Now that she was here in the area, she’d caught news of another swarm taking place right in the exact location where she was; and then tried to rub her hands—but failed in the process, because her right arm was currently set in a cast and was still hurting like hell! Ouch, so this is what it feels like to break an arm… she thought as she cringed and began looking around the outskirts of the city. It was a pain having to learn how to do everything left-handed, but she was forced to adapt to it because she only had one functioning arm (and eye) as of the moment. Rummaging around in her jacket’s left-hand side inner pocket, she quickly pulled out a random Pokeball and then quickly tossed it , watching as the red light formed into Arashi, her baby Cyndaquil—who had yet to actually evolve.
“Cynda? Cyndaquil?” she heard him ask, quickly poking around in the snow—before heading over and sniffing her boots. “Cyndaquil?!” she heard him say a few moments later, as it looked up and caught sight of the arm in its cast, and then began sniffling around really worriedly at that point. “I know Ara… but you may be happy… because your mother is joining our foray. And I think she’ll be with us, to stay,” she whispered, fighting back the urge to cry at that point—because from the corner of her eye, a pack of what looked like walking grass with faces appeared. It was her target; and she knew that she had to get at least one of them in her possession. “Well then,” she began, motioning to the distance, “Try and hit them with Lava Plume first. I don’t want them all clustered together…” she ended, watching as her Cyndaquil bounded forward atop the fresh layer of snow, unfazed by the cold.
She watched the pack, and waited—before a sudden rumbling shook the area—and then, it happened. a portion of the snow-covered area suddenly melted and gave way to the hard ground that was rarely seen; and then from out of nowhere, several explosions of lava erupted out of the ground—and one immediately found its way towards where the Snover were gathered. They never saw what was coming—the lava rained down around them, and she could hear the high-pitched wails and screeching of the pack; yet she held her ground in the snow—and saw that one of them had managed to escape. Watching as several chunks of ice quickly formed and was sent screaming towards the Cyndaquil, she countered with, “Ara, hit that thing with Flamethrower, now!”
“Cyn!” came the cry of reply; and then a powerful blast of fire met the incoming projectiles, melting them dead in its tracks, and then she followed it up with, “Come on Ara, move in close for a Quick Attack, let’s go!” and watched as the little flame-mouse quickly shot forward—before the Snover had time to defend itself. She then saw out of surprise as a miniature blizzard formed around the two—what had caused it? She knew that there was no blizzard—until she realized that it was possibly coming from the little Snover that had decided to retaliate and fight back! Hah, I like this one. Good move… she thought as she watched her Cyndaquil finally make contact (amidst the swirling chunks of snow) and then smacked the Snover—only to realize that it had somehow ingrained itself into the ground. “Ah crap,” she said, before cupping her left hand and shouting, “Ara, close-range Flanethrower, now!”
“CYN!!!” came the cry of courage, and since it was so close, a burst of superheated flames came streaming from the little Cyndaquil’s mouth; and it scorched the Snover—which tried to seemingly retaliate by summoning a powerful blizzard-like fury down—but half the snow didn’t make it due t the heat radiating from the Flamethrower attack—and she let out a little shriek as well; because the chunks of hail were hitting her own ‘mon as well! “End it now! Use your Swift attack!” she added, watching s a deluge of star-shaped rays sprinkled out of her Cyndaquil’s mouth, smacking the Snover from all sdes—and she knew that it was a move guaranteed to hit no matter what the cost. As soon as the last of the star-shaped particles stopped hitting the Snover, the mini-hailstorm also dropped and fizzled out; before the Cyndaquil dropped back and rushed over to Izumi’s side.
“This is going to be tricky...” she added, fumbling around in the right side of her jacket for an empty Pokeball, and she quickly angled herself to make sure the aim wasn’t off, and let the Pokeball fly from her left hand, where it soared and attempted to absorb the burned Snover in a flash of red light…

t was below freezing and a flurry of snowflakes was all Jason could see. He pulled the collar of his jacket up to protect his neck from the cold. Hiking up a mountain in the early morning wasn't exactly how Jason had planned to spend his New Years. He had gotten word of a wild pack of Snovers swarming in the mountains of Sinnoh from one of his father's informants. Apparently hikers and the like were worried to travel through the mountains because of this and the Sinnoh League had allowed free capture of the pokemon. Jason stopped moving as a blast of freezing mountain air hit him. Oh how he hated Sinnoh.
