Olivia pulled her wet hair from her face and pulled it behind her ear. Even in a pony tail, her hair was wet and wild mess that whipped around her face as the wind bore down on her. "Get those damned ice walls up!" Olivia ordered to an Aqua grunt. Her voice stern and strict, reflecting that of a natural leader, as it should be. The Leader of Team Aqua and current Head of the Crisis Unit, Olivia was doing everything in her power to get the city of Bayonada on its feet. Her grunts were doing their best to control the flooding and offer support to the citizens of the city in any way they could.
As she wiped the water from her face, Olivia continued froward to check the barricades set up on the western front of the city to help block the crashing waves that were assaulting the city. The smell of the sea hit her when she got closer to the large ice walls that had been created over the past few days, and while that salty scent might have once been a pleasurable one, for now she found it irritating. It meant that sea water was still getting pass and was most likely creating a slush like stream of melted ice and sea water, a tragedy waiting to happen. Pulling out her phone, Olivia quickly sent out a mass message to all available grunts to come to the sector she was in and work on repairing their frozen barricade.
While she waited, Olivia decided to check on the status of her current home, Isle de Arnté. She had left it a little over a fortnight ago and had planned to be there by now, but with this storm, she couldn't leave the coastal city. For now, she had a reserve team at Polar Point helping out the citizens there with the nasty blizzards that were flaring up due to the crazy weather patterns. The Aqua Mistress only hoped she could save her people, and apparently, these people too.
Were any grunt or citizen to look over at her now, they'd see her furiously texting away on her Pokenav+, her hair wet and hanging down and brow furrowed.

The chaos in Bayonada was not noticed by just those who lived in the town, nor was it only noticed by those hoping to get a boat from it's shores. Nay, it was notice by the piecing eye of a certain masked villain by name of End. A face that had yet to make a true name for himself in Hoenn, but recognized in Kalos, he had seen the storms as an omen of worse events to come. You see, in his experience, storms like this did not just happen out of the blue, not on this level, and not for this long. Bayonada was a town built to deal with storms, so to have something that could overcome it was unnatural, eerily so. End could not quite place it, but something was wrong, and he would get to the bottom of it. If his suspicions on the truth behind these events was correct, the sooner he could figure it all out, the better.
For now however, there was a grander matter at hand.
"Galahad, take us down!" Even amongst the howling winds of the storm and the stining rain that fell from the blackened heavens above, a strong beating of wings sounded above the city, a black dragonite landing atop one of the higher rooftops as his trainer climbed off, his mask and water retardent cape alike shielding him from the majority of the hazardous effects, the black clothe whipping around his shoulders. "Black knights! Assemble!" A ring of red flashes surrounded him, and soon not only did he hold the presence of his black Dragonite, but a black Lucario, Sceptile, and Infernape, accompanied by an average Golurk and Kadabra. "We have a job here today, greater than any average criminal. The effects of this storm are most terrifying on this innocent town, so here we stand!"
Smiling beneath his mask, his somewhat dramatic introduction to their enviroment delivered to his pokemon, he moved on swiftly. They needed to act fast. The sooner they held back the weather, the sooner the citizens of this town could relax without fear of their homes being flooded by the enraged sea.
"Lancelot! Gareth!" He caught the attention of the Golurk and Lucario, directing their eyes to the ice wall that had been forming around the fishing village. "Aid the flood protection. I want you both to focus on laying a rock slide at the walls base. It will provide insulation to keep it frozen and provide a second layer against any leaks!" The two pokemon were quick to obey, the Lucario hopping aboard the Golurk as he flew along the edge of the city, both pokemon using the power of their moves to re-inforce the base of the forming ice walls, while also being sure not to lay so many rocks as to create a messy clean up later.
"Tristan!" The sceptile was the one to perk up this time. "Lay leech seeds in the rocks, it will reinforce them with it's roots and absorb any leaks." He gave a quick nod, and soont he sceptile was off rushing along the edge of the city. With only three pokemon left to command, Mao gave them all in one swift blow. "Galahad! The boats out at sea will be lost in the storm. Look for those who have managed to remain on their ships and bring them to shore!" The Dragonite flew off the moment his order was given. "Lamorak! Head to the nearest collection of people and turn on your heatwave, low power. We won't to reduce the risk of this storm causing people to become ill." Clearly somewhat annoyed by the lesser task, the Infernape moved anyway, he knew his role and he played it. "And finally, Merlin, you're with me. I need back up should any issues arise." The Kadabra gave a quick nod, turning to his trainer's side as the rain coninued to beat down and bounce off his helmet in droplets. He was forever thankful he could still see through his visor, though a quick surveyal of the town made him wish he was blind to what was going on around him.
