After the rather surprising find he’d showed his boss a few days back, Darren had decided to come back for more; still accompanied by his boss’ Abra, Casey. Of course, the weather was still going crazy as of the moment—who knew that the freak occurrence wouldn’t let up; and it was raining rather hard when they two had materialized near the entrance to the Ruins.
Feeling the pitter-patter of the raindrops all over his body, the purple-haired assistant then quickly unfurled the umbrella he was holding and shielded himself from the massive downpour—he didn’t want to get sick, not while his boss was holding the fort down in Tyntill for the moment.
“C’me o’ Cas’y! We got’a ge’ t’ dry lan’!” he shouted, making a mad dash across the slippery, hilly road. He shot by tents that looked like they were ready to collapse from under the weight of having too much water poured on them, and noticed that the Abra was still floating in mid-air, keeping up with him…even while he was asleep!
Several slippery minutes later, the purple-haired assistant had finally managed to dive into an entrance that was sticking out on one side of the encampment; and was now busy trying to dry out his wet hai as well as the umbrella. The accompanying Abra was still floating above the ground; even while it was apparently asleep—how could such a small ‘mon know where its companion was going, even without opening its eyes?

It didn’t take too long for Darren and his companion to finally throw themselves into the silence of the Ruins (and consequently out of the pouring rain that was now pounding down in sheets outside) and begin to search. He could only guess as to why the weather kept on going off like an alarm; but every time he’d try to ask his boss about what was going on, he would only get a blank stare before watching Kouji bustle back to work.
He knew as much as his boss that he was also rather worried for the Ranch out in Bayonada (which was still under a state of emergency); he then realized that his own workshop was at risk; why didn’t he evacuate most of his things out to the Dome where his boss had relocated in the meantime? “Ugh, tha’ wa’ stup’d,” he groaned, looking sideways at the accompanying Abra that was floating right behind him, before watching as it slowly levitated ahead, still floating a few inches off the ground without any obvious assistance.
“A’igh’, a’igh’, wai’ for m’,” he muttered, following the floating Psychic-type down the corridor and out of sight, hoping that they’d be at least able to find something that was of value that he could bring back and show to his boss once they’d let the stormy weather pass through the place.
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found RARE BONE! A bone that is extremely valuable for Pokémon archeology. It can be sold for a high price to shops.

The small Psychic-type then continued to hover slightly ahead of the assistant that was struggling to keep up with how…fast he was moving, considering that the Abra was just floating in mid-air and just going ‘by instinct’. “Cas’y! Cas’y, wai’ f’ me!” he began to blurt out, scrambling over fallen rubble and overturned junk that had been scattered in what appeared to be absolute haste. He could only frown as he saw the mess that had been caused before his arrival, and only sigh afterwards.
“A’igh’, a’igh’, calm d’wn, Cas’y,” he continued, finally managing to catch up with the Psi ‘mon several minutes later as it drifted down a very long hallway and was just floating over the stone floor; blissfully unaware. “Ugh,” Darren groaned, seeing that the corridor where the Abra was currently floating down in had a lot of suspicious-looking tiles that obviously screamed ‘trap’ no matter how he looked at it.
Sighing once again, he then began to traverse the corridor very slowly; avoiding as many of the rigged tiles as possible—just in case he got caught in something very nasty.

It had taken a while for Darren to skirt past the long corridor that had so many obvious tiles that didn’t blend in with the rest of the décor, the Abra who was waiting for him at the very end of the corridor had very nearly fallen asleep while waiting for him to catch up. “Sorry, Ca’ey, I took a whi’,” he got out, bending over double at the overturned rubble in order to catch his breath. The Abra continued to scrutinize his companion out of the corner of one of his squinty eyes, before sighing and then pointing to a room that he’d noticed—that had something looming in the darkness just beyond his current field of vision.
“Hm?” the assistant got out, finally standing up once more and taking one last deep breath in order to steady himself as he brushed the bangs out of his hair before squinting into the darkness, “Wha’s th’ matt’r?” he added in the Abra’s direction—who still held one hand out in a pointing gesture, before nodding in his direction. “So… y’ wan’ m’ to check ou’ th’ place a’ the’e?” he inquired, before getting a more vigorous nod, that then eventually led him to just chuckle and square his shoulder. “B’ righ’ b’ck,” he muttered as he then ventured into the room. Several moments later, he re-emerged, rolling a marble between his fingers—it felt icy-cool to the touch.
“Hmm, ni’ rock,” he muttered, making a mental note to contact his boss about it once he’d gotten out of the place.
