► A little house tucked between a bank and restaurant in Bosky. Its small and cozy when you go inside, the small counter that Heath stands behind cluttered with papers. Lots of plush seats, none of which really match, are scattered around for people to sit as they wait. There are a few rooms scattered here and there, and a curious guest will find some of the empty breeding rooms if they're unlocked. Upstairs is where the young man lives, an attic renovated from a dusty dump to a small room. Its simple but nice, and Heath really hopes you enjoy your stay!
Heath's prices are pretty much set, but he's always one willing to haggle to make a customer happy. He is willing to do breedings as well, but with the agreement that he can keep any extra stock of eggs to do with as he wishes. Heath does not have his rare licence yet.
Honeybee Breeding is affilitated with Bright Beginning Breeding owned by Henri Ryans! Don't be surprised to see Heath using his pokemon or vice versa!
With a soft sigh, Heath stepped away from the wall he had been so carefully painting. It was done, everything was done! Just had to wait for it to dry and he would be in business. The old place had needed a new coat of paint for years now, and since he owned it now Heath was happy to give it. It had taken a lot of work to really make the place his. After having his mom own the place for years, he sometimes felt that the locals sort of just saw him as a stand in. It sucked, but with all the updates and renovations, he hoped that everyone wouldn't see him like that anymore. This marked a new era for Honeybee Breeding! The only problem was that he didn't have... anything to sell. At all. Unless someone came in for a breeding, then he was pretty much just out of luck, it seemed. It was a shame, because he needed the money to fund his future endeavors. Like buying pokeballs and other supplies, for one. Not to mention food. At least he had one option.
Releasing the only two pokemon he owned, Heath laughed when Pokey and Honey yawned and shook themselves off. Pokey, his Joltik, squeaked loudly and crawled up onto the counter. She was so tiny he always worried about her, but so full of life he knew she would be okay. Honey floated in the air, his wings beating the only sign he was working hard to stay aloft. "Alright, so..." Heath started, picking up Pokey on one finger and starting towards one of the back rooms. "This place is ready to go, and I need eggs! So you two know what that means..." With another squeak, Pokey hopped on the wall and crawled into the door that Heath had opened. It was one of the breeding rooms. Honey followed behind slowly, a little apprehensive. He was okay, though, and had been expecting this for a long time. It was just nerve wracking is all. "Good luck you two." Heath muttered as he closed the door.

bittersweet.
He didn't like coming over here, if he could help it because while Bosky had a lot of bug Pokemon it also had a lot of memories he would rather just forget. Still when he'd heard around the circuit that there was someone out there breeding bug types he couldn't resist taking a look. After all as the bug gym leader he couldn't ignore it. Especially if they were breeding quality ones. He had two of his Pokemon with him as well, figuring that if this breeder was as good as he said he was then he'd be able to get him an egg or two out of the whole deal. Stepping inside the little shop he didn't see anyone immediately so he assumed they were busy actually breeding some of the Pokemon they owned. Really he was just kind of hoping that they had the room for another breeding at the moment.
If they didn't he'd be stuck coming back here again after buying the egg. "Hello?" He stepped closer to the front counter and set his Pokeballs on the table. The Pokemon weren't inside them but he wasn't sure if the breeder that worked here would need them or not. Bubbles was tucked away in the hood of his jacket and Tranquil was attached to his pants leg. He hadn't wanted to walk on his own which Garrus was perfectly fine with, he just wished that he hadn't started poking holes in the jeans. Sure they weren't expensive but it wasn't like he actually owned a lot of clothes to begin with. Whatever, he could always just buy some more later if it came down to it. If his Pokemon were happy then he was happy too.
Happy as a Clampearl, Heath hummed as he moved the small box full of new eggs into the main room. Honey was back in his pokeball, seemed he was the type to sleep after such things, but Pokey was sitting atop one of the eggs protectively. He was so happy to set out his product that he didn't notice, at first, that he even had a customer. When Pokey started to hiss and bristle up her tiny yellow body, it made Heath start some and he looked up. "Oh, uh... Hi." It took a second, but as he took in the features, he knew this was Garrus Gregor, the man he pined over for so long... and bullied relentlessly. His chest tightened up with a mixture of excitement and fear. It was a strange mix he didn't really like.
