He meets Rikkan, a Pokemon Ranger, who is also on the mission. But when Rikkan suddenly pulls out of the mission, Josh is left alone on the task, and things only get worse when another blizzard starts...
Kalos Exploring - Josh decides to take Bastilo and Vector to Kalos for a bit of training. Of course, the trio ends up getting a bit more then they bargained for with a set of aggressive Pokemon, and Vector and Bastilo arguing doesn't help! It becomes a game of one-upsmanship between the Squirtle and Totodile, but which one ends up evolving amidst the turmoil? And do the two rivals ever make up and be friends?
Pidove Swarm - A Pidove steals Josh's bandana, leading to a chase in order to get it back. But even with Fawkes by the young man's side, the Pidove's Tailwind attack makes things a bit harder then expected.
Pachirisu Swarm - A mischievous Pachirisu steals the food of the baby Houndour, Buddy, incurring the wrath of Fawkes. Can Josh tear Fawkes off the Pachirisu before he tears the Pachirisu into ribbons?
Hot Girl, Hot Springs, Hot Day! - After the mission saving Fallarbour and Lavaridge, Josh takes a pit stop at Lavaridge to rest his Pokemon, only to be mobbed upon entry and hailed hero. This leads to him reuniting with Izumi, hailed in the same fashion, with the two striking up a close friendship before long. But their talk gets personal when Izumi treats Josh to a trip to the hot springs, and a bit of alcohol gets involved.
I Wanna Dig, The Very Best - With Lightning taking a nap, Salia and Destructor shine again as Josh's latest escapade leads to a rare discovery.
A Not-Date? - Josh had kept in touch with and become close friends with Izumi since meeting up again with her at Lavaridge. Today, Izumi invited Josh back to Lavaridge to hang out for the day and try out some of her families local cuisines.
A Seemingly Relaxing Night - Josh decides to head home for some rest, and after spending the day with his family, ends up wandering outside of town with Inferno to take a stroll. An accidental encounter with a wild Oddish though gains the rage of a gang of Dodrio and Doduo who surround the two, forcing Inferno to fight for his life in order for them to escape. Josh and Inferno manage to dispatch the Doduo and Dodrio, but the dirty tactics of the leader of the gang leaves Inferno beaten to a bloody pulp, and Josh's attempts to stop it wind up in him getting wounded as well. With Inferno near death and with not much time left, will their bond allow them to escape from this potentially fatal encounter alive?
Josh Dragomir & The Repetitive Dig Cycle - Introducing newcomer Trooper, his Corpish, as well as newly evolved Typhlosion, Inferno to the fold for the Badlands digs, Josh begins his quest to assemble a team of diggers in order to find treasure. Does this team work out?
Destructor's Off The Chain - Another foray into the Badlands leads to disaster as Destructor is attacked and goes out of control. When Josh and Lightning chase him, they fall into one of the holes he digs and into the underground caverns below. Can they find Destructor before he hurts himself further?

A Small Town Stop - On a visit back home to Littleroot Town, and picking up some groceries to help his mother out, Josh meets a fledgling Trainer by the name of Doug Glick. After introductions lead to a battle offer, Doug gives Josh a surprisingly impressive fight, one which leads to Fawkes evolving into Charizard, and Vulcan having a hard time against Doug's Solrock. But when Doug makes a fatal rookie mistake when battling against Lightning, how does Josh turn Lightning's abilities to his advantage to claim victory? And what advice and offer does Josh give Doug when it's all said and done?
I Hate Snow II - Having been left to finish the mission alone, Josh calls in Izumi, who he was supposed to meet in Kalos regardless, to come help him out. By the time she gets there though, the wacky weather conditions of the area worsen, causing a second blizzard to hit. After they find a cave, Inferno is reunited with his family, his brother and his mother. After the rest and family reunion, Josh and Izumi get to work on finishing the task themselves, with much more snow to clear then originally intended. Also, witness the debut of Wob, and hope it doesn't eat the yellow snow!
The Start Of A New Journey - Josh decides it's finally time to come home to visit for the first time since leaving Littleroot Town. On his way there, he happens to meet Red, the Champion of the Kanto region, and one of the greatest Trainers to live. Of course, not knowing this, Josh invites his new friend over to the house. After discovering his identity, Josh reveals his true story to Red. But what interesting offer does Red make in response?
Quick Meeting - After a phone call that reveals to Izumi that Josh has mega stones in his possession, Izumi sets up a meeting between them to reveal the nature of the stones he has been collecting, as well as give an offer that would solve Izumi's problem with the tower, along with giving the both of them a chance to unlock the secrets of Mega Evolution.
Welcome To Dragomir Ranch, Smelly Izumi! - Josh decides to invite Izumi over to Dragomir Ranch for the first time, in order to meet his slew of Pokemon. After giving her the grand tour, of course, the topic changes to Josh's family, and his missing father, who has been gone since shortly after Josh left on his journey.
We Meet Again, Yummy Yumi! - After getting lost in the forest, Josh once again meets Yumi, who seems to know her way. As they go through the forest and show off their Pokemon though, the attitude of Yumi's Kirlia and it's erratic behavior draws the ire of several wild pokemon, including a flock of Xatu and Natu. But when both Yumi's Kirlia, as well as Vulcan evolve to protect their Trainers, how do the tides change?
