Nights are Days -
We'll beat a path through the mirrored maze.
I can see the end,
But it hasn't happened yet.

Kalos again, but she didn't have the heart to go back to Madeline's Perrington's. It would never be the same as it was back then. Not without Darby and Walt and everyone. Not with Joss still there and against all reason attempting to win her over after ten or so years of barely remembering she existed except when she ate all his dessert. She met her mother at a cafe in the city instead. They talked awkwardly about Dad and how stupid some of the Furfrous coming out of the salon looked.
"Glow?"
All childhood nostalgia and such aside, though, she had never been to the Badlands. Never really had a chance too, because Kalos was all Lumiose City or secluded country manse or bust. It was pretty much just like she expected though - hot and sunny and TONS of dirt as far as the eye could see. Except when the eye saw the highly suspicious looking power plants that, if you asked her, looked more like highly fortified secret government bases for top secret research - but no one was asking her.
"Gloooow!"
All possible extraterrestrial activity aside, though, since she had already stopped in Kalos to see her mother, and since when embarking on a mini world tour it made sense to try to scrape together some extra spending money, she set her sights on the Badlands. Treasure hunting sounded to her like an as good a way as any. She just needed to find something shiny or sufficiently old looking and sell it online. She had friends who could probably appraise it for her.
"GLOW GET YOUR FLUFFY BUTT BACK OVER HERE NOW!"
Finally, the Mareep looked up from where she was nosing around at a dried out little weed and with a little jiggle, got to hopping back over. Eileen stood with the tip of her shovel planted in the ground, fixing the electric sheep with an unamused look before spinning in a tight circle. When she stopped, she planted the shovel in once again.
"We'll dig here," she told the Mareep.
The Glow Cloud meeped and had no particular objections.
