elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.

It.... Wasn't quite often that Josh received any sort of phone call from the person that had asked him to come around after their talk. They seemed the type to keep to themselves when they could, but anything could happen he supposed. Walking in, he looked around at the expansive ranch and he had to admit it was pretty impressive. Of course, he had been here once before, picking up an egg, but he hadn't really gotten to look around until now.
He looked down at the note he had written down to record the items they had talked about. Finding an employee, he would mention the call and read off the "Request" line discussed.

"*Master Pafe, the most ludicrous thing happened to me today.*" Somewhat annoyed by what had happened in the early hours of the dy, Glint rose up to the desk his master was sitting at, reading over her emails as usual. "*This rude trainer pulled me aside as I was doing your accounts and just started spouting gibberish to me.*"
Kuto blinked, curious herself as to this rather strange behaviour, resting her head in her right hand. "What exactly was said, if you do not mind me asking?"
"*Larvitar, Chimchar, Eevee*"
"...I'll put in a call to Tasukai."

Another phone call, another trip to the ranch. This time, it was to pick up the eggs that had been laid currently. Josh thought back to last time he had been here and wondered if he had been a bit too hasty to get in and out. Possibly rubbed people the wrong way. Hopefully, this time he told himself, he could make things right.
The ranch was massive though. He wondered who owned it? There were tons of Pokemon here, quite possibly hundreds. It was as if someone was storing two armies in here. Whose armies? He didn't know.
This time, upon entry, Josh would approach the worker again, but this time Josh decided it was time to explain the situation, everything from the phone call, to the listing, to his haste to get in and out. He took his time, this time around, and sooner or later, he would pay the required dots for the two eggs that had been laid.
Josh recognized the Eevee egg as he loaded it and the Larvitar egg onto his customized motorcycle to take it to Dragomir Ranch. The other one though.. Well, he'd never seen a Tyrunt egg before, so he couldn't tell whether it was or not. But something about it's design seemed... Familiar. Like he'd seen it's palette and design somewhere.
Oops? Oh well.

Even though Ace had a well paying job, keeping up with 8+ Pokemon was sort of hard. He talked it over with Bugger about having him breed so he could make a little extra cash. The Larvesta had no issue with it and Ace began his search for a breeder. He went online and searched through, finally deciding upon one that had great reviews. He typed up an email and sent it her.
"Hello Ms. Pafe, Ace Venchurro here. I would like to request a breeding for my Larvesta, Bugger. He doesn't really care who his partner is, so whoever you got is fine with us. Thank you!"
Kuto drummed her fingers along her desk. It had been a long time since she'd had any work, detecive or breeding wise. Truth be told she was even getting a little bored. Her pokemon were not the most entertaining bunch, and her usual patron, Yumi Tasukai, had been oddly quiet. She stared at her emails, hoping for something to pop up.
And then it did. Her whole week's worth of breedings.

Another talk with Tatsuki had led to another trip to this particular breeder. Normally, Josh did his business with Izumi and Kouji, but a Riolu was something that the blonde couldn't resist. Josh would pull up to the ranch on a unique looking motorcycle, with Lightning riding in the little side seat with the cutest little helmet on. The bike would stop and the blonde would cut the engine. The built in seatbelts would snap off and he and the Pikachu would climb off the bike. Pulling off his helmet as they walked toward the building, Josh would shake his hair out to try and fix up the inevitable mess that he had from helmet-hair. What it ended up looking like was something you would see out of a Lo'real commercial, with the smooth and straight mass of long hair waving around smoothly in the breeze. After the first whirl around, Josh would grab a brush from his pack and fix it up now that the helmet hair mess was loosened up. "I REALLY need to cut my hair before Izumi makes another joke about being in a shampoo commercial..." the blonde muttered as he walked in.
Heading to the counter, he recognized the assistant and nodded over. "Picking up another order. Dragomir, Riolu Egg. Let Miss Pafe know to message me about payment, and whatever is needed will be sent to her account within the next day" he said calmly. The Pikachu stared up at the assistant, still with the cute little helmet on. After it was all said and done, the duo would exit the ranch, egg in hand get on the bike and leave.
[Claiming Riolu egg as she asked. Not 100% sure what Yumi wanted for price but she mentioned the rare tax and IOUs. I'll get ahold of her and get an official price set up]