Convention - After dealing with some business in Santalune City, Josh comes across a massive crowd obsessing over an internet celebrity named Beata. Inquiring the girl about what's going on, Josh ends up accidentally being pulled into assisting in stopping a robbery when Beata is mugged out of nowhere. Afterword, numbers are exchanged, and a battle is promised for the future.
Aqua To The Rescue - On his way back home, Josh is surprised to find a woman by the name of Olivia, a member of Team Aqua, under attack by a group of Corphish, Crawdaunt and Milotic. After her leg is broken, Josh steps in to keep anything from happening to her and ward off the enraged wild Pokemon before they can cause any serious damage, unaware of Olivia's origins.
Serious Training - Josh has decided it's time to stay in Mt. Pyre for a period of time to dedicate time toward training his Pokemon full time. Of course, the group hits their first snag when the bullies of the mountain take exception to their defending the Pokemon that are having a problem defending themselves, and show up in droves....
Zig Zag Dig-Oo! - Josh decides to give his trio of Zigzagoon a workout in seeing what they can do in the Badlands.
Reunited Thunder Buddies - Josh is reunited with his old friend and travelling companion from the Kohaku Region, Maxine, who he had believed to have been deceased. After a detour back to Dragomir Ranch for a tour and some catching up, the two decide to travel together for a time.
Granite Cave Explorers - Josh and Maxine explore Granite Cave in hopes of catching some Pokemon within the cave. They get more then they bargained for via a Makuhita, Sableye, and more.
Snubbull Swarm - Josh tests out his newborn Froakie, Espio, in battle against a Snubbull with a unique and rare ability.
A Visit, Then Sparring! - Izumi visits Josh while he's training alone on Mt. Pyre. After finding out that Inferno has successfully evolved into a Typhlosion, Izumi challenges Josh to a battle using her Riolu, with Josh using Bastilo. Of course, they get more then expected when Bastilo ends up evolving into Wartortle.
Yoshi Hunting - Josh re-visits the Safari Zone with Lightning in order to look for Tyrunt. But they get a little more then they bargained for.
Catching Dragons - Josh decides to fulfill a dream to catch and raise a dragon type Pokemon for the first time. So bringing along his Tyrunt, Yoshi, Josh sets off into the Safari Zone. It's there that they run into a Dratini, and Yoshi's first battle begins.
Pichu Swarm - Josh and Lightning stumble upon a group of hungry Pichu. After feeding them and realizing that they're having a hard time finding food in the forest, Josh offers to adopt all five of the Pichu in the group. While most of the Pichu gleefully accept, their leader is a bit unsure, and challenges Josh and Lightning to battle them all in a gauntlet to prove their worth.
Where The Hell Are We? - Josh gets lost in Kalos's Victory Road, and ends up in a spot of trouble.
The Rise Of Captain Jack Spearow - Alongside Lightning, Destructor and their new companion, "Captain" Jack Spearow, Josh heads to the Badlands for the first time in October. Under the guidance of the Captain, what might they find?
The Mysterious Fossil Professor - After an accident involving Ace and a game of frisbee, Josh meets a Pokemon Professor that specializes in Fossil Pokemon. Being an avid fan of Fossil Pokemon, Josh gladly listens to a few lessons and lectures.
How To Smash Higato's Ego In 30 Seconds - Following ANOTHER accident in training with Ace, Josh crashes into Higato, a celebrity that Josh, sadly, doesn't recognize, which infuriates Higato.
Lost And Found - Josh ends up meeting a little girl by the name of Angel, who he battles. After both Inferno and her Gothita, Ribbon, both evolve during the battle, Josh takes Angel out for pancakes and introduces her to his team, promising to meet up with her later to show her Dragomir Ranch.
Like We Were Fated To Meet Again - Josh meets a Coordinator after her Pokemon causes some mischief as Josh is taking a beach day.
Will We Finally Get A Relaxing Beach Day? - Josh's beach day is once again interrupted when training gone wrong splashes an explosive Vulcan with water. After calming Vulcan down, Josh engages the Trainer in conversation.
Don't Shoot The Fishing Blonde! - Josh meets a rather aloof lad by the name of Danny after... Err... Saving his life from a couple of vicious monsters, with a series of shenanigans that include Danny being eaten by Chuck.
Lessons Etched In Steel - Josh receives battle training in the form of a sparring session with the Gym Leader, Ferris.
Zigzagoon Swarm - In order to deal with a swarm of 3 Zigzagoon, Josh evened the odds using Lightning, Vector and Ace.

Kohaku Heroes - After their reunion and Ranch tour, Josh challenges Maxine to a battle. They go to a draw due to dinner, but Vulcan and Wob put up a good fight against Maxine's Tepig and Horsea.
If You Fall, Get Up And Try Again - After the last failure of their last Safari Zone shot, Josh and Lightning try again... With almost the exact same Pokemon appearing! But in the end, they meet a Torchic, who comes along afterword.
Dust Yourself Off - After the failure of the last Badlands dig, Josh has started to become dejected and depressed. His Pokemon show their support and he realizes there's more to this then just the digging. Though all they find is junk, Josh's confidence is restored.
Heavy Artillery II - Josh and Izumi take another go at the Badlands, hoping to make up for the failure of last time.
