Josh had snickered as he had left the room while Izumi was on her profanity ridden tirade as she ate. He had to get dressed, of course. He would return some ten minutes later to Izumi finishing and still muttering, and he laughed a bit. Of course, that was until Izumi decided to get up and take a flying leap, bringing him down to the ground with her! His hands had wandered for a moment, instantly trying to find a chink in her armour to try and shove her off, but as his hand passed over her rear, he could feel the heat from when he had smacked her there! "Ouch, looks like someone took a hard one" He would tease with a laugh before he would start to massage the palm over the smack-hot section of her derrière. Was this a flirt? Or perhaps just serious payback for the karaoke?
Of course, this turned out to be a ruse, as he would suddenly lift his hand and bring it down on her rear, spanking her over and over, harder each time! She wanted to get physical, he'd defend himself with physical!

“Oh, you’ve definitely done it now!” she began, finding him pinned underneath her flying leap attack—but the tyranny wouldn’t end, as he’d chosen that right time to slap her behind once more! Only thing was, it wasn’t just once, it went on again and again—and out of reflex, she then raised her knee and then attempted to make him stop by aiming a clout on his thighs, borne on by her knees acting reflexively! “Oh, that’s crossed the line!” she continued, hissing as she then steeled herself and then brought down her own forehead to conk against his, without thinking.
Sure, she’d already steeled her pain reflexes, but nothing would have the satisfaction of ‘utter pain’ by conking her own head against his forehead. Who knew that the sounds of skulls thumping against each other would sound like that? She thought as she then conked her forehead against his again; another sensation of satisfaction (and thinly-disguised pain) rippling from her forehead. “I told you I’d get physical…” she muttered, propping herself up with her elbows, before boosting herself further upwards—whoa, who knew that she’d be in such close proximity to him after that tackle?
“In either case… let’s get to work,” she said with a smirk on her face, aiming a punch to his guts before finally pulling herself up and dusting herself off, touching a hand on her rather…sore derriere. “That seriously hurt. Don’t hate me if I’m going to hobble around the rest of the day…” she said with a smirk, picking up the tray and pressing her other hand against her forehead, before exiting out of the room; shutting the door with a snapping noise. Ooooohhh, that really hurt! She thought, still pressing her hand to her forehead—she’d gotten her little revenge on him in a small way.
Now that the sun was well up in the sky and the morning was wearing on, she could hear the sounds of the other hired workers filtering in from the windows. “Oh, crap. Got to get workin’!” she hissed, making a mad dash towards the kitchen and preparing for the rest of the day.

This was where Izumi found out the hard way that Josh was used to using his hard head as a weapon. Maybe that's why he was so thick in terms of love, he had an incredibly hard head? Nah. But seriously. During his time in Kohaku, Josh ran into some rather... Unsavoury types, both human and Pokemon alike. He was forced at times to use his trained hands and feet, along with his head even. And elbows. And... Yeah. He was a trained fighter, even if he didn't tend to come off as one. His head was just another of his trained weapons and his having a hard head helped that. So all it would really do was hurt Izumi as Josh would continue to spank away. He would take his hands away from her rear to block the punch, and once she got up and complained, he would respond by landing one more hard smack to her rear end before heading out, Lightning behind him.
As Izumi headed to the kitchen, Josh went out to rally the Pokemon to get working. Another day!

Who knew that she’d rammed her head against what felt like an iron wall?! Izumi was hissing as she finally made her way down to the kitchen, before dumping the trays’ contents into the sink and turning on the faucet in order to be able to get them all scrubbed out.
It took the better part of fifteen minutes, but she managed to get all the dishes squared out and cleaned. That was when she started to hear the sounds of work coming in from the window; and knowing that it was better to get the food for all the workers cooking, she then set herself to make as many sandwiches and get as much refreshments ready during the span of time that they were working outside.
Over at where the various ‘mons and work force were now getting into action at full-tilt, the Gardevoir had assumed Izumi’s position and began to assist the Braviary by lifting up some more of the remaining beams; before letting the pair of wings carry it to the floor that they were working on.
Some of Izumi’s other ‘mons started to drift in too; notably one of them was the Kadabra who had a single spoon in its hand, followed by some of the other Fighting-types that she had. Sooner or later, if one cared to look, there was a rather small regiment of Pokémon who were assisting the Gardevoir and Braviary in bulding up the rest of the second floor; workers aside.

