Walking onto the farm, Jerry rubbed the back of his neck as he wandered about. Lucas had pointed out that it was a little bit late to go out and buy an egg, recommending Jerry go in the morning instead, but it was already too late because here he was. Looking around, the lights were off in most of the places and part of him wondered if maybe Lucas was right again. Perhaps all the farm hands had already gone to bed? Still, despite this train of thought, the street rat ventured further anyways towards the barn where the eggs were kept. He tried to stay quiet, thinking that if people were asleep, he’d rather not wake them up and cause some kind of panic attack. If people were sleeping, he’d just leave and come back tomorrow like Lucas had originally suggested he do.
As he pushed open the door to the barn though, he didn’t really see anyone, again. The lights were on, though, keeping various eggs warm he could see. Walking inside, he looked around the eggs, eyeing the stock before spotting the one he had come for. A Slowpoke egg, Ariel wouldn’t mind a bro, he was sure. Not seeing anyone yet, maybe if he just waited long enough someone would return? In the meantime, he did want to get a good look at the egg’s details, so picking up the Slowpoke egg, he carefully eyed the shell before hearing a rustling nearby. Humming curiously and setting the egg back down, he turned towards the noise only to see no one was there. However, when he turned back forward, an angry glare would meet his bewildered green gaze.
“Oh hey, little guy… What are you doing up at this hou—He-Hey! What are you doin—No!”
Jerry did not make it back to Lucas that night, and the next morning, Elizabeth Maxwell would walk into her farm to the awkward sight of Jerry tied to a post in the barn by a Legendary Weedle’s grand String Shot. His arm stuck to the post, and him just sitting beside it looking disgruntled, he waited for the woman to look at him and commented “I just came here to buy a Slowpoke egg, ma’am, so if you could just call off the guard worm, that’d be great.” Before pointing over towards the Weedle sitting next to him, ready for round two should Jerry try anything.

She was so incredibly happy. Both her little darling Epona and her cuddly baby Carbonaro had evolved, right around the same time. Now, she had these responsible adults in the farm helping her out with work – she was so overjoyed that she had given them both two weeks off, to Carbonaro’s dismay: poor little guy was a workaholic. Even now, some time after their evolution, she was still pampering them. Carbonaro might be a bit of a McGrumpy like Rhafiel, but he couldn’t resist her specialy-tailored herbs and spices dumplings that she made for him. Even as she was supoosed to be technically preparing for a breeding, she was still baking.
As she molded the dough, she directed Marble. ”Yes, cuddly-poo, just take the Pokemon out to the barn and I’ll take care of the hard work, I promise. And keep that Weedle out from there. We don’t need another repetition of that horrible, horrible embarrassment. Carbonaro, it’s your and Morpheus’s turn to deal with the Lord of the Worms.” she ordered off as she placed the dough in the baking sheet.
There was ice cream to be had, and Unnur couldn't wait to pick it up, even if she had to travel across Bosky again for it. Ice cream was worth it. Particularly if it was vanilla-flavoured, as she had heard this was. Unnur remembered those Casteliacones she had tried one day when she was around the zone, and her mouth became watery almost instantly. She was sure Prince and Manny, behaving like they should inside their respective pokéballs, felt the same way when they tried it. Nori, her Cloyster, had been reluctant to try them in comparison, but Unnur attributed that to her disliking sweets altogether and was sure that she wouldn't mind this new addition to their team as long as she didn't have to lick it. She would make sure no licking happened, at least.
It was with this resolution in mind that she stepped into Aselia Farms territory, looking for any guides to her new ice cream. Sadly, what she had hoped would already be a piece of really good icream had ended up being only an egg, not yet hatched and in effect only recently laid. "Thanks anyway," she said under her breath. She didn't lose her manners despite her obvious disappointment. The topic of manners suddenly reminded her of a certain blue-haired friend of hers and of a favour she had asked of Unnur. "Oh!" she exclaimed in realisation. "I also came for a... fishie egg. Um. I don't remember what it was exactly. A... Chinchou, I think? Maybe an Inkay? Could you lead me to any eggs reserved under the name Erin Caulfield?"