"I, uh, oh... hi." Repeating himself, Heath grew flush and looked down some, clearing his throat. Smoothing out his apron, he really hoped that he didn't look a mess. It had been a while since he had looked in the mirror, and most of his morning was spent painting and cleaning so he feared he was covered in dust and other grit. It wouldn't leave a very good impression. Shifting from side to side, he realized that maybe he should talk. A small, awkward silence had grown as he fretted. "So, um... welcome to Honeybee Breeding. Its... its nice to see you. Can I help you?" Chewing on his lip, Heath made a little 'ah!' noise and pulled the eggs out of the box and set them on the counter carefully. "I just, uh... Oh! I just bred these! Combee and Joltik." Finishing lamely, he glanced down at Pokey. She had crawled off the eggs and was between them and Garrus, staring up at him with a sour look. She hissed again and spat a spider web at his face.

bittersweet.
Shit shit shit... It was... Why the fuck had he not asked someone who owned this place before he came down here. He didn't want to have to deal with something like this. He could feel his stomach start to churn and he almost felt sick. But still he tried to keep his face stoic and his personal feelings shoved aside. He was here for business as a gym leader, not to get worked up over the fact that Heath Braxton was the one he was going to be dealing with. He still looked the same... Well except for the addition of some dirt and grime that probably came from the hard work that he had to be putting in around here. Garrus wondered if he just worked here or if he actually owned the place now. It wouldn't be unheard of. A lot of kids out of their class apparently became Breeders. He just always expected Heath to do something with his looks instead. He would have been suited for a coordinators life, except that it was probably too much work for him.
His nerves calmed slightly whenever he saw the eggs be brought out. That was what he was here for after all. Picking up an egg and then allowing Heath of all people to breed his two Pokemon together. He was wary about trusting them to him now. After all he'd done some horrible things in high school so there was always the chance that the mean streak would come out again and his Pokemon would come back to him in low spirits or maybe even hurt... No, Heath was a lot of things but Garrus doubted that he would go so far as to hurt Pokemon. "I'm here to bu-" Startled he nearly jumped as he wiped the webbing off of his face. It wasn't something he was unused to, dealing with bug Pokemon and the fact that some of them were less than friendly. It stung though that it seemed like the past couldn't stay buried long enough for them to even conduct business. With a small sigh he reached up and wiped the webbing away.
"I would like to purchase one of your eggs. And I wanted to get a breeding done." The emphasis on the word wanted was unintentional as he still fully planned on getting the breeding done here so long as he was welcome too. It was whether or not he was welcome to be the big part. It seemed as though Heath's Pokemon had picked up his distaste for people like Garrus and that would make business increasingly hard to do the longer he was here. It wasn't the Joltik's fault, just the person who had trained her. Anxious Bubbles popped her head out of his hood, crawling from it to his shoulder and watching the joltik carefully. Sure it had something of a type advantage but she wouldn't just let it attack her trainer like that...
Gasping and covering his mouth, Heath looked horrified at what Pokey had done. "Pokey!" Scooping her up, he shoved the tiny spider down into the front pocket of his apron. She stuck her head back out, hissing again but quieting down. She started to chew on the fabric of Heath's apron, watching Garrus more intensely than before. Frantically, Heath leaned over the counter and tried to brush specks of web off of Garrus' clothes and hair. "I'm so sorry!" He babbled out. "She's just, well, she's never bred before and isn't used to giving up her eggs yet!" Picking up one of the eggs, he pushed the little bundle towards Garrus. "Here! I, its, its to say sorry. And, uh..." Leaning back, Heath worried his fingers some as he started at the other man. Garrus had... he was even more handsome than what he could remember. Pictures in the paper didn't do anything to really show how he had filled out, the strong definition of his jaw, how nice those shirts looked on him, even the sideburns...
