elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Thankfully, Altair still had some time left before he had to fly off to Kalos yet again. At least Maria wasn't having a conniption this time since he swore that he was going to stay in civilization this time and that if he had to go out of civilization then he would take dependable pokemon with him. He'd learned his lesson after that disastrous trip with Wilbur that led to him getting lost for days just because his Phanpy didn't know how to track.
Yeah, that had been a headache to deal with. At least the little guy learned his lesson now. Hopefully anyway.
But first, he had some work to do. Even with the event looming in the horizon his business never really stopped for anything these days. Of course, booming business was always a good thing so he couldn't complain now could he?

A rather large, muscular woman entered the doors, her shimenawa ring and body just barely fitting through it. "Hail, sir." She politely stated, though her voice was BARELY able to be categorized as 'indoors'. t was just her nature to be fairly loud, it seemed.
She approached the counter, looking about the breeding business. As it was, it seemed as though she hadn't been to one for years. The woman then addressed the man ever so courteously. "I heard that you had a Mienfoo egg for a discount of fifteen dots. I'd like to purchase it, please."
Admittedly, she found it rather abhorrent at first, breeding and selling offspring. Then again, she supposed that if the parents were willing and understood the consequences, then it was perfectly fine,in a way. They'd go to trainers to take care of them, and everybody was happy, correct? ...Still itched the back of her mind, though.

It had been a while since Evangeline had last left Kalos. Ever since she'd appeared in one of Lumiose's most popular magazines among teens just a couple of months ago, new job offers had been raining down on her like never before. Her schedule was tiresome, but—for the young lavender-haired girl—infinitely rewarding. Sometimes, while walking down the street, a person would recognise her and a few oohs of surprise and admiration folowed after her wake. Evangeline's favourites were those who approached to share a word with her, of course, but given the small scale of her fame that wasn't as recurrent. Still, it was an advance towards her dreams that she wouldn't have believed possible only half a year ago.
Evangeline's only regret was having neglected her coordinator career because of modelling. Not only had she not been able to participate in the last interregional contest hosted in Lilycove, but she'd also completely neglected her search for new Pokémon for her team. "I need to remedy this," she had told Sif one day they had returned earlier than usual to her flat. Even if she didn't have the time to look for them herself anymore, she could look for sellers online. Breeders, even. It was only a quarter of an hour later that she'd discovered one being put on tentative sale. Without even a second glance, she offered to buy it, and requested it be sent to her storage system.

Another free egg from the Gardens of Bablyon? Miguel chuckled to himself as he moved through the throngs of people again like the pro that he was. That Altair Stavros (or should he say Walter Heydrich) knew how to keep his end of the deal. He could always appreciate honestly and realness, especially when it came to celebrities.
Of course, that may just be the devil on his shoulder talking because it was easier to pull people's strings when he knew that they would be honest. Not that he was going to mention that to anyone else but himself but the thought still counted.
He pushed the rest of those thoughts out of his mind when he finally reached the counter and gave another charming smile to the receptionist. This time, the receptionist blushed and smiled back at him.
"Hello there. I am Miguel Hidalgo. I'm not quite sure if you remember me but Monsieur Stavros had a free Sableye egg and Beldum egg under my name."

He knew that his benefactor was up to something; and he’d practically had a nightmare over what she wanted—but promised that there would be an even fatter Christmas bonus waiting for him in his bank account if he’d agreed to do what she was asking him to. No, more like wheedling, bribing, and practically blackmailing… but… yeah… guess it can’t be helped. That’s a freaking Fire-type I’ve never seen before… he mused to himself as he then looked for his fellow Breeder’s Ranch, the Gardens of Babylon, and then cutting through the seemingly rushing crowd of people who were making their way in and out of the premises. Knowing that this Ranch was a complete contrast to his own serene grounds, he had to get in, make the deal, and get the hell out of there as fast as possible before anything too stupid happened.
As he then fought his way through the crowd that was jostling around, he then looked around to see if he’d be able to get to the mysterious breeder in order to discuss this “thing” that he’d been practically wheedled into doing. “Ugh,” he groaned, almost bumping into someone as he finally wiggled through the area and made his way to the counter, before ringing the bell. “Uhh, is the Breeder in charge here? I have a few things to discuss with him in private…” he continued, before digging into the pocket of his jeans and bringing out the very last piece of weird-ass candy that he was hanging on to. He’d always deeply regretted buying only five of them; but now that he was a lot more stable, hell he could buy a hundred if he wanted to, just because he could afford it now. In any case, he then reached for a piece of paper, before scribbling down the details and then folding it, before placing the weird candy atop it. “Please make sure that this reaches your boss, it’s for something that we’ve discussed in private.”
Trading over Kouji's final gender-bending candy in order to acquire a Fennekin breeding for Izumi. Other details privately discussed and agreed upon by both parties.

