Emails were such handy things, Zernebog had learned. One of the few facets of technology that he understood and appreciated, especially in times where he got important emails like this one from a breeder he knew who had relocated in Bayonada.
Apparently, his student had gone ahead and ordered something for him as a late Christmas gift and was just now sending it over into a transporter to the nearest pokemon center in Wizen. Well, he supposed that it was better late than never. Maybe it was a good thing that he'd told Izumi where he had been staying in Nue lately after all.
Now all he had to do was take care of the Shinx egg he had just gotten... which already had cracks on it? Huh. That was weird.

Josh had gotten a message from Kouji saying that Josh's Gible, Garcraft, had done well, although it'd gotten frozen by a Snover. Since he was home, and Sakuraba Ranch was more or less the same thing as Dragomir Ranch now... He was able to just walk over and found Garcraft with a blanket and an egg nearby. "Hey Garcraft, guessing you got the cold shoulder?" He would joke playfully as the blonde patted the Gible's head. "Gible!" Garcraft let out, as the blonde would pick her up, wrapping her a little better in the blanket like a warm bundle. He would pick up the egg as well, which the Gible seemed quite attached to, and head back to the house to warm them both up.
[Claiming Gible Egg! Congrats on the triple haul!]

Sarah walked into the ranch slowly and looked around, it was a peculiar place that was for sure so this is what a pimps place is like, wow interesting, it's a lot cleaner than i thought it would be[/i] ideally sarah could understand breeders, but there was something about them that caused her concerned, she had this weird image in her head where breeders did nothing but do stuff that was really weird and not appropriate to speak out loud.
The teenager had found an egg placed out with her name written on a piece of paper in front of her, she looked at the egg and picked it up, placing it carefully in her backpack and left a note for the breeder saying thank you and left with the adorable little poke egg now in her care, she would make sure to take care of it and raise it well. ooc claiming gible egg thankyou and congrats

He was pleasantly surprised to find out that threatening the Snover with a Charmander had produced quite exceptional results—and it had resulted in the Gible eggs getting snapped up all quickly. Whoa, so there is an actual market for these little fellows? Kouji mused in the back of his mind as he then prepared to get ready for yet another “unusual” breeding request—this one involved borrowing one of Altair’s ‘mons yet again, with another one coming from this white-haired guy that he really didn’t know too much about. As he then watched the Transporter go off like nuts, it then dropped in two more containment units; which he promptly retrieved. After inputting another sequence of codes, he then heard another several loud clattering noises announce the arrival—because honestly, this was one of the, if not the strangest requests he’d ever gotten to.
Alright, here goes… he thought as he then held the armload of containment units; before heading out back in order to get started with the harebrained operation. First off, he then sent out the Smeargle in a flash of red light—and was promptly reminded of the other one that he hadn’t returned yet! Note to self, return this soon… he thought as the Artisan ‘mon looked around curiously. “Wait right here,” he began, quickly consulting his phone and then seeing that he’d been messaged a ‘cheat sheet’ of what moves needed to be passed down. “Here goes,” he continued, crouching down and dropping the other three containment units on the grass and sending out the first one that contained his Skiddo. As the playful Grass-type looked around curiously before promptly smacking her head into Kouji, he then got to checking aforementioned cheat sheet again.
“Nurmi, can you demonstrate your… Growth technique? And ouch, that hurts, even now,” he said with a chuckle, remembering the beaning he’d received in full force; the Skiddo’s way of showing affection. “Please? Do it real slowly so that the Smeargle there can follow you,” he continued, and watched as the Grass-type then began to whip up roots coming from the earth, snaking around her form and boosting something (he didn’t know what). At the same time, the Artisan ‘mon then quickly imitated the gestures, committing it to memory. After the move was successfully copied, he then quickly recalled the little Grass-type mere seconds before she could sock him in the guts with another playful ramming gesture. Ugh, that hurt, he thought with a grimace as he then grabbed the other containment unit; before revealing its occupant. It was a Mawile, which he recognized because he’d gotten to breeding one of them before for his benefactor.
“So… Metis, right?” he began again, consulting the cheat sheet before clearing his throat. “Errr, yeah. Your master lent me to you for something… so, I mean no harm, don’t worry,” he began as the rather aggressive Mawile began snapping her head in a rather threatening manner. “I just need you to use…. Errr, yeah, Stockpile,” he continued, before gesturing to the alert Smeargle behind her and then continuing, “…so that the little one over there can copy it. Care to show me?” he ended; hoping that the Mawile didn’t bite his hand off. A few moments later, the Mawile had gotten on to demonstrating the Stockpile, the little Artisan ‘mon flew into a flurry, committing it to perfect memory. After the second move had been successfully copied and learned, he then recalled the Mawile before it got ideas of biting his hands off.
“Now, to the actual breeding…” he uttered with a slight groan, before quickly setting the male Numel loose and watching as the weird thing hit the ground. He knew that most of his benefactor’s ‘mons were amicable to him; since he began taking care of them even back then in Unova, and then he continued, “Well, little one. Here’s your partner for today. Please be nice, okay? Asaki here doesn’t bite too much. If he gets bored, entertain him, okay,” he ended, crossing two hopeful fingers in his pocket before scooping up the borrowed ‘mons and then shuffling back to the Ranch’s main office.

