"Wow. First rare breeding since the new rules and its a dud. Maybe it's a message, Al?"
Altair glared at his cousin flatly. "Not a word."
His cousin grinned. "Not a good day, broski?"
"Don't even start." Yes, Altair was in a bad mood. Today had just been a terrible day, and it was making him far more unpleasant and completely unlike his usual personality. "Just get me the mushrooms before I sic Valjean on you, alright? I'm really not in the mood today."
He sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Please?"
And that was when his cousin saw how really serious the situation was. "Whoa, you really are in a-"
"Please." Altair's tone came out a little bit sharper than intended. "Now."
"Right away, right away Mr. Grouchy." His cousin flinched and walked out of the room.
Meanwhile, Altair looked down at the two pokemon, both of whom were looking at him dubiously.
"Sorry guys." Altair gave them a weak grin. "It's been a bad day. Don't worry about me, okay?"
"Mushroom's here!" Altair's face dropped back into a neutral, almost cold expression.

Zernebog was contacted by Altair's assistant after his breeding went well. He actually had no idea that those two pokemon were borrowed at all until he was called, so when he tried to deny being asked permission to use his pokemon the assistant reminded him of two very important things. One, that his contract with Altair ensured that he didn't need to ask permission to use a pokemon for breeding as long as it wasn't being used at the moment. And two, it was his phone that issued the order, although it was he himself who did so.
It took a little digging, but he eventually found out that his mother was the one who placed the order for him. Sneaky woman, that one. After he found out why and hugging her for it, he decided to go there himself and visit his two pokemon there while he was at it.
To his surprise though, he saw that his Aron was more comfortable there than he had ever seen it ever since he had gotten it. It was probably the peaceful atmosphere or something. That had given him an idea as to what he could use to pay for the breeding.
"Yo, I'm here to pay for the breeding." Zernebog waved at the blond cashier lazily. "And I'll be paying for it... with the Aron you guys used for the breeding as well as the 20 dot rare tax. I hope you don't mind."

"Hey Al?"
Altair turned around from his seat and looked at his cousin. ”Yes?”
"The egg has been purchased." The cousin then scratched his head. "The payment was a little... unorthodox though."
Altair blinked. "What was it?”
"Well the rare tax was paid in full as usual." He shrugged. "But as for the main payment, well.... Remember that Aron that are the candy? Well, she's yours now."
"...Oh?” Altair's eyes widened. While this wasn't the first time that he had been given a pokemon in exchange for an egg, this was the first time that he had been given one whose gender's been changed by candy.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"...Alright.” Altair shrugged. "Just have the assistant process it then. I'll welcome my new pokemon later.”

Altair looked speculatively at his newest acquisition- a Shellder. He had heard from his main benefactor that there were a couple of clients -including the benefactor himself- who were looking for a good Shellder. He figured that breeding this one with Scar might do the trick, since all of his children ended up strong. He might as well help his grandfather make a profit.
"Prepare the room." Altair requested without even looking at the other occupant of the room. A small smile settled on his lips as he continued to look at the curious water pokemon. "We're going to be making magic tonight."
"Yes sir." His assistant nodded. "Right away."
Altair waited until the sound of the assistant's shoes faded away before patting the Shellder.
"I hope you'll like Scar, my dear." The Shellder looked at him curiously. "You'll both be well-acquainted soon enough. Don't worry about it."
Said Shellder could only stare. Somehow that sounded very ominous.

"There's a last-minute request from some of our clients, sir."
"Oh?" Altair turned around and raised an eyebrow at his new assistant. His old one had chosen to take a vacation so he had to hire a new one in the meantime. "What is the request?"
The assistant cleared his throat and began to read from the clipboard. "Well, the client wants his Aron bred with a friend's Rhydon. Both pokeballs were already sent via the transporter since the two in question came from people in different regions."
"Ah, I see." Altair nodded and stood up from his desk. "Prepare them for breeding then. I have nothing else to do for this week so it's fine."
"Uh, sir?" His new assistant turned to face him. "After this... can I have your autograph please? I've been a fan of your movies since forever and you seem nice so I thought it was okay for me to ask and all...."
Altair raised an eyebrow. "Are you done?"
"...yes sir." He squeaked.
"Oh, good." He then grinned. "That's no problem. I'll do that as soon as we're done, alright?"

