SOME WOULD SAY RICKI IS NOTHING MORE THAN A TROUBLEMAKER, but then some would be wrong. To many who first meet her, she is a rather childish person, typically shoving her hands where they just plain don't belong. A lover of thrill and discovery, whenever she gets a random idea to test out - like is it possible to snowboard down the side of the active volcano Mt. Halo - she is almost always guaranteed to give it a shot. These plans do tend to back fire, but they also tend to be some of Ricki's more hilarious stories to tell. However, not all of her stories are as funny and amazing because, despite her age, Ricki has experienced a lot in her twenty-one years of living.

Those that can get past the childish and dorky troublemaker layer of Ricki's personality would be surprised to find a rather optimistic and mature young woman. Her optimism is so strong, some may even call her a fool, especially when you consider the fact many of her friends have rather dark pasts. From assassins to terrorists, and bullies to spoiled brats, Ricki doesn't really pay much attention to where someone's story began, but she focuses more on where someone's story currently is and where it's going. Those that wish to repent and begin to go back down a path of goodness and kindness would be welcomed to her side without question. However, if you stray, there is likely going to be Hell to pay.

POTENTIAL CLASS ROUTES

- TRAINER; Moving more towards a competitive field, a desire for money to make a proper living will likely have Ricki start going the route of someone that regularly participates in Tournaments. Hopefully, participating enough that she becomes something of a Training Celebrity in Nue, because Coordinators aren't the only popular faces in the Pokemon World. However, if she gets busy with other things, I may just leave her as a normal trainer and focus on another route for training. View the section below for the alternative idea.

- COORDINATOR; Ricki's femininity is always something I've wanted to explore but haven't gotten much of the chance because she was just never with the right group of people to be able to pull this off. In a sense, Ricki grew up and was raised to think that "girly = weak" which is horribly inaccurate. As a Coordinator, this route would more or less explore Ricki's actually girly side that's been suppressed all these years. I'm talking dresses, skirts, make up, the whole shebang. However, she's not really going to go full blown princess, but her style will more or less shift from looking like a Thrift Store vomited on her to an actually well dressed adult woman. She's already got a head start in this direction courtesy of Arietta Connally, however I want to give other coordinators some stuff to do as well. So maybe you guys can use this as a chance to have your coordinator gush and ramble about their own coordinating style to newblet Ricki who is struggling to find her own personal style. Admittedly, Ricki's already got a certain style, but she hasn't really realized this, yet.

- GYM LEADER; While I love the idea of Ricki becoming the Poison Type Gym Leader, Ricki hasn't actually had any sort of prompt or motivation to go this route. In all honesty... Ricki doesn't even have a Training License from the League, she's completely rogue. She started out as a trainer simply because that's what all of her friends were doing and she didn't want to be left out. She didn't have any dreams of becoming a Champion or Leader or Ranger or whatever, she just sorta started and loved it too much to stop? So with that in mind, if a Gym Leader or just another Trainer that's familiar with the League could actually point her in the direction of taking the League Challenge, that'd really start to get the ball rolling. Maybe when Ricki is good enough at battling, someone could actually point her in the direction of taking the Gym Leader Exam. Once she is a Gym Leader, her gym will most likely be modeled after either a Construction Zone or Paintball set up in the Wilds. At that point, there will come the interesting internal conflict that'd be fun to play with if I'm able to pull this off.

ODDS & ENDS

ONLY IF RICKI STICKS TO THE TRAINER ROUTE; Odds & Ends is the name of Ricki's actual in character business where she not only trains and sells Pokemon for money, but does things like finding lost Pokemon, kids, or items, acts as a security guard, delivers items from Point A to Point B, or whatever odd job may need being done at the time being. Over time, this business ICly was supposed to grow into something of a Trainers Mercenary Guild, but it never caught on or grew as I had hoped it would. Now with the trainer count growing again, and new members surfacing on EPOCH a bit more frequently, I was hoping to once more try and get this to grow again. So, what's the plan? Well...

- 1) BROADCASTING: The name needs to be spread around, having Ricki maybe do training threads with others or just talking to other characters about her business to get the name ICly spread around. If people she talks to could just mention it to other characters, then yes, that'd be awesome.

