elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

YUMI'S BEACH
BATTLE BANZAI
So, you guys thought the recent tournament would be the only excuse you got to kick the crud out of eachother for prizes all year? Didn't ya? Think again boys and girls. Yumi got yo back! This summer for many people will have sun, sand, and beach parties, but what good is that for us rpers? It gives us an excuse to ROLEPLAY beach parites of course!
Now, you may be wandering, what does your good ol speedy gon yumi, miss one percent, and handler of the mountain of threads, have in store for you this summer? Well in case the title didn't sum it up, here's your setting to have fun with.
Setting:With some free time after the tournament, her early knock out leaving the rockets with no chance to find some new work for her to do, she decided to put any money she earned from the minor publicity to use. With a desire to grow as a trainer, but at the same time, watch some amazing battles. As such, she sets up her own mini tourney upon the beach south of slateport city, offering her own prizes, and setting up her own rounds.
Basic rules: Have fun. .... Okay, but seriously, I do have a few rules for this tournament.
Battle Banzai is 1 v 1! ~Unless I specify otherwise, each round is a single battle with one pokemon per trainer. You can use any pokemon from your PC, and it does not have to carry into following rounds.
No OVERKILL! ~This tournament is all in good fun. No annihilating your opponents in your first move. Keep your battle style as fun and light hearted as your character will allow. Anyone who believes this rule is being broken may contact me.
Intro post REQUIRED. ~So we know you're all here, a post of you finding out about the tournament must be made as your sign up. The into thread will be found here. Deadline for entry is the 20th of June
Prepare for tricks! To heighten fun from the plain arena of the tourney, each round will have a unique beach theme to it. This could be a new fighting area, a secondary goal beyond beating your opponent, or something crazy!~ Be prepared.
OH! And before I forget, get yoselves some appropriate beach wear!I wanna see some bikini babes! *SHOT*
Now, for what you were all waiting for
PRIZES! Unlike other tourneys were only semi finalists and above get a reward, everyone has a chance to earn a boon from the start. Each win gets you an immediate reward, and they shall be as follows.
- Opening round (in the case of more than 8 entrants) 25 dots to each winner! - Opening rounds official (8 entrants / 8 remain) 50 dots to each winner! - Semi finals (4 remaining) 100 dots to each winner! -And for the finalist winner.... *drumroll* 500 dots AND Yumi's spare Ketstone! (Those who already have a keystone are free to request another reward. If deemed reasonable, it will be provided)

Round 1 rules!
The actual rules of the round will not be explained here, but what will be explained is the layout. With 11 competitors, 3 need to be eliminated to widdle us down to the usual 8, to fix this issue, I decided to try something that quite a few contestants seemed interested in!~
3 WAY ROUND
While 11 still can't be divided by 3, we will instead work it as so...
3 x three way rounds 1 x single round
Ya still follow? Good.
The three way round will include 3 trainers duking it out for the win, but this is not a case of who wins moves on. Instead, it will work as such.
First to be knocked out of the battle is out of the tournament
Second to be knocked out continues, but will not earn that rounds prize
Winner earns 25 dots PLUS a macho brace!
As for the single round, no one will be eliminated, but the winner earns the same prize.
I look forward to seeing you all begin once I set up the battle threads!~

RECALL Sorry for how short this post is, but I really just need to get this done and out of the way.
Please post here if you want this tournament to continue. I will only be tagging those who were not disqualified from their rounds. Lyro and Pop are tagged too even though their round still has yet to begin. Also, if you won your round, please mention in your post just so I can easily dish rewards out.

Well. We already got trimmed down to the smaller number, we just need to pick up some more steam. (of course I'm not going to let this battle go to waste bc I've got eyes on the main prize!)
Also, Rikkan got 2 bandanas and I still have mine. ;p

I am very interested in seeing this through, and with any hope, winning. I would have a whale of a time with that Keystone. And I technically won, but I wouldn't call that much of a victory.