As the event drew near, Altair was getting busier and busier. It was as if their customers knew that he had to go back to Kalos soon and that this place will be left to his assistants while he was gone. Admittedly, they would be right. The question is how they got the information. He would have to ask if his assistants posted an announcement about that or something after he finished with this week's breedings.
Of course, he had a third one to figure out but he supposed he had time to do so while matchmaking and doing the rest of the preparations. Once again the pokemon to be used were mostly that of his benefactor's so they were a bit more rebellious and unruly when it came to him. The more stubborn ones tend to scar the employees for life, even!
But whatever the case was,he had breedings to do and he had to do them now. He could think of ways to explain why his benefactor's Fennekin changed genders later and why he had allowed it.

Once Izumi had been notified that her “special request” was processed—by way of a text coming from a certain Breeder—she then set out, tucking two Incubators under her arms. She preferred to bring her own as to letting them give her more; and besides, she had to take them over to Kouji’s place soon afterwards so that his Chansey could take care of them until they hatched. As she made her way into the rather packed and crowded Gardens of Babylon once more, she then saw that there were quite a number of people hustling about, waiting for eggs to grab, business to transact, the usual noisy slog. As soon as she’d managed to wiggle her way to the front counter, she then set down the two Incubators, before saying, “I’m here for one of the Fennekins and one of the Mawiles. I’ve already sent payment to the necessary parties.”
She then waited for one of the assistants to get the Incubators and then hustled over to where the eggs were apparently housed; whistling as she waited for the two containers to return back to her. Several minutes later, two loaded Incubators made their way back to her, before scooping them up and then giving them a salute. “Thanks, and tell your boss to have a happy holiday,” before squirming her way through the crowd and making her way out of the Ranch and heading over to her own sponsor’s place so that she could drop off the eggs.

Apparently Altair still didn't have any idea as to how he was going to impart egg moves onto the Eevee and the Drilbur eggs he was planning to breed. Of course, there was his army of Smeargles he could use but the question was what he would want them to copy and pass on to their offspring.
While he was thinking about it, he decided to go through with a third breeding in order to do a chain that he always wanted to do. It involved two of his own pokemon this time so there was no need to borrow that psychotic Gengar his benefactor had. Frankly that thing was a bad influence to his pokemon so he made sure to borrow it as little as possible. He didn't need further mental trauma, thank you very much.
Now to breed the Gastly and Misdreavus....

Axel had a big order of Pokemon to bring back with him. He'd heard that one of his fellow breeders was selling a few Pokemon that he had his eye on for the Farm. Slipping into the building, he looked around a bit before heading right to the counter. The Fletchling on his shoulder spread her wings, flapping them just a little bit before she settled down. Axel gave a polite smile to the man behind the counter, reaching back to run a finger along Pyre's head, clearly a little nervous.
"I-I-I h-h-heard th-that y-you have a-a few Po-Pokemon f-for s-s-sale," he said as clearly as he could. Considering his job, one would think he'd be able to talk to people, but nope, he still couldn't speak clearly. He busied himself with pulling dots from his wallet to pay for the three Pokemon that he wanted, laying it all down on the counter. "I'd l-l-like th-the R-Remoraid, Ka-Karrablast, a-a-and th-the B-Binacle."

Marie was getting a bit antsy while her boss was away. It wasn't like she had a crush on him or anything -even though she was sure that most of the female staff of the Gardens of Babylon had crushes on him if they weren't gay- but the last time he was gone for an extended period of time he had managed to get himself lost in the Badlands of his grandmother's homeland. Of course, it was the only time when he had encountered true trouble but she couldn't help but worry anyway. He was still her boss (not his grandfather like the old man often claimed) and the one handling her pay. Plus he was easier to tolerate than the old man.
In order to remove the worries from her mind -because surely she was just being silly- she decided to handle the breedings for the week in her boss' place. She was already used to it so it was no skin off her nose. All she needed was to find the aphrodisiacs....
