wouldn't put much value in concepts like Halloween or other holidays. And to a certain sense, this was true - he was very close to his sciences, normally thinking about paleontological applications in every day situations. He was a man of science, and thus was very certain about things like concrete evidence and necessary proof.
Which was why he was a believer of magic and such. The proof was there - undeniable, before all their eyes. Pokemon like Dusknoir, Mismaigus, and so on demonstrated powers beyond the explanation of science every day. The mere existence of the Ghost-Type proved the concept of the soul and the afterlife. His very own Pokemon, taking his Spiritomb or his Alakazam into account, could easily inform him of such things, proving the validity of these claims.
So he approached the cauldron, with no fear, sticking his hands as he had done for three years now.

The Breeder had spent a lot of time preparing for this holiday. It was one of those where she simply let the doors of Aselia Ranch open, eagerly taking in all the visitors. They came in all shapes and sizes, human and Pokemon alike - children, curious Pokemon, adults, escorts, and so on. Her Pokemon took much fun in the holiday too, helping her make homemade cookies and decorating the grounds accordingly. Pumpkins littered the farmland and she had even set up a "haunted forest" walk down her forested lands, having her Phantump be the guest star for that one.
She hadn't had much time herself to keep the work up, due to throwing herself into her work, in addition to the Interpol Training she was due to receive. It wasn't the happiest of times for her - she still could feel the sores on her ribs from the monstrous attacks of those "Mega" Pokemon. She would never forgive that Magma, and Arceus better help him if she finds her.
But she was happy now, and even tired as she was, her green hair draped behind her as she stuck her hands in the cauldron.
Partially because she didn't care that much for it. It wasn't her favorite holiday, in truth. She enjoyed the festivity, yes, and even took to making a bunch of snow pumpkins for the Snowbelle Gym (Wulfric thought they were cute, so they stayed). But it wasn't really her favorite holiday - that was reserved for the more winter-y days, like New Years and so on. It didn't help that she had some not-so-good memories about her father centered around Halloween, but she pushed those out.
Because she was rocking it.
her outfit was on point, no question about it. Her costume was the same every year, yet every year she stunned the crowds - the Snow Queen outfit, with its icy-blue gala-like feel, drew the attention of the crowds, as she removed her gloves and approached the cauldron. She giggled for a second - as much as she might be awkward around other people, she felt pretty.

If there was a holiday that Jason loved, it had to be Halloween. It was one of the only nights of the year that he had a valid excuse to walk around half naked and show off his amazing body. So, when the young man found out that the hotel he was staying in was having a costume party for all guest, he took the chance to show up in the sexiest costume he had. Jason looked in the mirror and smiled to himself, who was he kidding? What he was wearing was barely a costume, much less something one would show up to in a party as... Yet, Jason wasn't the average person. Staring back at the blond in disguise was the incredibly muscular body he knew, except more tan, and the brown hair he had grown slightly accustomed to. What held all that sexy? Nothing but a black speedo and a white mask that covered his eyes. Oh yes, Jason a superhero minus the clothes. He was sure to win best costume, or at the very least, sexiest costume.
The party was a success, at least in his eyes, because Jason was thoroughly drunk. They were giving out free drinks at the bar, with an ID of course, but since Jason had become "Jackson" he had obtained a fake ID where he was well above the legal limit. The alcohol flowing through his veins had Jason flowing through the crowd, dancing with random people and having more than a few sloppy make-out sessions. It wasn't until around three in the morning when the brunette man found his energy dying and was about ready to leave when he saw a strange light coming from a room. Of course, strange lights attracts drunks like a moth to a flame, so Jason inspected the curiosity. What he found was an odd looking cauldron that held a sign above it reading, Trick-or-Treat?. "Trick-or-", Jason began to say, reading the sign aloud as he hiccuped, then continued, "Treat?"
