Josh couldn't help but laugh when he realized that Izumi hadn't realized Wob's gender until now. "Yeah... I was kind of uncertain about Wob's gender at first too" He would admit. "But Wob... Doesn't see to, yknow, see itself as a female. It doesn't act like one, nor seem to identify as one. So I've been calling Wob an it or other pronouns as long as I could" He explained. "It just doesn't seem to like it, and won't respond when I called it she unless I persisted, so that's how I figured it out" He would add.
Josh's own Blaziken would peek over, curious about the proceedings. He and his other Pokemon were curious about the hug, but did not seem as concerned as Izumi's 'mons did. Likely, they knew they were friends. If they thought of it as anything else... Well, who knows?
Josh considered letting go, even if he didn't want to. Had he been holding on too long?

She cracked a grin at his initial response before retorting, “Heh, so the almighty Joshua isn’t that all-knowing too, I see,” with this maniacal grin on her face. Before she could burst out cackling, she then remembered that she was still enveloped in his arms; and the intensity of her blush was now practically at breaking point. Even if she was loathe to let go, she could tell that her ‘mons were now wolf-whistling and cheering them on, so she quickly untangled herself out of aforementioned hug and caught sight of her own Gardevoir—and boy, was her Momiji’s face one for the ages! “Momo! What the hell, you were picking up on everything and you didn’t tell me?!” she began, approaching the extremely flustered Gardevoir; who now had her face hidden in her limbs.
The Arcanine was still chuckling; the Flareon was now staring at Izumi in a whole new light—and even if the Charmeleon didn’t want to admit it, she was impressed with the boldness that her mistress was taking. The Blaziken was sniggering in triumph, before crowing out loud—all of her own ‘mons, save for the Gardy, had picked up on the cheering and echoed it all around. “Alright, alright, guys, simmer down. You’re literally embarrassing me in front of preferred company,” she said over the uproar some fifteen to twenty seconds later, raising her hands and attempting to calm them down.
She then caught sight of the Charmeleon, and noticed that she was in a more…amicable mood. “SO. That’s what it’s going to take to calm you down, eh, Ravana?” she began once more, placing her hands on her hips and facing the aforementioned Charmeleon with this leery look in her eyes.
“…didn’t know that all of you guys were such voyeurs,” she muttered a few seconds later, turning around to face Josh before visibly rolling her eyes in his direction; while every single one of her ‘mons tittered with glee. “Well, I guess that settles the rampaging Charmeleon…” she trailed off, raising her arms out of annoyance and giving another pointed eye roll, to which all of her ‘mons responded by chuckling in her direction.

"Oh shhh" The blonde let out, giving Izumi a friendly noogie from the hugging position. "I've only been a Trainer a couple of years, even if I've been living around Pokemon my entire life. Simmer down, before you get your ass smacked again" He teased with a cheeky grin. "Seriously, I'll do it, and you won't like it" He snarked. Well, maybe she would. Who knows? Finally, Izumi would untangle herself from their embrace, and it was there that Josh would notice that her Gardevoir was blushing. Josh would tilt his head. Just what was going on here? His own Pokemon were snickering a bit, but they seemed to be understanding for the most part instead of heckling their Trainer. There was a respect shared between Trainer and Pokemon that for the most part was noticeable, after all the time Josh had spent dedicating himself to taking care of each and every single one of them. They knew not to repay that love and kindness with jeers. While they snickered a bit, they knew it was best to let Josh be comfortable. It was all part of the respect. The snickers mainly came from some of the newer Pokemon, and were shut down rather quickly by some of the older ones, namely Lightning who shot them a death glare that only a Pikachu that had been here awhile could give, causing them to shrink away. Of course, this wasn't something that Josh taught them. They had decided on and behaved from it themselves. If any of them got a kick out of these antics, they kept it to themselves, besides the few.
The blonde laughed a bit when he saw the Charmeleon had finally calmed down. "About time, huh?" Josh said, eying the Charmeleon that was rampaging prior. "Maybe it just needs a hug" He joked with a casual shrug. "A sparring session with Fawkes could work as well. Or even one with one of my other Pokemon that are in the second stage" He would suggest. "We can go do that now, if you want"

