Seeing as the requests were now steadily picking up speed, Kouji decided to dedicate the two slots he had left for the week for some “gift-giving”. After hatching a plan with other people (and agreeing to go along with it) he decided to pool together the best that he could—and now that things were finally starting to settle down in some sort of a “routine”, he could get used to having such a large expanse of space all around for his own use. Grinning, he then began juggling four PokeBalls, already hatching “the plan” in his mind. All of the ‘mons that he was going to use this time around—with one technicality—were all his; so there was no need to dip in and ask the hot-headed Fire Lady if he could borrow her shit for the time being.
“Well, better than nothing,” he began, chuckling as he approached a rather private expanse of grass—before letting two of his own, an Absol and an Ursaring, emerge. “Alright, Naito, Karu… do your worst. Or best. Whatever, well just try not to kill each other,” he said with a chuckle, before hightailing it out of the place; and taking a turn before finally finding the path leading down to one of the freshwater streams that littered the giant property. Here, in the shallows, he then sent out his old Horsea, as well as his own female Feebas—well, the Horsea used to belong to him, but in any case… “Hi Karitt… and Haniel. This is weird, but… yeah, you know what to do,” he said with another grin, before leaving the two alone. Now all he could do was wait…and hope that things went to plan!

It was pretty rare for Kouji to get a request for someone other than his benefactor—or what he suspected to be his benefactor’s “significant other”. So one can just basically imagine his surprise when the order had come in, sent to his private number, asking for a breeding between a Cacnea that was of the feminine gender and a Hitmonchan that was going to be lent to him for the rather interesting venture, he could only grin as he waited for the Transporter to go off. Once the PokeBall containing the Hitmonchan had dropped in and appeared in the strange contraption, he then scooped it up before heading out to the rather vast grounds and began his search for the Cacnea.
Several minutes later, he then finally managed to find the Cacnea, who was hanging around the reinstalled “Grappling Rock” out on the vast stretch of land; and after several minutes of coaxing, finally let out the Hitmonchan, who then promptly made a beeline for the gigantic slab of rock and began to hack away at it. “Narya, let him get tired out first, then go ahead and what you must… okay?” he said with another chuckle; before leaving the two to their own devices. In the back of his mind, however, he was contemplating—how on earth were two vastly-different Pokémon were going to actually pull this off? Put it down to genetics… were his last thoughts as he escaped the area and waited for the outcome.

Now that the rather “unusual” breeding attempt had gone off without a hitch, he was then shocked to see that he’d gotten three eggs out of the attempt. He knew that one of them was reserved, and that the other one would be possibly picked up by a certain individual, so he then decided to move off two eggs to the “Reserved” section of the nursery where his Chansey held supreme domain, fluffing up two of the “nests” with some hay and carefully setting the eggs there. He knew that the interested individuals would come by later to pick up the eggs—he had to get to two of these breeding requests before he got swamped for the New Year celebrations. Surprisingly, there was only one request from Josh this time around—while the other one was from Thomas, and ironically both of them were asking for rare ‘mons to be bred.
Well, I hope I get a roll of three for each of these, otherwise I’m dead, he began, quickly shuffling around and looking for the requisite Pokemon out on the vast expanse of land. He knew that the Larvesta finally had a suitable partner for breeding, but it was the Druddigon he was worried about. He actually had a rather nice plan going—but after consulting the list of egg groups, he had to backtrack—and actually hit his head on a nearby post, because Flygon wasn’t in the Dragon egg group—even if by all technicalities it was a “pseudo-dragon” in its own right. Sighing all the same, he then managed to find the four ‘mons he needed—he had to let his Galvantula loose after a while—and then left them in private spots, so that they wouldn’t be disturbed while the nasty was going on.