Poor Izumi, she would never learn. Well, perhaps she would after finding out she had headbutted the equivalent of a brick wall. Good job, Izumi! Good job. Good job, indeed. Regardless, she would find Josh outside later on working on the house with the Pokemon. He had rallied his own Pokemon, as well as some of Izumi's and had gotten to work on the second floor. Sweat protruded from his forehead as the blonde haired Trainer worked just as hard as the Pokemon themselves. Of course, his little army of Timburr didn't hurt. And Gustave, his Bulbasaur, and his Power Whip was great for moving certain pieces. For a little guy, his vines were quite strong, Josh noted.
As he worked, he would note Izumi in the window, and stick his tongue out at her playfully. He'd make a quip, but he would wait until she came outside, of course.

Now that most of her Fighting-types were now assisting the Gardevoir and the Braviary with transporting beams and all the other heavy items that the workers needed up on the second floor, Izumi had gone back to the kitchen in order to start preparing the meals for the workers and the Pokémon that were working on the house proper. Seeing that she didn’t have too much time, she knew that one of the safer options to go to were sandwiches, for the time being. Cracking her knuckles, she then went over to the pantry and began pulling out cans of assorted spreads; before checking the bread bin and seeing that it had been just restocked.
Well, I really do have to thank Serena for shopping for all the food later… oh, I know… the raven-haired Trainer thought with a grin as she then pulled out several loaves of bread along with a couple of knives and jar-openers. Sure enough, Izumi had gotten to work constructing a myriad of sandwiches—some with cheese slices, the others with salami. Some of them had homemade chicken spread, the others had homemade tuna meshed in-between the two slices of bread. Yet others still had chocolate and peanut-butter; some had jam and jelly spread. Well, it’s going to be literal mountains of sandwiches at any rate… get a sandwich, guess what the filling is… she mused to herself as she began to fill up several trays with sandwiches that were already fully-constructed.
Sooner or later, she had several trays that were starting to pile up with sandwiches filled with ‘mystery fillings’ and she knew she was going to get a kick out of the entire thing. Once she’d filled up enough trays to go around, she then got to working on the juices and beverages, mixing them all together as fast as she could humanly manage. She knew that the hired help were only going to be around until a certain time of the day; and it was better to keep them well-fed and happy; as opposed to hungry and grumbling!

Josh meanwhile, had been working with his hands, along with the Pokemon and the hired help. Despite being allowed to just kick back and declare orders while holding the blueprints, he did that as well as going right into the thick of things and working with his hands to build this quote on quote dream home of theirs. The flooring of the second floor was finally finished over time, and so the walling had to be done.
The hired help had been instrumental in keeping everything together once it was placed, but a great deal of thanks had to be given to Joshua's fire types as well. Fawkes, Inferno, Vulcan and Ignis had been instrumental in using their fire attacks to keep the flooring and walling together and stuck that way. Vigilance had been helpful as well, sniffing and digging through the ground in case there was anything under there, anything harmful such as pipes.
With the flooring done, progress on the walling had begun. They were at the halfway point now... Hopefully it wouldn't be much longer.

She knew that even if her companion was working to all hell, everyone who’d been hard at work outside would eventually feel hungry; and the raven-haired girl began to set up the outdoor table, bustling as quickly as she could manage. Once the table had been propped up (and the tablecloth had been spread out over it) the female began to bustle to and from the house, carrying out tray, after tray, after tray of sandwiches that she’d slapped together herself. But she wasn’t done with just the sandwiches and the PokeTreats, though—because after the very last platter had been laid down on the place, she then began to hustle backwards and began to cart out the refreshments, complete with towers of disposable cups as well as several buckets of ice.
Once the refreshments had been laid out on the table, she then cupped both her hands to her mouth and took a deep breath, before clearly announcing her intent, “HEY, EVERYONE! Food’s on!”, before whistling as shrilly as she could for added measure and attention. Of course, the Fighting-types that she had helping out the hired workers quickly laid down what they were carrying, before making a beeline over to where their owner stood. Once she saw her own ‘mons approaching, she then chuckled, before beginning to hand out PokeTreats. Sure, she’d borrowed the recipe from Serena, but she was still in the middle of experimenting on how to give them the “perfect” texture—because her current batch was rather mushy, to say the least.
“Sandwiches are goin’, and fast!” she called out again, seeing the literal stampede of humans heading her way before witnessing blurs diving in and out of the plates and the refreshment nook. These men eat like Snorlaxes… she thought to herself with a grin on her face as she then held up a special platter—she’d already carted away several for Josh to chow down on; without him having to plunge in with the crowd and get crushed…or worse.