Shaking his head lightly, Heath tried to get his wandering thoughts in check before they went anywhere less than clean. "A bre-" His voice cracked, so he cleared his throat and tried again. "A breeding? I would be more than happy to. Would you like to see the facility?" It was a practiced line his mother had taught him. It felt silly to say out loud; the 'facility' was nothing more than a small cluster of rooms filled with pillows and other soft things, after all. Saying it like he had made it seem a lot more modern and fancy than it actually was. "Your pokemon will be pampered and coddled so that they can produce eggs in the most comfortable of environments- guaranteed!" It felt nice to say all of that for himself, and it gave him a bit of time to calm down. Dusting his hands on his pants, he chewed on his lip ad he anxiously awaited an answer. Garrus didn't seem very eager, and it sort of wounded him. Not that he would blame the Gym Leader...
Pokey, not happy with any of this, crawled back out of Heath's pocket while he was giving his little speech. She crawled back onto the counter and towards Garrus. Shaking her little rump, she jumped from the counter and onto the front of his shirt. A big leap for a little thing like her, but she was okay. Skittering over to the Surskit, she tried to nibble and chew on one of the water bug's legs. She needed to see if this pokemon was raised right. If it wasn't, then she wasn't so sure on giving up one her precious eggs to the human who owned it.

bittersweet.
He stiffened up, freezing whenever Heath touched his face and his shirt. He wasn't used to someone moving so quickly to touch his face whenever it wasn't balled into a fist unless it was his parents patting him or a Pokemon crawling on him. He could handle a nest of Spinarak crawling all over his face but god forbid a person actually try to touch him. The explanation that it was the Joltik's first time breeding was a good enough one. He'd seen Pokemon that had to be separated from their clutches right off the bat so that they wouldn't attack the people who came after them. At least it was a better explanation for why he'd been attacked rather than the Pokemon having a continued vendetta against him. Taking the egg gently he could feel Tranquil crawl up his leg and onto his back. The claws dug a little bit but he tried not to move too much, he didn't want to accidentally knock it off.
"I'm sure the facility is fine." His voice was a bit stiff and his jaw clenched slightly whenever the bug Pokemon jumped on the front of his shirt. He liked having Pokemon around him and even on him but he was worried about the fact that it had previously spun web into his face. He didn't have a hand free to really brush it off though so it was up to Bubbles. Not trying to cause a scene she tried to gently push the bug off of her leg. They were both bug types but she had a water disadvantage to the joltik so she wasn't about to let it take advantage of that. The last thing she needed to do was start a fight while her trainer was holding an egg that would become a valuable member of the team. "Bubbles go ahead and go to the table. Tranquil you too."
Untangling herself from the Joltik she jumped easily from Garrus' shoulder to the counter. Tranquil followed more slowly and instead of jumping Garrus had to hold his arm out so the Paras could move onto the table. "You two behave yourself." He almost ignored the Joltik still on his shirt but instead he cupped a hand underneath it so that it could move from his shirt to his hand and so that he could put it on the table.
Trying to offer a smile, Heath looked down at the two pokemon before holding out his arms. "You two can just crawl on up if you want." He tried to keep his voice gentle as he scooped them up. He knew a lot of pokemon could be nervous with this sort of this. He hummed lightly, in some vague attempt to make them happy. These were Gym Pokemon, and he was holding them in his arms! Not just any Gym Pokemon, either. He needed to make sure they were treated like kings as long as they were here. He moved over to one of the doors behind the counter and started to open it, but paused.
"Pokey, you be nice. Garrus isn't going to bother your eggs." Wagging a finger at the Joltik and trying to sound firm, Heath went through the door and left Garrus alone for a moment. It would take a few minutes to set up, but he made sure everything was in order before setting the pokemon down. "You two take your time in here." He muttered, trying to scratch the Surskit just under its body. "I'll be back in a little bit. There is food and water and anything else you could need in here. Good luck." Standing back up, he started to exit.
Meanwhile, Pokey wasn't really sure she wanted to be good. This was a strange human who was taking her eggs away, and something about him made Heath nervous. If he made her Trainer nervous, then he was probably bad. Even so, she slowly crept onto his hand when he offered it. She wouldn't go onto the table, no sir, but she skittered over to his fingers and started to nibble on him. Not enough to hurt or bite, just little nips to test the waters. At least he smelled good, and those pokemon of his had seemed well behaved enough. Maybe she was freaking out over nothing. Squeaking, she moved back and tried to crawl up his arm. She really needed to test this out thoroughly.