BREEDING
Altair's MALE Corsola && FEMALE Shellder
I have 112 WORDS for THE GARDENS OF BABYLON
With a grin of utter mischief and a glint in her eyes that promised no good to come of this, a certain Richelle Jace entered the scene. She didn’t look around long, before spotting the man of the moment himself, Mr. Altair Stavros. “Hey!” she called out to get the celebrity’s attention. “Sup, Hollywood? I heard you have a Shellder egg for sale, right?” she questioned, heading straight over to him with some dots in her hand. “I’ll take it off your hands for, what do ya say… •25?” she asked, holding out the dots and already twisting and turning her head to try and spot where the Shellder’s egg may be.
By The Way; Offering •25 for the Shellder egg, please and thank ya

Apparently Zernebog wasn't done with his breeder rounds this week. He had apparently been summoned by Altair to pick up a special egg that was bred just for him. Apparently going behind his back in order to have his pokemon bred as gifts for him was becoming a terrible habit for his family, because this time his grandfather did it and somehow even wrangled Ricki into it without telling her what their relation was.
Just terrific. They really needed to learn their boundaries, because he would be furious and horrified at the same time if they tried to take one of his more dangerous pokemon and they attacked them because they weren't him or Hyperion. They were strong, but his pokemon were ruthless trained killers, some of whom are probably sadistic, insane, or both, which he didn't want to risk with his family members at all even though they had strong pokemon as well.
But that was for later. Right now he wasn't going to look the gift Ponyta in the mouth and get his egg. He even had a payment in mind for this one. Something that he thought both parties would appreciate.
"Oh hey, you just missed a green haired girl and the boss, dude." The cashier grinned cheekily once he saw Zernebog came in. "Looks like you have to deal with me again."
"...Right. Just great." Zernebog chuckled despite his tone. "Anyways, I'm used to so I'll get straight to the point. In exchange for the egg, I'll give you a nice Zubat. She's well-trained, has a good pedigree, and has all of the papers and vaccinations. I'll send over the data later."

"Hey!"
The store was bustling with a lot of patrons coming and going, asking about their pokrmon, their eggs, or the status of the breedings they were doing. It was sheer madness. Such madness that the vaguely-familiar female voice asking for someone's attention was completely ignored by Altair as he oversaw the others with an appraising eye.
“Sup, Hollywood? I heard you have a Shellder egg for sale, right?”
Hearing the voice so much closer to him made him jump up and clutch his chest. ”My God! Ms. Jace, don't sneak up on me like that!”
Altair whirled around to face her, his eyes set in an uncharacteristically reproachful glare for a second before it slipped, revealing an amused look. "But it's nice to see you anyways.”
He then put on his usual polite smile. "And yes, 25 dots does sound reasonable. I will get it for you in a moment.”
And indeed, it only took him a few moments since the Shellder egg was on an incubator on a shelf just to his right. "Now, come with me to finalize the papers for ownership and all of the other paperwork. After that, you may keep the egg.” With that said, he led the green haired girl into his office to finalize said papers. After that, she was free to go.
However wasn't until much later that he was able to do finalize everything with the League and make it all of official, due to having to wait for his other client to confirm as well.
It was as a favor to some apparent clientele, so why not? Hemlock mustered up her courage and made her way into the breeding facility, looking about and around before finding her way to the correct spot to place orders, so to speak. It felt like such an odd word to use - ordering for the breeding of Pokemon? Hemlock had to admit that she had no idea how most of this stuff worked, but even then, it felt odd.
"Uh.... I-I need t-this done." She placed down a paper of information, containing details on her Shuppet and how it needed to be bred with a female Ralts. "I-if you c-can handle this, s-sir...."

Altair gave the young brunette a small smile as he gently plucked the paper from his hands, hoping to at least try and make her feel a little more comfortable and at home. He wasn't sure if she remembered him as one of the judges in December's contest because he was decked out in far finer threads and styling it up to the nines for that appearance as Walter Heydrich. Frankly though, he would rather that she not. Either way, business was still business.
Once Altair was done reading the order, he looked back up at her and nodded. "Don't worry about it, Miss. I will have the breeding done shortly. Since you have the necessary information already here on this sheet of paper we will handle the rest here at the Gardens of Babylon."
He can promise that much, at least. Besides, it was the least he could do for one of the winners of that contest.