"So...You're why we have the ice walls." Dropping from the roof he had stood upon, End landed beside the brown haired woman who was texting away on her pokenav, looking out over her blackened pokemon who were currently reinforcing the wall up and down with the speed of a flying Golurk. "I must say. I had doubts when I first saw you lot back in Hoenn...but you do make quite the efficient team."
It was as if someone had turned on an enormous fan, and instead of hearing the chopping of the air flow that passed between the blades, Olivia listened to a horribly written script for a children's superhero show. In a flash of red light, followed along with a corny catch phrase, the Mistress of Aqua watched as some black clad man and his similarly colored pokemon appeared on top of a roof and... Well, she was not entirely sure what they were doing. Until the masked freak began giving out orders quicker than it took for one of the new grunts to make a stupid water pun.
The brunette woman watched as the man's giant statue and Lucario went to work with reinforcing the frozen walls her team had put so much work into. Olivia kept an eye on them as they lay down large rocks down and appreciated the task. Arceus knows she did not have the time or resources to do a double wall such as that. Her appreciation soon disappeared as the masked man let loose another flurry of orders, orders which directly went against efforts that had just been made. The overgrown green gecko went to work at planting leech seeds into the rocks and Olivia could only stare in disgust as the small thin roots began to penetrate the rocks, slowly breaking them apart.
If that wasn't bad enough, he had his giant fire monkey go out into the city to start blasting people with heat. Not only would his pokemon be a liability and potentially harm the citizens, but its damn flames would melt the ice even quicker. Even the sentiment of having the black beast flying around to try and help those lost at sea fell on flat ears. Did this man really think Olivia had not gotten the sea starved citizens back? She was the Leader of Team Aqua. Aqua, as in water. Her first priority was helping everyone back to shore. Besides, a giant black dragon flying at you from above while you're starved, dehydrated, and most likely delusional was the last thing you would want to see. At the very least, this stranger could have sent his psychic to teleport people.
Then the freak approached, and Olivia could practically feel the smugness coming from him. As he spoke, Olivia heard a cracking noise to the left of her, and just as he finished, making some comment about how efficient she was, the rock and seed wall he had set up splintered and came crashing onto her ice wall, demolishing it. The look that came from Olivia's face to this stranger was one that could cured ham with how salty she was. Flicking her wrist, she released Calypso her Azumarill and held up a finger towards the man to silence him. Gritting her teeth, desperately tryinto to calm herself from screaming due to the amount of stress she was under, Olivia said with an unnatural calmness, "Fix that... mess." Calypso nodded, eyeing the weird man before heading off towards the broken wall, ready to use ice beam to repair it.
With her pokemon gone, Olivia turned on the man, and her eyebrow twitched before she went off, "Who the hell are you and what in the world do you think you're doing?! I don't know what kind of vigilante shit you're trying to pull, but in disasters like this, there are orders and rules you must follow to. One of which is going through the Head of the Disaster Squad, which happens to be me, before you pull any shit like that. I want your pokemon back here now, saving for the Lucario and Golurk. The gecko, flaming monkey, and fucking black dragon need to be either in pokeballs or with you immediately unless you want to face a civil lawsuit by interfering and obstructing the city's disaster clean up."

Through the purple visor of his mask, Mao stared in disgust at the brunette before him. Every good thing he had thought about this head of aqua was instantly retracted. Everything Josh had said about her was true. A person only out for her own goals who was quick to try and take charge the moment someone-...with a slight, mental sigh, he restrained himself. This was a high stress situation they were both in the middle of, and he refused to let that get the better of him. Olivia was in doing good work, and it was justified that she'd think this masked man was ruining the work she had put in. He could perhaps not rebute all the mental complaints she had, but the writer certainly could. Afterall, all but perhaps the complaint about the dragonite seemed somewhat unjutified.
For one, the leech seed was under the Sceptile's control. It was not a natural plant. If he wanted it to break the rocks, it would, but he commanded his spawned roots to wrap around and bine the rocks rather than break them apart. Even if nature were to be taken into account, the current weather conditions would promte the vines to grow around the rocks, especcialy when there ws no moisture within the rocks themselves.
The infernape Mao had commanded to do work was also hardly being a detriment to the greater whole of what was going on here. He was indoors, far away from the ice wall, heating those soaked by the rain with a "gentle" display of heat wave. He was a living radiator as far as those affected by him were concerned, and was certainly out of any danger zone.
Nevertheless, Mao would bow his head in apology, raising a hand to the base of his mask, placing two specific points that would allow him to let out a very fine whistle, one barely detectable by any humans in the storm, but one his pokemon would hear fine. A raised hand to his flying Golruk indicated they were to go about what they were doing, but the rest of his pokemon moved to his side, the Infernape seeming rather irritated that he was to be given a meanial task in comparison to the others only to be called straigth back. The sceptile was hardly complaining, he had done a majority of his job, and the Dragonite landed with a thud behind him, naturally enraged, as that was the only emotion he seemed to have..admittedly it was best he wasn't out there scaring people on the sea.
