Yumi had been told by Damian that it would take a week for him to finish tinkering with the machine, so here she was, two weeks later to be on the safe side, in a small, clear portion of Nue's un-inhabited locations. Truth be told it wasn't too far from bayonadeville, but was, at the same time, just far enough out of the way that you'd have to squint to see any of the fishing villages boats in the distance. The reason for Yumi's choice in the location was two fould. On one hand, it was a nice, open area, that was a fair distance away from any towns or villages of worth. Not only that but par perhaps the coast itself, there were no notable pokemon habitats like trees or caves there little "experiment" could possibly disturb.
The second reason? That was down to Agatha. The elderly elite once told the red head, a few moments before giving her the device they were about to use, that this mighty beast she searched for lay on one of the outer islands of Nue, more specifically, it lay to the southeast. Even this close to the edge of the mainland, it was hard for her to see those misty looking islands in the distance, but the closer she was, the more confidence it gave her that this machine might actually work.
"Not long now Ko-ken..." The fighter stood beside her, looking out to the small islands in the distance, Enzo resting down at his feet. Yumi knew full well that if this worked they could be down for one hell of a showdown with some pseudo lord of the skys, so who better to bring than her favorite dragon? "And you too Enzo. Rest while ya can. That scar ain't playin up is it?" The charizard shook his head, letting out a confident puff of flame as he slowly rose himself up. With a smile to her pokemon, glad they were ready for a possible "success" in this little test, Yumi checked her phone, wondering how long it had been since she'd sent both Damian and Josh the texts to meet her here.

Josh had gotten the text from Yumi and had left immediately. Josh had left on Fawkes, his Charizard, in hopes of getting there as soon as possible. He wouldn't miss the summoning of Lugia for the world. He and Fawkes had gotten along much better as of late (As this takes place after Creed) and Josh felt he could trust Fawkes to get them there in time, not to mention he knew he would trust Fawkes above all in the case that they got into a scrap, either along the way or should Lugia prove to be.. Less then friendly. Lightning had also accompanied him, as always, and the three had flown the full way up until they had decided to make a pit stop in Bayondeville in order to re-stock on provisions, get a rest after the long flight, and for Josh to try and get his ground legs back. It was there that they'd been attacked by a Tangela that had been causing a ruckus in the city, swinging from building to building and sneaking into the windows of the townsfolk, stealing their food and other items, and stocking them somewhere, other times just attacking random tourists and townsfolk. Josh, after the attack, had warded the Tangela off, and had caught it in the process. Once they were all rested up, Josh had decided to walk the rest of the way, since it wasn't too far off from there.
The whole thing had been quite the roller coaster ride. Josh had gone from meeting up with Yumi all the way back in the Sevii Islands near Kanto, to encountering hordes of Pokemon, to encountering Agatha, to finding out she was a member of Team Rocket, to their little confrontation, and now all of this. Through all of it, he had to admit he'd grown a lot closer to the redhead then he had ever thought he would. But right now, they had to prepare for whatever was in store for them.
Josh would catch sight of Yumi as they came near. Fawkes had been returned to his Pokeball to rest after the long journey, and Josh had elected to travel with Lightning walking by his side. On his head, sat a Goomy, by the name of Goomba. He figured Goomba could use a bit of exploration time to see the world, he just hoped he'd go back in his Pokeball if there was trouble. Granted, the Goomy was no slouch in combat. Just a little bit cowardly.
"Hey, Yumi!" Josh would call out as he caught sight of the redhead, waving out to her once he came near before stopping in front of her. "Came soon as I could. So, this is it, huh?" He asked. He had to admit, he had goosebumps. He was nervous. He'd always wanted to meet Lugia...

It had taken a bit longer than expected; so for the past two weeks Damian had literally pushed himself to the limits; the better to understand the contraption that stood on one of his work tables. He’d gone through several pots of brewed coffee just to keep awake; several nights he’d fallen asleep at the table without realizing it.
He’d written out a rather extensive report regarding the weird machine; and much as he wanted to flip all the switches at the same time; he knew that there was a system to all this, and had therefore commenced to search through the entire League database for specs that were similar to the machine that the female redhead had brought to him some time ago.
He then yawned as he checked his mobile phone once more; and saw that there was a message indicating the place where they were going to try and get the darned thing kick-started. To be on the safe side, he’d brought majority of his original team along—but had swapped out Terra for Claire at the very last second. He didn’t know if Nazca’s Teleportation was going to go crazy again, so he then blocked off the entire day (as well as the next few days after it) and then prepared to make the trip to the proposed location; making sure to bring the contraption along with him.
Once he’d wrapped it up safely (and had secured his team of six in his white lab jacket) he then made his way out of the labs, making sure to lock everything down and then headed over to the designated meeting spot. Thankfully, it wasn’t going to be any near populated areas—the problem was that it was going to be actually getting there. Several hours later, if the female redhead would care to look, she’d spot a taller male making his way up the crest of a hill, package wrapped and nestled under his left hand and calling her attention.
