As Kouji felt his Aerodactyl straining to fly upwards, he then realized that they were well out of the room where he’d almost died; and that they were now up on one of the rooftops of the many ruins that dotted the area. “Alright, Sky… can you go over there?” he asked, hoping that his Aero was listening. He was debating on whether or not he was going to take the risk and point with his arm, but instead decided to use his foot to emphasize where they should go, at least. The Aero happened to look down; and was still struggling, but saw that there was a foot in his field of vision pointing to something that resembled a tower. “I’m sorry about the emergency situation, but thanks for saving me,” he continued; and then felt the Fossil ‘mon shift directions and head towards where he’d pointed.
Approximately ten minutes later, the Aerodactyl had veered towards the aforementioned tower and Kouji had dropped from his grasp, falling for a few feet before rolling down to the hard stone and tensing his entire body for the jolting impact. “Here we go,” he muttered, dusting himself off and then looking up at his Aero, who then proceeded to perch himself on one of the overhanging parapets before breathing out a sigh. “I’m sorry if that was sudden, and if you’re tired… come here, you can rest now,” he continued, recalling the tired, yet extremely grateful Aero back to his Safari Ball. Now that the Fossil ‘mon was resting inside the containment unit, he then proceeded to look around the roof top—and saw that there was an entrance not too far away from where he was.
“Alright, let’s go and see if I can find a way out of here…” he said to himself, squaring his shoulders and heading towards the opening that was seemingly inviting him in…
