elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

Akemi walked back into the Gardens of Babylon, the first breeder’s farm that she had the honor of visiting. Apparently, the breeding that she had requested had succeeded, at least that was what her voicemail said. Already she was excited; she had caught Pokémon before, but she’d never gotten an egg... not to say she didn’t know what to do with it, of course; she made sure to read up on that.
Getting up to the desk again, Akemi instinctively held a hand out to ring the bell to get someone’s attention, but she quickly recalled her last time here and instead set her hand down on the desk. “Hello? I’m here to pick up that Tentacool egg I asked for.”

"Boss, are you trying to prepare something behind our backs?"
Altair turned around from where he was giving a pep talk to the assembled pokemon and raised an eyebrow at his secretary. "What makes you say that, Maria?"
She pursed her lips and raised an eyebrow. "Your phone's log has several unlisted numbers in it that had back and forth calls going along. You also have some papers hidden away in your desk that you don't want anyone to see. Pretty suspicious if you ask me, Boss."
Altair chuckled. "You'll know when the right time comes, Maria. Be patient and all will be clear eventually. Right now, you leave me alone to do my magic, alright?"
"...yes sir." She said after a few moments of hesitation.

Another one of Miguel's employees was back in the ranch named Gardens of Babylon, but this time it wasn't the same scruffy businessman that normally dealt with them. Instead there was a strict-looking brown haired woman with thick horn-rimmed glasses, a perfectly-immaculate business suit, and a shrewd expression on her face as she power-walked into the ranch. She didn't care for the people who were scampering out of her way because she had some business deals to attend to and no one will stop her from finishing it right on schedule. She did have a date after this, you know!
"Hello? I am here to see Mr. Stavros about a Squirtle egg, a Skorupi egg, a Spheal egg, and a Tentacool egg in exchange for dots and a private business transaction." She called out as soon as she entered.

"Boss, why did you want to meet us in the main meeting room?"
Altair looked up from placing the Larvesta and the Spinarak in a cozy (yet very appropriately creepy) den for breeding. "I'll tell you all when we get there, my dear. I'm not about to give out spoilers. Not even for you."
His assistant pouted. "Awww... boss, you know I don't like surprises. Especially not after that mess in Kalos when you came back looking like a punching bag. Heck, I didn't like it when you told us that you had a secret meeting room all this time and never bothered to tell me or Maria-senpai."
Altair chuckled. "A man must have his secrets. Anyways, just wait for me to finish with these breedings and I'll tell you why I called the meeting in, alright?"
She sighed but nodded. "Yes boss...."

Wiping some sweat off of his neck, Zernebog grumbled to himself as he pulled out his phone. It took him fifteen minutes to remember how to open the blasted email inbox on his phone, but he finally figured it out after much perseverance. In contrast, it only took him a minute to figure out how to open the new email.
"...?" Zernebog's eyebrows shot up almost past his bandana when he read the message.
Wow. Just wow. He'd been looking for a Larvesta for years and this creepy dude he'd been having business with just hands him a voucher for The Gardens of Babylon for one in exchange for the past transactions. That was just so weird but he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
"Time to find a transporter...." Zernebog scratched his neck as he began to text on his phone....

The stern lady from a few weeks ago was back. This time she had two pokeballs with her as she approached the Gardens of Babylon along with a small smirk on her face. Why was she smirking? Because this was the first time that she got to pay something with barter instead of a contract like the past few times. All she had to do was to get to that Altair Stavros in order to give him the two special Diglett with the strange ability of Sand Force that her boss had recently caught while in Bosky Hamlet as payment for the Larvesta for her boss and his associate.
On another note, it was good to see her boss finally being able to balance both gym leader duties and his CEO duties, albeit shakily. There was some good that came out of his short disappearance back in Iceburgh after all... even if a certain someone nearly went crazy when he came home extremely late.
She sighed and shook her head. Business time.
"Hello? Is Mr. Stavros here? I'm a representative of Mr. Hidalgo...." She called out in front of the door.