With a spread of his arms, his cloak draped behind him as he gave a submissive bow, he essentially gestured to the pokemon surrounding him. "They are at you're disposal ma'am." His tone was calm and apologetic. He would not give a direct apology, seeing as he believed his efforts were mostly justified. Still, he wanted to make a somewhat good impression, and as he had stated to himself before, this was a high stress situation, it was understandable that the woman would have such a harsh reaction to his efforts if she did not understand them.
"If it is of any aid to you, my Infernape is also proficient in rock slide, though I would much appreciate it if you turn him back to his old task of warming those soaked by the rain. I of course would aim him far from the ice wall you created." His head rose, hoping to speak more as an equal now that his apology was over. "Truly and honestly. If you are in charge as you say you are, my pokemon are all at your disposal."
The storm was quite wild one, not that it really was stopping Abel from going around the city. He ran from street to street, searching for citizens needing help, but the seemed to be empty aside from the locations where people had headed to safety.
Soaked from head to toe, Abel continued searching, feeling frustrated that he's being completely useless at the moment. Cursing this fact he started thinking how could he help most efficiently. "Wait a sec. I remember some people talking about some Team Acu or something." he talked to himself in realization and stopped running, thinking through what the people had mentioned. After a while of thinking he remembered that the Team Acu-something was being lead by a woman with brown hair, so he decided to search for this leader and ask if he could help in any way. But where he should head now was the next problem. Abel looked around for any kind sign of people with no success, but then suddenly saw a black Dragonite flying away from the shore. Abel followed it with his gaze for a while and wondered where was it heading. Maybe it was heading towards where the leader of Team Acu was. The possibility was low, but Abel didn't really have anything else right now, so he decided to follow the Dragonite.
Running through the street, making sudden turns, climbing over fences and walls, Abel did quite well keeping up with the Dragon pokemon, but then lost it as it seemed to have started landing. Only one 2 meter high wall standing in front of him, Abel made a quick sprint and jumped at the wall. He grabbed the edge of the wall and pulled himself up easily. As he jumped down to the other side of the wall he saw the black Dragonite accompanying quite an impressive group. A man in black clothing and a mask who looked quite cool, a Kadabra, a black colored Infernape and Sceptile with a huge wall of ice in the background. The group all and all seemed really cool in Abel's eyes, like a team of heroes. After he was done admiring the group, Abel spotted a brown haired woman, who seemed to be quite pissed of at the masked man. She gave off a real "aura" of a boss or leader, so he started running straight towards her. "Ooi! Do you happen to be the leader of Team Acu? I'd like to help in anyway I can." he called out to the woman while waving his hand.
They were looking at one of the worst disasters anyone had seen in the last decade.
It was with much reluctance that she allowed herself to be teleport'd into the city, as he own area of Clearwater was going to need her. The situation here, however, clearly deserved the attention; she exited the Pokemon Center and went wide-eyed at the sight of the storm that had absorbed the city like the ravenous beast it was. Wherever this came from - whatever and whoever caused this - would have to pay. She retied her ponytail and demanded from the nearest official who was in charge. She was given a direction and followed it, releasing her Empoleon along the way to help brace herself for the journey over. The winds seemed too harsh to truly manage as it was, and Calypso used one of her wings to help steady the gym leader on the journey over.
Another official directed her to the woman with brown hair and Ferris stepped up to another side, standing tall with her Pokemon behind her and withdrawing her league identification licence. "Ferris, Clearwater Gym Leader. I'm here to help. What do we need to do?"
From doe shaped eyes she watched from a distance as all of Bayonada fell into chaos. The dark paints that colored the sky only served to whip the citizens into a frenzy. White particles created flushed waves that blinded the eyes of anyone that looked to closely, all the while hues of pure blue made up the vast ocean that seemingly held no boundary as its influence and presence stretched well beyond any eye could see. Men and women dressed in garbs of blue scurried back and forth across the city each one leveling with the citizens and demanding their leave, with some escorting others, and the small few tending to the ice wall that was currently being reinforced by a handful of powerful Pokemon. The latter of which were taking orders from a brown haired woman, who was now preoccupied with a mask man full of very, powerful Pokemon. Summer had only seen these Pokemon in her studies so this only served to add to her curiosity as she inched towards the scene.
