EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Indeed he was, sort of. A day or so, maybe. But he was here. Josh would quickly make his way in after parking his motorcycle, with the Pikachu walking with him. With that, he would do the usual of talking to an assistant, grabbing the egg, and telling Mr. SakurabaPants to text him about payment as usual.

Now that things were somewhat settling down—even if Kouji still hadn’t picked a place per se in which to settle down in the new-fangled Nue region—he’d already gotten several requests lined up. One of them happened to be for a member of the International Police, or Interpol, something that had recently stepped up in terms of security (in terms of general activity basically) and the member in question was looking for a Cyndaquil. Wondering if mama Kaji would be welcome to the idea of having another child to rear—she already had Arashi, Inferno and Zira to deal with—he then whistled and watched as the Transporter went off; the first time in a long time. He’d searched up and down for the appropriate parent, and had found one; now all it needed was to get the “fire” going. He knew that Extrasensory was one of the nicer moves for a Cyndaquil to have; and with the appropriate parent, he could get it all down just right.
Now the problem was looking for mama Kaji, since they hadn’t chosen a permanent place to settle down in yet, they were still operating “on the road” per se; camping out and conducting business in the wilderness whenever they got the chance. Once he’d exited the Pokémon Center with the male Vulpix’s PokeBall in hand, he then turned to see that his assistant was dashing up the way, holding a stack of papers—and a particular Safari Ball that had an individual’s name scratched into its surface in symbols even he couldn’t understand. “Geh, too’ me a whi’ ta fin’ the female Typh’osion out’a the mass ‘a PokeBalls we got. Bu, ‘ere she is,” his purple-haired, rather ruffled-looking assistant muttered, quickly passing over the Safari Ball to him before making another dash off into the city proper. As of now, they were still “on the move”, still scouting for the “perfect” place to live. Even if his benefactor had already contacted him about her settling down in Shui, he knew that he couldn’t be in the same place as she was!
As long as there’s water and summer weather, I’m sure I’d be glad to stay there. Oh, right, I have to contact Erin about the Aquarium location as well… he thought as he then went over to a rather deserted area, before quickly setting the two ‘mons he was going to use out into the open. The first one was something he was very familiar with—and he watched as the Typhlosion let out a yawn, before flexing her fiery mane and then grunting a greeting in his direction. “Hey there, Kaji. We’re not there yet. Sorry about that. But… can you keep this one company in the meantime?” he began, before watching the Vulpix fall out of the second flash of red light.

It didn’t take too long for him to hear an uproar—what the hell was going on? He then blinked, before looking up from the copy of the local Nue newspaper that he was reading while waiting on the bench—and then heard the sounds of a squabble breaking out not too far behind him. “Oy,” was all he had time for, before folding the newspaper closed with a sigh, and then keeping it in the sleeve of his jacket. He then reached for his mobile phone, and then punched in a message for his assistant—hopefully he’d be able to find the requisite four more ‘mons that he’d be asking him to get—one of their preferred clients, Josh, had put in for the continuous stream of requests that he wanted to thin out; and he could only chuckle—because he’d finally encountered the individual who had a wish list that was even longer than his benefactor’s. As Kouji had managed to locate the squabbling Typhlosion and Vulpix—it was more on the Vulpix not cooperating—he then chuckled, before pulling out a paper bag and checking the contents.
Lucky I had the wherewithal to buy these things before coming out here… he thought as he then casually plucked one of them out and tossed it towards the aggravated Vulpix, who then leapt up into the air before breathing a ball of fire, toasting the mushroom slightly and then catching it in his mouth. “Please don’t upset mama Kaji. You don't want to know what she’d do to anyone who upsets her…” he said with a nervous chuckle escaping his lips—and then and there, his assistant arrived, clutching four more unique containment units. “Gah, ‘ere ya go, Boss. Th’ four y’ wanted, am I right?” he began, all out of breath—the papers were gone, for now—he could guess that he’d gone out to accomplish the little errand that they were supposed to be doing. As he then sent out the four ‘mons, he then shooed the reconciling Vulpix and Typhlosion to another private corner of the little secluded park where they were currently…conducting business on the road. A Breeder’s got to do what a Breeder’s got to do… he thought to himself as he then identified the pairs; before noticing that the avians were definitely headed for trouble.
Is he crazy, pairing up Sora with Aine? That Skarmory could kill the Braviary, and I’d never hear the end of it from her! He thought with a slight shake of his head, before he waved his hands at everyone assembled. “Go on, do your own thing. I won’t look, I promise. I’ll just be on that bench if you guys need me…”

Josh had been working with both Izumi and Kouji a little more lately. Even his family had gotten involved. Dragomir Ranch had begun communicating with A Taste Of Home for one reason or another, though Josh still needed to iron out the details of what was going on, but he knew it had something to do with Nue. Regardless, he would head into the ranch to pick up the regular shipment. He would nod to the assistant, who had the eggs waiting for him. "Just tell Kouji to send me the bill as usual" He would say as he took the eggs, loading them into the truck and driving back off to Dragomir Ranch.

Rhafiel hadn't been able to resist the draw of a Cyndaquil egg. He wanted one of those things like there was no tomorrow, and Nyx and Cerin were really getting the hang of mothering all of the baby Pokemon that he had come to acqiure over the last few weeks. Nyx trotted at his side as he stepped up to the counter. She slowly lifted herself onto her hind legs, putting her front paws on the counter to look over the top.
Humming lightly at his Pokemon, he pat her head gently before looking at the person behind the counter. "I'm here to pick up one of the Cyndaquil eggs," he said with a small smile, taking out some money to pay for the egg. He was sure that one of the eggs from his Spiritomb's breeding went to a woman affiliated with this ranch, so he'd decided to come for a visit as soon as he'd heard about there maybe being an egg he was looking for.
He put the money down onto the counter, and as soon as he received his egg, he smiled and waved goodbye at the one working the counter. Nyx fell back onto all fours and trotted to the door, pushing it open for her trainer who was carrying the fragile little egg. Rhafiel himself was buzzing with excitement.

