It was actually kind of annoying, but the blonde had FINALLY managed to find a time during the day that it WASN'T storming like crazy. The storms were finally beginning to die down, Josh had noticed. Had Lugia's influence finally started to relax? Had it just returned to his home, maybe? He wasn't sure. He felt guilty for being part of the cause of these storms, but he couldn't, wouldn't dare tell Izumi. He knew that she'd never forgive him for being part of the cause of her torment. It would hurt her.
The blonde let out a sigh as he walked toward the ruins. This time, he had decided that he and Izumi should go together. Might as well get there soon as possible and be in before the storms come up again. The blonde looked over at Izumi and smiled a bit, his thoughts... Still on what they had talked about back on their date.

Was it just her, or was the freak weather changes slowing down…? Either way, the raven-haired Trainer could only sigh—since her companion had decided to drag her along so early out of the comfy bed that she’d taken to hiding in as of late. “C’mon, man, must we go so early in the morning…?” she began with a huge yawn, before stretching her arms skywards and stamping on the damp ground a few times. She could still pick up on the scent of rain, but it wasn’t as damp or as suffocating as it was the past few weeks.
Hell, the past few weeks had been nothing but utter, pure torture for her—what with the lightning strikes going around all over the region; it had pretty much frayed all her nerves (and her patience) to the breaking point. Now that the news channels were now reporting signs of clearing weather coming in the next few days, she could finally go to sleep without having to worry about something suddenly striking her in the middle of the night and zapping her to death.
She then looked up from her sleepy state and recognized where he’d hauled her off to—the Ruins. What had caused him to suddenly take the lead, anyway? “Urgh… without eating breakfast even…” she groaned as she heard her stomach rumble, before stumbling along sleepily behind him.

"Well, Izumi. We have two choices" Josh spoke, looking back at the raven haired Trainer. "We can... Either go today, early in the morning, when the storms were rather low and we had a good chance of getting here without getting soaked and you screaming like crazy from thunder and lightning.... Orrrrrr... We could have gone later while it was raining like crazy, there's thunder and lightning everywhere, and you're screaming your head off every minute or so. So... What would you prefer? We can turn around and go home, if you want. Y'know, come back when the weathers worse" Josh would remark toward her, letting out a yawn of his own. He didn't wanna get up early either, but he'd spent all night trying to tell the right weather patterns for today on the weather channel just to take care of Izumi. He had the right to get a little snappy when she complained about it. This was the best storm-free time all WEEK!
"Speaking of leaving..." Josh remarked as he noted the statue of a Sableye with a giant jewel in his arms. But it wasn't just that, there was a mega stone there! He grinned and picked it up. "Yeah, we can leave whenever you want" He remarked with a chuckle.

The raven-haired Trainer could only roll her eyes in his direction—why was he being less sassy and just way more spiteful these past few days? She then calmly flipped a bird in his face, as if telling him to can it—before groaning at his sudden burst of luck. “Oh, great… the signs usually tell me that whenever you find a marble, I usually end up getting nothing but shit…” she hissed, and true enough, just as they were exiting out of the room, her foot had caught on something that looked like… a Fire Stone.
“See? See what happens?” she continued to mutter, before shaking her head and then taking off at a rather rushed pace—there was no way she was going to allow herself to get all the bad luck this time around! She then continued to hiss in her second language—the better for him not to understand what she was saying—it was mostly colorful profanities aimed at the general direction of her lack of luck these past few days.
Nothing but junk, junk, junk! Come on! I don’t want to get junk this time around! I’m looking for something shiny! Give me something shiny! She thought with a frantic look on her face as she cut a right turn before diving into the nearest doorway and searching through what it contained.