Arms placed at her side, grey and black padded the young girl's body as her long dress and sunhat became victim to the torrent of wind. Fingers cupping the thread from her backpack, Summer's jaw dropped; her sigh stemming from the the ongoing scene that only served to worsen once the masked man's crew came into play. Arguments brewed between the opposing leaders and their respective teams. The only sign of sanity was the young boy that was standing in the middle of the war-zone, she couldn't hear much of what was being said, but there was denying that at this point she would be wrong to not offer her assistance. Another woman approached the scene, with a Pokemon that appeared as gracefully as she did. Though, this wasn't exactly the best time for admiration, Summer couldn't help but mentally praise the girl for raising such a beauty.
What the hell is going on?, her mental note went unheard as she was now within arms reach of the three trainers. Titania stood faithfully at her side, her small eyes darting to take in the appearance of each trainer as she curiously awaited her own trainer's instruction. Bending down, Summer scooped the small fairy Pokemon in her hands before she spoke.
A quick breathe being drawn in between now and then.
"Um..I hate to interrupt, but is there any way I can help?"
Many people couldn't stand to be asked such a silly question but even those who seemed to have everything handled still needed a little assistance. She was scared here and rarely was that ever the case when coming in contact with her fellow trainers, but there was something about this situation that mentally brought her to her knees. Though the man in the mask troubled her, she was more concerned with the flood that was slowly starting to seep through the barrier of ice that the girl's Pokemon had made; for but a split second she thought of calling upon the assistance of Titania and Oberon but she quickly shook of the thought since, with all things considered, they carried a moveset that may or may not be suited for the situation. Her former experiences taught her that she may be better suited for helping escort people out of the city. Regardless, should she be needed fr something other than escorting citizens she would do her best to accomplish such a feat.
Grabbing hold of her Poke Balls she awaited whatever orders that were placed upon her. Though her only fully evolved Pokemon was Umbreon she figured her other Pokemon could serve some purpose, but for now she gripped the fabrics of her backpack and prayed that the madness would soon dull.

Thankfully, for Olivia had no idea how sour the situation would have gone otherwise, the masked man put up his team of night colored pest. She offered him a small smile along with a sigh, saying, "Thank you. Now, if you wish to help, keep an eye on your Lucario and Golurk. I would recommend keeping your other pokemon away, but if you must have the dragon out for transportation, have it do a perimeter check around the city and make sure the blockades still stand. Find me afterwards, or have one of my members call me, and I'll have an Aqua with you to help repair them." With her orders given, and not wanting deal with this man's vigilante crap anymore, Olivia's focused turned to the kid approaching her.
A small faint smile formed on her lips at his question. Did she lead Team Acu? It nearly sounded like the lad was sneezing. Olivia nodded in reply to his request to help, saying, "Yes, you can help. What type of pokemon do you have? Or do you have any particular skills?" Before he could answer, however, two more people approached, one of which Olivia knew by reputation only. Gwyneth Ferris, Gym Leader of Clearwater and Steel type specialist.
A curt nod was the Aqua Leader's response to her greeting, along with her saying, "Olivia, Leader of Team Aqua. I'm glad to have you and your pokemon here. If you can, have your Empoleon inspect the ice walls that are up around the city. I know you're also a steel specialist, correct? If you could figure out a way to make sure the pipes don't burst I would appreciate it. Arceus knows we don't need contaminated drinking water right now."
As she spoke, the other person asked if she could help, and again, Olivia gave her approval with a single nod of her head. "What kind of pokemon do you have available and do you have any skills you would consider useful to this situation?" This may have started off less than optimal, with the Gym Leader's arrival, Olivia felt a little better about the situation.
((301 words // Summer GreyMao Valliere @scottguy @steeltypequeen // on mobile, will make pretty when I have a chance))
Not wanting to cause a fuss, Mao listened to the commands he was given with the intention of complying, no questions asked. He was somewhat annoyed his other pokemon were not put to use, especially after displaying the possible use his Infernape could be put to warming those drenched by the torrential downpour, but now was not the time to argue. Orders were orders, and despite his want to lead a situation like this, today was not the day for that. WIth a bow and an outstretched arm in the most gentlemanly of fashions, he was ready to go. "As you wish, miss Olivia. Thank you for allowing me my Galahad. Knights!"
Rising up and turning his attention back to his pokemon, Mao let out a soft sigh beneath his mask. "We are under team Aqua's command now! Lamorak, Merlin, Tristan, you are to return to your pokeballs. Galahad, you and I shall survey the wall they are building!" The dragon gave his usual annoyed growl, but he cerainly seemed to appreciate the fact he was actually allowed to do something. With flashes of red his pokemon were returned and he mounted the knightly named black demon of the sky, a heavy flap of his wings allowing him to take off.
