Twenty pounds of crazy in a five pound bag. Eileen is just a quirky hacker girl, but the quirky hacker girl. Pulled in Interpol mostly on the pretense of keeping her out of trouble, she is the alien-chasing, cat-loving roving installment of coding prowess bopping from one region to the next in her trusty airstream. She likes candy, hates rudeness, and it's not unusual to find her nested in a closet with her laptop. Not above full-body-tackling her enemies.

Friends are a touch-and-go subject with Eileen. She used to have a bunch. But they were all ex-cons and a minimum of fifteen years her senior. After that particular clique was behind her she mostly stuck to online connections, so she can probably count IRL friends on one hand. That being said, it's not that hard to befriend her. Just. You know. Don't be a jerk to her. Make a good first impression and don't let her see you being a jerk to anyone else, either. Once you've proven you're not out to probe her brains or anything, she's bound to warm up to you eventually. Or alternatively, she may decide she likes you first and adopt you before you have any say in it.

Everyone is a criminal or an alien until proven otherwise. Alright, not literally, not even Eileen is that much of a nut - but the sentiment is similar. She's highly suspicious of everyone around her. She isn't particularly comfortable with crowds or with strangers in general, so when she's out and about she's usually cutting down on the input to some degree by gluing her attention to her cell phone or to the nonstop imagination stream in her head. So, you're already in the red with her if you add to her initial suspicion by being less than savory in her presence. She will dislike you if you're a jerk, and she will plot to have you eaten alive by sharpedos if you mess with the few people she has grown attached to. Or, you know, she might just sic her network of online friends on you to ruin your life and your credit score.

Eileen's romantic history involves lightly crushing on eighties action movie heroes. That is about it. She doesn't really expect anyone to like her, since she thinks people are weird and people tend to think she's weird. But the way to her heart is really as simply as being nice to her and looking out for her, and being understanding and indulgent of her numerous eccentricities. Also, not being an alien is a plus. Have fun convincing her you love her, though.

I saw hacker and alien enthusiast. I could not resist. I am so sorry.

Part of Zerne's shady past in my headcanon included some hacker friends. I figured that one of her online friends could be one of Zerne's hacker friends. Kind of a 'friend of a friend' thing. Maybe their common friend could have 'casually' mentioned Zerne's strange preoccupation with alien sightings and Deoxys and meteor parts. Things can snowball from there if she decides to seek him out or something? Yes I know I need to get that plot moving faster.

Or I don't know, we can go in another direction. Zerne does have a lot of contacts and she could be one of those or something, though he's far too young and in the wrong region for him to be one of her ex-con friends.

Or whichever other direction. I'm rather bad at these things, you see.

Yeah~ I could see Eileen being one of his online contacts or something. Maybe they ran into each other on an alien/space forum and hit it off. They can trade info back and forth on alien shenanigans and what not, and when the Deoxys plot does pick up she could have some degree of involvement in that. Like, Zerne asks her if she can look into thus and so concerning relevant rumors and she gets on the trail of it.

A quick question on that point. How far is she willing to dig about Deoxys and how far can she go? For plot purposes, of course, so Zerne knows how much to push

Not too sure. Guess it would all really depend on where the plot was going. For sure anything she could find out online, short of hacking any government databases. Private organizations are probably fair game though. She might visit places in person too, depending on what she's looking for or may find. Basically how far do you need her to go and we shall see.