“Thanks for giving me the extra time to research this thing,” he shouted by way of greeting; before catching sight that she wasn’t alone—she had someone else with her! “So, uhh… let’s do this,” he continued, quickly finding a nice, clear spot and unwrapping the package, before laying it bare for the other two humans to see.

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi would perk up as she heard the call of Josh in the distance, hopping quickly to her feet and opening her arms in greeting, both Enzo and Ko-ken similarly pleased to see the blonde. While they may not have understood the danger today may hold, they certainly appreciated the fact that the blonde trainer they had come to know as a friend would be here to battle whatever threat they faced together.
"Nice to see you could make it Blondie." She would give him a quick hug, bro style before stepping back to ruffle his hair, only to be met with the slightly sticky goomy instead, swiftly waving the slime off her hand. "Good thing you brought Fawkes. We're gonna need some heavy fire power today I think. Both literally and figuratively."
Not long after Yumi's bright smile would widen once more as she spotted Damian, giving him a confident smile to hid her own nerves about the possibilities of the day, resting her hands on her hips and striding over towards the spot he had chosen to set the device up on, Ko-ken and Enzo following swiftly behind. Yumi nearly didn't recognize it. It was exactly the same as when she had left it of course, she had just never spent that much time with it herself to begin with. Heck, you coulda showed her anything and said it was the summoning device, and she'd likely believe you.
"We're ready when you are Damian. Josh is the backup I told you about. Josh, meet Damian, Damian, Josh." Getting the introductions out of the way, she excitedly rubbed her palms together through her gloves. "So you think you can work it?"
(If possible, we should have this be the last round of posts. So on Damian's post after mine now, he flips the switches.)

Josh would accept the hug, hugging her tightly, a little tighter then usual perhaps as a crack at him joking before that he could have just bearhugged her instead. Josh knew full well the likely danger they would find, but he tried to be as lighthearted about it as possible. He couldn't help but laugh when Yumi would try to ruffle his hair, only to be met with his Goomy. "This is Goomba. I've been letting him come with me more often as of late" He would greet would a smirk. "Also" He said, pulling the Goomy off his head for a moment. "I'm wearing a hat, didn't wanna get sticky. I call it my Goomy Hat" He cracked with a laugh as he would put the Goomy back, before ruffling Yumi's hair playfully instead.
"Aye, I brought Fawkes. He's resting in his Pokeball for now, but hopefully he'll be ready by the time we do this" Josh answered Yumi before he noticed the Professor she had mentioned, or so he assumed, coming along their way. He nodded when Yumi introduced them. "A pleasure" He said, before taking a breath, eagerly waiting to see how Damien would be summoning Lugia...
Post by Damian Moreau on May 3, 2015 1:26:04 GMT -5
After the brief introductions had been made, he then nodded towards the other male (who was almost just as tall as he was) and quickly wrapping up the carrying cloth he’d used to transport the strange contraption around his arm. “Alright. To be fair, I spent the last two weeks trying to figure out if there was a sequence of switches that needed to be flipped in order to get it running at full power—but truth be told, even after going through the League’s research archives, I’ve found very little on this particular machine,” he began, before making a gesture towards the two to ‘back away’ from where he stood.
“I actually contacted my colleagues over in Arkose and asked for more details about that ‘riot’ in the Sevii Islands… the place where this machine came from… and they said that some crazy-serious shit went down there,” he remarked, before examining the simple, unsuspecting contraption with a critical eye.
Damian then snorted for a few moments, before turning around to face them and continued, “So that colleague of mine who told me about the riot said that it was highly possible that something…of massive proportions came and caused that havoc.Whether or not it was caused by this dinky little machine, we’ll find out shortly. I highly suggest getting your own best firepower ready…” he said in their general direction, before he himself plucked out a certain containment unit and sent out his Ampharos, who landed on the grass in a flash of red light before looking around rather curiously.
“Claire. Stand there. Right there,” he began, gesturing to the spot beside him, before he flipped the contraption around and exposed the row of switches for the world to see. “Initially,” he continued, turning his attention back to the two individuals who were there with him, “…my colleague pitched the theory that the riot was caused by something that had been summoned. From local reports, they said it was a Flying-type. Due to the reports of the being summoned having a whitish coloration, the three ‘original’ legendary birds from Kanto had been ruled out, as well as the stratosphere-dweller from my home region of Hoenn.
That also ruled out the three ‘genies’; or whatever you could call them, from Unova. Now, I don’t know just how many legendaries there are in Sinnoh; or if the one from Kalos that can fly is white—that leaves us with two possible options…” he trailed off, before quickly flipping everything in one go; several loud clicking noises resonating through the air.
“Either we get the rainbow-flier, or the one that was initially reported in the documents!” he shouted as the strange contraption came to life, whirring and buzzing silently—before scrambling backwards as fast as he could manage, Ampharos waddling by his side.