As soon as Heath left the room, he heard distressed chatters and chittering. He quickly backtracked into the room, only to find that the Paras had gotten his pointy claws stuck in one of the pillows. Stuff like this tended to throw off the mood, so without some help, there was no chance of these two breeding. Heath really didn't want to disappoint Garrus. He really didn't. Helping the little bug get loose from the pillow, he removed the fluffy deathtrap and anything else that might impede breeding. Normally, Pokemon wouldn't be able to try again for a while. His mom had taught him one thing, though.
Heath walked over to a high cupboard on the wall. It was off the ground so that normally pokemon couldn't get into it, but just in case it was also locked with a padlock. It wasn't indestructible, but for what Heath bred it was good enough. Taking the key out of his pocket and opening it up, he sighed and took a small box out. Inside was a single mushroom. A 'Romantic Mush' his mom had called it. Only one he had and he had been saving it for a special occasion. It caused Pokemon to want to breed again if they didn't make eggs, or so he had been taught. Taking it out, he locked everything back up and went over to the pokemon.
"Sorry, guys..." he muttered, kneeling down. Splitting the mush in two, he coaxed the two bug types to eat it. He didn't really know it would work, but when every crumb was gone he stood back up and exited the room again. Maybe this time they would have better luck.

bittersweet.
He watched as Heath took his Pokemon to the back of the facility for the breeding. He was nervous. This was the first time they were going to do something like this and there was the added factor of it being Heath doing it. Chewing on his lip he decided to pay attention to the small bug that was currently attempting to figure him out. He didn't mind the small bug nibbles or the fact that the bug was trying to push buttons. It would take a lot more than just this to get him to be angry at the electric bug. Instead he tucked the egg into the carrier on his shoulder in order to free up his other hand. Now he could properly pay attention to Pokey, using his finger to pet at its fuzzy back gently so that he didn't end up startling her.
"Now there, I'm not such a bad guy am I? I'll take good care of your egg alright? I'm the bug gym leader so they'll have lots and lots of friends to play with even." He didn't want this little Pokemon to hate him. He didn't want any Pokemon to hate him even if they did belong to someone who had been horrible. But that was neither here nor there. So far the entire thing had been pretty professional except for the bits with Pokey attacking him but that didn't really matter. After all even the best trained Pokemon were unpredictable some days and he doubted that Heath had done much in the way of training if he was working on being a breeder.
After waiting nervously in the little hallway, Heath finally went back into the room when the right amount of time had passed. He didn't really want to go back up front. Things had been made tense enough as it was, and Garrus' presence made him even more nervous. The pink haired fellow wasn't sure he could keep a good conversation going, if he could think of anything at all. What did he say to him? 'Oh hey, remember that time I stole all your birthday presents and threw them in the river? Wow what a riot, right?' His track record with him wasn't clean and Heath didn't trust himself not to make it more awkward than it already was.
A sigh of relief was made when Heath saw the two sleepy bug pokemon sleeping nuzzled next to a single egg. It was't much, but one egg was better than nothing. "You guys did good." He whispered, taking the Pokeballs Garrus had given him and calling them back into their balls. He put them in his pocket and leaned down, cupping the egg gently so he could bring it back out front, where he had left Pokey.
Pokey was still unsure about this human being trusted with one of her eggs. She squeaked when he started to pet her, but lifted up her butt to scratch against his finger. Oh, that was the spot... maybe this guy wouldn't be too bad after all. She chirped again and kept climbing, determined to make it to his head. She had the firm belief that if a human let you next in the fur on their heads, then they were okay. She needed to test this for herself.
Finally, Heath returned. Smiling like an idiot, he held up the egg where Garrus could see as he approached. "Success!" Walking over, he gave back the two pokeballs and gently offered the egg to him. "Make sure these two get lots of rest, and try to feed them some oranges later. It'll make them feel better. This egg is healthy, too, so you should be able to care for it the same as the other one." A bit of pride swelled in Heath's chest. He had bred Garrus' pokemon! "I hope Pokey didn't bother you too much. Sorry."
