From the moment he knew that Neili had peeked around the corner of the room, he knew something had gone wrong. With a sigh, he then extracted himself from the comfortable chair (and his newspaper) before shuffling across, making sure to grab the keys to the store room, as he followed the pink Egg ‘mon downstairs. Wondering what had caused the two to make such a racket, he then let himself into the storage area and looked around for a paper bag, before checking the contents with a concerned look in his eye. Drat. Running low again, have to stock up on more of the funky stuff… he thought as he then pocketed one of them and followed the Chansey outside. What had caused the two to suddenly argue and not get along? But… they’re freaking genderless! How in the seven hells is this possible? He continued to muse to himself as he followed the light pink blob out to where he’d left the two.
As the Chansey then bowed and left him alone—he immediately saw what was causing the trouble: even if the Ditto (who was now zooming around in the form of a Rotom) was trying to catch the actual Rotom’s attention, it hadn’t budged and was just…glowering distastefully at the “thing” that had dared assume its form. “Geez, since you both have no gender…who the hell am I supposed to give this to?” he said with a sheepish look on his face, procuring the mushroom he’d taken out of storage in order to try and use on them. He could only guess as to how they’d ended up glowering daggers at each other. “I know this is weird, but here, have a ‘shroom. It will help calm the nerves,” he continued, setting it down and then leaving the area—before the smell got to him.
Congratulations! ROTOM and DITTO have successfully bred 1 egg(s)!

After realizing that he’d managed to produce just a single egg from the crazy attempt, he then realized that he had to go shopping again for the “funky stuff” since they were running quite low at this point. He then decided to make a mental note about it, before stepping out—he knew that the Rotom egg would be going up for grabs at that little event; but there was just this other Breeding thing he had to get to. It looked like his benefactor was busy—for he now saw another Deino, and this one was huddling at the edge of the rocky out crags that the Dragon-types called “home”. He then saw that Kiba, the Axew, was trying to sharpen its fangs on one of the pillars that comprised a crag.
Grinning, he then whistled gently; before watching the little dark-green thing hobble over—and he scooped up the Axew in one fell swoop. “You’re coming with me…” he continued, before venturing out to the lakeside where the Milotic was sunbathing. Seeing that Mariko was just tanning herself, he then whistled again, before letting the Axew hop out of his grip and slowly approach the regal, Tender ‘mon. “You two be nice, okay?” before leaving them to do their own thing.
Breeding! (by way of affiliation)
Zuzu's male Axew and female Mariko; all resulting spawn will be unbreedable; if Axew: EM Endure

He thought he could hear something squealing and shrieking in the distance—and then saw that the Chansey had reappeared at the edge of the doorway. “Oy, something is always never right…” he said with a sigh, getting up and out of the chair before following the Chansey downstairs. It was the first time in a long while that he’d drawn two duds in a row; and that he was having to resort to the funky mushrooms way too often… he’d heard weird, strange whisperings regarding side-effects that the mushrooms would offer if overused; but he decided not to believe in it until it did happen eventually. Making sure to stop by the store room, he then grabbed the almost-empty paper bag and pocketed one of the two remaining ‘shrooms and then followed the Chansey outside.
As he wove through the Ranch, grinning at the general uproar and confusion that was erupting all over the place, he then saw that the Milotic was completely and totally sassing the Axew—who had taken to hiding behind a rock. He could only hiss in sympathy, before quickly giving a glare at Mariko, who was completely sassing the poor little Dragon-type. He then shook his head, and after a few exchanged words, quickly fed the mushroom to the Milotic, before carefully and gently sneaking out behind the rock and bringing out the Axew once again. “Alright, Kiba. She said she’s sorry. So… please try not to wreck the place, okay?”
Breeding!
Zuzu's male Axew and female Milotic. EM if Axew: Endure; all spawns (if Axew) will be unbreedable.

