> THREAD TRACKER Because you can't expect yourself to remember all of this, but that's ok, you're a smart guy. Smart guys have ways to get around not remembering things, especially when it comes to people's names. A little bit of Monica in my life. A little bit of Erica on the side. A little bit of Rita's all I need. A little bit of Tina's what I see. TIMELINE: 1. Danny's journey starts in Orre, all for the sake of meeting up with his sister, Amber. Has a few catch attempts in Tufa and Gateon. Enjoys spending time in The Under, and has a weird encounter with a bar owner named Sheryl. [ Can do Orre threads as him just starting out as a trainer ! Would have Wingull, Emolga, Pinsir, Caterpie, Frillish, and Honchkrow w/o TMs. ] 2. After catching up with Amber, Danny craves the excitement of the big city and moves over to Unova. New Pokemon, new land, new people. He's particularly interested in Castelia and Nimbasa City in case quality jobs pop up for his hobbies. [ Lots of room here to explore more of Unova with other characters. Can also do pit stops to other regions if the city/town sparks his interest. ] 3. After his Unova Adventures, it's time to begin the ultra fun Hoenn plots with his sister, Amber Kazuki. He plans on training his newly caught Pokemon in his home region, but it turns out that there's a lot about Hoenn that he never had the chance to discover. Cue big sibling fight and Lati@s plot. We're gonna have fun times. [ Kalos / Sinnoh maybe? ] OPEN THREADS NONE CATCH THREADS 1. Tufa City Test Drive; An introduction thread for Danny and his starters, Larry, Aph, and Gawain, all while trying not to die in the forest near Tufa City. Battled a Spinarak, caught a Murkrow, caught a Caterpie, and Larry learned some essential survival tips after befriending a Yanma. Maybe the two will meet again someday! 2. Salt n' Thunder; Danny's lashing out at the ocean due to having an unimpressive newb tea, and this needs to stop. He comes across a slumbering Frillish that became a victim of skipping rocks after they sunk, and after one struggle of a battle, he managed to catch it thanks to Larry. A Chinchou appeared right after, giving Gawain the Pinsir some battle experience until it fled. Winnie the Caterpie got her first win after fighting a confused and stubborn Magikarp, moving her a bit closer to evolution. Finally, the thread ends with a horde of Horsea and Seadra. Man, what a mess. Don't mess with hordes. 3. All Show but No Blow; Danny bumps into Algernon and hilarious antics ensue. 4. Literally No Pinwheels Here; After meeting up with Algernon with those silly Castelia City antics, Danny decides to cross Skyarrow Bridge for the sake of adventure. His trek leads him to Pinwheel Forest, where a group of Patrat and Watchog mug him. Gawain, Winnie, and Hermes save the day with some kickbutt action scenes. Winnie evolves into a mighty Metapod, and in the middle of the night, Danny captures a stray Deerling. 5. Back Again: Tell a Friend; Checking in Nacrene City after a long adventure in Pinwheel Forest was a pretty nice experience, but Nacrene was booooring, leaving Danny to head back to Pinwheel Forest for even more fun times. Catching a Lillipup and a Karrablast and learning some slick moves from a Wild Emolga, Danny makes a note to come back to Pinwheel just because it's that cool of a place. 6. Tropius Swarm: Unova Adventures are put on hold after Danny saw a reddit thread talking about one of his favorite Pokemon swarming Fortree City. Fueled by the rumors, he packed up and hopped back to his home region. With Larry spamming Blizzard and Hurricane, that poor sap of a banana didn't stand a chance. Go team! 7. After some hectic stuff in Meteor Falls, Danny wanders around the outskirts of Fallarbor Town, thinking he can find something fun. He doesn't get fun. He gets old men fishing, and they all smell like worms. 8. Let's explore the inactive volcano! Even better, let's climb the inactive volcano and train while we're at it! 8 1/2. This thread ended up being a 2-parter. Some Pokemon train, Danny catches a Trapinch, and he feels a little more self-conscious about his skills as a Pokemon Trainer. 9. Pachirisu Swarm; After Mt.Chimney adventures, Danny makes a quick pitstop to Sinnoh to catch a few pesky Pachirisu that were harassing Solaceon Town. Now he's forever annoyed with an obnoxious and needy trio of squirrels. On the bright side, a few of Unova Pokemon got some battle experience. PLOT THREADS Lati@s Plot with Amber Kazuki 1. No More Eggshells; Danny and Winnie the Metapod take shelter from the rain in Meteor Falls. Discover a broken egg. Mysterious Pokemon witnesses Danny with the scent of blood on him. 2. Ashes, Ashes, We All Geddan: Minor plot mention in first post; mysterious Pokemon recognizes Danny, who is talking to an older man about fishing and patience. Watches Danny skip a few rocks and isn't impressed, eventually leaving to the Hoenn Desert. 3. Hot Scotch; Danny and Aph have some communication problems, and that's never fun. And as Danny crosses the Hoenn Desert, the heat gets to him, making him lose his senses until he gets the idea to have Larry use Rain Dance. Upon being sent out, Larry is too bewildered by the sandstorm to listen to reason, and Danny eventually cracks under the pressure. The same traveling dragon from earlier hears the commotion and gets curious, and then decides to help out in her own way. She lets out a roar to snap Danny out of it and kicks up a huge wave of sand in her flight, effectively escaping the Hoenn Desert in the process. Danny kind of assumes it was some strange mirage, but doesn't understand how he got caught up in that wave of sand. 4. A Chapter in Lavaridge; Lots of goofing off and interactions shared between Danny and his Pokemon. He managed to hatch his first egg all by himself, but his infant Froakie wants nothing to do with him, so talk about a punch to the heart. Lavaridge was a nice pit stop for relaxing with the team, but a couple of rumors and shady rumors got Danny wondering about a mysterious red blur that's been lurking about. RELATIONSHIPS [ Amber Kazuki ] "My little sister can't be from hell, but she is." 1. The Kazuki Reunion; Sheryl's the owner of this bar, and she totally jipped me! She made me break those dishes because she needed the staff for the bar's Costume Night, and ugh. What a conwoman. At least I look MAD cute as a maid. 2. High School Musical AU. Man, Danny and Amber are going to wake up from the weirdest dream ever. 3. Sibling Shenanigans; Under the impression that the Haunted Wood Walk is filled with only mild spooks and scares, Amber, Danny, Fang, and Hermes decide to give the event a try. Horrors, pants-wetting, and screaming ensue when monstrosities and ghost pranks strike! [ Arietta Connally ] "Cold looking weirdo?!" 1. Fancy Symbols; Excuse you, I'm as warm and lovable as they get. She keeps calling me names, but I think we're friends. We could be. Who knows. I kind of beat her unfairly in a Pokemon battle, but it's cool right? Yeah, it's probably cool. We also have each other's numbers now, so she's at the mercy of my cat memes. [ Algernon Dion ] "No idea what he's talking about, but I'll play along." 1. All Show but No Blow; This guy was nice enough to give me a map when I lost my way in Castelia. He's a little weird, but that doesn't mean he isn't a fun guy. I decided I like him. [ Josh Dragomir ] "I thought he was nice, but his Pokemon are pretty hostile. What's up with that"" 1. Don't Shoot the Fishing Blonde; Oh yeaaah. There was this one guy that had this scruffy beard, and if I ever forget his name (it's Josh by the way), I can just call him Buff n' Gruff or Blonde Shaggy. At least the nicknames stick, heh. I pissed these kids at Dewford beach off, and this guy saved my ass by having his Gyarados eat me at the last second. He's a little unorthodox, but that's fine with me. [ Jerbear ] 1.
