elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.

Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Behind a corner from the city's bank, Yumi prepared her pokemon for a mission issued by their Hoenn admin, Albedo himself. Though the experience of battling against him had been crushing it seemed that Yumi had shot back with more vigor than ever before, if dragged a little deeper into the rockets. The Admin had granted her this mission as a chance to prove her allegiance, something she would never usually care for but...she wanted to prove herself to him, prove she wasn't just a girl who got by, and could write her own epic in this grand tale of the rockets. With several injuries, Ko-ken had been forced to stay home today, so she had to improvise.
Before her were Vashi, a small but "heroic" rufflet who loved to play the role. So long as he was seen as confident and strong he was happy. He was loyal too, almost as loyal as Ko-ken. Durdon her Houndour was a second choice, a little slow, but hardly a threat to anyone. Oddly enough, this was perfect. Her pokemon nodded as they recalled the plan, in a moment the alarm of the local bank would sound and the team would rush around the corner, chasing their team mates as they played dress up in Aqua gear. They had to retrieve the money, let them get away, and above all, make it a huge diversion as the real robbery went on elsewhere.
"And Vashi, remember, when you swoop in and grab that money, everyone watching will see you as the little hero that saved the day." He smiled, already holding himself with pride, gaining a slight chuckle from his trainer and a confused head tilt from Durdon. "Don't worry little guy. You just chase them and nip at their heels. We-"
BWOOP! BWOOP! BWOOP! "YOU'LL NEVER CATCH US! MWAHAHHAHAHHA!"
"Weeeeee gotta move." Yumi rose to her feet quickly, watching as some "Aqua" agents rushed off with nearly cartoonish bags of money. "They did say they needed to make a show of it."
With quick movements, Yumi began chasing the agents down the street, Vashi and Durdon running beside her.

Rep used Extreme Speed to pass the group of 5 "Aqua" Agents and knocked two over. The remaining 3 were knocked down by a restrained Air Slash from Ricki's Pidgeot.
“Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your kind donations to Team Aqua” a tall man sighed, glancing back at the looming Gyrados that blocked off the bank's entrance. “It all will be put to great use, don't you worry” he laughed, tilting his head to look over at the goons getting to work on gathering the money from the clerks along with the group coming from the back. All of them wore masks, clothing making their affiliation blatantly obvious to anyone who knew Team Aqua. The group of civilians that had been moved to the center of the room, sitting on the floor, were all severely confused and panicked. Their wrists had been tied with zip-ties and they were all forced to sit Indian style. Muttering and whispering to each other about the apparent return of Aqua? But how? Didn't they disband already?
Amongst the group though, a young woman with dark green hair was looking less confused and panicked and more so pissed than anything. 'Oh don't worry, I'll handle the check, Jason' she had said. 'I'll head to the bank on my way off to train, it won't be a problem' she had assured and the seething woman could only glare down at the zip-ties that had been tied around her wrists. Oh Jason was not gonna be happy about this, she was sure. How come every region she went to, one way or another, the local teams somehow found a way to get her involved? She sighed, glancing up at the Aqua members that slowly circled the group of civilians like a couple of sharks waiting for the beginning of a feeding frenzy.
When she met the eyes of one of the circling men, Ricki held their gaze with an unwavering golden stare. It got the man's attention, making him stop and watch as she bit down on the little bit sticking out of the zip-tie’s lock and yanked it to tighten the zip-tie’s hold on her wrist. She wiggled her fingers in a taunting fashion, look at me, I'm stuck. There was more than just her stubborn holding of his gaze that had the member unnerved by her actions. She had nearly escaped just moments before, and got into a fight with one of the robbers that she nearly won but with a whack to the face she'd been knocked to the ground and tied up. The member stared her down, before dismissing the odd behavior and carrying on his walk around the group. Ricki glanced down at the zip-tie and once more bit down on it, giving it another yank to tighten it again. The people next to her watched the action absolutely baffled. One even leaned over to ask what she was doing and Ricki only offered them a grin as she gave another yank on the zip-tie.
The bank robbery carried on, just as smoothly as the men and women had planned. But, they were going to need a bit more attention than they were currently getting for this to really concrete the plan. With the money nicely tucked away into their cartoony bags, it was time to get away. Granted, one recruit would 'slip' and suddenly the alarm would begin to go off.
BWOOP! BWOOP! BWOOP!