The endless white that surrounded him was getting bland and had Jason feeling lonely. He pulled his hands out of his armpits and shoved them into his pockets, searching for a pokeball. Finding one, he tossed it into the air, causing a burst of light and a small ghost pokemon to fall into the snow. It squeaked, and jumped onto Jason, terrified of the new substance. Jason chuckled and patted Diamond, his Sableye. "It's not dangerous, just snow. Go ahead and play in it" Jason said to Diamond. She squinted her gem stone eyes at him, but trusted him, and jumped off of his leg and rolled into the snow. Her demonic giggles could be heard far into the forest as she played in the winter wonderland.
As Diamond played and Jason watched, sipping at some coffee from his thermos, neither of them noticed the eyes watching them from what appeared to be inside a tree. It watched, and furious that a Human had entered its territory, began whistling. Diamond heard it first, sticking her head up from the snow fortress she had been working on. Baring her teeth, she approached the tree-like thing and poked it. Jason, however, was being lulled to sleep. The Snover glared at the Sableye, becoming even angrier. It swung its arm at the Sableye with the force of nature behind it. Diamond had the notion that attack would be coming and swiftly moved out of the way. The attack hit the ground and a ear popping thud came from it, waking Jason from his half-awake state. He rubbed his eyes and looked over at where Diamond and the Snover were battling.
"Dia, poison it and then attack from the shadows!" Jason shouted, hoping the little imp would remember what he had taught it via TM. The imp in question hopped to and fro and slashed at the Snover from the shadows and poked it with a glowing purple finger. From the contact point, the Snover's once barely visible veins began to glow purple as the poison flowed through its body. The Snover let out a roar that caused the snow to shake, and blasted Dia with the force of a blizzard. Jason winced as the attack hit his pokemon and gave her another command, "Recover from the attack and play dirty!" Diamond was already enveloping herself in a white light, healing her of the wounds she had received. A few seconds later, she felt better and approached the kneeling Snover, the poison taking its toll. It went in for an attack, but Diamond expecting this, hit a pressure point on its arm that caused it to hit itself. The attack, apparently, was enough to make it fall to the ground. Dia approached it, ready to deal the death blow, when Jason called, "Wait!" She turned her head and stuck her tongue out, but sat down. The glow of poison in its veins and the shallow breathing was enough in Jason's eyes. He produced an empty pokeball and tossed it at at the down pokemon.

He decided to take a quick trip to another region—because there was something here that he could add to his slowly growing collection. Knowing that he didn’t stand too much of a chance with the weather in question, he decided to dress heavily, and the final result that he was wearing two thermal jackets, atop two pairs of jeans, and had one very long scarf wrapped around his neck to keep the cold out. He was also wearing shades, and had several pairs of gloves on his hands to serve as mittens—but the biggest surprise came with his feet; as he was wearing three pairs of socks underneath the heaviest pair of combat boots he could borrow from his older brother! I must look really stupid, but heck, better safe than sorry… he thought as he saw that there had been signs of recent activity in the area as he approached.
Now, where are they… he thought as he looked around—and saw a lone tree-like ‘mon appear from behind a rock, and it was quivering like hell! What had set it off?! He then crouched down as best as he could in the snowfall, before watching it waddle close enough to take a look at him. He thought that it may have been female, because it was missing one additional brown strap—and it was looking up at him with quivering eyes. “Snover? Snover, snover.” He heard it cry out, and it took all of him not to break down and hug the poor thing, because who knew what it had been put through! “What happened?” he asked it, trying to see if he could pick up something as his hand reached out for it—and then, another vision overtook him.
He could see that this Snover was going along with its own pack, when a sudden blast of fire had separated it from its fellows; and that only a few of the entire brood made it out of the little infernal blast that had shaken the mountains. He also saw several other shadows leering over them; but wasn’t sure if this was a scene from before, or sometime in the future—and he then shook himself out of it; before saying, “You want to call another place home?” before hesitating to attack it, because it was just too pitiful to actually take out! He then sighed, before noticing that the sky above him and the Snover had turned dark; and then a few moments later he was hit with a chunk of ice! “What’s going on? What are you doing?!” he shouted over the roar of the falling hail; and then saw that the little tree was about to move in close—when it smacked him with leaves!
