Somehow, she have heard of the Lapras egg that was available here.
Okay, maybe not somehow. More like, in the recent weeks, Stellar was looking for a proper, water type Pokemon that could ferry people across large surfaces of water. Usually, the one that carries her across waters are either her Armaldo, who could only carry her for short distances, or her Aggron, which is not really meant to ferry people across water in the first place. Late during the war, she hadn't seen the need to get a water Pokemon, deciding to fly quickly or keep low, but nowadays, since they are going to travel a lot, and at a relaxed pace at that.....no way she's taxing her Aggron or her Armaldo, or any of her other Pokemon, for that instance.
"Hello?" she called out from the counter gently, "Uhm, if I may ask, is the Lapras egg still available? I promise I'll take care of it the best as I can."

Altair stared at the blue haired woman for a moment with an inscrutable expression before breaking into a pleasant smile. "Of course, madam. I don't mind it at all. I can do that at the same time as the other breeding I have to do for this week."
The blond haired man smiled and nodded as he continued. "I will have the price settled once the breeding is done and over with."
He didn't have the time to prepare the pokemon or even the papers before another person -another woman too- entered the shop, this time asking for an egg. "Well, I actually do have one more egg... it's about to hatch anytime soon, too. You're quite lucky, madam. I will have the egg for you shortly. That will be 30 dots."

As soon as Zernebog walked into the shop, he took one look around the interior and raised an eyebrow. "Blondie's not here again, I take it?"
The green-eyed blond teenager manning the store nodded. "Yeah. He's off in Sinnoh for personal business apparently. You missed him by a day."
Zernebog shrugged. "Figures. I rarely ever get to see the guy, if at all. It's as if the fates themselves want to avoid us being together in one place for a long period of time."
The blond guy chuckled. "I wouldn't go that far, dude."
Zernebog rolled his eyes. "You obviously don't know fate very well, do you?"
The guy could only blink and shrug. "Hey, I'm just a regular guy. Anyways, what are you here for?"
"I was the client that Gwyn mentioned when she made the breeding request." Zernebog shrugged again. "Since I let Red Eyes borrow my Torchic for his own personal agenda, I get another discount on top of my no rare tax clause in my contract with this place."
"Oh alright." The blond man nodded. "It'll be 30 dots for the egg, dude."

The first thing that greeted Altair as he walked into the store was his cousin's smirking face. "You missed him again, Cuz."
”Again? Really?” Altair looked a bit exasperated as he walked to the counter. ”Wait. The woman's breeding was for him, I presume?”
"Yeah, pretty much." His cousin shrugged. "He paid for it himself too."
Altair raised an eyebrow. ”I thought the woman was going to pay for it, not her client?”
"Apparently, it was only if there were multiple eggs. Since there was only one, he had to pay. Or so he explained when he paid for the egg and took off." Altair looked at his cousin for a few moments before nodding.
”Very well.” Altair shrugged and hopped over the counter, prompting a scoff from his cousin for showing off. ”I'll just finalize those papers so that he doesn't have any problems. Oh, and is the Absol egg still in the incubator?”
"Yes sir." His cousin nodded, looking a bit insulted. "You actually thought I wouldn't remember? I've been in this business longer than you!"
Altair smiled. ”Better to be safe than sorry.” The yes, I did was implied in his tone as he walked towards his office.
"Jerk." The cousin huffed and returned to manning the counter.

The curvaceous red head known as Yumi walked into the breeder's quarters with her small steel type, Max the Aron tucked quietly in her arms, it's wide eyes looking around curiously, wondering where exactly they were. Yumi had heard word of a pokemon on her family list that she may like to bring up, and thought the guy here may breed it for her. For the right price of course. Spotting the blonde breeder she swiftly mad her way over, pokemon still hugged close to her chest as she addressed him.
"Hey er...I heard you have a pawniard that you might be willing to breed. Is there any way I could persuade you to make me an egg of it? " She gave the breeder a sweet smile, hoping she may be able to get the egg, and maybe even at a good price.
Aeon walked into the shop, his Krokorok in tow. The Pokemon looked disinterested in the surroundings, seeming to want to be elsewhere at the moment. Once up to the counter in the shop, Aeon spoke, "Hey, I heard you had a Ponyta available to breed.
I've been trying to get a hold of one for a while, but traveling to Sinnoh and back for business is starting to eat into any profits I make. So, I figured I'd cut travel costs by bringing my Krokorok here for a breeding with your Ponyta."
Requesting breeding between my Krokorok and your Ponyta

Altair smiled at the girl pleasantly while internally wondering just what it was she was hugging to her chest. Oh well, he could probably check the internet later. It always had the information he needed... except for that one incident with that Bulbra that turned into an Abra, but he'd rather not think of her ever again.
"You don't need to do persuading of any sort, milady." Altair chuckled and gestured to the Pawniard that was just sitting on a chair near him, watching the proceedings with his usual indifferent expression. "I'll be more than happy to breed Javert for you. It is our job after all."
Before he was able to turn back and work his magic on Evita and Javert -not that they needed it anyway, what with all of that unresolved sexual tension that was always around them- another person entered the store. The new person kind of reminded him of his most frequent customer, the mysterious white haired man. Hm. Interesting.
The blond haired man listened patiently to what the man needed and then nodded once he was finished. "Of course, good sir. I can do that. If your Krokorok will follow me, I will have him bred with Atalanta."
Then he addressed the both of them. "I suggest you return in a day or so to check for any eggs, alright?"
Giving you a romantic mush for the failed egg roll on mienfoo and pawniard
Upon seeing the result, Altair couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Javert and Evita, both of whom looked a little sheepish.
"Do you both need some of those mushrooms so that you two can do it properly?" Altair dryly remarked as he looked at the two of them. "This is the first time you haven't been able to score, Javert. Surprising."
He was tempted to make a comment about his Pawniard's age, but he wasn't that rude. "Well... let's hope that you actually score this round, okay, buddy?"
Evita snickered beside her bed partner as she watched her trainer pull out a yellow mushroom from his pocket and give it to Javert. Hurray teasing material~ Maybe this would make their pillow talk more interesting.
Despite the snickers and the ribbing, Javert was stoic enough to not react negatively and simply ate the mushroom. Once he did, he felt two warm arms snake around his waist and pull him back into the nest-bed.
"Mien~!"
With an amused grin, Altair shook his head and left the two to their little session.
Aeon returned the following day to pick up his Krokorok, and hopefully a new Pokemon egg as well. Once inside, he could see two eggs labeled with "Krokorok&&Ponyta" sitting in incubators. With a grin, he walked up to the counter.
"Hey, I'm back for my Krokorok," he stated as he set some money on the counter, "And how does 25 dots sound for one of the eggs as well?"
A black hoodie pulled tight is all you can see as she pushes herself inside, as if avoiding eye contact as much as she can. A repeat customer, sure, but she still didn't actually want to have to be out in public. But, she needed to do this.
"E-Excuse me, sir..." The voice is meager, but loud enough. "C-can I, um... purchase one of those Ponyta eggs...?" Hemlock digs around in her bag for a moment to pull out the proper amount of dots listed.
Steps into the breeding ranch, having seen the egg for sale sign right outside the entrance, "Twenty five dots correct?" tosses the money onto the table, retrieving the egg soon after before walking out.