Hadn't these people ever heard of a silent alarm? Ricki and her fellow captured civilians looked up only for it to dawn on them a moment later this wasn't a security alarm but a--
The sprinklers turned on, water raining down from the ceilings as the Gyrados was returned and the entrance was once more in view. Ricki watched the Aqua members start to run out, scoffing at the arrogant shout. The other captives remained unmoving, unsure of what to do, and many looked up as Ricki was the first to get up. She gave one more tug to her zip-tie before raising her hands up above her head. In a swift fluid motion, she swung her hands down at her stomach, as if she were going to impale herself with a knife should she have had one. Bringing her arms down, her shoulder blades pushing back together, she immediately moved to pull her hands apart and the swift strong motion was enough to overwhelm the zip-ties locking mechanism. The cheap plastic snapped and Ricki was within seconds free once more.
“How did yo--”
“Internet” she sharply answered, quickly running towards the entrance. “Been fun!” she shouted back, swinging out the door and quickly running over to the railing of the stairs up to the bank's front entrance. Gripping it, she used it as a support to swing her legs up and over, skipping the stairs and jumping down to the ground to stumble before running as fast as she could to catch up with the fleeing robbers. As she ran, she didn't notice the red head that was already moving in to give chase herself, her focus resting on simply catching up with the culprits. Hitting her wrist on the pokeballs on her hip, Ricki was immediately joined by a Lucario that only took a second to catch her stride and follow suit. “You know what we're doing?” she questioned and smirked at the Pokemon's curt nod. “Alright.” She flicked another pokeball from her belt.
“Cut them off, I got the rest” she instructed. With a chuff, Rep quickly picked up his pace, rushing pass Ricki in a natural high speed that had him easily running pass the Rocket disguised as Aqua crew. The surrounding civilians were quick to scatter, getting out of the way of the dangerous group and into the safety of buildings, alleyways, etc. Rep turned to fall into pace with the head man, immediately getting a baffled look. Rep didn't meet his gaze though, instead he stepped once more ahead and turned to shove himself roughly into the leader, knocking him off balance and into another person, causing a small domino effect.
Two of the five agents stumbled back, falling and resulting in the other three to stop to tug them back up. They reached for their pokeballs, only for the Lucario to run out of sight just as a powerful gust of wind knocked the remaining three agents down as well. Looking up, a Pidgeot had taken to the sky above Ricki, having used a controlled Air Slash to knock them all to the ground. “So, what was that about never catching you, Gingerbread Man?” Ricki asked, pushing her bangs and hair back from her face. The fire alarm had drenched her in seconds, but she had been so focused on catching up with the agents, she didn't even notice she was soaked until now. The crowd had quickly backed off, everyone giving the woman and the fallen over group their distance as many scrambled for their phones to call cops or record this epic scene.
In seconds though, it was about to get a bit more complicated.
"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi smile as she seemed to be doing a good job of catching up to the agents while not moving too fast either. She recognized one of the faces from the briefing, an older gentleman with some stubble around the chin he supposedly grew for this one job just to look more like the seamen themed aquas. She couldn't help but smile back just a little brighter as her looked back over his free shoulder, winking and ready to be "caught". So far so good, everything was going to plan. Even Vashi and Durdon seemed more than happy to keep going. On the Rufflet's side, he hadn't gotten to truly play a hero role for a long time, and though it was staged, he was still excited to see the crowds that would form as he carried the money back in his talons. Durdon...well. He was Durdon. He was just glad he was going for a run.
Of course, Yumi having Yumi's luck, complications seemed to arise. A streak of blue shot up next to the agent who had winked at her moments ago, both Yumi and the fake Aqua looking equally confused as Yumi halted her chase. Had Albedo came up with a new plan without informing the crew? Surely not, after all this was the first real job he had given her, it would be no good if she screwed it up due to a little mix up in communications. Pulling up his wings, Vashi slowed down a bit to swoop around, landing next to Yumi and giving her a puzzled look, only to find he'd earn one in return, the red head shrugging and miming the words. "I don't know."
With some distance between her and the agents, Yumi watched as her co-workers were taken down in an instant from a simple movement from the Lucario. Ugh, as smart as some of the higher ups were the grunts really weren't the brightest bunch. In seconds two of them were down and the other stopped to help them. Don't help them! Run! We need to keep this as long as we can! Little did Yumi know it could only get worse, gulping as the others suddenly fell down beside their comrades, one even falling atop another. Wondering what on earth happened, her eyes darted around, only to have Vashi point it out for her instead. The Pidgeot flying above. Great! Whoever had decided to jump in on this had proven in two pokemon or less that they were something not to be messed with lightly. Soon enough, a trainer would approach the downed agents, drenched green hair curtaining her face and hiding it from Yumi who, by now, was quite the distance away anywho.