Izumi was on the hunt for some of the things on her wish list; and apparently, Yumi had contacted her about one of the extra marbles that she had with her; and she was interested in acquiring it. In exchange, she’d agreed to let the raven-haired girl shorten down her wish list somewhat—a chance she decided to capitalize on. Now that she was heading over to Yumi’s preferred Breeder’s place—it looked like some people did have preferences when it came to certain services like this after all—she was tossing the duplicate Ampharosite up and down in her right hand; while there was an extra piece of paper in her pocket that had the three requests they could get to. Upon entering the site, she was surprised—it was nothing like the Gardens, which was always in utter chaos every time she dropped by—or like the Home, where peace and total silence reigned. This Ranch had a different feel about it—and the first thing she encountered was a Sableye… that was wearing a monocle.
Heh, kind of cute, kinda reminds me of the Chansey and the Krookodile that I see around his Ranch… she thought with a grin as she then went into a formal bow in the Sableye’s direction—and the purple, Hoenn-native—which happened to be slightly taller than most—apparently bowed back in her direction; or at least, that’s what she thought it did. She then reached out for another piece of paper from the stack of post-it notes that she’d noticed on the counter and then scribbled something on it, before leaving it atop the counter and then approaching the Sableye who was now eyeing her with much interest. She then began, unsure if she’d be understood, while handing the piece of paper to him, “Uhhm. Yumi sent me here; the marble that’s atop the counter is for her. She told me she frequents this place, so I’m leaving it for her to get here, in exchange for breeding out these three…” she trailed off, reaching for another piece of paper (the same one in her pocket) before handing it to the Sableye.
“Please let Yumi know about the marble, okay? Thank you,” she continued, bowing again before quietly exiting the premises. If the Sableye could understand Izumi’s slanted writing, there was a request to breed out the following Pokemon written on it: a Growlithe, an Eeve, and a Goomy.

When the call came through that the egg was ready to be picked up, Ace stopped by while he was out in the area. Taking the egg carefully in his arms, he left the payment and headed back out to go back to work.

Yumi's latest breeds had been picked up quickly, she was almost surprised people wanted insects so bad. Then again the other pokemon she had for pick up were somewhat more impressive. Taking her time looking over the post notes, she sighed as the name "Yumi" caught her eye.
"It seems we have another request from our almighty benefactor...lets get to work i suppose."

It didn’t take too long after she’d received word that at least two of the three requests had gone through; she figured that one of the three didn’t push through. Well, I can just drop by and get the other two now, then come back for the last one later… she thought as she then headed back to the same Ranch that she’d visited—normally she’d go over to her sponsor’s place to get things done; but seeing as he was busy with expanding the Ranch (and fulfilling other people’s requests) she decided to leave him alone—at least until the expansion was done and the place was ready for visitors again. Knocking on the door, she then entered—and saw that the same Sableye was there at the counter once again.
Remembering that she’d seen him bow, she then gave him a bow as a greeting—and then stared; because the Sableye had returned the bow; she really wasn’t imagining things after all! After approaching the counter, she then said, “Uhhm. I’m here for two of the three requests I dropped here the last week? It’s for the Goomy and the… Eevee. Yes, those two. I’ll be returning for the last one once there’s an egg ready,” she continued, producing two Incubators to load up the two eggs that she’d come to pick up.

Watching the trainer from earlier in the week return, Glint rolled up his newspaper. Learning how to read had helped him keep up with the world on his own time. Still, there was a time and a place, and right now he was techically working. He knew what to do, and dropped down to the incubators, opening up the two containers of her requests and placing them carefully on the desk for her, writing on a postet note.