Same shit different day and region, it seemed.
The scruffy businessman scratched his three-day old stubble as he stared at the relocated breeding ranch. Man, even in a new region he can't escape the job of being a pick-up gopher for his boss. Well, it couldn't be helped with his boss being busier than ever in this new region as an actual Gym Leader of all things. Besides, if it gave the boss more time with his girl (which meant that she was nicer and less of a terror in general) then he was all for it. Hopefully they still have the same staff manning it.
Shrugging to himself, he took one last drag on his cigarette before walking inside the main building. "Hello? Anyone here? I'm here to pick up two Numel eggs for my boss Miguel Hidalgo. I got your 50 dots here too."

It was the beginning of another week—and since the boss was out on ‘official business’, the assistant was left to deal with the incoming flux of breeding requests. There was one particular request fielded from the Aquarium, and it had been marked as ‘top priority’ in the Ranch’s planner, so he decided to get to it as soon as he could. After punching in the series of codes that had been left behind to him by Kouji, he then stepped back and waited. “Th’s ‘s th’ weird’st thing I’ve ev’r done,” he muttered to himself as he waited for the Transporter to go off with a loud, clattering noise. He returned his attention to the thing he was working on in the sketch pad; and looked up several minutes later as the Transporter whirred, before finally dropping in a containment unit with a loud clanging noise.
“A’igh’, time t’ get ta this,” he continued, setting the sketchpad and pencil down as he then quickly plucked up the weird PokeBall and peered inside. He could see something that looked like a gold fish—only thing was that it had a horn atop its head. “Phew,” he muttered as he then made his way to the Aquarium in one of the storage rooms; as the man-made lake structure was still under construction as of the moment. What was taking them so long? He then sighed, before catching sight of the female Alomomola who was swimming around in circles within the fish tank, looking quite pleased with herself. “Here goes,” he continued as he then released the gold fish ‘mon from its PokeBall, and heard a loud splashing noise.
“A’igh’, b’ nice ta each oth’r!” he continued with a pointed look in the Goldeen’s direction; before returning back to the front just in case someone dropped by and wanted to transact business with them.

There was this crazy honking sort of noise that he’d heard from out of nowhere—and wondering just what the hell was causing it, the assistant tossed the sketchpad down on the counter, before shuffling towards the temporary aquariums that had been set up in one of the rooms beyond the front counter. He caught sight of a distressed-looking pink, round thing trotting forward (it looked like the thing was looking for him) and he then raised a hand, acknowledging the Chansey.
“I kno’, I kno’. They’e makin’ a racket,” he said with a sigh as he then made his way towards where the stock room was located, before opening the door and searching for the particular paper bag that was emitting a slightly… funky smell. “A’igh’, use thi’ an’ they’d b’have… or so they say,” he muttered as he stuck his hand in and extracted one rubbery, yellow mushroom before changing tracks and heading back towards the original destination—the room with the aquariums.
The scene was rather chaotic—the weird, orange-and-white single-horned fish was apparently ramming its protrusion into the pink, weird, hand-finned fish; and the hand-finned fish was looking completely bothered by what its partner was doing. “Ca’m do’, ca’m do’n!” he shouted, flailing his arms and rapping a hand against the glass—that made the Goldeen look up at him rather haughtily. “Here, hav’ one fo’ th’ nerv’s,” he continued as he then stepped back and tossed the funny-smelling mushroom into the tank.
The Goldeen then swam upwards and greedily snatched at it, ripping it to pieces and eating it rather voraciously—which left the purple-haired assistant staring out of shock and wonder. “Oy,” he muttered as he slapped a palm to his forehead, before waving another hand at them. “B’ nice, y’ hear me?!” he continued, before turning around and leaving the two alone…