They had done a good amount of work, but now it was starting to lay things down underground for the basement. "Hmm... How can we do this..." He would wonder. He had Salia and Inferno for digging, but what else could he... Oh right... The THING he caught just for this.
He would let out a whistle. "BUNNELBY SQUAD, REPORT!" He would call, as holes in the ground would pop up, bringing out a group of 4 Bunnelby, led by Destructor, his original Bunnelby. "Alright boys. We need a basement started up under this place. I need you guys to dig us a foundation so that the construction workers and I can work on it down there. Be careful down there" He would warn, showing the Bunnelby Squad the blueprints. They would nod and dig down, not only starting to dig the basement under the home, but also digging a passage for Josh and the Pokemon to get down there to work on it.
After the two sides had split work between the basement and the 2nd floor, Izumi would call them out for a break. Josh would smirk over at her as the Pokemon, and people alike, would stampede for food. Josh would walk over to Izumi when she called him over to chow down on some sandwiches away from them. "Ah, Izumi, I could kiss you. Thanks" He said with a laugh as he would wrap his arms around her and gave her a big playful smooch on the forehead, before sitting down to chow down on the sandwiches, grabbing his water bottle to wash it all down.

Since she’d spent most of her time inside the house for the rest of the morning while everyone was working, she didn’t see too much of the building action going on outside—only that she’d encountered the stampede of people (as well as Pokémon) that had come out charging and practically decimated the contents of all those trays she’d carted out by her lonesome. The raven-haired Trainer could only chuckle as the tall blonde approached her before practically scarfing down the contents of the tray she’d saved just for him. “You eat like a Snorlax,” she remarked with a smirk as she then watched him snarf and stuff down the sandwiches with a bottle of water.
“So how’re things going so far? I’ve asked my Fighting-types to assist with Momo and Sora over there… thankfully nothing too crazy’s happened so far. Since you’re already busy over there, I figured, why not keep making food for everyone?” she remarked, before hearing a clamor coming from the nearby table—all the sandwiches and most of the refreshments were gone! “Whoa. They sure eat fast,” she added with a chuckle, before excusing herself from his presence and retreating back to the house. “I have to bring out the second serving, be back in a bit,” she called out, before making a mad dash to the table and scooping up all the empty trays before balancing them and making a break for the back of the house.
Several moments later, she’d re-emerge once again with even more platters of sandwiches; and this continued for a while until the table was full-up once more. She then carted back the trolley that held the empty pitchers and came back sometime later; all of the containers refilled and ready to go. Once she’d laid out everything for everyone to sink their teeth into, she then chuckled and made her way back to where Josh was, carting a special second serving of sandwiches for him to eat. “Who knew they’d want more,” she began with a sheepish chuckle; indicating the people that were crowding around the table once again.

Funny, she hadn't reacted whatsoever to his little surprise for her, as joking as it was, after she'd brought him over for his own helping of sandwiches. "Everyones working hard, I'm glad at least someones keeping them fed" The blonde would joke over at her with a chuckle, noting that the workers and the Pokemon, including the Bunnelby squad who were eating as if those blasted sandwiches were freakin carrots. "See those Bunnelby? I caught most of them, besides Destructor, recently. I knew we'd be needing a serious digging squad, and all of those new ones have a Hidden Ability, giving them super strength. Great for digging. Destructor is a great coordinator and leader for them though, even if he can't dig as fast" He would point out, ignoring her jests about him eating like a Snorlax, though did utter something about at least he didn't scarf them down in an embarrassing uniform while he dropped everything.
"The process is going good. We're splitting time between the second floor and the basement. Bunnelby Squad is doing a great deal of work for the basement quite quickly, so it shouldn't take them long" He said. "After that, just need to get flooring placed down, but the holes are... Well, basically dug. It won't be long now. By days end, the basement should at least have flooring. And second floor should as well. First floor already has it's walling and flooring, already have cables and power and such plugged in, with the walls built around it. Second floor has the cables and such put in, just gotta do the walling with that" He would explain.
As Izumi left and returned, the group would start eating once again, and Josh chuckled as Izumi came over to him, as he would scarf down another sandwich. "Everyones working hard. Of course they're hungry" He remarked with a small smile.

