Io has always been a bit of a shy violet, a bookworm if you will. Relationships always came second to her studies or last in general. In total she's had three in her entire existence. That one time she dated Elliot for a week in fifth grade, then Kit whom she went to prom with in high school, that was a long three day weekend. And then there was college and Judith, that lasted a long two years at home plate. Oh shy, backward and beautiful Judith. Codfish extraordinaire, who ruined men for her as she disappeared to Nacre Labs without a word. He couldn't make up his mind and she was tired of waiting for him. Now she lives in lonely exile at the bottom of the sea. A pearl waiting to be found.

Picture yourself sinking down into the cornflower blue sea with the daylight shining down. You see coral reefs, beautiful fish and native sea pokemon before discovering a large pearl lying on the bottom sea bed. As you draw nearer you discover that it's not a pearl at all but a glass dome and inside of it a woman in a long white jacket moves about the dark blue tables and blinking equipment. She is in a tank of air, your fish. Watch over her gently. UNDERWATER TEMPLE: HERE Above the waves on the surface from the cliffs of Unova you stare out into the stormy sea towards Nacre Labs. There's no way you'd realize it's existence had it not been for the small set of metal emergency stairs that are bolted to the cliff face leading down to a steel door embedded into the rocks. A small metal utility shed is surrounded by chain length fence and barbed wire the double doors showing no handles on the exterior. It also doubles as Io's thinking theme whenever she's trouble shooting something.  GHOST ISLAND: HERE When the lights are turned off and night settles on Nacre labs mysterious things begin to happen and strange sights can be seen glowing and drifting through the dark waters. You are trapped in a bubble of darkness in a haunted sea. GARDEN OF THE GODS: HERE The gentle song of the sea and its blue haired siren that lays hidden in it's depths. Something much greater lurks in the waters but that is a buried treasure that only Gods have privy too. TERMINUS: HERE A shadow draws closer towards Nacre Labs, it's a once in a lifetime moment as you can feel the hairs on the back of your arms and neck stand on end. What is this mysterious figure that circles the Lab unexpectedly when no one is around? CALM BEFORE THE STORM: HERE Io's solitude. Her worry about losing Nacre Labs, in the dim blue glow of the mood she sits enveloped in sadness. Looking around at her life's work, she's placed so much time and effort into the place. Surely this isn't good bye... SEA OF MIST: HERE Do you dare walk the old tunnel that collapsed beneath the seafloor? What was once a second way out has now fallen into disrepair. Water falls from the ceiling in mind numbing drips upon the rusting metal with the eerie echo of wind from the swift whirlpool currents. WANDERING FLAME: HERE A soft and sad love theme of Io. Trapped in her own bubble of solitude and unable to truly escape it she embraces the depths as her lover and silently they exist in harmony. TWILIGHT: HERE Nacre Labs is empty, the equipment turned off and papers still lay stacked and strewn about. But where is the Professor? Why is no one here? Or are you really alone? Empty Nacre Labs is home to more than just the Professor you know. UNDERWATER RUINS: HERE Put on your wet suit and ankle weights and walk with the Professor outside of the lab on the sea floor. She's placed the life above behind her and has become one with the sea. She doesn't know if she can return to the surface after spending so much time beneath the wet sky.  DETERMINATION: HERE Just exactly how strong is Io's will to seek out what's right. It seems impossible for her to feel that forgotten pull but when her seduction misfires the hunter is captured by the game. ASSIGNMENT 1

Directly after the second visit from Mr. Nikter Professor Shelena Io received a 500 dots to the Nacre Lab account. This was followed by a letter of inquiry for her to research the underwater ruins just a few fathoms from the lab. A venture she'd been dying to undertake ever since the sub broke. Still it would be some time before the Submarine was operational again leaving her to improvise for the time being.

With a new assistant and a fairly descent chunk of change Shelena Io was simply waiting on a few online orders to arrive before setting out to explore the ruins. What exactly she's looking for or is supposed to find is unknown, only that her financial backer wished to know as much as possible. If she needed any extra labor they would provide but she was in no mood to look like a leech.