- 2) RECRUITMENT: After the name is spread around enough, suddenly, Ricki's got a surplus of business she can no longer handle on her own and has to branch out to other trainers and breeders to help control the wave of work. This in turn creates something of a network for the trainers to find jobs easier. Ricki basically has created a pseudo-craigslist. (If there is a character that is like all about dat tech that actually would want to do a funny thread of Ricki and them creating and designing a web site for this, that'd be awesome)

- 3) ESTABLISHMENT: The Odds & Ends "Guild" won't become a team but it may have something along the lines of a Head Quarters AOI, or just a OOC board where people can track jobs and do them together. The board will most likely be in the Poke Trader's Post and function rather similar to the current Poke Trader's Post but all focus must be on IC plotting in this board. Every trainer affiliated with the Odds & Ends Guild would need a thread that specifies what kind of jobs they do and there will be a main thread posted up that basically just has missions and assignments the guild members can claim to run off and do with each other or by themselves.

LEGENDARY POKEMON

Surprisingly enough, Ricki doesn't have much interest in really of the Legendaries. She just collects figurines of them, but she doesn't care much for them. However, this doesn't mean she doesn't have potential to get involved with Legendary Plots. The following are going to pretty much be the only Legendaries Ricki really knows much of anything about that isn't common knowledge. If you have any other Legendaries in mind you need a plot partner for, feel free to mention it.

- DEOXYS; Ricki's previous terrorist organization was actually in the process of researching this Legendary when Ricki quit. However, Ricki was unaware of this at the time, and she's also clueless about what she has a hold of. You see, when Ricki quit, she actually stole a flash drive from her boss as a sort of petty "haha fuck you man" revenge thing. After this, she got so caught up in trying to get away from Arcane, the terrorist group she was a part of, that she forgot to check what was on it. Despite it being two years since then, she still has this old flash drive, but it's been long since forgotten by her and assumed to just be some dirty porn stash. However, this flash drive actually contains information on Deoxys; rather basic info though, but it's still information. For any that are interested, this old usb is always in Ricki's bag and can easily be discovered.

- CELEBI; Because Ricki fucking hates this thing due to things that happened a couple of years ago courtesy of this little troll. If you want hilarious rage induced bitching, Ricki's good to drag into Celebi shenanigans.

ARCANE PLOT POTENTIAL

- What is Arcane? Well simply put, it was the terrorist organization that Ricki Jace, Elinda Aspen, and Zernebog Romanov were all part of two years ago. The region these two came from was caught up in a power struggle between three different groups - the equivalent of the League, the Power Hungry Business Tycoons, and, the equivalent of the region's team, Arcane. Arcane started out as a simple group of locals growing angry by the League and Tycoons suddenly converting their region from a simple small town feel into a more touristic and trainer flooded place. Over time though, rather than just locals protesting the changes being made, the local small time gangs began to get involved and peaceful protests started to evolve into riots. As of result, the group quickly escalated into violence and explosive displays in their pursuit of regaining control of the region. Most of the members of this team were unaware of some of the darker extents Arcane had gone to, but there were actually a few assassinations of various public officials carried out by this group.

- Ricki's Involvement; Ricki actually started out as a typical gangster in the group, before raising through the ranks to quickly find herself the one in charge of training the trainers of Arcane. She was the Admin of Battle and was going to be groomed to become something of a flashy battle tank for Arcane to use however they pleased. Intended to be an instrument of war, she was going to be expected to take up killing and be numbed to the effects of the chaos she was going to be expected to cause. Her boyfriend / fiance at the time was basically her co-admin and they were a pretty infamous couple. He had already begun to get weaved into the trouble Arcane was causing the region. However Ricki left before her corruption could happen courtesy of Elinda Aspen's influence.

- Past Members of Arcane; After Ricki, Elinda, and Zernebog's fleeing of the region, the region quickly escalated into what could be called a Civil War, with Arcane definitely not coming out as the victor. The group dissolved at that point, but the members didn't just vanish. There was actually an incident in which a few of them made an appearance on EPOCH to try and kidnap Ricki to retrieve the flash drive she had stolen from her boss that contained information on Deoxys. This attempt however failed, courtesy of Elinda. It wouldn't be too hard to believe that other members of the team might still be lurking in the shadows in search of either rebuilding the power they once lost via recruiting this trio, getting revenge on them for abandoning Arcane that may have caused it's down fall, or maybe they themselves have calmed their jets and there can be that awkward "Hey I remember you, you're not still bad right? No? OH SWEET, hey you remember that time we did X?"

To be honest, most of the members of Arcane that were among the ranks of grunts / agents were some of Ricki's closest friends. So, if you'd like to maybe create a character that was a past friend of Ricki's, this would be a good place to start them up.