"Oh no this isn't good...the boss is gonna kill us!" She turned quickly to Vashi, seeming very nervous as she tugged at her hair, nibbling on some loose locks as her nerves got to her. This was meant to be her big chance! Her moment to prove herself as a valuable agent in the public eye! What to do what to do what to-"Hey where's Durdon?"
Vashi simply held his wing out. While they'd spent their time watching, the overly excited hound had decided he wouldn't stop and just kept runing, nearly at the group of downed agents! She'd have to go over and show her face! What if she got associated with them for something so small!? Why did Durdon have to be so...stupid...? WAIT! With an ecstatic grin as a glimmer of hope shined in her eyes, Yumi turned back to their goal, the agents, grabbing a single pokeball from her belt and unleashing what lay within with a bright red flash, forming her Tauros. A long time mount who had never been trained correctly. Vashi only seemed to get more confused and worried as Durdon kept running. Soon enough, Yumi knelt beside him, rubbing the side of his beak.
"Hey, I know we said we'd play hero today...but we gotta play the fool." A dissapointed "ruuuuff" Came from her pokemon, but he nodded, flapping his wings and quickly getting the ideas as he took to the skies. Yumi could only give a small smile as she herself hopped upon Calhoon, lightly petting his mane. "Whatever you do, do NOT throw me at that pile of people." A small snort from the nostrils of the Tauros, and they where off like a bullet, Yumi screaming at near comedic levels as she gripped hard to the beasts mane.
"WOOOOOAH THERE CALHOON! THEY ALREADY GOT THEM!" She called out, making it apparent to anyone watching she was supposedly chasing the Aqua's herself. Up ahead, Durdon leaped over the pile of down agents and into the chest of the Lucario, forcing it down for a moment and licking at it's face like a puppy happy to make a new friend. Up above, Vashi purposely started to falter in his flight, swaying chaotically until he slammed into the Pidgeot, entangling one of their wings and struggling to keep the flight up. Yumi herself released at the perfect moment, just as Calhoon was about to force her off, getting launched towards the trainer who had caught her co-workers and screaming at the top of her voice. "WATCH OUT!"
WHAM
Yumi had closed her eyes but the impact was easy enough to feel. Both trainer's and their pokemon all likely on the floor par Calhoon who watched with a smirk. Yumi groaned and rubbed her head as the sound of footsteps around her gave her a small smile. The agents had taken their chance and managed to get on their feet, rushing off again while they could. Rolling onto her back Yumi let out a sigh, looking over to the trainer she'd been fired into. "S-sorry about that Ma'am I....I...." Wait...isn't she....?

Durdon was durdon and tackled Lucario for loves and licks Vashi feigned flight failure, crashing into pidgeot and forcing both to crash Yumi got launched by a mad Tauros into Ricki, both likely now on floor, Yumi recognises a face.

By The Way; Ricki's Pissed ♥
Rep and Pidge both take a tumble because of the Houndour and Rufflet. Rep shoves the Houndour off and gives chase. An Aqua agent releases a Mightyena to counter Rep.
Pidge back-wings the Rufflet away and takes to the sky to prepare use Fly.
Ricki brutally slaps Yumi and is now dragging her painfully by the arm so not to lose track of her.
Feel free to make edits to the Migthyena's move set, spawn other Pokemon, play as them, etc.
Completely unaware of the dunce about to jump into the fray, Ricki started to approach the down agents to get to wrapping things up. She turned to reach into her bag to pull out her rope to tie the group together when she heard a few screams and turned to see the crowd quickly parting. There was a girl shouting loud and panicked, and it didn't take Ricki long to decipher that the crowd moved to let the so-called help come crashing into the scene.
Literally.
A houndour was the first to rush in, leaping over the agents and into Rep to shower the Lucario in affection. Though, that didn't last long as the Lucario was already shoving the hound off in a clearly irritated way. He wiped off his face, and as he tried to hold the hound at bay, the sky was the next to take a hit. Pidge cried out in surprise when Vashi collided into her, scrambling quickly to attempt to get around the flailing bird against her. With the smaller bird insistent on crashing repeatedly against her wings, she couldn't maintain air properly and simply settled for at least trying to land properly. The moment she was down though, she whirled around to knock Vashi back with her wing. She leaned towards him to let out a screech from her beak that only complimented the next incident.
