EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Skrelp, huh? This one had been requested to Kouji by Izumi herself on Josh's behalf, knowing Josh was hunting for dragons. Josh would step into the ranch, addressing the asshole assistant. As he took the egg, he smiled a bit, thanking them. "Ah Izumi, I could kiss you" He cracked, to himself, as he stepped out.

Kouji was surprised, because he had received a call from someone who was looking for a certain bird with a certain move. He knew he had the female variant, but where on earth was he going to get the male that had the move that he was looking for? Several minutes of head-scratching later, he’d found someone who had the Braviary with the aforementioned move; and he was a bit surprised to see that it belonged to some famous actress back in the Unova region, who’d also relocated to Nue as well. “Heh, talk about lucky,” was all he had time to say, before heading over to the Transporter, and inputting some certain commands. After waiting for several minutes, the Transporter began going off, before dropping two containment units into the slots that were allocated for PokeBalls.
“Alright, time to get this show on the road…” he said to himself, quickly opening the Transporter and extracting the two. Inside one of them was a Pidgey that he knew belonged to his benefactor; and had recently gained a name after that sudden naming spree. The other one was a Braviary—but it wasn’t his benefactor’s; he suspected that she was somewhere in this vast new place, travelling and looking for something to do asides from mulling over certain things that he suspected she wasn’t completely over with. “Hmm…” he continued as he released the Braviary and the Pidgey out onto the grounds, before letting then fly loose. “If you need any help, just knock on the windows, okay?” he shouted as the two birds soared away into the sky surrounding the Ranch.

It was the New Year, alright—and there were new orders pouring in. “Speaking of which, that reminds me…” he began, suddenly remembering that he had a few more extra orders waiting for him. Now that the entire holiday celebrations were over, and all the revelry was done, it was time to get back to work. After he’d consulted his mobile phone in order to check what he needed to get done today, he then saw that there were two breeding requests already lined up for the week—he could get to one right now; the other one was a bit more complicated—but he’d eventually get to it as well, all he needed to do was to find some time in order to be able to get what he wanted done.
In the meantime, he could only scratch his head, because one of the two requests came from Josh; it was like settling back down into an old routine, after the big move had been done. After securing the two necessary ‘mons needed for this venture, he then went back out to the modest-sized Ranch grounds—in fact he owned two plots of land. One was in Bayonada, for the breeding business; while the other one was all the way in the Wilds, where his benefactor (and her suspected “significant other”) had seemingly chose to settle down for the move. Knowing that he’d be getting swept up in requests sooner or later, he then let the Heliolisk and the Ampharos loose, before shooing them off to someplace a little more private.

Kouji knew that the advent of the Aquarium was incoming—and that his other boss was kind of going crazy trying to get as many Water-types as she could in order to be able to consider the business as “well-stocked” and “off the ground”. He then knew that he had to help with the effort as much as possible; and here he was, lingering around the temporary aquariums that had been set up once again in order to be able to get two of the Water-types “negotiated” in order for them to breed. As he then tossed the two containment units up and down (one of which contained a Horsea, the other a Feebas) he then wondered—what would his boss think if she got her hands on the eggs? He’d definitely have to contact her about it eventually.
At least these two have a wide berth of Egg Moves available… either one or the other, I don’t know. This is the exact same pair I used a few weeks ago for the Christmas rush… he mused to himself as he then tested the salinity of the water, making sure it wasn’t too salty, otherwise the two would shrivel up and die. No no, he definitely did not want that at all. He then sent out the two occupants, where they landed with a soft splashing sound in the water. He then chuckled at the pacifist male Horsea, and then at the rather… feeble female Feebas—he’d really have to get working on raising the Water-types in order to get them evolved, and not have them in their current “baby forms” (because it was much nicer for them to be able to stand up for themselves).

Erin had been notified of a couple of eggs waiting for her in Kouji's ranch not long after she arrived at Bayonadaville, looking for new species to add to her new project's collection. These news brought a smile to her face. She had been so preoccupied dealing with little details here and there, worried beyond relief despite her not having to travel to each of these locations personally in preparation for the big inauguration, that she had almost forgotten about the breeders whose help she had hired to bring her Bubble Dome to life. Luckily for her, each of them had already been getting down to work. The Aquarium was slowly filling up with all kinds of marine creatures.
First, she had to pick these eggs up, though. One of the babies, it would seem, had been bred quite a while ago already, but the other was a fresh egg. After a few seconds of pondering, Erin decided to send Kouji a quick message detailing who—a female intern at one of her father's corporation's many companies, who by the way was not aiming to become a professional carrier—and when—that same afternoon, at around 3pm—would be retrieving the eggs in her behalf at Sakuraba Ranch. A similar message was sent to the corporation's COO before the young lady left the hotel room she'd be staying at for the following days, headed for the dock.

