Bosky Hamlet was.. very different from the places she had grown accustomed to in Kalos.
This was the first time Arietta had visited this place, and for some reason thinking along those lines was all that she could do. It was a bit confusing to her, seeing as how she used to travel about to random places all the time. She could have listed 'Tourist' as her profession for gawshing gawsh. When she was seeing your Hoenn's and the Orre's, she wasn't constantly comparing everything to Kalos. Why now?
The question was somewhat of a silly one, because there was an obvious difference between those times and this. Those times she was just visiting those places. She was enjoying the sights. She was there to see different things. This time was different because like a silly she had just gone up and decided to move to a place she didn't know. Kalos had always been her home.. and she had always appreciated it as her home. She hadn't fallen in love with this place yet..
Ugh. Frustration bubbled in her stomach and her heart, she didn't care. This place was dumb, Kalos was dumb, all of it was dumb. Why had she left Flash City for this stupid place? Stomping little princess of rage, she moved this way and that way with her anger.. losing herself and where she was pretty quickly. Not like anyone could tell one bit of nothing from the other bits of nothing, was the sort of thought Arietta was having. This place didn't know how to do small places right.. back home in Kalos all the smaller sort of places were done up all beautiful and quainty. This place smelled like a giant butt and she hated it.
Rage had been a friend to Arietta lately, a hot friend like this day was... with the sun bearing down. She supposed it was about noon, and her stomach was starting to growl. Thoughts of food were a comforting one, and the idea of having a nice big lunch was an easy line of thinking to grow fond of.. but then she realized she had no idea of where to even GET something to eat around this stupid dusty..
And splat, enough rage will make the most coordinated of people sloppy.. and Arietta was never one of the most coordinated coordinators. Tripping on a bit of the wilderness around her, along this way into town.. she landed right on her face. It wasn't pretty. It looked like it hurt and really did. She didn't move, and she wailed there on the ground..
Poor thing.
You don't know them like I do
Apologies for my massively rusty RPing, Summer Grey

Rolling hills and serene meadows, with forest scenery, sparkling brightly in the early afternoons of June. Dew drops glittering among the patches of grass, shining even more brightly as golden bars beamed down upon them from the skies above, where only a few clouds of formed. Pink locks swayed in the chill breeze that followed behind her footsteps. Doe eyes glanced around taking in the scenery completely, before proceeding to walk down the endless road. The sweet scent of rain filled her senses; this was Bosky's rainy season after all and it happened to be one of her more enjoyed seasons.
She loved the summers here. Her time away from Bosky Hamlet gave her a true new appreciation for the season. She enjoyed the smell of fresh blooming grasses and flowers, and the swift wind that carried behind. The weather was never too cold and never too hot. But what made her love the season more than anything else was the abundance of Pokemon that appeared from their hiding places and made their appearances known once again. She enjoyed her time on the farm watching the creatures poke their heads from their hiding spots to come join her on her adventures, at least this is what happened during her childhood. She could only help but wonder as to whether or not the Pokemon at her family's farm would remember her.
Alas, it mattered not since going back to her farm was the last thing on her mind at the moment. She had returned here simply to cure the sickness that stemmed from being away from her hometown, and she knew that if she returned home it would be gut wrenching for her to leave.
Continuing, she moved down the roads with Titania skipping at her side. The small Fairy-type enjoyed their visit home, it was the happiest that Summer had seen her in awhile. The Clefairy had been born here and for the better half of it, raised here up until Summer came of age and decided to leave. Occasionally she would let out a small noise of glee or stop and take a deeper look into the scenery, before proceeding to move beside Summer.
A brow would raise and Summer would find herself stumbling upon a young girl who was laying face first into the dirt. The girl hadn't seem to be crying but she surely wasn't enjoying herself. Moving closer, she would crouch down beside the girl with her arms outstretched towards her; Titania on the other hand was poking the girl from the opposite side, her beady eyes curiously wondering whether or not the girl was dead or playing some odd game.

"Does it look like--"
Arietta stopped herself.. the young red head pulled herself up a little bit, just enough to meet the eyes of this stranger. A barrage of thoughts and feelings slamming at her head.. but she did her very best, bless her heart, to keep it all in check. No. This person was checking up on her. Good. Good person.
"No." she said, which might have been a surprising answer. Normally in this situation, the person deflects and says Yes right? Even if they weren't okay.. it was human nature to play it cool and tough. Arietta didn't do that kinda thing. "I'm having an awful day and my nose is sore." she says.. and it certainly looks bruised. She had a little darkened color to it already. She pulled herself up enough to sit on the ground, cross legged. Her eyes were sharp.. never leaving the strangers.
"You gunna do something about it?" She challenged, her mannerisms defensive.. angry, but none of these feelings were really directed at her. The world. People. Lots of things.. but not her. But she was right here, and the personification of the world was not. She would have to do.