“Ah dang it, you tricked me!” he shouted, skittering out of the way, before quickly calling out one of his own ‘mons in a flash of red light; and saw as Alexander, also known as Lexie, made his grand appearance. “Skull? Duskull!?” he heard it growl, before quickly preparing to attack it when more chunks of hail smacked the levitating ghost! “Duskull!” he heard it leer, before quickly unleashing a powerful smack of its own—it was his signature move; also one of the reasons why he didn’t like attacking unless it was out of extreme necessity. “Duskull!” he chanted once more, before quickly launching a quick attack, seemingly disappearing for a moment before appearing right behind it, and hitting it with its Shadow Sneak attack.
Unlike most of Kouji’s ‘mons, this one apparently did business as it saw fit, and Kouji himself could only stare on in wonder… “Well looks like you got this under control. Do your thing then,” was all he could say with a chuckle, before watching the Duskull veer in close once more and then watched as one of the attacks smacked it, and the falling hail contributed to the damage as well. “Well, use your Future Sight attack now,” he said from the sidelines, and watched as the Duskull leered at it—and then it attempted to use a Blizzard attack on the Duskull, which thankfully missed (on the most part), but the ghost was now going down under a constant battering of hail. “Hang in there, go use Payback!” he continued, watching the spectacle unfold—and just as it used another series of leaf-smacking attacks, the Duskull retaliated by first getting hit with the full-force of said attack, and then quickly exacting its ‘payback’ on the creature.
For a moment, it looked as if the Snover was going to win—but the seemingly freak snow storm came to a halt, and it flopped over! “Okay, move out of the way,” he continued, tossing a Pokeball at it and hoping for the best…
SNOVER Gender Male Hidden Ability Soundproof Moves from Ingrain - Wood Hammer - Blizzard - Sheer Cold
Jovia had heard about this new swarm of Snover now, Clogging Snowpoint and everything so it took her a few to get there. Once arrived however it looked like people were already there getting their own and helping to wittle down the population. She kinda liked the thought of a grass snow type, sure fire would take them out quickly but it was still interesting... And they got very tough with good training nevermind she loved grass so why not. Eyeing a male one as she took out a Pokeball with a smile, having found a good one to capture.
"Alright first Will o Wisp then use Ember on that Snover!" Noani turned to look at the grass ice type with a raised eyebrow. Shaking her head with a little sigh before sending the flurry of ghostly flames to the Snover. It hit and the burn didn't help him much though giving a grin he just shoved his feet into the ground to restore some with his roots. Jovia winced a little bit but watched as Noani just jumped to the side and sent out some embers covering the Snover who couldn't dodge now. The blizzard though intensified around them causing Noani to shiver and almost fall to the ground.
So this Snover knew Blizzard did it? Giving a little smirk Jovia shook her head before glancing to Noani. "Alright try Ember one more time alright? Try to dodge though mostly." The embers weren't sent but what returned was such a piercing cold that... Noani just fainting to the ground. Quickly bringing the Vulpix back to her Pokeball she tossed an empty one to the Snover. "Well drat.... hope this works sorry Noani..."
Snover. Male. Snow Warning. Ice Shard - Wood Hammer - Blizzard - Grass Whistle --- Early morning in Snowpoint. Murdoc had left the room and left Hilda in charge as he went out, and now he was out and about, bundled up like a marshmallow snowman as he made his way from the inn to the Rocket base camp they had set up in the mountains. Well, that was the plan, anyways. He just needed to meet up with someone to relay orders.
On the way, however, a little surprise stumbled into his path. The Snover itself seemed rather ignorant of Ducky's existence, but that didn't stop it from causing a little chaos around him as it blew out another Blizzard attack, with Murdoc in the edge of the cone of the attack, where he had to bring up his arms to shield his face. "Hey! Little guy, quit it," he shouted out, but the Snover seemed very ignorant of him being there. Fine then, he'd have to fight fire with fire.