All at once, it was quiet. Perhaps the humans in the group would fail to pick up on it, and those domesticated Pokemon would miss out on it - but this was not the silence of nature that inspired beauty and happiness. The music of life was all at once sucked out of the place. No breeze. The sea, for a single moment, was still and calm like a pond - no waves, no surges, not even the movement of the fish and gulls that seemed to erase themselves out of existence. It was the eye of the storm.
Without warning, a single spire of water shot up from their left and went up, up, up. breaching the sky and going out of sight. Another joined it as soon as the first had, then another - several formed up and reached towards the sky, crude towers of water imposing themselves up. Dark clouds surged forth, beginning in Rorschach patterns before numbing the light of the sky entirely and staining it grey and soot from an infernal place. The water receded, falling down in collapsing patterns that were violent, vast, smashing into the ocean. The dark clouds poured down rain, stinging drops that felt more like a storm than any true summer precipitation. The howling of wind began, slowly, but it seemed to be picking up.
Then it rose. It started as the shadow of the sky below them, the dark blue of the ocean silhouetting the size of this creature as it seemed to be outstretched under the newly formed currents. It was the only brief warning they would get before the first attack fired off, directly up - a powerful blast of wind and water that tore into the clouds above, a beam that seemed to rip into the air and grated against your ears. Before the ocean swell from this attack subsided, the beast rose, streamlining itself and firing off into the air. A massive column of water - easily twice the size of the first ones to appear - rose with it, keeping it hidden in the darkness and shade. Eyes opened wide and stared down the humans who gathered - bright, with no discernible pupil. The water fell from it with its first wing beat and it studied them for a moment before letting out a cry, one of a true apex predator. They had woken up something that should have been kept silent, and now it was going to be heard.
The clouds continued to roll out into the distance, spreading into the horizons at all sides. The ocean's waves rocked, harsh blows upon the rocks and beach. Lugia was here, and its mouth opened for another Aeroblast attack directly at the group.

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
Yumi would listen to Damian's little explanation of his past week. She had been curious afterall how he'd go about getting this device to work. Would he just follow the wires? Maybe it had neeed a new powers source. Yumi could rattle through ideas all day, but in truth, from the looks of what was going on right now, most of Damian's time had been spent trying to figure out exactly what he was summoning. The work he was doing on the actual machine just seemed to be flicking the switches. The red head just hoped that whatever order he ended up flipping them in, it'd actually work.
She was about to turn and ask Josh what he thought about all this. Whether he was ready for a battle that was likely to come, if he was excited or scared. Even if he thought they could possibly capture this powerful pokemon they were supposedly summon...
But then it came. The calm before the storm.
It was subtle, but it was there. Ko-ken, Enzo, Yumi, even the pokemon in their balls could feel it. The uncomfortable silence was almost deafening. Yumi was sure time had frozen for a moment as the only activity anywhere close to them was the inner workings of the device between them. Even Yum's breaths seemed to come to a complete and utter halt as the calm persisted. There was a moment of fear, excitement, worry, all rolled into one.
And then the innevitable followed. The storm.
With no true warning or indication, the ocean seemed to become...enraged. Almost lashing out at the sky above as the pillars of water fired into the sky, tearing apart the clouds with no discrimination. Yumi backed away from the shore, even risking getting closer to the device that was suposedly summoning this chaos. She could only watch in both confusion and fear as the water's seemed to display nothing but pure fury...and yet still a small part of her held excitement, and it was slowly breaking through in the almost worriesome smile amidst the chaos.
"It...it acutally worked...!"
The seas calmed for a moment before the "true" chaos began. Even as the rain began to pour down, stinging her skin even through her clothes, both Ko-ken and Enzo preparing for whatever was about to come, Yumi only felt a strange sense of excitement, backing away with a jolt as the huge beam of concentrated storms penetrateboth the sea and the sky, a final torrent of water following soon behind, hiding the true form of the beast they were to face.
"He's amazing."
She stood there for a moment, completely awestruck by the mighty beast that hovered in the sky before them, unaware of the attack it was about to summon forth, even as the concentrated storm that was the aeroblast began forming as a sphere in Lugia's maw. In all honesty, she may have stayed like that until it was too late. The only thing that snapped her from her trance was the hard impact she suddenly felt to the side of her waist, hitting the ground hard and scraping her face a little against the dirt, coughing up the dirt she had nearly sallowed as the sound of earth being ripped apart sounded behind her at a nearly deafening volume. It didn't take her long to realize both Enzo and Ko-ken had lifted her and forced her out of the way of the blast, before the attack itself had created such a forced that it had knocked the two pokemon off of their feat. Yumi's look of awe became one half flilled with fear as she looked at the destroyed earth that lay were she once stood...
Had Josh and Damian even gotten out of the way?