As he left, Mao's eyes turned back to the collection of trainers, smiling a little just from the mere fact this disaster he had been so suspicious of had created such a focus for trainers and team leaders alike. Even more so he was surprised to spot a face he easily recognized, the Gym leader of the city he used as his playground to practice his "vigilante antics". As such, he had an intense respect for the steel type gym leader, and only hoped that he may get a chance to see her in action during today. Still, he had a job to do. Turning back to the wall he was to survey, he used his dragonite's extreme speed to his advantage, travelling along the length of the wall at a blindingly fast pace the first time to check for any major cracks in the foundation, following the path of his Golurk and Lucario before flying ahead to see what points of the wall would need the most attention.
"Lancelot! Gareth! Accelerate for 900 yards. The wall is fine here but we need some rocks to collect the flooding!" The two pokemon responded swiftly, the jets on the Golurk burning brighter, fizzling with harmless energy that didn't endanger the ice of the flood wall, landing and focusing his rock slide with the Lucario's to create a small embankment of them, water spooling over the ice wall harmlessly collecting in a pool they were maintaining. "We have the barricades...our main issue is drowning in it...if only there was a way to rid ourselves of the water..." Thinking on the problem with no clear solution, Mao ran his hand over the visor of his mask with minor frustration, only brought from his thoughts when he spotted a leak springing in the ice wall. Something that was clearly not for his rocks to handle.
"Galahad, this one's ours. Ice beam on that water spout!" With a slight roar as he was ordered about, as many times before now, he just followed the command, rearing back his head as a light blue sphere formed in his maw, before unleashing the crystalizing ice beam at the crack in the wall, soidifying the structure once more and freazing a part of the leak. "Bring us down." In an instant the black dragon landed beside the wall, Mao hopping off and rushing through the rain to find the nearest agent of Aqua, lightly gripping his shoulder to grab his attention.
"Tell your boss I've been containing most of the overflow with the rock slides, but if she hasn't got one, we need a solution for how to get all of this water out of the town, otherwise the ice walls are gonna turn this into a rain filled swimming pool." With a pat of his shoulder to confirm the aqua agent was doing a good enough job as is, Mao turned back to his dragon, leaping onto it's back and flying off to survey the rest of the wall, hoping Olivia had somehting in mind.
Two other characters seemed to arrive to the scene to help and Abel couldn't help but grin widely. The younger pink haired girl was completely foreign to Abel, but he immediately recognized the other one and her introduction did make who she was clear. Abel was quite impressed by the company he was around, but shook this feeling away and turned at Olivia. Knowing that Birivire the Elekid wouldn't be too helpful in this situation and Baketsu the Aron's fear of water was at it's worst, Abel slammed his fist on his chest. "Unfortunately my pokemon can't help in this situation, but I myself am ready for anything. My physical prowess are above a normal human, so I'm sure you'll find some use for me!" he confidently announced, looking at Olivia with determined eyes. With this Abel was hoping he would be able to convince her that even without pokemon he can be helpful and wouldn't say anything before getting a response.
Olivia could have sworn she had been plucked up right out of her universe by Arceus itself, tossed around in his hands, then slapped into a corny Saturday morning cartoon show. The poor kid was speaking like he had been brainwashed with comic books his whole life, which was not necessarily a bad thing, but when someone starts acting like this, well... Giving the young man a kind smile, Olivia patted him on the back, and said, "How about you go and find my Azumarill? She'll need a strong man like you to make sure some of the wild pokemon don't get to rowdy with her. Besides, I'm sure she can help train with some of your own pokemon." In all honestly, Olivia just wanted the kid safe and didn't trust him to leave if she told him to go. He would probably end up trying to fix something alone, ending up hurt or worse. That was one liability she was not willing to risk. "You can find here over there, okay? Tell her Olivia sent you to help." Olivia added as she pointed in the general direction she had sent her pokemon earlier.
One problem fixed and another popped up, or that was how it had been going, and Olivia could only assume, would continue. Her phone had been buzzing and when she expected some silly remark on the Aqua chat, she instead found a rather urgent looking message from a grunt on the wall, saying something about the leaks becoming overwhelming. A curse escaped her lips as she brought forth a pokeball and released the pokemon inside, revealing a beautiful Milotic. "Actaea, go to the western walls and use the winds to get these waters out." The majestic pokemon flicked her tail in response and was off in a blur of beauty. A few minutes later, she would arrive at the site where the grunt had text Olivia from, and with a clever combination of Twister and her Rain Dance abilities, Actaea would suck the leaking water out and send it over the wall.
Pulling her Pokenav out, Olivia began to redirect some more of the grunts via text. Having this situation under control was the Aqua leader's main focus.

