elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Tobias Foster
Overview
Tobias seeks power. His goal is to improve himself, and to become the strongest trainer he can be. He is mostly aimless in achieving this – in his mind, he is forging his own path, and holds no concern for where his journey may take him. If he benefits, then it is worth his time. He holds himself to a high regard, and thinks himself better than most others. He is a neutral man, and while he may have contempt for what he defines as evil, he will allow little to get between him and his goals. Many would consider him to be an immoral man, as he often allows his desires to dictate his judgment. His definition of good is a question of whether something aligns with his interests.
Friends
Tobias is a detached, introverted man. He is not drawn to social settings, and reaches out to people only if he believes he can gain from them. However, he is not totally antisocial, and is perfectly capable of warming up to those close to him.

Enemies
Tobias makes enemies quite easily. He is judgmental, and impatient. While he does his best to keep to himself, he is never hesitant to confront anyone who he judges to be an obstacle to him. His blunt way of presenting himself is often off-putting to others.
Roxas Strife
Lovers
Tobias has no lovers. He is heterosexual, but he has never been close enough to a girl for a relationship to manifest. Though, he is capable of affection, and would be willing to pursue a relationship, granted the girl reflects his interests and desires.
To Distant Horizons
The first step of Tobias's journey was to flee his home region, Unova. He arrived in Nue with a sneasel, a bisharp, and whatever he could fit in the overhead storage. He found a place to stay in the suburbs of Tynntill Town, and began exploring the region. His first footsteps as a trainer were mostly aimless, and he spent a substantial amount of time training in the wilds. After much effort and determination, Tobias managed to evolve his team. Now his sights are set on expanding his team, and beginning the challenges of the pokemon league.

Okay, so, Tobias seems to be an intriguing character, a sociopath? Well this is something that can possibly be seen as a physical threat to our young Prince, Cecil. But really, perhaps he can meet the soon-to-be Ghost Gym Leader and possibly develop his first friend with Cecil?
Okay, so, Tobias seems to be an intriguing character, a sociopath? Well this is something that can possibly be seen as a physical threat to our young Prince, Cecil. But really, perhaps he can meet the soon-to-be Ghost Gym Leader and possibly develop his first friend with Cecil?
Sociopaths are not to be confused with psychopaths. The former does not necessarily imply violence, but rather detachment from other people. Tobias is a new trainer now, so he would probably need to train considerably in order to defeat Cecil, but sure, I'm willing for them to become friends. It seems like they might be able to connect on some personality traits.
Character: Alicia Laufey Region: Nue Location: Currently in Bayondaville, but she's a nomad and moves around constantly so she can go anywhere with ease Thread: Not really sure what this means?.. sorry! Role Call: Possibly becoming friends (eventually) Summary: Welp.
Alice is the opposite of Tobias on most aspects. Bubbly and outgoing, poetic but not as profound as she'd like to be, whimsical and carefree, adventurous and expressive (to the point where nobody tells her secrets anymore, as her expressions, body language, and words easily and unintentionally give them away)--that's her in a nutshell. The moment she meets Tobias and gets the gist of his personality, she'll hound him all day in an attempt to get him to open up. "Sunshine and rainbows and butterflies!" she'll say. "The world is just begging to be explored! Most people are actually a lot cooler than you'd think they'd be! Become one with nature!" or some other cheesy hippie/environmentalist quotes like that.
I can imagine that Tobias would be extremely annoyed with her and probably view her as just another naive idiot who hasn't experienced the darker aspects of the world yet. As they meet up more and more often, though, maybe Tobias would get used to her flowery presence and even start to warm up to her?

Yes, I like the sound of that. I think it will be interesting to see them interact.