You can see his breath as he's staring around at what their doing and you can tell he's waiting on something. You swing the camera back and see all these industrial spotlights set around the area, up shinging on certain pieces of rock and things. Several snowmobiles are scattered about and being driven off with a few pokemon. It's Snowing, going dark, evergreen pines are heavily weighed down as this set of headlights is approaching in the distance from a road you can't see because it blends in so well with the snow. A few others move over to it as Ducky goes off to answer a radio call. Glancing back to see them hefting out a body in a burlap sack making him "tch" as he rolls his eyes letting them take it inside. 

He goes down to investigate the new piece of discovery they found only for it to be they busted their drilling equipment. And Ducky goes "All right listen up, I don't give a damn what you need, what you want or how long it's gonna take.  Get it fixed to we can get the hell out of here." 

"right boss!" 

"Hoi!" Several of them answer as they too are done up in different colors and styles of winter wear with their pokemon before the radio goes off again. "It never ends does it?" he mutters to himself picking it up. "Yeah?" he answers  plugging his ear with one finger as he turns around to look over to another area. "Uhh, hold on." goes over and asks, "You guys get any furthur with that yet?" 

"No we're waiting on the doctor." 

"Doctor?" 

"Yeah, HQ sent someone out to bag us a translater for this shit." 

Nods in silent 'oh okay' understanding as he realizes the bodybag was probably the poor shmuck that was highjacked into this mess. 

*4 + hours later* Pitch dark out now sky looks black from around the lights it's gotten colder as the crew's messing around got one piece of equipment to work is now working on another. Turning around he looks as the main tent opens up the flaps with a group of 5 surrounding one person in an orange winter jacket and snow pants and boots. a dark tobogan hat with a pompom on it sitting on their head and a vicious looking pair of blue eyes behind silver wire  frames. He's watching Io get brought out half drug by her upper arms before she jerks free and straightens up yanking down her orange winter jacket fixing it. As they're still a ways off from where he's at. 

The grunt who was one that got out of the truck earlier all smiles at a job done right. "You idiot!" rips his hat off doing the jump spazz smack to the grunts head making this bugger jerk forward and nearly faceplant the snow as he's about to eat his fist in this *oh fuck it all* moment because these morons just shot everything he's set up right in the ass with kidnapping her like that. Finally they approach and he swings around not facing them and trying to hide and look inconspicious glaring at a clipboard as they pass but looking out the side of his eyes. 

Only  for an hour later to be told he was going to be the one dealing with the spitfire doc. 

*Fuck me with a rake* ....  *Saddles self up for this moment of doom and approaches Io since he was told she'd cooperate. 

*Io looks up* "Mr. Nikter what are you doing here?"

"Uhh, Hi. "

Jerks from her guard and smacks at them. "Don't touch me." she snaps and marches over to him. "What the hell is going on? "

"Well, Professor we uh. we needed some help you see and-" 

"And you couldn't just ASK me? Why was I - " *nag/bitch fit ensues as he tunes her out while Making note to kill grunts* "Well ...it's a mission. A secret Ranger Mission we're doing for the league."

*she's staring hard at him*  

"It's just that this operation is very hush hush. I have no control over what upper management does." 

"And what the hell is with that insignia on everyone. That's a Rocket emblem last time I checked." 

*Shit* "Yeah i know right? It really sucks for us. See we're Red Rangers and you know, *motions to R on jacket* " R R red, Ranger, R it just kind of worked out like that. But yeah I heard they were getting a doc to come look at this stuff but I had no clue it was going to be you." 

*just stares at him with a look of utter contempt* 

*relents and just gives up* "Okay, you got me. We're Rocket" 

"Cut the shit Nikter. If the League needed me to do something secretive they didn't have to make it look like a god damn kidnapping."

*looking at her with wide eyes she bought it?* 

"Where the hell is this writing I'm supposed to be looking at?" 

*Holy shit she did! She actually bought it!* "Duh uh yeah! Right! This way, over this way Professor."

Possible plot idea is for Nacre Labs become its own entity. Maybe it's a SpritiTomb stone or something. But I see Io, her entire life is dedicated to this place, everything she is and does is for Nacre Labs. It'd be kind of neat for it to take on almost its own sense of self and become attached in some way to Io. This is all psychological.

Nacre labs is like an infant, constantly needing attention, Io is like its tool, meant to take care of it. The stress will eventually kill her or something but it's as if the lab has become apart of the Professor. Getting her out of it is only ONE of the options for how this could go.