Bambi eyes could see that the girl was bruised as soon as her head lifted from the dirt. She could see that the girl must've had a nasty enough fall to make her nose bruise up a light purple; that she assumed was only going to darken as time went by. Summer had lived here for most of her young life and didn't come without the occasional bruise and scrape that made her aunt and uncle sigh on every occasion as they never though Summer to be an outdoor child. She was always one to get into shenanigans with the Pokemon on the farm, ever so often did she not come back with a bruise on her cheek or a scuff of dirt on her face, she was all but innocent to the woods of Bosky and she knew that if one didn't tread lightly they were bound to get hurt.
Before she could open her mouth to offer help, the girl had already begun to ask for Summer's assistance, though it was in a rather crude matter she was asking Summer nonetheless. Her brow raised as the girl challenged her for help, now this wasn't something she had grown used too. Though Summer had never actually had friends, aside from her Pokemon, she had never been challenged for help, but considering the girl's situation she couldn't blame her for being hostile.
Offering a smile, she reached into her backpack and began digging through her supplies. On a normal basis, Summer was unprepared for situations like this, but considering she knew what Bosky had to offer she had luckily went to the store an hour prior just in case. It took her all but a moment before she pulled out a yellow colored gel, confined in a clear jar, from her backpack. Quickly without saying a word, she opened the jar and quietly placed some of the gel on the girl's nose offering a smile slightly after.
"It'll stop the bruising, and keep it from hurting too much...just don't touch it."
Proceeding to sit cross-legged, she patted her lap gesturing for Titania to come and take a seat. The Fairy-type gladly skipped over to its partner delicately landing in the middle of her lap, and fiddling with some of the contraptions in her backpack. Pulling out a small bag of candy, the Pokemon smiled up at its trainer then turned back to Arietta eyeing her curiously. Her beady eyes took in all of Arietta's frame before digging her hands into the bag and offering the stranger a piece. Summer noticed this and smiled. Native to her species, Titania was always a cautious creature but should Summer give the go-to, she was near instantly trustworthy. And even if Summer didn't approve, the Fairy-type always made sure to be kind and generous to others.
"I wonder if she's from here?" Summer mused silently to herself. The girl looked about her age, but her face wasn't recognizable. Though Summer lacked social graces, she had seen just about everyone at Bosky before her leave, frankly because of her aunt she knew just about everyone that owned Pokemon or wanted to buy the few organic products that were sold on the farm.
Drawing in a quick breath, she finally spoke.
"I guess no one warned you about venturing out here alone. Kids are known for disappearing out here, or getting bruised from walking out here too far. So..are you from here?"
Taking a moment, Summer let out a crisp gasp.
"Pardon me, but I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Summer and this is Titania."

Arietta just did not understand.
Why was she doing this? Why? Why was Summer sweetly tending to her nose instead of yelling back?
Arietta had been trained to expect certain responses from her mannerisms. Most of them were not good. She had expected to be looked upon with scornful eyes like usual. For people to not understand.. because people never understood.
It was such an easy thing for Arietta to tell herself, each and everyday. So when people flipped the script on her and did stuff she just didn't expect.. she sort of just stood there, mouth agape like some kind of fool.
Eventually though, as she stared at Summer with a light flush on her face, her mouth would open and words would come out. "T-Thanks.." was the first thing to come out, thankfully.. fighting out against all the other things that she was considering saying.
Her attention shifted for a moment as she felt guilty for making the sweet Pokemon that was offering a piece of candy wait even a moment for an action. Pokemon were never something Arietta had trouble expressing her sweetness, or her kindness too.. and she gently took the offered candy. "Thank you too, cutie.." the smile that Arietta shared was geninue and warm. She popped it in her mouth and made a happy sort of expression.. candy was not something she offered herself often but it was such a good feeling to have a piece.
Food had been harder to deny lately though.
Attention eventually had to be shifted back towards Summer.. a much harder entity for Arietta to approach. There was something she wanted to say.. but she was at odds with herself. When she stared at Summer's warm expression, she was having an internal battle. Wanting to apologize for her behavior.. but also not feeling like she should have to. This person should just understand.. right?
And although Arietta couldn't find an apology in her heart just yet, she could find a response. "No.. I'm sort of new.. I.. I've come from Kalos.. A-Arietta" her face turned red... as she started to pour over and analyze Summer's ever word. Did she think of her as just some kid? It was true that some people felt she could still pass for a preteen.. and the wording she had used made Arietta feel as if she did. Just some kid who got herself lost. She didn't know how she felt about that.
She tried to pull herself up for now.. take things one step at a time. Deal with all the feelings as they came. Even if it made her a blubbering idiot and not the confident princess she wanted to be. .