"Boss? Are you sure about your decision?"
Altair blinked and raised his head from where he was currently dealing with two water pokemon - a Spheal and a Poliwag. Somehow, this situation seemed very familiar, only with a different topic.
"Yes, Maria. I'm sure." His crimson eyes twinkled in amusement. "Perhaps I should be asking you that question. Are you really going to follow me when I move?"
Maria crossed her arms and scoffed. "Of course I am boss. You are the one who writes my paycheck and as your only remaining personal secretary it is my sworn duty to keep you on track at all times. You wouldn't last a week without me in the civilized world."
Altair paused for a few moments before chuckling. "Alright... alright... you made your point. Now leave me be to work my magic on these two pairs and we'll talk about this some more."

Little tiny silly egg awaiting the moment during which Unnur would pass by the fancy ranch and pick it up. It was a cute little seal, she knew, although this one was blue and possibly fatter than Prince. Specifications beyond that were unknown to her, however, as she had not been the one to arrange this breeding. She rarely was, quite honestly. She was the one to pick them up, in most cases, which she was starting to realise wasn't so good of her. She should know. Unnur needed to know how to handle these matters as well, and not let Erin just do everything for her as she always had, ever since they found each other in the base of that snowy mountain where she was being chased by—
Unnur needed to know. So, when she finally made her way into the rich building with the ostentatious decor that somehow came off as familiar to her, she said, in the most prim and proper voice she could muster, "Hello. I've come to pick up a Spheal egg." And then, as the receptionist arranged papers and clicked away on her computer, she added, "Big place." Her eyes scanned the reception room thoroughly, searching for other personnel or Pokémon or eggs that could hint at how the ranch worked even if slightly. "How can you keep up with the many orders I'm sure you receive, and so many Pokémon? And how do you receive new orders?"
The young girl's words, despite her best efforts, wouldn't end up being very subtle, but after many questions asked in the same manner, Unnur could pick up that breedings could be requested via email or by accessing the GES's official website—whatever that meant—and that was good enough for her. She picked up her egg, gave the woman her thanks, and left as silently as she had come and failed to remain during her stay.

Thomas rushed over to the familiar breeder and client's place of business. When he heard that the breeding was a radical success, he immediately headed over to reclaim his Azumarill, and claim the egg containing his future Azurill. The trainer saw someone at the desk, and immediately fished for his wallet.
"Thomas Thaddues, I'm here to pick up my Azumarill, and the egg I requested.", he told the person at the desk.
After the price was listed as fifteen dots, since Thomas did provide them with the mother and egg moves, the trainer quickly fished out the money he needed for the transaction, handing it over the counter.
Immediately, the Azumarill came into the room holding an incubator occupied with an egg. The trainer stepped to the side, placed the incubator on the counter, and gave his Azumarill a tight hug.
"I missed you, little gal!", he said to the blue bunny affectionately.
After their reunion, Thomas grabbed the incubator, and headed back home with his Azumarill by his side.

"Are you three ready?"
Vincent gave him a nod as he held up his brush tail with his other hand, ready to paint another masterpiece. Mary, his Hoothoot, gave him a blink and a hoot to signify yes. Beside her, his benefactor's Togekiss gave him a cheerful chirp, being used to him by now.
The Hoothoot then closed her eyes as the Togekiss made a wish, his body flashing brightly with a white light as he made his wish even though his health was still full. The Smeargle didn't flinch despite the burning sensation his retinas experienced and pointed his tail at the Togekiss. He gave Altair a pained grin and a thumbs up as he finished absorbing the new move.
After that, he then turned to the Hoothoot and pointed his tail at she looked at her willing victim - the Togekiss. He could feel information flowing into his head as her eyes glowed red and lulled the Togekiss to sleep after a moment. When that was finished, he walked over to Altair and rubbed his eyes a little.
"Thank you two for cooperating with me." Altair chuckled as he petted both the Hoothoot and the sleeping Togekiss. "Now it's time for me to work my magic with Vincent here and two other pairs. Later guys~" He and Vincent left them in the room and went off towards the new breeding room in the new and improved breeding room inside the new Gardens of Babylon in Nue.
New beginnings indeed.
