Another month had passed, and it was now February; otherwise known as the month of crazy things in pink and all the fluff flying around. To Izumi, however, it was just another passing month of the year, another normal occurrence in everyday life. Shit, that also reminds me; we can return and raid the darned Ruins again! She thought as she then smacked a palm to her forehead as she quickly dialed a certain number; and left a voice message. Hoping that Josh would be able to catch up to her once she’d gotten to the Ruins, she then dressed up as warmly as she could—because even if the air was getting warmer; the weather was still prone to breaking out in random, last-minute bouts and fits of cold, white snow falling from the heavens.
Seeing that the sky was clear out, she decided to go there as fast as she could manage—and after finally calling out her Braviary from his slumber, quickly hitched a ride astride him and both Trainer and ‘mon took off into the sky, the avian squawking out of joy and delight at flying again through the heavens of Nue. Izumi had already tried asking her Gardevoir to memorize the location of the Ruins in order to just Teleport there and get there way ahead of Josh; however there was some strange…weird vibes that had caused her early attempts at Teleporting to the area forcing her to wind up somewhere different completely. That’s out the window, then, she thought to herself as the avian cut a figure through the sky; and she was hanging on for dear life—even if she knew that Sora wasn’t one to toss her unceremoniously from his back.
The flight across the city only took around an hour tops; as compared to walking there and eventually ending up hiking to reach the Ruins; and after the Brav had landed (and was subsequently recalled back to his containment unit to rest) she then took up a spot and waited for her companion to arrive at the Ruins proper.

Josh was more thinking about his birthday, which was in a few days, then anything else. But it was true, with it being February, he was able to go back to the ruins with Izumi to search for more mega stones. And it wasn't long before Izumi had sent him a voice message requesting he meet her at the ruins again. The blonde would smirk as he would whistle for Lightning. "Come on, Lightning! Time to go-a-exploring!" The blonde would call out. "Pika!" Lightning chirped as he would run over and climb onto his shoulder. As for a mount... Josh wasn't sure. He could take Fawkes, or Gawaain. Oh, but he had another idea....
Izumi would later hear and feel the ground rumbling as something, or someone, was coming her way. Looking over, she would see a green Tyrantrum walking over to the ruins, with Josh and Lightning on his back. Josh would laugh and wave, before climbing down. He would pat the Tyrantrum and nod over at it. "Good practice, Yoshi. Return" Josh said as he would return Yoshi to his Pokeball. He would smile over and Izumi and motion her into the ruins as he headed in.

Izumi felt the ground rumbling quite violently and was about to send out her Braviary again in order to escape the incoming ‘earthquake’ when the source of the tremors drew up and made its presence known—it was Josh; and he was astride a red, white, and green-colored gigantic, almost tyrannical, Pokémon that didn’t certainly behaved the way it looked! She then cracked a smirk and watched as he sidled off the huge-ass thing, and quickly recalled the gigantor-sized ‘mon; she could only marvel at how such tiny marbles could hold such colossal creatures in its depths.
“Well, I was just about ready to flip my shit when you came sauntering in,” she remarked with a pointed look on her face; before following him inside the depths of the Ruins.
It didn’t take too long for her traversing to actually run into something—and as her foot stepped down on the round object, she quickly lifted it and backed away, crouching down in order to inspect the thing she was just pretty much about ready to violate. As the muted light filtering in through the broken, holey ceiling shone down on the thing in her hand, she then raised her hands out of apparent distaste and let the round bauble drop from her hands, hearing it clatter and roll away from where she stood.
“It’s like telling me that I’m bound to become a reseller of Key Stones, or something,” she quipped as she continued to walk forward, hoping that Josh would find something interesting and not something…that qualified as absolutely trashy!
Dig Dig Dig . . . What's this?! Congratulations, You've found ARMOR FOSSIL! Your not so average rock. Wait, I think it's a fossil... might wanna double check that.

Josh laughed at Izumi's reaction to his little entrance. "Good" He would tease in response. "You could use a little action in your life"
He would leave her to ponder the meaning behind his tease as the blonde would walk into the ruins, searching and searching for something of interest. He was REALLY hoping he didn't end up with junk again. He really didn't. It had been a back and forth battle with nature and luck to try and find what he was seeking. Deep down, there was something he was looking for, but things like fossils and other Mega Stones he didn't mind at all.
Josh would look over to see that Izumi had found something. Another Keystone. He couldn't help but chuckle. "That keystone is like a bad ex trying to find it's way back into your life" He snarked, before happening to pick up something he noticed at his feet. "Hm? What's this?" He said as he would dust it off. "It looks like a fossil..."

Was this some kind of way of making up the lack of luck that she’d suffered from last month? Izumi thought she’d heard Josh suddenly take a stop and then scoop up something that she’d seemingly passed through; and then turned around in time to see that he was holding up some weirdly-colored rock. She knew that he’d found something; and after scouring her memory for what the brown slab was, she finally remembered one of the articles she’d read while browsing through Professor Symphonia’s research material.
“Ach, you’re crazy, but I know what that’s going to turn into. Just hang on to the Fossil. I presume you already know Professor Symphonia—like duh, you told me about him. Keep that and it’ll turn into a Shieldon after sometime,” she continued; before feeling her foot step on something round.
She then crouched down and then plucked up the thing her foot had encountered—and then walked back to where he was waiting. “Oh, lookie… I got… whoa, really? No way,” she continued, grinning as the light fell on the marble in her hands. “Guess this early trip wasn’t too much of a waste after all,” she remarked with a smirk as she then bumped her elbow against his. “Come on, let’s get outta here, we still have to get some things done… right?” she ended with a wink and a grin on her face.