and that seals off my breeding requests for Christmas week

With Miguel being busy with the holidays and establishing the company over in Nue, it was up to his trusty employees to pick up eggs in other regions if the breeders didn't request him to be there personally to pick it up. Arceus knows why they didn't just send it over using transporter technology but Raphael wasn't being paid to question such inefficiencies. There was a group in the tech department that dealt with that and he was just an errand boy in the marketing department so he wouldn't know jack about it.
Plus, they also didn't want to have the boss do it himself since they didn't want to incur the wrath of his personal assistant for depriving her of him during the holidays right after he had been absent for weeks on end due to work in Kalos. The last fool who tried still had nightmares about what she did before Miguel was able to stop her.
Women were so crazy. He was so glad he was single.
"Sir? Hello? What did you want?" He was shocked back into reality by the voice of the cashier lady. Right. Business.
"Sorry about spacing out. I'm a representative of Mr. Miguel Hidalgo. I believe that you had two Cacnea eggs as Christmas presents for the man?"

She knew that the last-minute rushing wouldn’t cease, so after grabbing the Litleo egg, she found herself…back in front of a familiar structure. She knew that her sponsor had attempted to reconstruct it as it had looked while its home base of operations was still in Humilau, Unova—and she could only smirk at the sight in front of her. Well, he came pretty close. But at least now he has more “wiggle room” this time around, she thought to herself as she then crossed the front lawn of the “new” location of his Ranch. Snickering slightly to herself, because she knew he preferred the peace and quiet as opposed to a fellow Breeder’s chaotic location, she then headed towards the door, and without so much as a knock, made her way inside.
After all, it’s by due technicalities that I sort-of own the place… right? She began to herself as she then made a beeline for the counter and immediately rang the lone bell that stood there, wondering if she’d meet his crazy assistant today. She’d already sent a message ahead, informing him to hang on to one of those three Cacnea eggs—because it was her Narya that he’d borrowed in order to be able to complete the breeding—and waited for the heavily-accented guy to drop by and deliver the goods. After all, even Breeders were busy, especially during times like these.

Post by Thomas Thaddeus on Dec 28, 2014 9:51:15 GMT -5
When Thomas heard that he had gotten yet another egg that had to be picked up from Kouji, Izumi's friend, the trainer immediately rushed over to his ranch. Unfortunately, he was very last minute in getting the egg, having been busy arranging everything for the move to the Nue Region, but he still managed to reach the man's ranch a day before the egg was due to hatch. The trainer could only hope Kouji wasn't pissed off with how long he took to pick up the egg.
The trainer walked over to the desk, seeing a young man about his age manning the counter.
"My name is Thomas Thaddeus. I was told by someone that there was an egg in my name.", Thomas told the boy directly.
"Alright, lemme check here...", the boy said as he checked the clipboard for his name.
"There you are! Yes, the Larvesta egg comes at no charge to you. Lemme just grab it from the back...", the boy said to the now surprised trainer, walking off to get the egg.
Thomas was now wondering who it was that not only got him a Larvesta egg, but at no charge to boot. Not that he was complaining, it was a great Pokemon, but still.
"Here you are, enjoy your egg~", the boy said to Thomas.
"Thank you, and have a nice day.", Thomas told him before leaving with his new egg.

"Crap, late again" Josh said as he stepped into Sakuraba Ranch, after test-driving his new motorcycle. This time, it seemed to be hovering smoothly, though if it could handle long distance travel, he wasn't sure. For now though, he would enter, Lightning on his shoulder, and request the Druddigon egg that had been bred for him awhile ago. "Sorry I'm late" He said, scratching his head with a laugh. "Things are really busy with getting ready for the move. I'm sure I'll see you guys again soon when we're all set to move though!" He said to the assistant as he headed out. He had been home for a few weeks, with occasional traveling, in order to help get the ranch ready for moving. He couldn't stay long.