Of course, due to her being extremely busy with making all of the food that the workers were now chowing down on, she’d promptly missed the little surprise that Josh had dropped on her forehead and only realized it sometime later; it was only then she felt the blush creeping out across her face at that point in time. Now that he’d mentioned the bunnies, she couldn’t help but take a look over at where there were a couple of… “Wait a second… why do they look like that bunny on that… what was that… Nesquik?” she blurted out without even realizing what she’d said until it struck a chord within her several seconds later.
“…oh Arceus I’m sorry I said that! But they really look like that bunny on the milk supplement package,” she added with a nervous peal of laughter, before slowly but surely inching away from where Josh stood. She could feel that there was a noogie incoming, one way or another, and she had to be as far away from him as possible! She didn’t miss his remarks about the house finally taking shape either, and chose to comment about it as quickly as possible in order to avoid the potentially embarrassing silence that followed afterwards.
“Well, we both know that Arceus didn’t make the world in a single day, so I’m quite frankly surprised that we have the first floor complete and the second floor plus the basement is taking shape rather quickly. Shouldn’t we go over the entire place and confirm that the structure is sound?” she remarked with a look of concern passing over her face.
Izumi then chuckled as she continued to watch the workers going back for even more servings of the sandwiches and everything else she’d made—before deciding to get an idea. “Hey, Tho’real… don’t you want to take a walk or something? Y’know, like, get some fresh air or something? inhaling all those wood chips and sawdust might be doing a number on you,” she added with a smirk—before quickly tossing the empty tray onto the grass and making a run for it, in the hopes that he’d chase her down!
She knew that she had to get as fast and as far away from Josh as she could—simply because of the Tho’real comment—and she put on a quick burst of speed, zipping by the chuckling workers and the Pokémon who were now relaxing for a bit!

He would chuckle a bit when Izumi compared his flock of bunnies to something from a chocolate commercial. "Yeah... They're just my Bunnelby Squadron. They're great diggers" He said, smirking. "I might just bring them along to a ruins exploration sometime to see what they can dig up. They could be very useful in that district" He said, cracking his neck. He smirked, but had a noogie coming for her later. In time, of course. He would nod when she would bring up how quickly they had been able to do the construction. "It's true. Of course, we have a lot of Pokemon helping us, plus some outside help as well. It's a given that things would be moving along so quickly. But what day is this?" He would inquire. "Honestly, I've lost track. We've been working on this for days on end"
"Yeah, we'll definitely do a check after the break" He said, before smirking at her offer for a walk. "Sure!" He said, and laughed as he would dash after her when Izumi would decide to dash off. "Whoa! What's the rush?" He would inquire as he ran after her.

“Just come and get me!” she shouted as she continued to run away from where Josh was most likely attempting to catch her by chasing after her full-tilt. She knew that she could only run for so much until she toppled over from exhaustion, so the moment she felt herself taking deeper and deeper breaths of air, she knew she had to stop running and finally flopped over on a low-cresting hill. Hopefully he’d be able to find her, because who knew that running so short a distance could actually wear the hell out of her? Izumi then proceeded to prop up her hands behind her head and lay down on the grass, feeling the wind whistle all around her.
She knew that the workers (and their companion Pokémon) would get back to work sooner or later, and that she would have to eventually return back to the house in order to prepare the next batch of food—but it felt good to be away from the construction site for a while—even if it was a bit too quiet for her; where had her companion gotten off to?! She then sat up and looked around shiftily, trying to pick out where he’d gone to, before shrugging and laying herself down again on the grass and beginning to count the clouds that were lazily drifting by in the sky.

"H-hey! I thought you wanted to go for a walk?" Josh would call out towards Izumi as he would chase after her. This was probably going to look ridiculous to the Pokemon and the workers, he thought. What in the world was Izumi doing? Well, there wasn't a whole lot that he could do besides follow, full speed. Of course, being 6'2, Josh had longer legs then Izumi and could cover more ground in a single bound then the raven haired Trainer. And of course, his training. He was physically fit, and kept himself in good shape, so running wasn't that much of a problem for him.
Eventually, should the lying down Izumi open her eyes, she would find the blonde haired man staring down at her, blinking. "Uh, y'ello? Earth to Izumi? I'm up here" He said, giving a casual wave with a small smirk. What in the world was she planning here? Why had she decided to take off at a run like that? She was a strange bird, indeed...
"Don't tell me that someone found your uniform pictures, did they?" He would tease with a laugh as he sat beside her.