To get a bad draw once was fine. But to have it happen twice, and with the same partnered pairing? The assistant could only sigh, before heading back towards the store room—because he’d heard the sound of aggressively-splashing water; and unearthly noises coming from the room where the temporary aquarium had been set up. He already knew, that from seeing his boss heading towards either the Nursery, the temporary Aquarium or out on the Ranch grounds proper with a scowl on his face meant that the attempt had fallen flat on its face. “A’igh’, a’igh’, I’ll get ta i’,” he muttered with a sigh as he then stopped by the store room once again and grabbed the rather crumpled paper bag at this point. After extracting one of the weird, funny-smelling mushrooms, he then proceeded to head to the back where the Alomomola was now attempting to reconcile with a very pissed-off Wailmer.
“Here y’ go,” he continued, tossing the second mushroom into the tank and hearing it land with a loud splashing noise. After turning around and leaving the two alone, he then felt something in his pocket vibrate—and quickly pulled out his mobile phone to check what he’d gotten this time. After scrolling through the message, he then saw that there was another request coming in; and this one was also for the Aquarium, albeit of a different species. After he’d received the code to enter in order to be able to extract the two that he needed to grab for the next attempt, he then keyed in the sequences and waited. Several minutes later, two containment units came dropping in with a clattering noise, and he quickly extracted them both…
…only to realize that one of them contained a gigantic, twenty-foot one, four-inch tall serpent shrunken down in miniature form; while the other one was something that looked like a mud fish!“I’… I’ he crazy?!” he could only mutter as he slapped a palm to his forehead and then decided to take a risk and headed out back, before seeing that the lakeside area was now being filled with water. “Gah, hope ‘eh don’ dry up,” he hissed as he then set the two loose—the first one turned into the aforementioned Gyarados, who let out a bellow; while the second turned into something he thought he’d never seen before. “A’igh’, b’ nice ta each oth’r, okay?” he said, waving his hands and catching the Gyara’s attention before indicating her…rather small partner, the Barboach.

Kouji had received a rather…alarmed text message from his assistant—even if the Barboach breeding had produced a pair of eggs with the requisite Egg Move that he’d asked him to get, he was still drawing blanks on the other pair—and it was quite the troublesome pair. After asking Purple to deliver the eggs to the Aquarium in Tyntill, he decided to take the matter into his own hands; and then went back to the store room again and checked the contents of the bag. He then furrowed his brow, because they were now apparently running low. Alright, note to self, buy a crapload more when you get to going out again… he thought, plucking one of the ‘shrooms and heading back to the temporary Aquarium set-up in the Ranch proper.
He’d also gotten word that the man-made lake was finally finished; but wasn’t exactly completely filled with water yet; so it was going to be a few more days of squirming and swimming around in the tank for the two. Good grief. May Arceus bless their souls, this is like the third try already… I wonder if that other guy also had a problem regarding these bozos… he mused to himself as he then saw that the Goldeen and the Alomomola weren’t exactly seeing each other eye to eye. “Alright, did he scare you or something?” he began, gently tapping the glass with his knuckles—that caused the two to turn around and face him. “Well, I don’t know if these ‘shrooms are doing good, or doing bad—I just really want you two to get along. Please?” he ended with the pleading tone that he reserved for especially nasty cases, as he then dropped the funky mushroom into the tank with another soft splash.
