RICHELLE "RICKI" MAREE JACE Female - Twenty - Trainer - Heterosexual - Owner of Odds & Ends | If there is anything to say about the type of people this young trainer hangs around, there is one simple fact. Most, if not all, of Ricki's friends at one point or another, have acquired some sort of criminal record. While Ricki herself isn't a criminal, at least not anymore, she does find herself befriending many people who do have a history of sorts. She is practically a magnet for those with trouble in their pasts. The reason for this being is the simple fact that Ricki is almost always more than willing to give someone a second chance if that's what they want. Even if she comes off as this tough tomboy who doesn't give a fuck, she really is a kind person who cares too much at times. Unfortuantely, this does mean her desire to protect and help those she cares about can come off as being too nosy or over protective. All in all, Richelle Jace is a loyal young woman who does whatever it takes to make sure her friends are happy, even if that means putting herself in harms way. |
| Now, despite Ricki's typically kind and friendly demeanor, the woman has a temper. While it has been relatively tame for a while, recent events have understandably set her on edge once more. Having been the world's punching bag for most of her life, Ricki has found herself all but done with the idea of listening to authority figures. She will most often times refuse to obey anyone who has not gained her respect beforehand, and has no issue with making this very clear. Those dripping with pride and arrogance can also find themselves on Ricki's shit list. There's almost nothing that gets her blood boiling faster than having to deal with someone who is utterly full of themselves. |
| With nothing but a history of terrible relationships in her past, Ricki has almost given up on the idea of finding her special someone. After an abusive relationship that left her with scars both physically and mentally, she had moved onto rush head first into a marriage with a man who was more interested in the physical aspect of the relationship. Divorcing him and running away, Ricki put herself on a break from dating in general. That was nearly six months ago, though, and with further developments, she's begun to consider giving dating just one more shot. |
| Being the bastard child of Jane Jace and Takashi Ugumi, Ricki has a much larger family than she sometimes realizes. Raised by her mother, she doesn't really know too much about her Ugumi side, but that hasn't stopped her from following the flow of her father's side of the family. While she cares very little, if at all, for the fatherly figure that's avoided her like the plague, Ricki still cares deeply for those from the Ugumi family. She is rather family oriented and protective of her kin. It would take a lot for her to ever turn her back on anyone she was related to, since blood runs deep and holds a lot of meaning to her.

| As for work, Ricki is the leader of the group "Odds & Ends" which is basically just an organization dedicated to doing a variety of tasks throughout the regions. The kind of work she does ranges from training others' Pokemon to escorting people, and from delivering items to just random odd jobs around the neighborhood. She does work far and wide and is always up for expanding the business by recruiting trainers, coordinators, and breeders alike. Ricki tends to do most jobs without really asking any questions, leaving her potentially open to taking jobs from questionable parties like Teams or gangs, but she could care less. As long as no one innocent gets hurt, and she gets her pay check, Ricki is good to go.

After escaping the chaos of her home region, Ricki has finally reached Sinnoh with her new husband, Koa. The two have been spending their time originally travelling the region before finally deciding to head on towards Snowpoint to visit Koa's childhood home. Before making the journey, though, Ricki runs into her old frival, Ramoan Albarn. The two catch up with each other, Ricki revealing her marriage and swearing the other to secrecy about the matter, and Ramona demonstrating her eagerness to battle Ricki once more. MUSH!✖ It all happened here with Koa Inaku
Ricki and her husband Koa Inaku moving into his home in Snowpoint, Sinnoh. The thread basically establishes the married couple's new life together. During this time, Ricki has cut off all contact with her friends and family, and focused on just getting adjusted to the idea of settling down. A BURNING PASSION✖ It all happened here with Ronnie Rillito and Aaron Shepard
After a month of sielnce on her part, this marks her first attempt to reunite with her family. Said attempt results in Ricki finding herself in the role of baby sitter. With Ronnie on a supposed school trip to Unova, Ronnie calls her cousin to tag along, only for the week long vacation to turn into a horrible nightmare when Ronnie gets up to her usual shenanigans. HOLY DOPPELGANGER BATMAN!✖ It all happened here with Mirelle Oliver
