elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Entering the ranch, you find no one around, and only a sign left on the counter. "I'm currently away at the moment. If you have a request, email me. I will get back to you with the costs." Behind the counter there seem to be secure lockboxes to keep you pokemon in, should the owner ask you leave them with her.
"Glint. I swear to the mighty realm of Arceus that if you don't start taking this seriously I swear I will smash your monocle -AND- the eye behind it!" "*But young master I-*" "Enough!" Kuto rubbed at her tired eyes, frustrated by her normally obedient sableye. While she could not truly understand him, they had been together long enough for her to understand the general gist. The three of them, her, Glint, and Clara, Kuto's buneary, had been trying for a while to come to some sort of awkward arrangement about the business at hand. "Glint you have to understand, how am I supposed to be a master breeder if I can't even get my own pokemon, who are of the SAME EGGG GROUPS, to BREED."
The awkward silence set in for another moment or two, the death glare that was Kuto's default expression locked on her sableye, and, more specifically, his monocle.
"*Young master when you parents brought me to you years ago I don't think they-*" "You hate my parents. Next excuse." "*Well you see Ghost moves don't work on normal-*" "You know power gem, and ew? Next." "*.......Too much fluff-*" "Next!" "*Okay in all seriousness she's just not my thing.*" Kuto thought for a moment. "What IS your thing?" "*Honestly I'm not sure. But it ain't pokemon that remind me of 10 year olds." "Buneary!" The two glared off to Clara, who was paying little attention to the scene going on, and both sighed together in unison, Kuto sort of seeing the point her small pokemon had. "Okay, how about a compromise. You help me out this one time and I'll see if I can't evolve Clara soon." "*Do you think she'll grow a brain when she evolves?*" "I Can't really promise that." "*...eh. Good enough I suppose.*" The small pokemon walked over to the bouncing bunny, calmy grabbing her hand and dragging her off to the back garden. "*I would suggest you get back to your detective work master. We shan't be long.*" The small Buneary stared off into the distance, unsure why it was being dragged off by the crystal ghost type. "Bun?"

With the proper training and item, your newborn should be able to evolve within 14days of hatching at the earliest!

Finding the old breeding shack during her "regional checking" of Orre, Yumi was interested in the new breeder, and was especially eager to see what the new breeder could do. She had been minding to find someone who could breed something specific for her too...
"I was also hoping you might be able to breed My female Clamperl with my friends dratini.~ I know I'm asking a bit much But I'd really appreciate if you could do this for me~ I'll happily pay the rare tax.~"

Finding an email in her inbox, Kuto gave it a quick glance over. She innitially expected it to be an informant she had been waiting on, but instead it was a request from her breeding job. She was surprised to be getting work so soon, but at the same time she was glad someone took an interest.
"Please leave the pokeballs of these pokemon in my shack next time you're around. I have a set of lock boxes under the counter. Please place them in box 4, the code is 4564. I will email when I have bred them."

Kuto stood perplexed over the 3 eggs before her, glancing between the clamperl and the dratini that she could only assume had created them. Boy these two must have been at it while she was away. If all the pokemon she bred ha this kind of "active nature" she was bound to make a killing with this new business. Returning the the counter, still as perplexed as her butler Glint by the amount of eggs produced, she quickly typed up an email to the person who had lent her the two.
"Your egg is ready for pick up. You only requested one, so that's all I'll be selling. I have plans for the other two forming as I type. Please bring 70 dots for payment. There was no tax, but I would prefer not to skim out on a "special case.""

Yumi arrived at the ranch on a day Kuto had informed her she would be free, peeping her head in the front door and smiling as her Clamperl hopped over towards her, it's shell snapping open and shut with each hop before landing at the red head's feat, smiling up at her with a sweet smile.
"How ya been doing girl? Have fun?~" The small pokemon nodded, a faint blush apparent even on it's pink pearly features, causing the red head to chuckle ever so softly. "Glad to hear it. How's the dratini?" The perl nodded off to a pokeball on the counter, seeing it had already been returned, and that the blue haired ranch owner sat at the desk with an egg. Yumi was quick to head up to the desk, placing her 70 dots on the desk. "One dratini egg please.~"
Kuto drummed her fingers over the top of the egg she had with her at the counter, her eyes casually glancing at the clock to see if the red head who had left her the pokemon would be on time. Thankfully she was, as she soon heard the clopping like noise of the clamperl returning to it's trainer. Kuto had thought to keep the Dratini in the ball. It seemed to have a bit of a rough attitude, at lest since it bred. Her eyes followed the red head as she placed the dots on the table, removing her hand from the egg.
"Well everything is in order it seems. Please take the egg and the dratini. If you wish to do business in the future, do contact me."
She gestured to the exit, where her sableye glint offered Yumi a mint on the way out.

Now traversing the Orre region, Mae found his way to this shop and strolled in, wondering if there were any special Pokemon for sale. Upon seeing that a Dratini egg was available, he promptly walked up to the counter to note that the breeder in question was nowhere to be found. With a frown, he finally noticed the details to notify her over wifi. Pulling out his phone, he noted her contact information and wrote up a quick text.
This is Maelys Marone. I'd like to buy the Dratini Egg that you have for sale. Is 70 dots acceptable?
Kuto yawned as her eyes scanned the screen of her laptop. She had been researching a local coordinater that had hired her to help get some info on her current lover, mainly to check if he was having an affair. She did not use the word boyfriend as she believed they were probably not in a true relationship yet, especially since she ha found no mention of him in the online articles about this coordinater. A soft beep drew her from her work as an email appeared in her Breeding account. Reading it over, she quickly replied.
"70 dots will do well. Please come to my ranch on the 17th, 4 PM sharp to confirm your purchase."

With the message recieved, Maelys left the shop and went on to plan a schedule to return tomorrow at the specified time...
The Next Day...
A few minutes early, the white robed boy came walking back into the breeders shop, up to the counter, glancing at the shop owner. "I'm Maelys Marone, I requested the sale of your Dratini egg." With that he pulled out 70 dots and placed them onto the counter, waiting for the egg to be brought out.
Kuto fixed her cap as the visitor to her ranch stepped in, looking over a small document she had worked up. She wanted her business to feel professional, to an extent. So, as Mae approached, she turned the document, pointing at a spot for heim to sign. "If you don't mind, please put your name here. It's a simple documentation of my sales, and who I sell them to." Accepting the dots once the contract was signed, a small sableye wearing a monocle, Glint, came around the counter, holding an egg incubator and placing it at Mae's feet, retrieving the egg and holding it up to him.