She wasn't given a chance to check. Gripping her face, Ko-ken began to shout his poke-language at her. Even if she could have understood him the storm made it hard to hear what he was roaring at her, even so close to her face. From the look in his eyes, he was either furious with her, or protective of her right now. Before she knew it, she had been tossed onto Enzo's back, the mighty fire lizard leaping up into the sky with a flap of his wings, bearing the weight of the constant rain and the two humanoids on his back, letting out a mighty roar as he tried to flee from the scene.
"W-where are we-?" The moment Yumi realized her pokemon were trying to make an escape, she reached for Enzo's horns, gripping them a little too hard. "NO! We summoned this thing! We're dealing with it!" She didn't need to even look at Ko-ken to tell he was about to object, and swiftly gave the strongest counter she could think of, adrenaline flowing through every inch of her body. "I know you two wanna protect me! I get that, I do! But we are not leaving Josh and that professor behind! Heck, we're not even leaving Bayonada at this thing's mercy! If we can even keep this thing's attention for a few seconds, we're doing it. Got that!?"
There was another moment of silence. Even amongst the rain it was strangely quiet. Both Enzo and Ko-ken seemed to focus on Yumi's words. There was calm...
And then came the storm.
"CHARRRRRRRRRRRR!"
With a mighty beat of his wings, Enzo flipped in the air, time freezing for a moment around Yumi as she gripped hard on her dragon, his body flipping around to give his trainer and fellow pokemon a more stable platform as he flew straight for the far larger, and far more intimidating beast of the ocean. "Alright boys! This is it!" With a small glance to the ground, Yumi would hope to catch a glimpse of Josh and the Professor. The storm made it too hard for her to even catch so much as a glimpse at the ground below, everything just a fuzzy haze of green and brown. It took a hard shake of her head to get rid of her fears. Josh was a good trainer...he knew what to do.
"Enzo! Fire blast! Ko-ken! Stone edge!"
Yumi wasn't even sure her words could be heard over the ensuing chaos surrounding them, but she knew her words weren't even needed. As if they had just been waiting to her go ahead, both pokemon committed to the plan of attack the moment Yumi began to speak, Enzo's maw filling with bright, furious flames before spewing the burning flames forth in a ball of fire, thankful that, however mighty this target was, it was a huge target. The rain was clearly weakening his attacks, but right now Yumi just needed to test the water's so to speak. The moment the strike was fired Enzo diverged off his course towards the god, making sure they had plenty of room ro manuver as he took them to the skies above the enraged entity. With a thrust of his fist as they rose, Ko-ken fired a barrage of sharp stones through the sky, barrelling after the fire blast, hoping he too would have at least some effect on this god like being.
They were in the eye of the storm now, and it was nowhere near as calm Yumi had been lead to believe.

Josh listened carefully as Damian would explain a few things. He was honestly unsure if this Professor even knew how to work the machine, judging by his explanation. But his talk of riots and this machine possibly being the reason that a serious calamity happened caught his interest, and the blonde would raise an eyebrow. Was this guy serious? And he didn't think to maybe check this sort of thing out before blatantly using it again with a freaking TOWN nearby!? Josh looked over at Yumi with an uneasy look, perhaps one of "Are you SURE we should be letting this guy mess with this kind of potentially dangerous tech?".
He then mentioned the idea that it had been caused by some kind of Pokemon... Josh listened to the description, and it was obvious... It was Lugia, alright. He remembered that his father was fascinated with Lugia at one point when Josh was really young. He'd spent time talking to people who had claimed to see it, had spent so much time drawing what he thought to be Lugia based on those descriptions. But he could never get any pictures from them... And he had never gotten to see it himself. Josh had been awestruck by all of those pictures he'd drawn... He was sort of excited to see if Lugia matched them.
Regardless, he knew it was best he got his best firepower ready... He would take Fawkes's Pokeball off his belt and bring out the Charizard. Fawkes let out a hefty roar, and Yumi might notice the odd piece of apparel on Fawkes's chest. Some kind of chestpiece, being blue and black in color, with red patterns on it. In the center, was the Charizardite X that Josh was given as a gift from Izumi Yamamura. It seemed that Josh had given Fawkes the stone after an event that happened between them and some sort of chestpiece had been made for holding it for him, similar to what Yumi had done for Enzo. He took a deep breath as the machine would begin to work...
Something... Didn't seem right, he felt it. It was quiet, too quiet. This just felt... Off. He looked to Yumi again, then to Lightning, Goomba and Fawkes. They all looked uneasy. He took a deep breath, trying to relax himself. Deep down though... He had the jitters. The nerves. The willies. The heeeebiiiieee jeeeeebiiiies. The yummy yonkers. Well, okay. Maybe not the heebie jeebies or the yummy yonkers, but he definitely had butterflies in his stomach.