There was a sense of... tension that he was mostly he used to. It was similar to that which he faced in the preparation of a Contest performance, in the slight twinge in the air before a battle, and so on. He was preparing for something big, but he wasn't really sure it would all work to plan. Was he ready? Not necessarily. Was he going to do it anyway? Of course. It was not his safety nor his sake he was worried about. His life was not in danger, and his reputation was neither forfeit nor important. He had to help those people. With a flick of his wrist, his hadn touched the land-line phone, and for a second, hesitated, but began dialing the number.
"Rosenbach Coorporation, how can we help you today?" A tired, monotone voice spoke in answer to the call.
"Lady Montilyet, it is William. Please contact me with my father or mother, forthwith." One could almost hear the snap in the lady's demeanor as the Golden Knight introduced himself. With a quick muttering, she seemed to run, open a door, and hand the phone. Quickly, the Golden Knight's mind was filled with the image of his wide-smiling mother as she spoke into the phone. "Love, you never call with the land-line, what's wrong?" She questioned. She was always perceptive, his mother. He was never able to hide something from her.
"The mobile phone is down, mother. There is a giant storm, and the city of Bayonada needs my help. I am off to lend my aid, but I need you and father to... to... to lend me some money."
There was an audible gasp in the other side of the line. "To help with the reparations that the city will surely need, mother! That is why I need of your money! No reason more!" The Golden Knight quickly attempted to clarify.
"Oh, darling, you can count on us, have all the money you need, do they need new streetlights? We can get them a new model, and I'm sure they could do with a few more skyscrapers, and why not visit with a few new stores, and..." His mother ranted on. The Golden Knight quickly excused himself out of the conversation. He was glad his parents were always willing to support him monetarily, and while this might be only a flexing of their economic muscle, it was still relieving. Not that he enjoyed asking for money. Ever.
Clasping on the last bits of his armor, making sure he had everything he needed, he stepped out, into the night's storm.
--------------
"Hear me, O' my dearest friends! Hear me, O' Wailords! Hear me and tend to my call!" He called out. He had had his Pokemon go out into the sea, gather the Wailords from the Sanctuary and form them up near the coast, where he was on his own Wailord. The Golden Wailord seemed somewhat happy that all the Wailords of the Sanctuary had come. Even from the broken and treacherous sea, the whales bobbed in the sea, impossibly large, a sea of blue on grey waves. The storm did little to actually bother the whales. They were too large for even the violent wind and the harsh waters to move them, to torment them.
"As we stand, our friends in Bayonada are unable to hold their ground. This, our Sanctuary, with the effort of friendship made, was built to withstand the lash and ire of the sea, and whatever is causing this terrible salvo of raindrops and gales. We can hold on, but the people of Bayonadaville cannot. I must help them: I am one of them, and they are our friends. We cannot let innocents suffer in the wash of this calamity. We must march outward and face the storm face-on, to scream and yell in defiance of misfortune and misdeed and deny it. I will do so, because I know I must - it is the right thing to do, it is the just and fair and honorable thing to do." The Golden Knight spoke, his voice already becoming hoarse with the effort of screaming to all these whales, over the wind and storm. Even with the loudspeakers of the Sanctuary, it was a workload on his voice. While William's Pokemon looked at him with adoration and understanding, the whales were still somewhat confused as to why their good friend and caretaker was telling them this.
"I cannot protect Bayonada alone, friends! I need your might, your glory, I need your aid! Come, Wailords, and be like a shield, a bastion of iron will to protect the meek. Do it, if not for them, who have welcomed us with open arms, and if not for me, who will risk tooth and nail to protect us all, if not for us, do it for friendship! Do it because I believe in you, as you have believed in me! Ba'ul, Jormungandr, Oceanus... My friends ride with me, Golden Whale and Golden Knight, a squadron of friendship. But a Knight cannot scream down the storm. Will you come with me? Will you be our allies? I beg of you, Wailords, for one favor in your time in this, our Sanctuary of Friendship."
And as William's voice faded, his speech done, the air was filled with the resounding, deafening blast of the Wailords, countless Float Whale Pokemon, letting their voices, in unison, scream "WAIIIIIIILORD!", some of them loosing Water Spouts into the air, the feeling of exuberance thick glorious, a bravado that did not wear off. They parted, and with a wild smile, the Golden Knight simply tapped Ba'ul, his golden Wailord. The Float Whale Pokemon quickly began plowing forward, through the given path by his kin, and led the armada. Like a wall of blue, bobbing in the waves, the whales behind him sailed, unbroken, immeasurable. The Golden Knight screamed an exhilarated yell into the stormy sky, unable to really hold in the sheer feeling that coursed through him.
-------------------------
From the east, the citizens of Bayonada, escaping the storm's wake, could see gold in the water. Was it that whale boy? They knew him well, but what could he do to... Oh, my.