Akira was in search of a good Flying-type Pokemon to add to her team. Since her trip out into the wilds didn't quite work out, she decided to try the Breeding Bazaar instead. When she remembered that Elizabeth had a ranch of her own, she decided to check it out. That was when she saw it; a Skarmory Egg. Skarmory was pretty much one of the greatest things ever in her book, so there was no way she could pass up. Looking around until she spotted Elizabeth, she called out to her. "Hey, Elizabeth? How much for this Skarmory Egg?"
Even a blind person would be able to see how excited she was. She always had been rather easily excited though, so this probably wouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Even though the two of them haven't really spoken much since Akira joined the Interpol, she tended to be pretty easy to read.

Tobias looked around sheepishly as he approached the breeding facility. He was not even sure if he had come to the right place, but based on the scenery, he was probably right.
It was a quiet sort of institution. He did not notice any people nearby. He continued his approach until he came upon one of the small buildings. Not being familiar with the site whatsoever, he was cautious not to go anywhere that seemed off-limits, but a dome-shaped structure painted to look like a pokemon's face was probably pretty welcoming.
He entered inside and looked around. There was no one in the immediate room.
He spoke, "Hello? My name is Tobias. I'm here about an inkay, and a sableye. Am I in the right place?"
He shuffled around a bit as he looked around. He hoped that somebody had heard him. The last thing he wanted was to discover that he had come to the wrong facility.

So she had heard that someone wanted a Ponyta Egg. It was going to take some time to get her darling Epona to get back to the farm, since she had gone off in one of her galloping days. Ever since the darling Epona evolved from a Ponyta to a Rapidash, she was much more brave and social, that was true, but she was also much more energetic, which meant she could go for a whole day galloping on the prairie before getting back to the main farm. She needed Epona, though – the Fire-Type had the specific Egg Moves that were desired, and she wasn’t going to give less than the desired performance.
”Epona, darling, I need you to come back now, BEFORE nightfall.” She called out in the fields, Marble chuckling to herself as she munched on some lush grass. ”I know you like galloping, but I need your help, honey!”
It took about 2 more hours before she was able to get her back.

”Matthew! How dare you?! Poor little Epona doesn’t deserve that kind of treatment! You apologize right now, young Bouffalant!” The Breeder scolded harshly, her normally sweet voice somehow filled with anger. It was a strange sight, seeing her berating someone like she was, but it was Matthew, so it was common. The Normal-Type rolled its eyes and kept munching, while the Fire-Type stayed in the barn, annoyed at the situation. This was going to take some work. Elizabeth soon threatened to take away the Bouffalant’s food if he kept behaving so badly, causing the Normal-Type to attempt to ram her.
Which only resulted in Elizabeth’s Miltank, Marble, to jump out of nowhere and match his charge with a Rollout, knocking him back and giving him ad death stare. The Breeder raised her arms and kerfuffled in frustration, going to take a break. Why was Matthew so difficult? He needed to learn to behave.

She was pulling favors. She always was. It was the way that Breeders worked. Without that network of "you scratch my back, I scratch yours," Breeders would get nothing done. In fact, they had history to prove that. When Breeders got into economic feuds with each other, not sharing, not helping, they would often just sink their own businesses. They were there to help people fosters families and share the joy of Pokemon - the money was nice. but that wasn't the point. That was why the GES was there - to avoid people going into economic empires.
And so she wrote into her tally how she needed to work a favor for this Professor Symphonia. He was always nice to her. Then again, she'd been nice to him.

She looked at the farm reports. Grim. Her face was turned down, a grimace spreading all over it. How did she do that bad? Was there an issue with the bred Pokemon? Did she forget something? This had to be her fault - she hadn't had such an issue breeding since the Abra incident.
Was she cursed by the Abra family of Pokemon?
Might be. Still, she couldn't let this push her down. She had a new harvest, and that would hold up sales and income until she could get breeding back down. Everyone had a bad week, right?
Right?
"Marble, deary, do get me the Poke Balls for those breedings again. We're going to succeed, or my name isn't Maxwell!" She announced to her Miltank, who rolled her eyes as she did her assigned job. She loved Elizabeth, but boy, was she prone to overreaction.

This was good.
Vincent had become aware of a rare opportunity to purchase a rare and wonderful pokemon through his contacts: A unique Abra, to be specific. Already somewhat of an afficianado who loved to raise psychic types as is (as he was currently raising a pair of solosis) this was an opportunity that he could not pass up. Yes, the price was steep, but it was well worth the cost.