“WATCH OUT!”
Ricki whipped around at the scream and her eyes opened wide in shock to see a red haired woman suddenly thrown up into the sky. The moment she saw it coming though, was a moment too late to get out of the way.
WHAM
Ricki grunted as she was knocked to the ground, laying in place as Yumi got to backing off. She let out a low pain filled groan as she had already taken a beating from earlier and the red head landing on her like that did not help at all. Without Yumi on her though, Ricki slowly started to push herself up, eyes snapping open wen she heard foot steps. She looked back and quickly shouted “Rep!” Without a moment's hesitating, Rep gave a finally shove off of the Houndour and scrambled to catch back up with the fleeing grunts. As he moved to take over, Ricki's head snapped to the side to scold the woman beside her for her reckless antics (even if Ricki really was the last person in the world to have the right to lecture about such a thing) when golden eyes locked on golden eyes.
Yumi's apology fell on deaf ears as Ricki's eyes went from clearly ready to explode to a serious chill. She started to push herself up, a low growl of “you” escaping her. In a swift motion, Ricki had brought back a fist ready to hit Yumi in the face when another screech from her pissed off Pidgeot made her stop to glance over. She looked back at Yumi and her hand opened up. With a violent, no holding back, motion, Ricki intended to slap Yumi across the face. “The fuck are you doing here?!” she snapped, starting to get up and ready for a fight right there and then. Another screech from Pidge and Ricki whirled around to the bird. “WHAT?!”
Pidge's feathers fluffed in a clearly irritated display, she shot a look at Vashi and took back up to the sky to make her way to Ricki. She pointed a wing ahead to bring attention to the fleeing Aqua brigade. With another frustrated growl, Ricki looked down at Yumi. If looks could kill, Yumi would be ten feet under right then and there. She stepped over and gripped the woman painfully by her arm and turned to march after the men. “Walk and talk” she ordered, part of her ready to just grip Yumi by the pony tail instead and drag her by that. She worked to maintain her temper as she tried to catch back up with Rep and the agents though.
Rep was acting as a one Pokemon wrecking machine, using his speed to his advantage to catch up to the Aqua members. To maintain the Aqua association, the team members had equipped themselves with water-type Pokemon, but it was clear that wasn't the only thing they had with them as evident with a Mightyena that was now released. The dark-type's Intimidation immediately lowered Rep's attack drive, but the Lucario's body responded with a red glow. Using Work Up to counter the lowered attack, Rep was powered up, again, and his red glow was followed up by a pink glow, an Agility increasing his speed as he moved in. The Mightyena's trainer was the only one to stop this time, while the group of thieves kept going. They weren't about to get away from this though as Ricki continued to stomp after them with Yumi in tow.
“Pidge, get ready to rock 'em like a Hurricane” she coldly ordered and the bird took to the sky once more to do as she was told. Pidge taking to the sky would zoom pass the Lucario and Mightyena. The street was quickly becoming empty of people as they started to flee for the safety of the indoors when the battles were clearly starting up. Ricki came to a stop as she saw the Lucario and Mightyena match up, before starting onwards once more, not bothering to hang back for that fight. Rep had taken down a Blaziken before, a Mightyena would be no problem with that type advantage. Plus, Ricki having had owned a Mightyena in the pass, the Lucario was very familiar with them.

Yumi brought up her hands to defend herself, watching as the green haired ex captive of one of her missions rushed over with killer intent and a fist reared back ready to assault the red head. She closed her eyes, expecting her nose to be broken in the next ten seconds. With no Enzo, Tequill, or Ko-ken to protect her, the only saving she got was a shriek from one of her pokemon to distract Ricki. Opening her eyes Yumi thought she was safe, when suddenly, the fist just became a slap, leaving a burning red mark on Yumi's cheek. "O-OW! Jesus....I...I probably deserved that." She smiled nervously at Ricki, only to feel her arm grabbed and dragged off behind the trainer as her pokemon all found themselves.
Durdon himself just seemed displeased that he couldn't lick the Lucario anymore, afterall it was just his way of showing affection. Stil being dragged along Yumi just gave him a glance and nodded to the trainers ahead, telling him to give chase. As Vashi dusted his feathers off, he watched the pidgeot take to the sky, sighing. That huge bird was the kind of pokemon he wanted to be, heroic looking and impressive, yet he was stuck just "playing the role." Nevertheless, he looked to his trainer for orders. Yumi herself glanced over her shoulder, glad to be seeing everyone was still getting away.
