It didn’t take too long before the Professor had received a message from one of his more recent visitors; and the contents of that particular message had stated that they were looking for a few Flying-types. Rightfully so, it’s only fair that the expert should be approached regarding the matter… he thought with this uncharacteristically conceited look on his face; before realizing that he had to get to some breeding in order to be able to familiarize himself more with the functions of how the entire process ran. He would normally have the two holed up somewhere (usually in the small patch of grass outside the labs) and just wait for the results—so this time, he was going to be a lot more hands-on in terms of what was going down.
After he’d managed to locate one of his two new Taillows, he could only guess if he’d picked up Noel or Serah—a precursory inspection revealed that he’d grabbed the male. Now that he had the first half of the entire business, he was just about ready to go and grab Yin when he realized that the female bird was most likely off somewhere with her twin brother Yang; and it would be a chore getting them apart. Instead, he opted to go for the female Murkrow—because he knew that there was something about these two avians that was ‘special’. Once he’d managed to assemble the two together in the grassy expanse out behind his labs, he then let the two fly around his head, circling and whizzing like planets.
“Alright… Noel, Edea. Uhhh, this is going to be my first time observing the actual… ‘process’, if you may,” he began in a completely sheepish voice; wondering if his feathered companions could understand a single word he was saying. “So… I’m going to be somewhere in the background… and I’ll be taking notes on mating rituals… so… don’t mind me, just pretend I’m not here, and do your thing, okay?” he continued, giving his two Flying-types a very apologetic look; to which the female Murkrow landed on his shoulder and gave a very loud cawing noise.
“Go on, Edea… Noel, have at it,” he added, rummaging around and pulling out a small notebook before waving a dismissive hand in the two avians’ direction; the better for them to get started…