Just like that, a single spire of water shot from the murky depths. Old instincts welled up in Josh's gut as his hand went to one thing that he never thought he'd use again after Richissime, as well as his time in Kotaku - His field knife. He'd wanted to replace it after Richissime, due to the memories it carried... But at the same time, it defined a part of who he was, a man who would do whatever it took to protect the ones that he loved. Then more and more pillars of water spawned, each stronger then the last. Josh was completely on edge here.
The ocean... It was as though they had angered it. The wind picked up, rain began to fall as dark clouds gathered. It was a bad omen, indeed. The whole thing just felt... Cryptic. Ominous..... Wrong.
Finally, a large blast would erupt from the sea, shooting into the clouds above. A powerful Aeroblast that made Josh's eyes go wide, bugged out. And then... Just like that... It appeared. In all of its ferocity, its grace... It was Lugia.
"A-A-Ah.... A-Ah-Ah-Ah.... A-Ah...." Was all that could escape the blonde's lips as he stood there in stunned near-silence. While the pictures his dad drew weren't 100% accurate... They were close enough for him to identify their features on this Pokemon and confirm... This was indeed Lugia. And he was getting to see it in person... Even if it was rather... Terrifying.
Lightning, Goomba and Fawkes were stunned as well. But the moment that it made a little movement, as if preparing for something... Goomba would use his sticky body to inch down from Josh's hat, with the biggest "Screw this, I'm out of here" face you'd ever see on a Pokemon before he got to his Pokeball and tapped it, returning to the capsule. Yep. Goomba the Goomy was a coward.
"Nope, screw that. Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. You're on your own. Nope. Nope. I'm out of here. Nope."
It seemed that Goomba had the right idea, as right then, Josh realized just what the Lugia was doing...
"LOOK OUT!" Josh would call to Yumi and Damian, as Lightning would climb onto his shoulder and Fawkes would scoop the two onto his back as he would take to the air, narrowly avoiding the Aeroblast by a hair, Josh hung onto Fawkes for dear life, as did Lightning. Once he could see again when the smoke began to clear, he looked down, hoping to god that Yumi, and even that professor, had made it out alright... He took a deep breath. He didn't want to harm Lugia, but it was obvious that they needed to defend themselves.
"Fawkes, use Fire Spin!" Josh would call to the Charizard, who would shoot jets of flame from its maw that would try to trap Lugia in place, and hopefully give them an opportunity to think and regroup. Or at least give them a moment to escape if necessary. He would look to Lightning, and the two would nod in unison.
"Lightning... USE THUNDER!" Josh would call, loud enough for even Yumi to hear, likely an indication to get the hell out of the way. It was raining, it was storming... This didn't fare well for Lugia. Lightning would climb onto Josh's head, as he would remove the sticky hat and put it away so he wouldn't get his feet stuck. "Pika...." Lightning began as his cheeks would spark, building up energy. "CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" He would let out as he would loose a flurry of electricity that would shoot into the sky. Within moments, a thunder cloud would catch hold of it, and it would send a lightning strike barreling down toward Lugia. A fitting signature move for a Pikachu named Lightning, right?
He hoped they could incapacitate it... Or at least get it to calm down. He didn't want to hurt it, but if they didn't fight, it would certainly bring them, and possibly the rest of Nue, harm...

Once he’d managed to back away accompanied by the waddling Ampharos, he then reached behind him for his backpack and then began fishing something out of it—when he felt a chill run up his spine. He looked up and saw that there was a water spout that had seemingly pierced the heavens—but it wasn’t the only one to do so. It was followed by several more—and as he affixed his gaze to the sky, thunder echoed all around; lightning coming not too long after. There was this horrible grating noise that then rocked the area, and he was forced to clamp his hands over his ears for a few seconds—until it had seemingly died down; before a singular spout, much larger than the others, rose up unbidden and then suddenly burst open, revealing…
…a sight that he never thought he’d witness. He only had a few moments to stare before the first motions of the summoned Pokémon was to just basically wreak havoc—and while the other two were staring shell-shocked, he then resumed his whipping around before finally managing to get the one thing he’d been seeking to grab—a waterproof camera! As he fumbled with the switches in order to turn it on (and start recording) a telltale sound hung in the air—before ripping through the space, screaming at the three of them!
“Oh, shi—“ were the only words that had formed out of his mouth as he stared, before the panic kicked in and he quickly grabbed his Ampharos with a free hand, diving off to the one side; much like the blonde-haired Trainer had done. This didn’t happen without damage, however—he felt himself skidding hard against the muddy ground along with the Ampahros who was bleating out of shock at what was going on.
“THIS IS WHAT THAT TINY MACHINE SUMMONED?!” he roared over the howling wind, before fumbling again with his camera and finally managing to flick it on; even through the harsh rainfall he was very much determined to secure actual, legitimate proof that the ‘beast of the sea’ did exist. His hands were trembling; and he caught a flurry of movement—what were the two thinking, going up against that beast?!