“About Arceus-frickin’ time, you mean,” she retorted with a dark chuckle, before turning her attention back to the Charmeleon, who’d seemingly let her guard down and relaxed after that little hugging scene. The Arcanine then chanced to look down and saw that her… “charge” was no longer misbehaving, so with a sigh, she barked in Izumi’s direction, before looking at her inquiringly. She then looked at the Arcanine, before gesturing with a wave of her hand, “Alright, Shinku. Get off Ravana. I think she’s had enough,” and at that, the much larger Fire-type then hopped off the smaller, more rambunctious bipedal lizard.
Once she saw that Ravana had been freed, she then approached the little one more cautiously than ever, with the Blaziken and Gardevoir beside her. “Alright, Ravvie. Let’s try this again. What set you off?” she began in a softer tone, crouching down in front of the Charmeleon, with the Blaziken seemingly crossing her arms behind Izumi, and the Gardevoir was ready to assist if need be. “Momo? Care to help me?” she asked, and the Gardevoir then kneeled down beside her as well; before tapping the Charmeleon’s head with one of her limbs. At the same time, the Gardevoir was communicating the images and emotions she was picking up on into her mistress’ mind’s eye; and after a few moments, she then picked up the Charmeleon—and flinched slightly at the sudden weight—before finally carrying her in a proper hold.
“Geez, that’s all you needed?” she continued, staring head-on at the Charmeleon, who then playfully aimed a bat at her hair. “Well then…” she trailed off, turning around to face Josh again, struggling a bit due to Ravana’s sudden weight. “This bad little girl just needed to get all that rage out… as for your offer, well…” she trailed off rather thoughtfully, trying to think of a way to address it so that it didn’t sound like she was avoiding the issue. “Let’s save it for our place in Nue, what say you?” she asked with a hopeful tone in her voice.

The blonde would let out a chuckle. "Riiight, right" He teased with a small smirk. That was the end of that argument, it seemed. At least, for now. Josh would sit tight and watch as Izumi would order her Arcanine off the previously rampaging Charmeleon. Well, that was one way to quell a rampaging firing breathing dragon in training, he supposed. Josh would just relax, with his Pokemon beginning to file out now that the commotion was over, as Izumi would work to calm down what was left of her Charmeleon's rage. Josh watched this with a small, interested smile. It was... Certainly interesting the method that Izumi employed in order to calm down a rampaging dragon like that. He realized there, that there was a lot he could learn from her. Actually... There was a lot that they could learn from one another.
Josh would nod to her response to his offer. "In Nue, then" He said. "Now that the situations over, do you want to head back inside? He asked, holding out his hand for her to take and be led back in.

While she was struggling to carry the rather heavy Charmeleon in her hands (who was now attempting to entangle her claws in Izumi’s long hair) she was very much relieved; knowing that the entire situation was now officially over. What she wasn’t expecting, however, was the fact that after some quiet yet deliberate consideration, Josh here would actually agree to the idea of moving the requested sparring session to the new region altogether. She then sighed in relief, before letting Ravana hop off her hold and finally turned back to join her assembled ‘mons there—while she took the offered hand. At the same time this was happening, the Gardevoir suddenly felt another surge of embarrassment race through her; and her face was blushing another rosy shade of red!
“Can it, guys,” she muttered a few moments later, letting the shampoo commercial model lead her inside—because they were snickering and tittering in her direction with much glee again. Mostly, they were sniggering at the reaction that was written all over the Gardevoir’s face; for it was really one for the ages. In return, the embrace ‘mon then flailed her limbs and began trying to shut up the other assembled cohorts who’d come with her, to no avail—the chuckling grew louder. “Oh, shut it, you lot,” she ended with a grin on her face as they both stepped inside; the sniggering noises growing fainter with each passing step. They’d have their fun time—but they knew that at the same time, that Izumi was a master of retorts and retaliation, too.
