One new mail from The Blond Breeder!
Zernebog blinked as he pulled out his unfortunately-complicated smartphone. Sure it was so handy not to have to pay for fees for texting all the time, but sometimes it could get annoying. Especially when he was working right now in Kalos. Frankly he was shocked that there was signal here at all considering how far off from civilization right now.
However, it looked like it was important so he just sighed, wiped the sweat off of his brow, and took the phone out of his pocket. He made sure that he was out of the sun before he managed to read that part. Upon reading the message though, both of his eyebrows rose up to his hairline.
His grandfather had struck again. Apparently the old coot had sent him an egg by using his name and bank account. That old man was crazy... but if he even bothered then it must be good. Well, he'll just have to authorize the 25 dot transfer and see what this egg got him.

Esteemed Mr. Stavros,
Certain as I am that you sufficiently acquaintanced with the conventions and expenditures of a busy entrepreneur, and that you will not inquire about my circumstances, I will try to keep this message simple and short. It has come to my attention that a female Honedge has been recently bred in your establishments, resulting in three rather handsome eggs. I would like to offer the reasonable amount of •50 in exchange for two of them. I am open to negotiation, of course, in case you consider it to be necessary. All shipping and handling expenses will be covered by my party, and you should therefore not worry about them in the least.
Should you find yourself in need of further details, do not hesitate in contacting me in our Castelia offices. We will facilitate a money transfer as soon as we are notified of your response. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.

Two new messages!
Altair put down a travel brochure that he was reading. Why was he reading one, you ask? Well, he'd been cooped up here in his ranch for months and was starting to get cabin fever. This was the longest that he had ever stayed in one city since he had left the Wild Buccaneers all those years ago, and it really showed that he wasn't used to staying in one place anymore. He was more used to travelling around the world and having a hectic schedule that pulled him in several different directions at the same time.
Since Kalos had opened up recently, Altair had been thinking about visiting his grandmother's region of origin in order to see it for himself. He always loved her stories and he would love an opportunity to see everything that she was talking about in her stories in real life.
But before he could do that, he had to deal with these two pending transactions first. Business before pleasure, after all.

She knew (no thanks to wheedling it out of Kouji) that there was someone who was able to breed a Honedge for her—at least that would slash one ‘mon of her very lengthy wish list—and she was even more surprised to find out that it was the same person who had bred the Cyndaquil that was gifted to her by a certain red-headed individual (as she now had both mother and son in her possession)… and decided to bring along a certain Snorunt that she wanted to use in order to be able to breed. Knocking on the door, she then let it swing open, and she looked around, hoping that the Breeder she was looking for was around.
“Excuse me sir, are you here?” she called out, hoping that he was. Seeing that there was no reply, she then went straight over to the counter and tried to peer over it, to check if he was squatting behind it—and then decided to state her business. “Well, I have my Froslass here to partner, for a certain Honedge, as well as a Skrelp that Zerne has—“ she trailed off, still not used to calling him her ‘master’; and then continued, “…and he gave me his permission to use said Honedge in order to be able to breed for one of my own. I’ll send payment over once it’s successful,” she ended, tapping the counter once before setting down Yukiya’s as well as Myrina's PokeBalls on the counter, hoping that the blonde-haired man was even around.

It had been a slow couple of weeks for Altair. Instead of lollygagging around like most people who are set for life are wont to do with an extended vacation, he used that time to make some improvements to the ranch. One of them just happened to be an intercom system that his grandfather had been bugging him to set up for ages now.
It was getting its first test now as a vaguely familiar female voice suddenly sounded in his office, pitching in her request and invoking the name of his primary benefactor. Frowning to himself at the tone of her voice, he realized that no one must be manning the store right now. Those suspicions were confirmed when he heard no one answer her. He tsk'ed and jotted down a note to install security cameras to monitor his employees more effectively and then clicked a button.
"Alright, madam. I will be there shortly to take the pokemon from your hands and work with you on the paperwork. Just stay there and make yourself comfortable while you wait." With that, he clicked off the intercom and stood up.
The break was over. It was time to go back to work.