Now that he’d managed to get another singular egg from the attempt (what was it with him and just getting one out of a possible three) he then decided to get to Josh’s requested breeding—an Oshawott. He knew that the scruffy guy (as he called Josh in the back of his mind) was just as much a collector as his benefactor was, and he knew that the chances of knowing someone with a collection as extensive as hers was few and far between (well, he knew about Yumi and her own little horde of an army but that was that), so he decided to humor the man. After checking the list of available potential “egg moves” that could be passed to the Sea Otter but hissing—since apparently Agility was out of the question—he then decided to give one of his own ‘mons a little exercise. It just so happened that he was carrying around the potential partner that he had in mind, so he decided to go out back and start searching for the Oshawott in question.
After raking through the shore line (and not finding his intended target) he then realized that it was highly possible that most of the so-called “starters” had retreated to the freshwater lake; and redirected his footsteps headed in that particular direction. The closer he got to the fresh water lake, the louder (and raunchier) the sounds were becoming—he then snuck around the place and hid himself behind a tree, just to see what the hell was going on over at the lake shore. He then squinted, before realizing that most of the Water-types had gathered and were now having some sort of a “race”, cutting through the water’s surface as fast as they could go. Chuckling, he then began to scour around; trying to spot the Oshawott—and saw that it was on the opposite shore, apparently waiting for whoever could reach her first. Grinning all the while, he then proceeded to where he’d caught sight of the Water-type, before sending out his own Mareep, Voima, to walk alongside him.
As soon as they’d reached the opposite shore, he then let the Mareep walk forward; before whistling in the Osha’s direction, then ducking into the bushes nearby. Naturally, the Water-type was curious, and turned to face the Mareep who was now approaching with cautious steps…

He was LAAAAATE!
Josh groaned as he pulled into the ranch once again. He had to remember to send Kouji an apology text. He sighed as he would quickly pull off his helmet and hop off the bike, Lightning behind him. Josh wasn't a fan of being late, for sure, but what the hell could you do when your bike, which your mother had decided to try and deck out with the hover qualities from the hoverbikes in Orre, decided to start driving UPSIDE DOWN!? Yeah... She still had some kinks to work out. And Josh was heading straight home after this. He would head in, quickly inquiring to an assistant about the Oshawott egg. Once it was in his hands, he bid farewell and mentioned again for Kouji to let him know about payment. He had a bike to get home and fix...

The new week had begun, and Kouji looked over at his mobile phone, it was going off like an alarm. After checking out why it was causing his phone to go haywire, he then remembered that he did agree to breed a few things—namely, one of them was for yet another “mysterious client” that had contracted his services; while the other one was for someone a lot more familiar; Erin had asked if he could get her some Hoenn-native Pokémon for some contest that she was going to enter. After checking out the details for himself about the contest, a grin spread across his face; he knew that he would never say “no” to a preferred client’s request. That reminds me, I better put in the formal request for affiliation with her sooner or later, since we’re going to be business partners when the Aquarium does finally get off the ground—I better check and revise some of the envisioned “designs” that I have in mind… helps to have an assistant who knows a bit about what I’m trying to execute, and even better skilled hands to actually interpret ideas to paper… he thought with a grin on his face as he then remembered that he didn’t need to wait for the Transporter, he just had to go outside and look for the ‘mons that he was going to breed.
The aforementioned mysterious client was requesting for a Charmander; particularly one that knew a certain egg move that made it highly sought-after. The problem was that most of the people he knew who had these Charmanders were all sterile—meaning, he couldn’t resort to borrowing their stocks. However, he did have an “ace in the hole”, now it would completely and totally hinge on the two ‘mons cooperating. I know just the thing… he thought as he then began scouring the grounds; looking for the two Fighting-types first. He knew that Erin wanted a Meditite—or was it a Makuhita—but the contest that she was going to be entering stated that only ‘mons bred from his benefactor’s home region (Hoenn) would count, and he grinned—the two he had in mind were over-qualified for this instance. After finally spotting the Meditite under a tree, and convincing him to come along with for a while, he then headed out to the Grappling Rock in order to find the female Makuhita, who was busy chipping away at the huge slab of rock; trying to reduce it to a fine powder. “A friend of mine is asking for a little something… so be nice, okay?” he said, before giving the Meditite and the Makuhita a pat on their heads, respectively.
After leaving the two Fighting-types behind, he then whistled; because he knew where to find Char, but Kaira was going to be a problem. He really could never understand why his Horsea always had a volatile temper, or maybe it was caused by her previous owner…? In any case, he then shrugged, before seeing Char and scooping up the Fire-type in his hands. “Calm down, little one… I have a request to ask from you…” he said, soothing the panicky Charmander down before heading over to the fresh water lake in order to retrieve the feisty female Horsea. He knew that she’d been borrowed for a Seel breeding some time ago, and was just second-guessing the dates; but he could tell that she had recovered—because of the way she was spewing ink all over the other Water-types that dared approach her. Once he’d managed to settle Kaira down (and get several ink bombs to the face) he then left the Charmander with her; leaving the female Horsea with a stern warning not to put the Charmander’s fire out.