"V-Vashi! Chase those guys! Grab the bags!" The bird gave a quick salute before taking to the air, flying ahead of everyone and straight over the mightyena as it was thrown out, barely dodging another pokeball from the fake Aqua grunts sent out another pokemon, the towering Gyrados who had been blocking the bank's doors earlier in the day. Yumi was glad to see her little "mess up" had things going more to plan now, the agents getting away and helping buy time with their pokemon.
"Y-Ya know you don't have to grip so hard!" Yumi struggled, trying her best to not only hold Ricki back, but get the girl off, making it seem like she was just a girl struggling to get free rather than the big distraction of the evening. "I-I'm just here to help!"
As their trainer struggled, the pokemon got to work. Vashi still gave chase with strict instructions not to actually harm the agents but just take back what they stole, meaning her just needed to get close enough to give a good yank on the bags for them to let go.
Calhoon, the Tauros, not entirely prepped on the plan, charged ahead, straight beside rep and blowing steam from his nostrils as his rage activated, tackling the Gyrados with all his strength and digging his horns in, wrestling with the larger of the two pokemon and taking up most of it's focus.
Durdon...he thought he had a new fiend as soon as he saw the mightyena, rushing ahead and yipping in it's face, only to be flung to one side with a sweep of the mightyena's paw in a quick sucker punch.

“Understatement of the year” Ricki harshly snapped as she marched along. What was her luck? Bank robbery and running into one of the assholes that kidnapped her? She was cursed, this wasn't a joke anymore. She'd have to bug Hemlock for talismans or something, just a charm or something that would ward off all of this bad mojo fast. Live fast, die pretty was not something she wanted to really live by anymore, but at this rate, she was destined for an early funeral. If Jason caught wind of what was going on, he was going to have one Hell of a fit... Maybe. Would he? Now wasn't the time to really worry herself with that train of thought.
Her focus shifted gears, her grip on Yumi remaining tight like steel. As Yumi gave an order for her little bird to give chase, Ricki was practically radiating irritation. After that sloppy entrance, she wanted Yumi to do anything but try to help anymore. Really it would be better if the girl would just shut up and follow her before she got anymore pissed. She was considering just knocking her out, but she controlled herself as the Gyrados would spawn in front of them. With Pidge taking to the sky, she looked up to call out “Redirection! Keep following the robbers!”
A cry came from above, the pidgeot dove back down into view but she kept her position relatively high in the sky. A powerful gust of wind would follow her though, a Tailwind swooping in quickly to boost the speed of Rep along with Yumi's pokemon as Pidge had identified them as a kind of aid. Not a good one, but an aid either way. As the Gyrados's attention locked onto Yumi's Tauros, Pidge took this as a chance to swoop past and keep up with the thieves as ordered. It didn't take long for her to pass even Vashi to spot the group in question. Knowing Rep would be able to pick her up, and with unknown numbers potentially against her, Pidge opted not to engage the men but remain behind them to keep an eye on them.
Watching Pidge smoothly take off, Ricki turned her attention to the pesky Gyrados and reached to her belt to grab one more pokeball when suddenly Yumi began to struggle. She didn't anticipate it this time, resulting in Yumi slipping from her grasp as she insisted that she was there to help. Ricki's cold glare locked once more on her, a clear sign that she wasn't willing to take any kind of bullshit today. Without a word of warning, she would try to swiftly get her grip again, but this time it wasn't Yumi's arm she went for but an exceptionally long red pony tail. Grip it, and rip it. The moment Ricki's hand got into the other's hair, she grabbed as much of it as she could, rotated her hand and with a sharp yank back, Yumi's head would be snapped back and with the effort put into the tug, she would most likely fall back to the ground. Ricki would release her hair to let her fall and throw out her Bronzong's pokeball.
“Gyarados” she coldly stated before turning back to Yumi. “I don't care what you're trying to do! I'd rather you just shut up and do nothing” she snapped harshly, struggling to not stomp on her as she was down. In the distance, a news helicopter has taken to the sky nearby briefly getting Ricki's attention and acting as a brief deterrent to stop beating on her 'partner' at the moment. “Stay out of the way, and if you run off, I'm going to be the last of your worries, I guarantee” she growled. As Ricki issued her last threat, the Bronzong got to work on dealing with the Gyarados. Using Telekinesis, the large dragon-like water type would be yanked from the ground and quickly find himself the target of not one, but two Charge Beams.