She had now received word that at least one of the Breeding Attempts was successful—however the other one didn’t go too well. Wondering what was up, she then dug around in her pocket and saw that she had enough for the transaction—and then shuffled over to the nearest ‘money-transfer’ service that was available in the area, and then wired off the money to the blondie. Well Zerne didn’t tell me his given name so… she thought as she then decided to go raid the ranch herself and get back at least one of the two ‘mons she’d lent in an attempt to get the Skrelp bred successfully. After traversing through the city—and avoiding several encounters as well—she now found herself outside the familiar place at last, and then knocked on the door, before ringing the doorbell just once—and then stepping inside.
As always there was nobody behind the counter—why was it set up that way—but at that moment someone dashed out, and caught sight of who had just entered the store. She then turned to him and then said, “I’m here to get the Skrelp egg, I’ve already sent payment over to your boss, wherever he is… and one of my associates would be sending over an item to retry for another attempt with the Honedge breeding…” she said, sitting herself down in the nearest chair she could locate and waited for the ‘assistant’ (or crew member, whatever) to shuffle back inside and then present her with the incubator that held said Skrelp egg. A few moments later, he returned and set down said incubator, along with a familiar-looking PokeBall, she then walked over and pocketed said PokeBall before hefting up the incubator in her hands. “Tell your boss I said thank you, and I’ll be back,” before giving a slight bow and exiting the premises.

One of his breedings being a failure? That was unacceptable... or at least that was what his grandfather would say if he were here and not lollygagging around somewhere in Kalos, who had just recently opened her gates to the world.
Altair could care less about his father's approval after all of the stupid things he pulled after his mother's death, but for him he couldn't bear to disappoint one of the few people who stayed sane and mostly believed in him throughout his more troubled times. There was just something... awful about that that tasted like ashes in his mouth.
Besides, he wasn't a quitter. Like with the Goomy breeding, he was going to keep at it until these two creatures finally bore fruit like they were destined to be. Altair would make sure of it.
Why else would he have fed a Romantic Mush to the creepy -yet cool- sentient sword in order for another go at the breeding?
What luck it was that the heiress was able to just happen upon a Golden Egg Society listing that contained a very rare Pokemon - an Amaura, of all things. She had only seen the fossils that the DNA was stored within, kept in the Kalos region, as well as the scientific videos on the success of reviving them and reintroducing them into the wild. It was quite a lucky catch, then, to find one all the way out here and over here, and so it was with pleasure that she booked passage to get to the gardens in question.
Once within, she made sure to go and seek out the person in charge of the establishment in order to place her appropriate order, so to speak. "I would like to place a breeding, sir - I am seeking an Amaura egg. Any suitable partner will suffice, and I leave it to your discretion to choose those variables and such. I am willing to accommodate any difficulties you may encounter, of course..."

She had now gotten word that a certain ‘pretty boy’ had sent over something that would help her in the ‘rescue’ breeding; since only one of the two breeding requests she’d requested had produced something; she then sniggered to herself as she dialed a number and then began punching in some options; before getting the message that the ‘rescue attempt’ had actually produced something! She could now sigh in relief and cross out two Kalos-specific ‘mons from the extremely long wish list; and then decided to send over payment as soon as she was able; because she needed the ‘mon sent over to her in Kalos—as she was now trying to uncover the mystery of the so-called ‘Mega Stones’ and everything else associated with them.
I hope that this does not take too long; I better bring along a balanced team, otherwise I’d end up being in big trouble at this point… she thought to herself as she then went over to the nearest money-transfer facility and wired over the required price to Altair; hoping that it reached him in good health. Ahh, now I can relax… somewhat. I better integrate these two as soon as possible into the team so that I can proceed in making even more strategies… and then I can find out the secret of this so-called ‘Mega Evolution’… she thought to herself as she sent an email message to Altair as well, informing him that the egg needed to be sent over to this new-fangled region, and included the address of where she was staying over in the meantime.

For once, Altair was manning the cash register. Granted, it was in disguise since he still couldn't risk being recognized by his fans especially since he was picking up on his movie career again. Still, that meant that the girl was lucky to have the main head of the establishment already at her beck and call when she came in and placed her order.
On his end, Altair was just glad for something to do to break the monotony after he had finished with that Yamamura girl's order. "Of course, ma'am. I will get to it shortly. Expect results within the week, barring unavoidable unfortunate circumstances."
Altair was confident in his ability to get the girl what she wanted, but he had to be careful regardless because failure has happened to him before. That blasted Goomy breeding was simply the penultimate example of constant failure that he had to rectify. However, it also represented his greatest success in the breeding scene so far so he wasn't so ticked.