Since Summer was but a child there was a lesson her aunt had always told her, "always be kind, courageous, and always do onto others and you would want them to do onto you," it is for this reason alone that Summer expected no apology from the girl. In any other situation she may have expected some sort of praise or at least a well worded apology, but in this case Summer wanted anything but. She was making an attempt to instill the ideals that her family had pressed upon her, and though at this moment the girl was currently in a rocky state of mind, she knew that her kindness would soon pay off. Her understanding of the girl's actions namely stemmed from her knowledge of what it was like to be alone in some far off place, that was her entire life when she first moved to Nue. Frankly, it was still her life now.
"Arietta" she mused silently to herself. That was the name of the girl that stood before her, and though Summer found herself watching the girl cautiously, she couldn't help but find herself somewhat curious; no she was not curious rather she was intrigued and interested in the life that the girl left behind in Kalos. Though Summer had never been, she had heard that it was a wonderful place, full of large buildings and skyscrapers, lights that touched the sky, and people who were anything but cruel. She also seemed to find herself curious in the girl herself. She wanted to know more about her, for reasons she could not explain then again when it came to other Humans, Summer was always curious about their lives.
Reaching down she patted Titania on the head before proceeding to usher the Fairy off her lap. Standing, she instantly, looked at Arietta taking in her full form as Titania did seconds before. Turning her back towards her, she looked out into the distance before drawing in a quick breathe and proceeding to walk. Looking back over her shoulder, she smiled.
"Say Arietta, Titania and I were about to go on a little picnic. You should join us."
The Fairy-Extraterrestrial turned back towards Arietta and let out a small squeal of excitement, before proceeding to bounce beside Summer who was now moving towards a small clearing. Looking back she offered, Arietta a smile and gestured for her to follow.

Arietta watched as this strange creature named Summer seemed to get lost in her name. Still.. even the pouty princess had to admit there was something calming about the way she spoke it. This person had a vibe about her that she could only describe as nice.. she seemed very nice. It was an intoxicating sort of feeling.. this feeling of niceness. With how rough life had been for Arietta, she wanted to get lost in it.
Still, things seemed to sort of hang there, causing Arietta to feel a bit awkward. She would glance a bit at the ground, and rub her arm. Her nose still felt sore, but.. she felt more then just pain on her nose. She felt that feeling of whatever she had rubbed there, a sticky sort of feeling.. but she supposed it was warm.
Arietta didn't know, her feelings were wierd.
Her face felt warm when she heard the invitation.. she almost had to wonder where all this niceness was coming from. Was she planning something? Recent events had made her distrustful.. but.. spending some more time with this nice person and her Pokemon was truly what Arietta wanted.
"I.. I wanna." she said, nodding her head somewhat dramatically. She blushed a little bit again, feeling silly for her childish turn of phrase.. but it was a feeling she decided to just embrace. For now.. maybe she could just be that lost kid helped out by a nice lady. Whatever.
"I was real hungry! Do you have enough for me?" she said, not even really noting where the food was as she glanced this way and that.

Summer smiled. There wasn't much to be said at this point considering that the girl's response was a rather odd one. Knowing little of the girl's background, every response that slipped from the girl's mouth was odd, but this was one was particularly odd; for she had never known someone to invite another person to a picnic without having enough food to feed them both. Maybe this was something that they did in the region that the girl hailed from, but for Summer, she was taught to never extend an invitation if she couldn't follow through. It was practically against the law for her to do so. Reaching back to take the girl by the hand she offered her another smile, while tugging the girl playfully beside her.
"Of course, I do. I was told to never write a check with my mouth that I couldn't cash with my ass."
An awkward saying really but it was true. She was never allowed to say things that she couldn't back up. But that was beside the point since she had already made it halfway through the clearing while clutching the girl with one arm and Titania's small fingers with the other. The small digits would slip from her fingers every now and then but this was only because the little brute kept bouncing in the air in order to hold her partner's hand. Summer would laugh at this, but continued to move through until they reached the clearing.
Letting go of Arietta's hand she placed the backpack to her side and began reaching inside pulling out two small bento boxes. Opening them she allowed for their contents to be seen: rice balls, steak chunks, and a handful of vegetables to top it all off. Taking one more reach into her backpack she pulled out two small slices of cake, both were originally meant for her but she didn't mind sharing. Handing on to Arietta she offered a smile.
"I hope you enjoy it...I made it this morning."
In any normal situation, Summer would oppose eating with her Pokemon only because she never really ate out in a field and she knew her Pokemon were bound to get into mischief, but today things were different. They were out in an open field which provided a large room for stretching and moving around. Sighing, she grabbed hold of the three Poke Balls and released the Pokemon that were inside. Robin was the first to break free into a sprint, the Umbreon taking little notice of Arietta before she was always unseen by Summer. Oberon appeared next, the Fairy-type instantly rushing to Titania's side desperately trying to attract her attention. Lysander was the last, the Grass-type lied on the ground below looking up at the sky and soon drifting into a slumber.
Summer sighed at this. Sometimes, her Pokemon were rather boring.