It was easy to tell her Pokemon were picking up quickly on their trainer's anger and solemn attitude. No time to play, something was going down. As the Mightyena was distracting itself with the Houndour, Rep immediately took the opportunity to blind side the hound with a quick Close Combat that was a guaranteed OHKO. The moment the hound began to drop, he was already up and running pass the crowd to also catch up with the fleeing Aqua grunts.
Yumi felt the sweet taste of freedom as her hair was free, she wanted to keep it going, keep on apologising. She had changed, it was true, at least in the eyes of the red head. She wanted to let Ricki know she was truly sorry even in the heat of the moment, but just as she was about to up her game in apprehending the "aqua's", she felt a sharp tug on her hair again, the sharp shot of pain seeming to run through her entire body, landing hard on her rear and groaning harshly as her whole body felt like it was aching as the stinging in her head still calmed down.
"H-hey I-" Ricki cut her off with even more threats, and as Yumi rubbed her head, she turned her eyes to the situation at hand. The Pidgeot had easily flew past Vashi, the still undevolved bird could hardly keep up. Yumi glanced at her own pokeballs that she had left. By now, Vashi was struggling to keep up, Calhoon was rushing past the gyrados, believing the trainer with his own could take it on. As things were going, it was all utter chaos, Yumi needed something to change, some way to keep this to the mission objective, and still not have Ricki pulling on her ponytail.
As the Gyrados found itself attacked by charge beams, it's whole body curled around them roaring loudly at the bornzor and firing out a hydro pump in response, wanting to fight back.
"...." Sighing deeply to herself, Yumi pushed herself up to her feet, the wobbly Durdon making his way back to her. Whether Ricki still had a grip on her ponytail or not, she wouldn't even look at the green haired girl. This was not a situation she could really "win" like this. If she messed with Ricki too much, she would never have the girl believe she'd changed. If she held back too much, Ricki would easily get the rockets, and she'd have hell to pay from Albedo. Pulling out two of her remaining pokeballs, she gazed off to the thieves in the distance, gritting her teeth and wondering if this final decision was really gonna be a good one.
"Alright...I guess you don't need my help...but I don't think these guys will wanna miss out."
Pressing the buttons atop the pokeballs, two streams of light burst out, A blue fighter, a Sawk, stood proudly with his arms crossed, and from the other light, a roaring beast burst forth, instantly rushing into flight. The mighty charizard flew off extremely fast, and with a hard kick from the Sawk, he landed atop the Charizard, the two flying forward and easilty catching up with the head of the pack. With one of the rockets looking back, it seemed like Yumi had decided they go to plan B.
In an instant the Charizard burst forward landing before the thieves, rearing his head back and letting out a mighty roar for intimidation, the Deep scar on his neck becoming clear to anyone nearby, and the sight of it making Yumi flinch just a little remembering how he got it...she couldn't mess up.
"Sorry Ricki, but I ain't about to let these guys get away!"
The Rockets, finding themselves facing the dragon like fire type of their team mate got a tad nervous. The leader of the small group glared back at Yumi, who made a small twirling motion with her finger on the sly, trying to tell them to roll with it. Growling in frustration, the "aqua's" took in their situation. Soon enough they were surrounded by a Tauros, a charizard, a sawk, two birds, and a Lucario.
"Fine...if that's the way you kids want it..." Hoping the red head that had been tasked with their get away had a plan, the grunt and his fellow members pulled out their pokeballs, throwing them up into the air and unleashing the creatures within. Having to stick to the water and dark theme of the aqua's, the sent out a weavile, a sharpedo, a tentacruel, and a sableye, surrounding and defending them. Even the Gyrados moved swiftly inbetween Enzo and the rockets, the two near dragons glaring eachother down and growling quietly at eachother.
WIth her hair likely still in Ricki's grip, Yumi turned to the green haired trainer. "There's 4 of them and one of you, I don't care if you let go of my hair or not but I'm helping you on this!"
Sorry for the time I took. Yumi stood up and unleashed Enzo (charizard) and Ko-ken (sawk). Sawk rode Enzo to the front of the thieves, roaring out and revealing his scar, as well as stopping the thieves
Watching the Gyarados twist its body to avoid the Charge Beams, Ricki could only stare in a brief moment of frustrated awe. How the hell did it dodge that? With the Hydro Pump being fired off, Ricki would already be retorting. “Hit the pump!” she ordered again. Swiftly rotating his body to spin out of the way, the Bronzong would avoid the Hydro Pump and immediately fire off a Charge Beam at the conductive water for a guaranteed shock to the Gyarados. It would be then that Yumi would announce she was going to let out even more Pokemon into this chaotic mess. Ricki (who had let go of her pony tail after yanking Yumi to the ground) turned to her, ready to rip into her again for causing more trouble when suddenly it wasn’t just some basic inexperienced fighters taking to the field. A gust of wind swept pass her as the Charizard blazed into the battle and Ricki turned quickly to watch it and the Sawk suddenly pass her own team to cut off the thieves first.