There really was no rest for the wicked—in this case, with things getting so close to the New Year, Kouji was still finding himself rather busy; getting the new place all cleared up and ready for official business. Of course, that meant his contacts would eventually get access to the slots he had first; and he knew that one of the “preferred clientele” was on a hunt for Dragons—or Dergans, as they were called in this newfangled place. He could only scratch his head out of surprise though—how the hell was he going to get all the cooking and food ready for the New Year if he still had work to get to? He then checked his mobile phone just to make sure he had all the details ironed out—and then an eyebrow went up; why was Josh looking for a Skrelp, of all things?
He could only scratch his head as he went to the temporary aquarium that they’d set up—at least until the construction for the man-made freshwater lake was done, the aquarium was a temporary thing for the Water-types who couldn’t stand being out of the “fluid of life” for more than five minutes at a time. The funny thing here was that there were two tanks—one that had salt water, the other had fresh water. Currently, both tanks were empty, so he had to go over to the PC storage before inputting a certain string of commands—something he hadn’t done in a long time. He then averted his gaze to the Transporter, which then dropped in two containment units—ironically containing his own Pokémon. “Eh, beggars can’t be choosers,” he began, before heading back to the room where the Aquarium was located, and letting the contents of the two to roam free in the water.
The first one was the weird, not-seahorse thing which he called Kaidra; while the second one was the actual seahorse, named Ira—the extremely temperamental Horsea who was way sassier than his benefactor’s Milotic. Arceus help me, he thought to himself as the female Horsea then gave the Skrelp a rather withering glare. “Now now, Ira. Be nice to Kai,” were his last words, before leaving the two alone to do their own thing.

There really and truly was no rest for the wicked, as Kouji had received a sudden order from his benefactor about some more of the little brown fox-like things that loved to change shape. Either she wants all of them to raise for herself or there is something seriously wrong here… he thought with a chuckle as he then went over to the Transporter in order to be able to retrieve the two that he was going to use. This time around he was going to be using two of the ‘mons he’d used in a previous attempt; hopefully something good could come out of this. He knew that one of his benefactor’s weird brown things had evolved—or so it seemed—and that she was now busy raising the other four. “But why get all of them now?” he could only ask himself out loud, clutching the two containment units in hand, before securing the necessary preparations.
He then chuckled, as another message popped into his mobile phone, asking for him to oversee a planned breeding—however he would be having a little…interaction in order to be able to get the other moves. His eyebrows then shot up, once he’d noticed what the exact request was… and then chuckled. “Oh, boy. I hope I get this right… I better contact the man who has the Smearge I’m going to borrow, then…” he said to himself as he made his way out back and released the Vulpix and Eevee from their containment units—in order for them to get some fresh air; and for them to do their thing. “Alright… call Neili if something comes up, okay?” he said with a chuckle as he gave Kurama the Vulpix a chin tickle, before scratching the Eevee’s ears as he left the scene.

She could only guess as to why she’d received a late-night message from a certain ash-haired Breeder stating that there was something waiting for her in the morning. Wondering just what the hell he was up to again, Izumi then decided to make her way over to the Ranch (which she was sponsoring from the sidelines) and check out the little thing that he’d said he’d leave for her. Imagine the surprise on her face, though, when she saw that there was a note on the front desk asking for her to go to the Nursery room so that she could see the little “thing” that was left behind for her. Wondering what the hell he was up to, she then hopped beyond the divider that separated the crowd from the counter, and then traced her steps into the Nursery—and saw that there were three eggs in there.
Two of them had a weird, purplish look about them, but it was the brown egg that had caught her attention. Reading the note once more to make sure that she had it correct, she then blinked as she realized what it was—it was an Eevee egg, alright! “Well, talk about…” she chuckled with a smirk on her face, before slowly sneaking into the Nursery proper itself, the better to pat the brownish egg on the hearth. The room was heated, a bit stuffy, but otherwise it was manageable. Grinning to herself, she could only guess if this was another part of the late Christmas presents he had forgotten to get her, but then again, who knew what he was thinking?