Amidst the howling and rumbling wind, he knew that he had to get as close as he could—and finally managed to pluck out the containment unit he was searching for while holding up his right hand and beginning to film the madness in silence—and a second flash of red light announced the appearance of his volatile Aerodactyl. “Claire, get back in here!” he shouted over the pouring rain, recalling the shell-shocked Ampharos back into her containment unit; before looking at the Aerodactyl with what appeared to be trust—or horror.
“Volée, I know we have some unresolved issues… but can you take me up into the sky? I’ll feed you all the meat later, I swear… if we get back alive!” he shouted over the din, before the somewhat-docile Aerodactyl then looked at him, before shrieking at the huge monstrosity that was Lugia. “Please? I need to get film on this!” he hollered, wiping the mud off his face with his other hand before the Aero let out a roar, and then lowering himself on the ground.
“Oh, thank Arceus. I swear I’ll stuff you with meat later!” he recounted, before giving a gently pat and the Aero took off into the sky, battling against the strong winds that were howling everywhere. His right hand was trembling as he struggled to hold the small camera in his hand; trying to get a clear image of the blue-and-white sea beast that was now currently ‘going on a rampage’, for lack of better wording.
Resistance was futile. The storm around them continued to grow in fury and strength, with the winds becoming deafeningly loud and the cold chill of the rain burning right into your bones. Everything was wrong, even the way the storm twisted in the skies, pillars of water moving up into the clouds once again in the distance.
The Sawk and Charizard's attacks came in, hitting Lugia on the wing and causing it to roar. This was not the roar of pain, however, this was the cry of something far more painful. This was the mighty lion bitten by an ant, the cockroach bothering the man at the table. Lugia's eyes turned to stare at Yumi and its mouth opened wide, but then it flicked its attention to the other Charizard, the other puny pest here. It was going to attack the god of the seas with fire.
It was cute. Or it would have been, had the situation been something altogether different. The great sea beast cried out and the fire attack was met with another water funnel, absorbing up the flames and falling away as the Lugia flapped its wings and flew forward to be right over the cliff, glowing and shattering the entire cliff below it. The place where they had all gathered in the first place was smashed to pieces, pieces that then glowed with the same aura of Lugia as they all scattered and flew at the flying ones, much like flak used to shoot down planes.
The great sea beast's glow brightened before it opened up and fired off another deadly blast, launching the beam right at Yumi before moving its head to drag the attack towards the others as well.
Please use post notes for the rest of this thread. Thank you. Lugia blocked the Fire Spin with a water funnel and took all the other attacks. Lugia then fired off am Extrasensory attack at the cliff and used Ancient Power to throw the cliff's parts at everyone. Lugia then used Future Sight, and followed up with another Aeroblast.

"YES OUR TEETH AND AMBITIONS ARE BARED! BE PREPARED!"
"What is this thing...?"
Those where the only words Yumi could muster, as she watched the white leviathan before her take everything they throug at him and not so much as flinch. Even in his roar, Yumi could feel it, that unmistakable anger towards someone lesser than you trying to do you harm. Yumi knew it well, she felt it a lot fom any number of her "team mates" back in her rocket days. Still, they had it's attention, that much was clear, afterall it hadn't just flown off the moment it arrived had it? And it certainly didn't just want to cause chaos, otherwise it would have flown to bayonada ville....it wanted them. Her, Josh, Damian. They had angered this beast by calling it here, and now they had to deal with the consequences.
But could they?
Yumi just watched with mixed amazement and horror, as with a flick of his wing, the mighty god of the sea seemed to anhialate any hopes they had of attacking it with fire, as if this storm wasn't ruining their chances enough. Already Yumi was thinking of heading back to the cliff, maybe hop off of Enzo and change him for someone else. Would Rorigez be better? He could handle storm flight afterall. The rain of the storm stung against her skin as she was lost in frantic thought, the guilt she had always held from the rockets seeming to intensify, welling up like a stone in her chest that was ready to choke her. She had done it, gotten away from the rockets, gotten a real life, even made a friend for the first time in her damn life that wasn't a pokemon, and yet still, here she was, throwing everything she had gotten away by risking not just her life, but Josh's too. Even as she cried out to him to prepare for the worst, she could hardly hear it herself, the rain stinging her skin and the swirling winds making it difficult for her voice to travel even an inch, let alone the vast distance between herself and Josh. She needed to think of some plan.
With a tug of Enzo's horns, knowing full well he'd be unable to hear her, she turned to the cliff, wanting a sense of land for a moment when something horrific met her eyes. In a flash of energy...the Lugia had ensured their was no cliff to return to.
"No...it can't be that powerful...h-how could it..." Yumi wasn't even sure what she was about to ask herself, her words didn't even reach her own ears anyway. Without even seeming like it had to put any effort into it, the angered god had just obliterate a mass of earth that was...the power it must have taken to...and the fact that Lugia didn't even seem to struggle!? She couldn't comprehend the power they were facing for a moment. She was lost, her eyes shaking in their sockets as she gripped Enzo to keep herself stable, each breath shakier than the last. She was a confident trainer, ready to face anything...but this was dangerous. This was life threatening...this...