It was visible, to all who stood to help Bayonada, to the suffering people, to everyone. Many stood there, flabbergasted, unable to really understand the visage that they saw. Oen of them screamed "From the east... it's a golden whale! It's ALL THE WHALES!"
Ba'ul carried William on him, the Golden Knight's armor glistening with storm water and his smile wide and wild. His eyes were brilliant gold, filled with an energy he often forgot. But behind him... Behind the golden duo, a wall of Wailords floated, moving towards the city, an impressivle and massive sheer force, rising from the surface of the roiling sea. AS they approached the coast, William yelled out once again. "Now, Wailords! Form like a Wall against the storm! Let nothing break you, for you are among friends, and we will not let you fall!" With this command, Ba'ul let out a mighty roar, filling the air and drowning out the noise. The Whales responded in kind, filling the air with their own mighty noise. And they formed.
Lined up next to each other, like soldiers in formation, they aligned themselves like a storm wall, a ring of Wailords surrounding the coast. Imperative, unbreaking, the whale wall seemed unflinching in the storm wind and the waves that lashed at them. When one would tire, the others would help, keeping him afloat and giving murmuring encouragement. They formed and formed, until they formed a giant wall, a ring around the whole of the city's port and beach. Their efforts might not stop the storm, nor repair any current damage, but their presence broke the waves and slowed the wind, reducing the damage that the storm would cause to the city in the future. Waves diminished. The water was slowed. William's own Wailord carried him all the way to coast, but where he expected coast, he found water. To be expected, one would think, since the water rose. What surprised him, however, was the ice wall. A sheer wall of ice, perhaps not impregnable, but certainly doing a good job. Allied with his wall of whales, it could perhaps bring even more safety to the city of Bayonada - the ice was much sturdier, now that it wasn't being harassed by wave after wave after wave. The Golden knight gave a pat, and the giant Golden Wailord went to the ice wall, allowing the Golden Knight to drop off on the other side, before going off to join his whale brethern. William smiled - he trusted Ba'ul to lead his kin admirably.
As he fell on the other side, though, he realized he was suddenly faced with a familiar visage. Could it be? No, it couldn't... but it was! The cape flowed perfectly into the helm, and the color of the suit was spot-on. The Pokemon surrounding him were not those he remembered, but he knew very well who this was. His face contorted into surprise for a second, before twisting into happy delight. There was nothing like seeing an old friend again to William. As he landed, the Golden Knight began to approach, open arms and happy smile piercing through the darkening storm, his joyful voice and brilliant eyes notable even through the gloom.
"I cannot believe my eyes - can it be? Sir Sabl- I mean, Sir Saber!" He began, quickly correcting himself. He knew that Sable disliked being referred to by his real name when he was wearing the suit. "What a happy coincidence to see you here, albeit in such dire circumstances! 'Tis an honor to be with you again, friend. Are you here to aid the City of Bayonada, as I am? As you can see, I have led my Wailords to form a storm wall against the injustice of this storm." He explained, approaching as he did, offering a firm handshake. This was exuberant, ravishingly glorious. What a most happy day, to be meeting his old friend again!
NOTES
Friendship Style - Ultimate Technique: Golden Whale Wall of Sanctity, Flying Fortress Whale no Jutsu!
Among the people and pokemons gathering near the beach, one particular Pokemon seemed uneasy. A female Seel trotted along the beach and up and down near the swarm of Wailord, as if searching for something. Bitten on her jaws was a sheet of water-proof paper with some writings on it.
The writings read:
To whomever had parked the wall of Wailords. Make way! We are towing a cruiser to the shore. Requesting a passage east. 47 degrees, Thirty-and-two. Est. ToA in under ten minutes.”

Nash
It seemed that someone could not get in the harbor because of the wall. The Seel swam up and down, searching for a particular golden knight.
+++++
Meanwhile, Nash stood on the prow of a cruiser, braving the heavy rain and soul-ripping winds that bombarded the sea. This particular vessel had not been able to dock for a whole day, and they could barely defend themselves against the raging waves. As the Water Gym Leader, naturally Nash was the first one the citizens came to ask help. He had did his best to help ever since the first rain, to rescue and to fortify the town coastal defense. It was before the Aqua showed up. With the coming of the helpful Team, Nash gladly left the city’s preparation to them, and focused instead on search-and-rescue mission. The sea had been very rough these past days, and even Nash was slightly overwhelmed. But he would not allow any people or Pokemon to help in the search-and-rescue mission in open seas unless they were qualified enough, and even then they must always be properly tagged and written to help tracking them. With the Mother Sea this angry, Nash and the City Council could not take risks losing more people.
