Out shopping in the neighborhood and lo and behold, she found a breeder with Ralts eggs for sale. They were also advertised for having an egg move, whatever that means... "I wonder if that makes them special..." She wondered for a moment before the blond finally walked into the shop. "I heard you had a Ralts egg for sale. I'LL Take it for 80 dots!"

Was that too much? Or too little? She didn't know, but it was daddies money, she was sure he wouldn't mind if she used it for a gift for her brother. His birthday was coming up, and she felt she needed to make it up to him for throwing him into that Valentines Day event.

Hemlock didn't wait too long to return. She came back after what she figured would be an appropriate amount of time for her Shuppet to.... uh, get to work. As per her normal cautious nature, she entered, dots in hand, ready to pay whatever was needed to claim on of the eggs for client purposes. Or maybe she was keeping a psychic/ghost egg for herself, who really knew? Either way, the young coordinator entered the building, handed over the dots, and took an egg with her on her merry way.

Altair was happy to see that there were already some customers for the Ralts and Shuppet he had bred. The price one of them had offered was beyond excessive, but as soon as he was about to reject that much money for the Ralts he was suddenly glared at by his cousin and Cyrano, his Murkrow, both of whom pointed to his grandfather's office.

So with a mental sigh, he was forced to let the customer pay what they wanted if it were higher than the default price. "Of course. Just go over to my cashier and my assistant and process it over with them." He said as he gestured over to said people.

He would have done it himself normally, but he had been tasked with a special breeding that was asked of him at the very last minute, so he was going to be busy the entire day watching and supervising it. After all it wouldn't do to displease the benefactor. Time to breed the Shellder and the Corsola again.

One new message!

Zernebog raised an eyebrow at the email message he had gotten from the blond breeder in Unova. Was it another case of one of his family members using his pokemon to breed something again? It might be because he personally asked the blond to alert him if his relatives ever did that again.

However, when he opened the email and read its contents he couldn't help but blink in shock. Apparently the blond had bred a special Shellder for him and sent it through the transporter and into his storage. He had even taken the liberty of taking the small payment of 15 dots from his main bank account in the process. While odd... that was actually in their contract as long as the pokemon proved to be worth it. It was something to see in the coming weeks, if ever.

The phone rang 3 times before a smooth voice picked up causing the Professor to choke on her scotch on the  rocks.  Spatting it out into the sink she flustered and choked only to find it to be the answering machine. Geezsus she'd have to call this thing more often. Finally the machine beeped signalling her to speak. Wiping the alcohol off her lips with the back of her hand she cleared her throat, " Hello, this is Prof. Shelena Io calling about the Shellder and would like to make the purchase for 15 dots please. Send it through the PC network please to NacreLabsULB. Thank you."

Yumi had heard one of the old breeders she used to check in on had an egg she might be interested in lying around without a buyer. Of course, she was quick to step up and give this little guy or girl a home, she just hoped it would behave itself.

"15 dots for the shellder right?"

Altair looked up from his cellphone when he heard someone walk in. To his surprise, it was an old client of his from a few months ago... and it seemed as if she was here for the Shellder egg. Well, he bred those things to be sold, so that was no skin off his nose.

"Of course, Ms. Tasukai~ Just wait a few minutes and I will get you your egg as well as the necessary papers." Altair smiled and stood up from his chair.

Before that though, he turned to his assistant and pointed at the computer he had been facing away from a few moments before. "Please finish the transaction confirmations for the other two clients while I take care of this one, will you Johnson?”

The man grinned lazily and plopped his butt onto the seat, leaning on the backrest and giving him a thumbs-up. "No problem, boss!"

"Thank you. Now...” He turned around to face Yumi. "Just wait here. I'll be back in a bit.” With that said, he left to get the papers while his asisstant went to work finishing what he had started.

Altair couldn't believe that he was actually going to do this. He was still technically just a seasoned breeder that was nowhere near the expert level that he was aiming for. However, he had been issued a challenge and he wasn't one to refuse such a challenge. He had promised himself that he would become an expert and this would certainly be a huge step in that direction.

It was going long. It was going to be tedious. It was probably going to be grueling. And now that he thought about it, the ordeal sounded like one of his shoots for his James Bond movies. But he was going to do it.

But everyone's got to start somewhere. And this was that somewhere- the first link in the chain to breed acid armor onto something. He even borrowed a pokemon from one of his other clients to do it and he just hoped that it was truly worth it.

Only time will tell.

Altair liked to think that he had seen and heard a lot of strange things in his lifetime. It was part of the consequences of being as famous as he was, which included having to do concerts and filming in different regions almost constantly before he went into the semi-sabbatical. After all, showbiz and pokemon tended to make for the strangest of combinations. Add research in and it just goes into even weirder directions.

But this current request just took a place in his top ten. After all, it wasn't everyday that someone requested a breeding and stated the reason to be because destiny said so. That has got to be the weirdest excuse for a breeding that he had ever heard. However, he wasn't in a place to question so he was just going to roll with this despite his misgivings.

Money was money and experience was experience, so who was he to question such things.

For some reason, the blond breeder had asked Zernebog to check his email through text. Well, actually he asked him to go to Driftveil to get a gift, but he had to ask the breeder to just send it through mail or transporter instead since he was extremely busy in Kalos. It was like that one region all over again, only this time he wasn't going to repeat the mistake of joining the local villainous team. He preferred to work independently, thank you very much.

However, there were two offers bugging him recently. He had yet to answer to both, but he was seriously considering his choices if only to get some more funding and information about that stupid alien that ambushed him back in Sevii Islands.

But anyways, that wasn't why he was checking his email at the moment. Nope, apparently he had gotten an egg from the blond, Granted, he had to pay 15 dots for it... but an egg was an egg he supposed. If the blond thought that he could use it then he might as well.
