 Wondering if giving up the rainbow-colored Key Stone was such a good idea, Izumi continued to search through the perimeter, the Blaziken at her side—also helping her paw through the overturned rubble and all the junk that had been left behind by previous searchers. Just as she was about to give up and leave the place, her Blaziken saw something not too far away! With a victorious squawk, the Blaziken then made her way over to a fallen column, and then began to heft up the column (even if it was ridiculously heavy) and was struggling to do so. It was at this point that Izumi had noticed that Zira was behaving rather strangely, and then chuckled—because the column was several times her size and she was trying to lift it up, with no success. “Wait, Zi. Stand back, let her help you,” she continued, before plucking out the weathered Love Ball and sending out Momiji, who unfurled herself to full height after emerging from the red beam. Now that she had a companion who could levitate things that were much bigger than her (because Izumi was a firm believer that the power that a Pokémon exhibited was proportional to their respective evolutionary level) and watched silently as the Gardevoir then levitated, with some difficulty, the slab of rock that the Blaziken was trying to lift up. Now that the rather large chunk of rock was floating high enough from the ground, the Blaziken then quickly snatched up the thing she’d seen—before the Gardevoir then let it crash back down once the Fire/Fighting-type had gotten out from under where the huge slab was levitating. Now that she had the prize in her hands, she then called Izumi’s attention by quickly walking in front of her and very nearly dropping the thing in her hands to the ground! “Whoa!” she shouted, barely managing to catch the thing before it shattered into a million pieces. As she examined it, she saw that there were curved lines, as well as grooved edges cut into the thing. Wondering what the hell it was, she then turned around and asked him, “Is it me or is this thing back to haunt me?” with a chuckle on her lips, before finally deciding to claim it for herself.  |  WORDS 384 TAGS Josh Dragomir NOTES May the odds be ever in your favor, J.