After the eggs had been picked up and loaded in proper order in their respective Incubators, it was time to whittle down one of his client’s extremely-long wish lists. Secretly glad that Izumi’s wasn’t as long anymore, he could only chuckle as he then punched in a number, ringing up his assistant and giving him the details. Once he’d finished hearing the indignant snort on the other end of the line, Kouji could only snort derisively as he then settled himself down on another bench; they were still operating “on the road” as it is; at least until his assistant had managed to pin down the exact size of the land they needed to settle down in at “the Wilds”, since it was the only other alternative place within Nue where they could park their business without overcrowding the other Breeders over at Bosky. While waiting, he then decided to draw up some notes in the note pad he’d gotten accustomed to bringing along…
Sometime later, he then heard his assistant’s weird accent floating through the haze, and he looked up in time to see that he was there, holding six PokeBalls out to him. “Here ye go, th’ six ya wanted from stor’ge,” he began with a huff; before quickly unloading the assortment of containment units into his arms. “I’ve gotta go ge’ th’ pap’rwork fix’d for th’ Wilds, I’ll drop ya a call once we’re done,” he said, catching his breath before making another mad dash away from where he was seated. Kouji could only smirk as the purple-haired assistant whipped up dust clouds as he ran away into the distance; and he then stood up from the bench and went to the empty lot located behind one of the Pokémon Centers in Nue, in order to fulfill the next batch of requests for Josh…

”…How the hell did I end up here?” By all means, Danny couldn’t make sense of it. Normally when he shifted gear to exploring unfamiliar terrain, nothing quite prepared him for the sudden splat of civilization when he stumbled upon a particularly fancy looking ranch. Or maybe it wasn’t fancy. Danny’s image of the whole business was pretty much ruined after he saw how his mom was running hers. At least he didn’t have to walk up to a creepy old van for the sake of doing a little window shopping either.
Though if he had to be honest, he would’ve preferred a stranger’s van over his mother’s.
But this wasn’t the time for family matters to cloud his thoughts, and as he announced his arrival with a brief nod and greeting, his eyes hopped from egg to egg, admiring the differences in coloration until he settled on the remaining Cubchoo eggs. Ok, so these guys looked pretty damn cool. He sure was lacking in the ice type department too, now that he thought about it. Picking up the egg with the prettiest white rings curving around its robin blue sides, he examined the sides for cracks until he felt completely satisfied with his choice. ”I’m rolling with this one then. 15 dots for a common, right? Works for me. Have a good one.” To be honest, he kind of felt giddy as he bounded out of the ranch with the thought of caring for an adorable, fluffy cub when it hatched.

It was usually around this time of the year—or so he’d heard—that Breeders would suddenly be flooded with requests for “presents”; but in his case, it was just another normal “working week day”. Since he knew that Josh would be coming for all the other eggs in one go (as he always did) he then decided to get started with the first Breeding attempt on the “official” Ranch grounds in the Wilds—seeing as the rather large, vast expanse of land had been purchased just for their own usage. It sure beats having to dash all over the cramped Ranch grounds in Humilau, that’s for sure, he thought as he was now juggling a pair of particular containment units. He knew that Gabriel, his benefactor’s Salamence, was listed as “unbreedable” on the records; but this was going to be yet another special case this time.
Of course, he’d have to make sure that the resulting spawns were all sterile, because there was no way in hell he was going to be risking having an overpopulation of Bagons running around the place… it was just that risky. He then snickered, before checking the two containment units—one of them held the Salamence that he was going to be borrowing for this instance; while the other one contained an extremely, cloud-like, absolutely fluffy thing…was it still even a Pokémon? He could only blink as he then set out to the official “grounds” and set the two free. First that emerged was the Salamence; who then roared upon finally being free from that small containment unit; while the Altaria, upon appearing from the flash of red light, let out a melodious hum before hovering in the air before him. “Right, so. Hello. Well, the thing is, can you two be nice to each other, please? Just this once, Gabe. Just this once,” he continued in his soothing voice, before patting the Salamence and letting them do their thing.

Josh would shoot a glare to the assistant as he would come over to pick up the eggs, presumably for calling him the "scruffy guy" on the phone before when he was talking to Kouji. Regardless, he would load all four eggs, the Bagon, Elgyem, Happiny and Cubchoo, on board the truck before driving off. He imagined this would be one of the last trips they made before the merge.

Rhafiel didn't even know how many breeders he had been to in the past weeks, and this week was no different. With all of the Christmas shopping he had been doing, he was looking for a little something special for some special people. When he found that Sakuraba had both of the Pokemon that he had been looking for, he was absolutely elated and he found himself walking into the ranch less than a day later.
He moved up to the counter, his Liepard at his side, looking around the room with a curious fascination. Rhafiel gave a small eave to the person behind the counter, "I'm here for one of the Bagon eggs and one of the Oshawott, please." He was searching through his wallet for the right amount of dots, humming happily to himself at the prospect of his purchases. He handed his payment over, taking a Pokeball and an egg from the counter. He nodded to the assistant and then took his prizes, escaping the ranch in record time. He had some Christmas gifts to give.
