Damian's first-ever companion, gifted to him by his colleagues in Mossdeep a few days before he graduated from college. He's taken a rather keen interest in the little sucker, especially once he'd realized that how the hell can that thing float without assistance. It eventually turned out that Wrecker knows Magnet Rise, a vital part of what his future studies would eventually branch out into.

Received as a gift from his Bird Keeper father once he’d informed his parents that he was going to be going on a journey to Orre, Sky Dancer (or Sky as he prefers to call the Skarmory) is one tough nut to crack. Damian’s already considered trying to use him as a mode of transport, but the sword-like feathers deterred him from making that decision. In battle, he doesn’t know when to give up, since he is one very tenacious avian.

Nazca was the first Pokémon that Damian had officially acquired; while traversing some ruins in the Orre region after leaving the labs he was working with in order to get started on his two-year journey to Nue. He knew that he’d be in for some trouble the moment he’d disturbed what appeared to be the tomb of a Flying-type that had been enshrined in the area for who knew how long; and he eventually decided to catch the then-Baltoy after Sky and Wrecker had tag-teamed and beaten him into submission.

Somewhere along the two-year journey, he’d evolved into a Claydol after he’d helped his master acquire Blaze after a long fight; and also aided in the capture of Natalia and Terra. Damian has no idea why the Claydol only stares blankly back at him whenever he tries to talk to it; but that’s only because the Claydol is humming in a language even he can’t understand as of now.

Blaze is Damian’s personal majestic bodyguard; and is one of the few exceptions of Pokémon that he owns that aren’t flying / levitating in mid-air. Due to being a very friendly and hyperactive creature, the then-Growlithe’s frolicky, flighty attitude more than made up the fact that he was land-bound.

Nazca (in his previous Baltoy form) had helped catch the Growlithe after he’d managed to nearly burn Sky and Wrecker to a crisp. The Growlithe has grown so much on Damian, he’d bark and snap at anyone else he deems a danger to his master; and would gladly fight for him no matter the cost.

Caught while there was a swarm of them passing through a place that Damian had stopped over on his journey, Natalia is the sole female companion of his ‘main six’, and had proven to be a bit of a problem to subdue.

Thanks to his Growlithe’s Fire-type attacks, though, he was finally able to bring the Togepi down, before finally catching her. She’d evolved into a Togetic while fighting against Terra; and has a rather motherly attitude towards Damian’s other Pokemon. A fun fact about her is that Damian had named the Togetic after his fashion model of a mother.

Given to him by a raven-haired female as formal price for affiliation to her stock, Damian is rather...surprised to find out that this Ampharos has been fully tricked-out with a solid move set. Now, the problem is getting along with her... for she's a very feisty individual and won't take "no" for an answer no matter what he asks her to do.

Why Damian had chosen to name his Ralts 'Chaos' is anyone's guess, but the half-Psychic, half-Fairy type is one of his resident 'troublemakers' and gets along all too well, surprisingly, with his Murkrow, Edea. How that happened, is anyone's honest guess; but whenever there are shenanigans going down, the culprit is this innocent-looking humanoid that can only snicker to himself as he can get away with most trouble he's the source of.

Name befitting his species, Loki is a trouble-making Sableye who has seemingly "taken the lead" when it comes to causing chaos and mayhem. Always working in tandem with Chaos and Edea, this crafty little Sableye just knows how to cause mass distraction when his owner least expects it. Damian knows that he's still in the middle of adjusting to living with him, but sometimes even he has to put a foot down when Loki goes 'out of line' and starts destroying things.

Damian had met the Archen as he was passing through a certain stop on his journey; and was rather surprised that after the battle was half-over, it became a rather easy win for him. After using his Togepi (who then evolved not too long afterwards) he finally had a rather unusual-looking Flying type to call his own; one that had actual wings and resembled a bird.

Upon further research, he was quite surprised to find out that Archens originated from fossils, so he has a suspicion that someone else used to own Terra before he’d finally caught sight of the Pokémon and captured him for his own use.

Maybe the electric strain was a bit too much, because now the crazy Rufflet is a bit bonkers in the head... all the same, he knows that this avian is one of his more courageous recruits.

Damian acquired this Honchkrow from a certain Mr. Kazuki, who was seemingly glad to be rid of the 'devil spawn'. He could only guess as to why the previous owner had called the avian something out of the circles of hell.

Either way, it's a challenge he's very much willing to take. Already he's being driven nuts with the extremely naughty attitude the Honchkrow's showing him; but he's already resigned to the fact that taming this unusual avian would be a challenge in itself.

Born from one of the two eggs that he’d successfully bred on his first attempt, this Aerodactyl has a temper typical of its species—violent and outright dangerous. Of course, Damian is trying very hard in order to be able to get along with him; without resorting to coercion and threats.

Very proud, stubborn, and outright disobedient for his kind, Volée won’t easily bow or bend over to anyone; Damian included. Of course, he considers anything that moves as “food”, but his owner is trying to change that notion.

A new acquisition from a Breeder who was strangely glad to be rid of the spawn, Damian can't help but wonder as to why the Breeder had all but practically begged for him to 'get the Weedle off my hands'; was the innocent-looking Bug-type really cause for so much trouble?

Either way, he's very curious as to what this little one would turn out to be; after all, his main field of study encompasses 'anything and everything that can fly', and he's full aware that bugs undergo metamorphosis in order to become graceful butterflies... or deadly bees.