INTERESTING ENCOUNTERS;
- Younger Characters; Ricki may be a childish ninny at first, but she is huge on the whole "cool big sister" type of character. She's not really a role model, but she can still act as a rather important support role that a younger character may need. Rather determined to make sure no one makes her mistakes, she'd be obligated to try and make sure any youth didn't fall into the temptation of "evil" so to speak. However there are times she can be over bearing and while she is the "cool big sister" type, there are times she struggles to properly advise others on what to do. All in all though, she's a rather great support role for any youth that dreams big.

- Arrogant/Superior Ranking Characters; If you want someone you'll clash with, look no further. Ricki hates the self-entitled "mightier than thou" types, and just because someone has some big flashy title it doesn't mean anything to her. If you want her respect, you earn it, don't expect it.

- Criminals; Almost every single one of Ricki's closest friends have a criminal record of some sort, and as result, she isn't the type of person to really get aggressive towards anyone that is considered a criminal. If there are any criminals that are actually actively seeking redemption and wishing to change their lives for the better, Ricki is willing to help them out.

NOTEWORTHY PLOT NOTES;
- Mega Evolution; Ricki has knowledge on Mega Evolution and is willing to teach it to anyone she deems worthy, so this will require a detailed plot of how anyone proves their worth to her.

Alright, well, I’ve said this before, but I would like Ricki to be one of the key people to turn Vesta into a more relaxed and free individual, to get her to explore her own interests (as well as develop them). Admittedly, being in Interpol with idiots like Engel and Ace have her well on that way, but I don’t think that it would be the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak.

I thought that Ricki could convince her to try new things, starting with putting more of a casual, stronger interest in training, putting more emphasis on training to battle instead of training just to get stronger, and possibly convince Vesta to try the gyms or something (since I’d like to try), and maybe even be one of the people to convince her to be a Ranger for her love of Pokémon, if I can go that route (since Interpol was honestly something I probably shouldn’t have attempted). Eventually, this could also turn to girliness and clothing; Vesta is already a bit more open about her clothing, but she still sticks to mostly the same thing (staying within the realm of jeans and t-shirts from fatigues and plain t-shirts), as Ricki goes down that path, and in a way, Vesta can return this; while she isn’t overtly girly about it, or even ever did much other than braid it, Vesta is one of those girls that is fond of her own hair, grooming, shampooing, running her fingers through it, that sort of thing, although she usually just does it in the morning or at night when she’s getting out or into bed or something like that.

Admittedly my muse is confused since there have been so many AUs lately, but if I were to guess, Vesta and Ricki’s relationship would be something like “that kinda annoying person that is my friend but I won’t admit it”, with Ricki being one of the few people that Vesta trusts, even though on Vesta’s part it’s a bit reluctant since she thinks Ricki’s a bit too relaxed or something like that. I want to get them to a point where they’re best friends.

But like I think it'd be cool for Jason and Ricki to meet up (again? We had that one thread but idk if it counts) b/c he's a fugitive and he's been framed and like the whole "everything isn't all black/white" and yeah. And he needs a travel buddy and stuffs.

But no, seriously, would love to do something with Arcane. Don't really care who with as virtually any and all of my characters can be thrown at a plot involving them.

Elinda - Obvious plawt be obvious. She was one of the founding members of the group, and had made a habit of messing with them in the past after they went extremist and she defected. They weren't exactly the type of group to forgive and forget, and after coming out as one of the many losers in their home region's civil war, makes sense a few of them might migrate elsewhere to survive. Maybe a chance for her and many of the other characters involved to finally be given closure forcing the team to disband for good, regardless of who makes the first move.

Ryusuke - As mentioned in the past, Ricki and Ryusuke threads should happen more. He never really knew of the team beyond being aware of the name while in his mother's and Ricki's home region, so it'd be more than a little interesting to get him involved in schenanigans with them, especially given that, again, they don't forgive or forget, and much of Elinda's reason for booting him back to Orre and Hoenn was to avoid him ever coming in contact with them to begin with. That being said, his family's ties to the organization were never made known to him, so possibly funsies in a one sided game of cat and mouse.

Jason - Given that Ricki had helped him cut ties with his past with Team Rocket and that he's fully aware of Ricki's history with Arcane, them merely reappearing would be enough to get his attention and involved.

Kurogane - Team vs Team funsies. Rocket's been trying to keep quiet as of late, but that doesn't mean they're going to sit by and twiddle their thumbs as another gang based Team pops up in what they've not-so-publicly claimed as "theirs", despite small numbers. Kurogane needs things to do, and villain vs villain plots are always fun if only for the complete and utter lack of rules and general morals. Or, for additional funsies, attempting to absorb Arcane's remaining members and power into Rocket for general awkwardness all around later.