With construction for the Bubble Dome going full-blast, Kouji knew that it was most definitely time to start contributing more Water-types. He knew that he had some lying around somewhere, but the question was, which ones was he going to use? He then remembered that his benefactor had a Walrein with a very…weird Ability of some sort (he was only starting to learn about Abilities and the wealth of Hidden Abilities) and decided to give the thought a spin. After punching in a set of coordinates in the Transporter (he was currently over at his “office of business” in Bayonada) he then waited for the two containment units to be dropped into the respective receptacles, before scooping them out. In all actuality, he hadn’t had enough time to have a source of water built within his office Ranch grounds yet, so retrieving them was the only option he had right now.
As he then held the two containment units in his hands, he then proceeded to walk out to the back, where the modest-sized Ranch grounds awaited him. It wasn’t as large as his old Humilau stomping grounds was, but it definitely needed a place for all the Water-types he was strangely amassing to move around in; hence one part of the place was cordoned off due to construction for a man-made lake being built in that area. He could only hope that the two would survive without water—they were fully-evolved anyway, so who knew? He then sent out the occupants of the two, and then watched as the flash of red light then transformed into first, a Walrein that was very familiar with him by now; while the other one was his own Golduck, retrieved out of cold storage.
“Don’t kill each other, please,” was all he said, before leaving the two to do their business…

While Josh already had a Flaaffy, a Mareep with Eerie Impulse seemed like an interesting idea. Perhaps he could train them differently? Who knows, but for now, Josh would head over. He would take the egg from the assistant, wishing them luck and telling them he'd see them soon before heading out. I mean, they'd practically be neighbors soon right?

Now that the orders were definitely beginning to pile up, Kouji knew that he didn’t have much time. Hoping that it was okay for one of the other affiliated Trainers for him to borrow his Azumarill, he decided to take a gamble—because he knew that he had a Poliwag with the right “egg move” of some such, but no compatible female to pass it on to. Seeing the Azumarill gave him an idea, and he then decided to leave a note to one of his affiliates, just to let him know that he’d be borrowing some of the Water-types that Thomas had in storage. Hoping that he wasn’t too busy with the water rabbit that he was going to use, he then punched in a set of codes on the Transporter, and waited for a few minutes before one of the two arrived—his own Poliwag, which he’d fished out of the ocean back in the Sevii Islands.
He was wondering if the little one was in use, when another containment unit suddenly dropped down—why did it take some time before the second one arrived? He then shook his head and quickly scooped up the Azumarill’s containment unit, before walking outside and letting the two loose. “Sorry there’s not much water yet,” he began, crouching down and facing the two properly. “But the next time you guys come out here, there will be a fresh water lake here, I promise. They’re already working on it,” he continued, pointing to the roped-off section of the Ranch, where there were people working in order to get the additional feature constructed. “For now… uhhh, don’t upset Nuijappa, okay? He’s… well, he’s a tad shy,” he ended with a sheepish grin as he then left the two alone to do their business…

He thought he’d heard something from upstairs, and returned his gaze to the newspaper…when he saw a round, pink ball peer around the corner, looking absolutely distressed. Sighing, because he already knew that Neili’s appearance meant that nothing good had happened, he then folded the newspaper he was about to dive into, before getting up and out of the chair that he’d already settled in. He’d already gotten to the point in time that whenever his Chansey made a hesitant appearance in his reading room, then there was trouble out back in the Ranch grounds. He then stopped by the store room and unlocked the door, before slipping inside and looking for the thing he needed—a literal surplus of mushrooms that he’d had left over from the giveaway that he’d hosted over the Christmas break.
After sifting through the selection, he then pulled out a particular one, before rolling it over and over in his hands. Once he’d deemed the mushroom satisfactory, he then continued to make his way out back—where the Poliwag was now absolutely cowering in fright at the sight of an Azumarill that was definitely not amused at his…mediocre performance. “Oy,” he began, smacking a palm to his forehead. “Alright, here, have a whiff of this. Don’t shred it to pieces, okay?” he continued, gently approaching the Poliwag, mushroom in hand. Once the little Tadpole ‘mon had scooped up the sticky mushroom and had swallowed it whole (without chewing) Kouji then gently backed away, hoping that the two would have at least reconciled at this point…