Why the hell did Yumi not do that in the first place?!
Ricki turned a confused frustrated glare to the red head. The hell was she thinking? Was it some sort of game for her? An attempt to steal some stupid glory? Swallowing back her frustration, Ricki let out a loud whistle to have Pidge redirect her path and the bird smoothly turned to move back towards Ricki as the Lucario came to a stop to observe the new group of Pokemon being released. Ricki was already working out the match ups in her head, though she noted she and Yumi clearly outnumbered the grunts’ Pokemon even if they had more man power. Rattling her mind, quickly she turned her gaze up to her Bronzong in the sky. With Yumi’s final declaration, Ricki’s head jerked back down to turn her frigid serious look to the red head. It had been a while since she had that kind of look in her eyes.
“Fine!” Ricki snapped, mostly to get Yumi to stop shouting at her. “If you’re so determined to help, then deal with the Weavile and Sableye. I can take care of the rest” she informed as her Pidgeot landed next to her. Ricki declared her orders to her team. “Rep, deal with the Sharpedo! Shield hang onto that Gyarados!” She turned to swing herself up onto the back of her bird and looked back briefly at the sound of the helicopter coming closer. Glaring in annoyance at the story hungry news crew, she turned her focus back forward and whistled once more. With a harsh thrust of her wings downwards, Ricki and Pidge took to the sky.
After seeing the Aqua members had chosen a Sharpedo and Tentacruel in a land based battle, she knew that could only mean that the other team would be spamming Surf in order to provide proper transportation for the fish. Staying on the ground wasn’t going to do her much good if water levels would suddenly be rising, but staying on Pidge’s back would slow the bird down. Guiding Pidge to the side, she slid off the bird’s back to land and roll before jerking to a stop on the top of a large moving van parked on the side of the street. Getting back up, she expected Yumi to follow and would have no qualms with pulling her to the higher ground. Ricki was vindictive, but not murderous. Surf water was not something you could simply swim in, especially in a battle. While she waited for Yumi to rush over, Ricki would call out “Pidge, handle the Tentacruel until Rep is done with jaws over there!”
After dropping off Ricki, Pidge the Pidgeot would take to the sky once more, and suddenly Yumi and Ricki’s Pokemon would feel an increase in their Speed as a result of Tailwind. As predicted, the waters would begin to swiftly escape the Gyarados, starting to flood the street but the waters would of course be careful to avoid sweeping away the Aqua grunts. Sticking to the sky, the Bronzong was firing off another Charge Beam at the suspended Gyarados as it released its waves of water via Surf. All of the previous Charge Beams were successfully increasing the force of his Special Attack powers, resulting in a stronger beam of electric energy with every shot this Gyarados would take. After that final charge beam, Shield would let out a loud gong as a white light escaped from him, cuing Safeguard taking effect to spare Yumi and Ricki’s Pokemon from any and all status effects that may take place.
From her place in the sky, the Pidgeot immediately locked in on the Tentacruel below. Bringing her wings suddenly close to her body, the bird would become a falling torpedo as she descended rapidly on the killer jellyfish. With a speedy Aerial Ace dive, Pidge smashed into the helmet of the Tentacruel and immediately flapped her wings to yank herself out of the poisonous Pokemon’s range. Rolling around and spinning around to face the Pokemon, she would let out a loud cry to make sure the Tentacruel was focused on her.
With the initial flow of the waves coming, Rep would scramble onto the roof of a nearby abandoned car. Upon climbing aboard, he would whip around to immediately lock on the Sharpedo in the rising waters. Even if the shark dove down, the Lucario’s aura detection abilities would allow him to track the Pokemon with ease. His paws would begin to give off a blue glow. With a guaranteed hit, the Lucario would shoot off a super effective Aura Sphere at the Sharpedo. After firing off what was most likely a OHKO, the Lucario’s legs would give off a brief pink glow courtesy of Agility. With new found speed on top of the Tailwind, Rep moved swiftly onto the top of another car to sweep in and help Pidge with the Tentacruel.