But smart Nash did not operate on blind rescue alone. As the search team returned last night, Nash went to the harbormaster and request to see which boats were scheduled to arrive or leave in the near months. That was when he realized a particular cruiser was missing its schedule. A sea-worthy vessel from Kanto, it was captained by a seasoned Captain. Thus it being unable to dock must mean they were barraged beyond belief. Nash set off that night, bringing provisions as much as his Swampert Shan could carry.
As of now, the Pokemon was towing the cruiser to Bayonadaville. The strong Pokemon had grabbed the anchor chains on both sides of the cruiser and pulled the vessel by them forward. By that way he and Nash had hoped they could maintain the cruiser’s balance and prevent it to be toppled over by waves. It was wondrous to be able to hold such big chains, let alone pulling it, but Shan was able to do some miraculous things indeed.
Nash leaned over the rail. “You okay there, Shan?” he shouted, looking into the raging waves below.
A growl was heard as an answer.
Nash leaned lower, “And how about you, Ananda?”
This time two voices were heard. The first growl, annoyed, and another chirp that was buried by the waves. Nash’s youngest Pokemon, the newly hatched Azurill, was on the water, too, bobbling up and down as he kept losing the battle against the waves. Nash had thought this to be a good training, and so had the small Azurill helped by holding two ropes tied to the rails on the prowl. Shan had protested out of fear of the youngster’s safety, but Nash was adamant. Even now he could see the Water Mouse keep disappearing and reappearing, obviously half-drowned himself. He was terribly frightened. Nash could see that.
“Hang in there, Ananda!” He encouraged, pretending to be oblivious, “This is a good training for you!”
Now all that was left was the blue wall miles from them that sure was blocking their access to the City’s harbor. Nash assumed it was made of Wailords. An indigenous tactics, for sure. Perhaps his friend that William had done it? But the wall would certainly impede the cruiser, and Shan, towing the cruiser in a more increasing speed would not be able to maneuver around it. Thus he had sent his Seel in advance with a message to form a break on the Wailord formation.
And once ashore, he would find the other committees about the startling discovery his Frillish had discovered deep in the ocean. The poor Pokemon had returned shivering in fright, and until now had refused to leave her Pokeball.
Whatever it was she had saw, it must have been terrible to behold.
Watching from atop his black dragon, Mao was incredibly pleased by the sight of the Milotic lifting the waters that had been leaking through back over the ice wall they had been working to form. Perhaps the grunt had never mentioned him when he had sent Olivia that text, but he was more than pleased to see the message had at least gotten through. Whatever he could do to help here made him feel just a little bit better, not that he could feel any lower after that foolish woman had gave him a "telling off" for bringing his pokemon to aid both the citizems of this town and the aqua grunts who had been forming the Ice wall.
"Galahad, lower me to the ice wall. I assume you can handle your duties without me?" The dragon gave a slow nod, his typical annoyed expression still ever present as he was forced to follow his trainer's commands, letting him step from his head to the ice wall, before flying off himself to strengthen the wall wherever he could find an issue or a crack.
End in the meantime turned his eyes to the stormy seas that lay before him now, finding his eyes attracted to the supposed source, an island where the thundr and lightning seemed to be more fierce than anything that was hitting bayonada, a truly fearsome, yet also impressive sight. Mao already had his presumptions as to what may be the cause of this odd level of chaos, but the sight of such a clear source of these deadly storms only strengthened his theory. "Seems someone wished to play god..."
His eyes would only be drawn from the storm itself as an odd shade of blue mixed with the waves of the ocean, the near black ocean suddenly parted by a line of bright blue, a mighty array of Wailords seemingly acting as a wall against the storms, the waters instantly becoming far calmer, and putting less pressure on the barricades they had been forming. So much so Lancelot, Mao's Lucario, had made his way back to Mao himself, giving a small bark to grab his attention and alert him that their duties may be done for now. "Good Lancelot. We shall stay for a while, ensure there is nothing else we can-"
Turning to address his pokemon, End's attention was once again caught by something he did not expect. A man dressed in pure gold addressing him. As if this was not odd enough, he was addressed by a seperate name...Saber. There was a moment of silence as the hand was offered to him, Lancelot himself standing on guard, ready to strike the man if he posed a threat to his master. End had the inclination to turn and ignore this man, or even correct him...but the mistaken identity seemed all too familiar. In fact, through the brief silence, an event in his past suddenly made far more sense...the cries of Miss Dressler.
"Ah, my golden knight." End took the hand of his "friend", shaking it firmly with a wide smile beneath his mask. He assumed such a title would be fine considering the get up of the man who had approached him. "Yes you are correct. One could not simply leave this place to suffer could they? My pokemon are currently aiding these Aqua agents in the reinforcements of the ice wall." His mask turned to the wailords out in the ocean, finding no coincidnce that both the wailord wall and the man of gold had arrived at once. "Though you have made far more impressive steps towards aiding them than I ever could."