This was Albedo. It was that same fear all over again. Not just for her life, but for her pokemon, and now for her friends.
"ZAAARD!"
The roar of Enzo snapped her back to life, piercing even the storm, but it was all she heard, and all she saw. A shove from her side had her falling from the Charizard's back, her breath catching before nothing but screams filled the air around her, frantically grabbing for the air and the dragon above her, and then there was earth. The destroyed cliff shot throug the sky above her and removed both Enzo and Ko-ken from her vision. She was still falling, and the rain continueto fall, but for a moment, she felt nothing. Where there should be a stabbing pain in her heart that would make her pierce the storm with a scream, there was only...nothing. Numb. An endless numb that seemed to to go on for eternity. It was a terrifying, endless calm.
And like it had many times already today...the calm only made way for the storm.
Gritting her teeth hard, her tears mixing with the the rain on her face, Yumi forced herself to move. Another few seconds and she'd be hitting the waves, hard. With a flash of red she spread the light of a pokeball beneath herself immediately met with her fall being softened by a magnet rise, a metagross now beneath her feet flying swiftly accross the surface of the churning sea, for the white beast they faced, Yumi's eyes burning deeper than any flame Enzo could have mustered.
"You've done it now..."
Yumi was right. This was just like Albedo. There was fear, the stone in her chest, the want to just run and hide...but the moment this fucker touched one of her babies it was game over for him. There was a final hopeful glance to the sky above, but with no sign of her dragon or a falling sawk, she grit her teeth once more and turned her fiery gaze to the Lugia above them.
"Caeser! Let's put that emotionless computer mind of yours to use! Lock on and destroy!"
With a low metallic grunt, the metagros took the order and ran with it, accelerating towards the Lugia as he skimmed accross the water, pumping his arms and activating his own psychic capabilities to enhance his rock slide, grabbing some of the smaller remnants from the cliff that now lay beneath the Lugia and hurling them towards the titanic beast in his own rock slide, only getting closer and closer as he tried his best to gain it's attention, Yumi crouching low and gripping the ege of his head to ensure she stayed on tight.
"Again! We are not letting that thing go!"
Caeser was clearly confused for a moment by the order, seeing how Yumi usually voted against his own merciless personality, but he didn't truly care, an order, and he was ready to hurl another attack the moment he got a chance, getting closer and closer to the beast he and his trainer faced.
NOTES
Enzo and Ko-ken "lost" in the ancient power strike - Metagross sent out! Magnet rise dodged the aeroblast Rock slide used by throwing the nearby earth at Lugia Accelerating towards Lugia. ??Dragon dance x 2??

A good deal of Josh's attacks had hit, but it was as if the attacks hadn't phased the damn thing! The wind became stronger, the rain became more wild. It was getting harder to steer Fawkes through these disastrous conditions. Well, so much for befriending the damned thing. It was attacking relentlessly! But it was the attack that destroyed the cliff that they were once on that really got his attention.
"Ah... Ahh... A-Ah...." He let out, eyes wide in complete shock. Just like that, as if it were NOTHING, Lugia had destroyed the terrain, the cliff they were on... As if it were nothing. Easily. It hadn't broken a sweat. It wasn't even scratching the surface of Lugia's power. And here they were, trying to fight it...
Damn it all, his mother (And Izumi) would kill him if they had seen this.
Josh hadn't seen Yumi get hit nor go down. With the rain and wind and Lugia in the way, it was difficult. But you want to know what was really blocking his view? The bloody pieces of destroyed earth that were being sent his way with Extrasensory. Josh's eyes widened as he saw them coming. Bloody hell, this thing had caused all this destruction, and now he was using it as a WEAPON against them? Oh boy...
"Fawkes! I want you to use Dragon Dance and dive through them to weave your way through! Try and get close!" Josh would call to Fawkes as the Charizard would let out a roar as he would nod and fly full speed toward the pieces of earth being fired at him, before activating Dragon Dance. The Charizard would begin spinning at high velocity, managing to weave it's way through the pieces of earth and increasing its attack at the same time. They had dodged, by a hair, but still dodged. That was risky. Josh wasn't sure if they could do that again. He took a deep breath as the spinning would stop. His dizziness would end just in time to see the Aeroblast coming their way! Josh could almost swear he saw something else, but he didn't have time to think about it as the attack would throttle their way!
"Fawkes! Don't worry about us! Dragon Dance again, this time go for a nosedive!" Josh would call to Fawkes as he and Lightning held on tight. Fawkes let out a roar as Dragon Dance activated once again, the Charizard would spin itself into a frenzy as it took a nosedive, like before his speed increased, as did his attack power, and they managed to evade the Aeroblast before the spinning stopped. They were close enough for an attack now, but they'd still need something long-range to hit it!