Quick Reminder: When a Pokemon is caught in Telekinesis it cannot dodge attacks. I let the two missed Charge Beams slide for this post, but just a reminder it won't work from now on.
I don't know the Move Sets of the Pokemon you spawned for the Rockets, so I left their counters open for you to determine. If you'd prefer I write out my own battles on my end, I can do so. The only thing I made one of their Pokemon do was use Surf so Sharpedo & Tentacruel weren't left to flop around on the cement.
Ricki has moved onto the top of a moving van and is prepped to pull Yumi up so she isn't swept away by the water flooding the street.

"Whatever you say." Yumi was glad enough to see Ricki was letting her go with some freedom to move. It was all she needed. In fact, now that she could see her colleges were ready to pull out the escape plan if needed. Good, no messing up for the boss man back at HQ. Right now though of course they had to make the battle look convincing, which meant Yumi didn't have to hold back anymore. "Trust me with this one okay? A sableye and a Weavile ain't exactly an issue, right guys?"
Ko-ken nodded confidently. While he held a stern expression, he and Enzo were secretly thrilled to beat the crap out of some of the rocket's pokemon. After their meeting with Albedo, they had began to grow a hatred for Yumi's boss. While they both understood her work was what kept her many pokemon fed, it was still aggravating nonetheless, and would result in them getting extra pumped for the battle.
"They're all yours guys, take 'em out!" Yumi seemed a little to eager herself, bringing looks of worry from her fellow rockets who though they themselves may be caught in the chaos of the battle. As if wanting to disperse some of the chaos from them, one of the rocket's called out for their pokemon to use surf, levelling out the playing field for them too. With the torrent of water coming towards her the red head Yumi darted her eyes to Ricki who seeme to know where she was going, swiftly chasing after. Not having the sense to climb up from the hood of the van, she darted up the side. Her years of Forest parkour in her home village helped her get some momentum going as she ran up the side, but the sudden grasp of Ricki's hand was certainly a big help. In fact, Yumi was a bit surprised by it, pleasently, of course~
"Heh...thanks for that...I owe ya one..." Her eyes turned back to the battle at hand. As the Sharpedo had an aura sphere headed it's way, it swiftly through up a protect, keeping itself safe for now, as well as the tentacruel that was so close by, easily enveloped by the same green forcefield, protecting it from the aerial ace.
Too busy and too troubled by creating the surf for his allies, the Gyrados was an easy target for the charge beam, and the two sharp stinging bursts of energy struck through him like pure lightning, near enough rendering him immobile and down for the count, the "aqua" who owned it angrily sucking it back in.
As for Yumi's own Pokemon, calhoon was easily swept up by the surf, and Yumi was quick to bring him back in, a red flash coming from the Van. "He ain't exactly good in a massive battle like this anyway." She smiled to Ricki, before turning her attention back to the others. Vashi was easily saved by his flight, but Ko-ken was swift enough to save himself by riding upon the back of the Charizard, who flew up and above the chaos. The fighter, near dragon, and bird glanced to eachother, and each knew their targets. As the Sableye gazed up at the rufflet and the weavile at the flying duo, the pokemon readied themselves to strike.
"Enzo! Ko-ken! Rocket launch combat! Vashi! Be brave!"
They knew their roles and took to them. Enzo flew in towards the Weavile, the cocky little ice type grinning as he prepared to strike, thrusting it's claws forward and unleashing an icy barrage with icy wind. It hardly mattered to the fire type as he wouldn't be the one to take it. Grabbing Ko-ken off his back, he pulled a loop-de loop before releasing the Sawk, giving it extra momentum as it flew towards the ice and dark type with a flurry of fists in the form of close combat.
Meanwhile, Vashi ha already begun his own decent, smiling confidently, even as the Sableye fire off powered gems towards him. The bird moved swiftly through the attack thanks to the tail wind of the other trainer's pokemon, dashing in and out of the barrage until a bright light enveloped him, readying a brave bird strike.
In the mean time, the tentacruel and Sharpedo seemed to know who they face. With the protect shield fading, they unleashed their attacks. Swimming in the surf, Sharpedo aimed to use crunch on the bronzong, where as the Tentacruel tried to extend it's tentacles to reach out and bind the flying type's wings.

They had their goals in order, and they were getting achieved, all without Yumi screwing up. Before she knew it, cops were asking questions, crowds were muttering amongst themselves, and Yumi was suddenly dragged into an alley by a pissed looking Ricki, entirely caught off guard* Ow! W-what do you mean!? I-I'm just passing through!
