It was a few days after Kouji’s narrow escape from the craziness that had chased after him in the Ruins—who knew that the section he was exploring was still rigged with live traps?! At least I’ve gotten something definitely worth all the trouble, he mused to himself as he finished up his preparations—the usual stock of flash lights, sandwiches, water canteens and everything else in between—he’d taken up the habit of carrying around another first-aid kit if in case he ran into some unfortunate accidents. Now that his things were ready, he then proceeded to dress up warmly for the weather—because it was snowing outside right now. Little did he know that the day he was going to go to the Ruins once more, he was going to encounter yet another…nasty surprise, which showed itself in the form of something close to a snow storm!
He then snapped down the goggles that he’d absently perched atop his head before leaving, and was surprised to see that not only did it keep the snow out; it also sort of helped to keep his face warm! As he then plowed through the crazy weather, taking extreme care not to slip and crash onto some thin ice (or even worse, twist a leg or something else) he then started the long, slow plodding trek towards the Ruins—he’d only discovered quite recently that even if he’d asked one of the Psychic-types to memorize the place so that he could just Teleport there in an instant, there was something…rather unusual about the Ruins that had rendered the easy trick almost useless. He could only wonder as to why that was so; and some two hours later he’d finally arrived at the Ruins, and welcomed the musty warmth of the place as he finally dived into one of the open places that offered some protection from the weird weather!
“Alright, time to get going,” he began, cracking his knuckles as he then reached for a flash light, flicked it on, and pulled off the snow goggles—he couldn’t see a damned thing if they were used outside of snow-filled areas, at any rate.