So Kouji was here, scratching his head now—for his two attempts this week had produced a mixed bag. The breeding request that Erin had put in had gone through—however the other one, as always, had flopped. He suspected that it had something to do with his feisty Horsea, yet again. Sighing, he then made his way past the nursery—where Neili was now taking care of the two eggs that the Meditite and Makuhita breeding had produced; and knew that the tired parents were sleeping somewhere on the Ranch. Making sure to stop by the store room, he then snatched up the paper bag, before mentally hissing—since he was down to one last funky mushroom, again. Shaking his head as he then made a note on his mobile phone to go out and buy more mushrooms, he then went out to the grasslands proper in order to start searching for the delinquent Horsea that had apparently deliberately set out to make his life miserable.
I swear, I have to give Kaira a hard talking-to… I’m quite sure that Char didn’t like how she acted the first time they met… he thought, remembering the last scene he’d noticed before leaving the two alone—that the Horsea was leering quite derisively at the Fire-type. He could only shake his head at that scene as he finally managed to locate the two—where the Horsea was indeed acting like a delinquent, spurting and spreading ink bombs all around. After managing to locate the Charmander (who had hidden himself behind a rock due to the sudden burst of skill and fright that the Horsea possessed) he then glowered at Kaira, before apologizing to the Charmander. Once that was done, he then made his way over to where the female Horsea was, looking at him quite evilly; before he pulled out the mushroom and then quickly fed it to the female Water-type. Here’s to hoping shit doesn’t go down too badly… he thought as he left the two alone again.

"Wow, the boss has been getting a lot of attention lately. I wonder why?"
A black haired woman with her hair styled in an impeccably-neat bun, matching her immaculate navy blue business suit. She was tempted to ask her boss or his assistant about this matter, but the boss was always too busy and she was downright afraid of his overly-possessive assistant/secretary/lover. That woman had a few screws loose when it came to the boss according to office gossip -which is a totally believable source of information when it came to the higher-ups- and she wanted no part of that kind of crazy.
"I guess it isn't my business to know. Would have been nice though." She muttered to herself as she walked inside of the ranch and made a beeline for the reception desk.
Once she was there, she gave a polite smile to the cashier. "Hello there. I am a representative of Mr. Miguel Hidalgo. I am here to pick up the egg he has requested as well as give the special contract and permit that your boss, Mr. Kouji Sakuraba, had wanted as payment. If he wishes to discuss further terms, he may talk to me or to his personal assistant Ms. Miyu Sergius about it."

Today was apparently going to be a very busy day. After he’d gotten a text from Josh asking him if he could get a Turtwig bred for him, he knew that he had just the perfect partner for his benefactor’s Grotle; an Oddish who knew Grassy Terrain. Sometimes I thank my lucky stars that her Turtwig is now female, otherwise this would never work… he thought to himself as he looked up and heard the door opening; the door chimes tinkling as someone entered the normally quiet Ranch premises. He couldn’t pick out the individual—she was coated from head to toe in shades on the darker end of the spectrum. What is it with people dressed for the dead coming to my place anyway? Is it trying to tell me something? He thought curiously as he then checked his mobile once again—and then saw another message from another unlisted number, before looking up and realizing that this mysterious client had sent an associate to get the Charmander egg for them!
“Alright, thank you for stopping by to get the Charmander egg. Also, please let your boss know that I’ve been informed about the arrangements that were made,” he began, quickly slipping to the front and holding an occupied Incubator that contained the orange-red egg that had a yellowish spot on it, which was radiating warmth even from inside the container. “Do keep our Ranch in mind if you want to conduct further business as well,” he added a few moments later—he knew that even if there were other Ranches around, a little advertising wouldn’t hurt too much, right? Especially with that event in Kalos… eesh, everyone’s going crazy over it right now… he thought as he then watched the female associate leave—before turning back and checking that he still had to breed that Turtwig. “Crap, hope she’s not using Hayato…” he muttered as he then went out back and began searching for the two ‘mons that he was going to use.
After finding Plume (and accidentally walking away with Blossom at first, until he realized that the Oddish he was carrying was female and not male) after a rather interesting switcheroo, he then began trotting through the orchard—finally managing to spot the Grotle who was apparently sunbathing in a patch of grass. “Well… Plume, go there and entertain Hayato for me, please? I…have to get to a few more things…” he said, letting the (thankfully) male Oddish hop out from his hands and headed towards the sunbathing Grove Pokémon.

Charmander claimed, now getting to Josh's other request