On the trip back home to Snowpoint, Ricki makes a pit stop in Saffron City, Kanto. During her break from traveling, though, Ricki meets someone who looks surprisingly a lot like her. Almost the spitting image of her younger self, Mireille and Ricki bond over a common interest in music. STALKER? ME? NNNNNNAAAAAAAAHHH!!!• It all happened here with Elinda Aspen
On the boat ride back to Sinnoh, Ricki's past finally catches up with her. Members from her old gang, Arcane, have come to take her back to her home region, and seem to show an interest especially in digging through her bags. As the boat reaches Sinnoh's port, in a last ditch effort at freedom, Ricki uses her brief moment of freedom to make sure her Pokemon manage to escape. Releasing Rep and handing the Lucario her belt of pokeballs, she forces him to abandon her as she's taken back into custody. Rather than fleeing, Rep rushes out onto the dock in search of Ricki's husband, only to find out he never showed up to welcome Ricki home. Instead of the no-show, Rep does manage to find Ricki's distant aunt, Elinda Aspen, who had come to Sinnoh just to find the green-haired trainer. After a clash of forces between Elinda and the Arcane members, briefly pulling Ricki into the mix, Elinda frees Ricki from the gang and the group is effectively detained for the time being. The question as to why they tried to kidnap Ricki was never truly confirmed, but as far as she's concerned, it was probably just because she managed to piss off a lot of people when she left.  DOUBLE MEANING✖ It all happened here with Red
After the incident in Snowpoint, Sinnoh, Ricki's life practically fell apart. Going through a divorce and fleeing the region, Ricki took to Johto to try and resume her previous life style. With a recently evolved Bronzor, she takes to the skies of Olivine City and ends up meeting the Champion Red. Their meeting is brief and mostly Red just making sure she's fine, before both return to their places for the night. A CASE OF DÉJÀ VU✖ It all happened here with Zernebog Romanov
Shortly following her encounter with the Champion Red, Ricki follows up the encounter with a day of cruddy luck. With low funds, and really no way to afford the life style she wants, she indulges herself in a box of donuts to act as comfort food. Unfortunately, she is forced to briefly abandon her snack to spare some kid from being hit by a car. While the mother was less than grateful due to a misunderstanding, Ricki turns around to find the person she'd shoved her box onto decided to steal her breakfast. After a brief chase scene, upon seeing the thief, Ricki realized she recognize the man as another member of Arcane. It wouldn't be until half way through their long battle that Ricki would finally realize her opponent was Zernebog Romanov, an old subordinate of her's. Finally, after her Pidgeotto evolving into a Pidgeot, the two called off the battle to catch back up with each other. HUP . . . HUP . . . HUP!• It all happened here with Vesta Dressler
Heading off after her run in with Zernebog to continue her random travels, Ricki runs into a new trainer by the name of Vesta Dressler. Vesta was a new trainer that demonstrated questionable training methods that Ricki was quick to call her out on. After some bickering, Ricki challenges Vesta to a battle. In the end though, Ricki forfeits to spare Hint from constantly beating himself up due to Confusion. The two go their separate ways. TOY STORY "E"✖ It all happened here with Magma Mikado
Continuing her aimless journey, Ricki runs into another young man who shares her interest in shiny toys. Unfortunately both of them find themselves short on the cash needed in order to buy any of the toys inside. They talk for a bit, but go their separate ways. With her newly established business, Ricki's first big job is the task of escorting a wealthy young gangster by the name of Lucas Courtwater. At first she anticipated him being some big bulky bad boy, but is pleasently surprised to see he is actually a well mannered young man. The simple task of taking him from Point A to Point B ends up completely befuddled though when Ricki's employer instructs her that there are a sudden change of plans and Ricki ends up having to take Lucas else where to safety. The crazy adventure and hiding away forms a close friendship between the two before finally Ricki gets Lucas to a safe destination where he is taken away to another region. THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN• It all happened here with Ramona Albarn