With one hand in front of his face he reached into his coat and tossed out a pair of Pokeballs - an Abra and Winston the Vigoroth appeared. "Take care of it! Get behind it!" Abra latched onto Winston's back like a backpack and teleported to behind the Snover, who turned in shock as the Vigoroth smashed down with his arm in a Chip Away attack.
Winston shot off a Yawn attack, smashing into the Snover as it tried to retaliate with a Wood Hammer. Vigoroth took the hit to the chest, but was able to retaliate with Counter, turning the force of the attack right back into the Snover, knocking it right back onto its back.
A final volley of Chip Away attacks hit the Snover as it fell asleep, with the Blizzard temporarily ending, long enough for Murdoc to toss out a Pokeball to try and keep it down for the count. Hopefully he wouldn't have to deal with the snowstorms for the rest of the journey.

MALE Snow Warning Blizzard Ingrain Mist Wood Hammer
Once again, Altair found himself in Sinnoh. This time though, instead of the sunny and relatively-warm shores of Sunyshore (no pun intended) he was situated high up in the bitterly-cold and harsh steeps that lead to the town of Snowpoint. Normally, one such as he wouldn't be found here due to his love of temperate places like his beloved Unova. However, he had heard from his sources that there was a swarm of pokemon that can only be found in this region. A pokemon that would be very valuable for his grandfather's business, they had all said.
That was why he was here now, looking over the mass of white and green pokemon as they warred against the many trainers that had gathered here like a writhing swarm of miniature furry humans. Atop his shoulder him was Cyrano, his Murkrow, who looked particularly discontent at having to stay out of his nice and warm pokeball in the midst of the freezing cold of this area. It did not help that thick chunks of ice were raining down on them constantly, slowly forming bruises on their forms as the time passed.
”Just wait until they come to us, Cyrano.” Altair stated with a small grin on his face as he stared out into the sea of white and green. Cyrano cawed appreciatively, unwilling to try and fly for long periods of time in this weather.
It didn't take long for one of the Snovers to spot what looked like easy prey. Immediately, he headed towards the human to try and hit him with a vicious Wood Hammer, only to stop and flinch when bird suddenly cawed extremely loudly and swooped up. That left him vulnerable to being smacked with the bird's wings, making it cry out in pain.
"SNOVER!" In retaliation, it stood its ground and used Ingrain in order to start regaining what he had lost in that one hit. However, that left it open for yet another strike from the black crow's wings, forcing it to cry out yet again. This time he used a Blizzard against his opponent, sending it flying away as it had no ability to dodge in this weather.
The ice-cold chill made Cyrano caw in pain and anger, the pain being very severe. With the damage he had been constantly getting from the hail, it was actually almost enough to knock him out. Instead of being deterred though, he simply cawed once again. Luck seemed to be on his side when the Snover flinched again, allowing him to get close and strike twice more with his wings.
The supper-effective moves were finally enough to render the Snover unconscious. Once it was unconscious, Altair immediately recalled Cyrano back to his ball before he too collapsed due to the hail that was constantly pelting at them. After that, he then threw a pokeball to the downed pokemon and waited to see if it was caught....
Jovia just frowned as she saw that the Snover popped back out of the Pokeball in front of her, quickly bringing out another ball to let lose her own grass type with a frown. "Sleep powder quick!!" She knew she had to try to get this done and over with before he knocked out Liana as well. The dust was cast towards the Snover but he merely shrugged it off before sending a blizzard towards the petilil..... Who started to glow and change shape? Jovia just grinned as Liana grew into a Lilligant and then just shook her head slowly.
"Alright Liana, try sleep powder one more time!" This time it worked, finally putting the grass ice type to sleep without knocking Liana out thankfully. Frowning a little bit though as she fingered the Pokeball Jovia just gave out a little sigh. "Use Giga Drain, lets see if we can weaken him a bit more alright?" Lilligant just waved her arms as the green energy moved from the sleeping Snover to her, restoring some of the damage but not too much considering her opponent. "One more time...." Jovia strained to say, so certain the Snover would wake up at any moment and ruin her plans... The giga drain though worked but of course the Snover woke up again. Quickly tossing the Pokeball at him before returning Liana quickly.... even if he was captured she couldn't use Liana anymore after all.