"Lightning!" Josh would call to the Pikachu, who took his place on Josh's head again. "Pika!" Lightning responded, ready to go. "Quick, use Nasty Plot, then Thunder!" Josh would command. "Pika!" Lightning saluted with a nod before his eyes gleamed and his cheeks would spark. Those sparks would crackle even moreso as he charged up his attack.
"Pika.... CHUUUUUU!" Lightning let out as he would loose the electricity into the sky. Before long, the stormclouds above them would send another lightning strike toward Lugia....
OOC: Dodged Aeroblast and earth... Y.... Stuff.. With Dragon Dance each. Fawkes's SPD and ATK increased by +2. Lightning used Nasty Plot, increasing SP ATK by +2, and used Thunder on Lugia, assisted by the weather conditions.

At first, it was calm—until the storm literally broke out and sent everything to all hell. Well, technically not to ‘all hell’, but with the way the white-bodied beast was acting, things were escalating too fast, too soon. The Aero let out a cry of displeasure as he tried to fight against the howling wind, the better to gain some ground as he soared up higher, the Professor bent low on his back. The wind was picking up in intensity, and as he moved his shaking, trembling right hand into place and silently started to record the entire proceedings—that’s when everything seemingly literally blew up in his face.
Right then and there the ‘beast of the sea’ seemingly did something—and Damian heard explosions. Not the explosions that happen whenever fireworks go off; it was a different kind of explosion. He then swiveled around to look down—and could only stare in shock; if they hadn’t taken to the sky, they’d definitely be blown to bits—or worse.
Shit, that was way too close for comfort… the Professor thought as he then steadied his trembling right hand with his left, the better to hold the camera steady. The frame was already shaking as bad as his hands were trembling—a few moments later, all manner of attacks were headed towards where they were all, in the sky. “Volée, time to put that Agility of yours to good use!” he shouted, watching as the ground then rose up—before seemingly hurtling towards them all. “Like, NOW! Agility and get out of the way! We need to dodge out of the way, and fast!” he continued; before hearing the Fossil ‘mon roar out loud—and then his surroundings suddenly seemed to slow down—or were they speeding up? Either way, the Aero had unleashed the first of the Agility speed bursts, zipping as fast as he could manage, what with Damian on his back.
The incoming projectiles from the ground exploded right at the spot where they’d hovered—had they not moved out of the way just a few seconds ago. “Ugh, this is getting rather hard to deal with…” he muttered, looking at the footage that he was currently trying to capture—oh, if only the white beast wasn’t rampaging so much! He then felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up; before another horrendous blast of wind rocketed through the sky, slowly but surely heading their way… “Volée, use your Ancient Power, try to put as much distance as you can between that wall of incoming air! After that, Agility once more!” he shouted, hoping that the evasive maneuvers would work. The prehistoric ‘mon then let out another bellow, before conjuring a flotilla of rocks and then sending them rocketing off in the direction of the incoming wall of air that was sweeping towards where they were hovering; and not too long after, used Agility once more in order to gain a further boost in speed.
Aero out on the field, used Agility to speed away from the incoming Ancient Power rubble projectiles fired off by Lugia; before using its own attempt at Ancient Power in order to block the incoming Aeroblast. After using Aeroblast, uses Agility once more!
Lugia didn't take kindly to being assaulted when it was forcibly awoken. It let out another cry, less of anger and more of power and fury and might. It took in the surroundings, taking stock of what was there - humans and Pokemon, and none of them needed to be here. No, none of them needed to be around, not after the last time this happened, not after the last time he was summoned against his will.
There were human cries and human orders, humans still thinking they had dominion over the nature of the world. They couldn't evolve or adapt like Pokemon could - truly marvelous creatures - they had no right. It boiled up in that not-so-anger state and Lugia gave off another loud, deafening roar, followed immediately by thunder, popping the sound barrier in the localized area.
The one flying in sent the rocks soaring towards Lugia, who glowed and used the momentum of them being tossed to slam them up and smash them together, absorbing the blow and turning it into harmless scatterings of static. These very rocks, in the large massive chunk they were fused into, were then thrown at the source of the electrical attack. It was one thing to bob and weave a scattershot of rocks; what about one huge slab of death and destruction?
It wouldn't get that far. Lugia let out another hurricane blast of wind, the Aeroblast ripping into the giant rock and through it towards Josh's Charizard, turning it back into another mine field as the attack cut through and threatened the young man from a foreign region. Lugia turned his head back towards the one whose anger seemed to burn bright in the rain and gave her the same attack, flying towards her to meet her head on.
Future Sight 1/2 Lugia uses Ancient Power to turn Metagross' Rock Slide attack into a shield against Thunder, then tosses these rocks at Josh. Fires off an Aeroblast at Yumi and Josh.