After several months apart, Ricki and Ramona meet up in Sevii for a one-on-one battle between long time rivals. Ramona's Blaziken VS Ricki's Lucario, the fight ends with Ricki's Lucario proving that typing isn't all that matters as he sends Hunter the Blaziken's Earthquake right back at her with double the power. Ricki is victorious and the two spend the day together just kicking back and hanging out. SEVII ISLAND TOURNAMENT✖ VS Yuuki Aotama The battle ends with Ricki winning by default
✖ VS Elinda VS Arthur The battle ends in a tie between Elinda and Ricki COME AT ME, BRO✖ It all happened here with Elinda Aspen and Zernebog Romanov
Following the disappointing tournament, and before she heads off to enjoy her winnings, Ricki manages to grab the front row seat to a real epic battle between Elinda and Zernebog. Though, before either can stand victorious, Ricki takes off in order to avoid being dragged into the chaos. JUST PLAY ALONG✖ It all happened here with Jason Tham and Ronnie Rillito
Back in Kanto prior to leaving for Sevii and taking part in the Tournament, Ricki met Jason in a park after witnessing a destructive fight having taken place. While everyone else had scattered, Jason was the only one to stay place and actually start cleaning the park back up. Ricki asked if it was his job and he answered he no, he was just doing it since it'd be done anyways. Not wanting to just leave the whole mess on his hands, Ricki helped out before other matters called for her attention and she had to take off. They meet back up now in Sevii Islands where Ricki is being harassed by a total creep. She spots Jason in the crowd and in a desperate attempt to escape the creep's insistent asking for a date, she tries to smoothly get Jason to pretend to be her boyfriend, only for the plan to fall flat on its face when Jason doesn't get the hint. The situation takes a turn for the worst with Ricki chucking a toy at the perv's face and dragging Jason off. As an apology for the troubles she caused, Ricki offers to pay her very awkward friend back with dinner... Which ends up being crashed by her cousin Ronnie who briefly confuses the two for a couple. Despite Ricki and Jason both doing their best to assure Ronnie that they are not an item, Ricki is rather positive that Ronnie still thinks they're dating. UNSHAKEABLE✖ It all happened here with Jason Tham
Even after getting her winnings earned from the Summer Tournament victory, Ricki find herself in need of some work to keep the pay flow coming. In result, she takes on the task of running into the Steel City Ruins of the Fortune Islands to find a wealthy woman's missing Abra. Not wanting to go alone on her trek into the unknown though, Ricki offers Jason a chance to come with her with a promise to share the payout if he does. Though, as they approach the ominous ruins, Ricki regrets the idea of bringing along the potentially inexperienced Jason with her. It isn't until things start to go awry though that her regret is nearly forgotten as Jason quickly displays he is perfectly capable of handling himself. Almost shockingly capable, given his personality, although she pays it no mind and the two grab the Abra and take off before the ruins can collapse on them. While heading back to safety, Ricki offers that Jason travel with her to team up for more jobs, an offer Jason does accept. A MATTER OF BUSINESS• It all happened here as a result of business.

Originally a trip to go watch Ronnie perform at the Lavender Town's Halloween Contest, things quickly go awry when Ricki is trapped inside of a Hell-ish maze with a group of people. The further in they ventured the crazier it was going to get. FORKS IN THE ROAD• It all happened here with Zernebog Romanov

While getting prepared for the next day of work, Ricki runs into a flirtatious young man. While charming, this Candy Man's ability to read Ricki like a book more so makes her skin crawl than feeling flattered. After a bit of banter, the young man challenges Ricki to a battle, but with the fact in mind she has to get some work done that may require her Pokemon being well rested, she declines the offer. Not seeming to like being denied, Bunji leaves Ricki with some cold words that completely crawl under her skin and come to loathe the young man. WHAT'S UP DOC?• It all happened here with Murdoc Nikter
A couple of days following her Bunji encounter, and on a break from her work for Interpol Agent Heloise, Ricki lets loose her Zigzagoon Pester, who immediately bolts. Chasing him through the city, fate brings Ricki to a local cafe where Pester is able to find a friend of Ricki's by the name of Murdoc Nikter. Having met him a while back after an awkward museum mishap, Ricki is happy to sit with him and have a chat. As they get caught up on how they other has been doing, Murdoc reveals he'll be heading up north to Snowpoint, much to Ricki's disdain. The conversation does carry on smoothly, in fact to the point of really cementing their friendship.
