It had been a while since he’d taken a vacation; so hoping that nobody would mind, he then decided to hop on over to Nimbasa City. Since it took a while getting to the area from Humilau, he then thought of his options… before finally deciding to borrow his oldest brother’s Fearow and taking the one-way trip towards that area instead. He was secretly thankful that he wasn’t on the heavy side; and that he could sit astride the Fearow with relative ease. Once he’d been dropped off in the center of the bustling city, he then looked around… before reaching for his bag and unzipping it; revealing a well-polished camera that was ready to shoot. Said bag had all the other basics inside it—food, money, extra lenses and batteries—so he was now set for a whole day of fun and just simply taking pictures of the entire area. I have to maintain my ‘online site’ too as well… can’t just be stagnant in one area… he thought to himself, quickly taking to the streets and then snapping pictures of the people; of a balloon floating in the sky—of the basic Nimbasa bustling life.
Sure, it may not be as noisy and as large as Castelia, but these people sure know how to have fun, he thought to himself, winding the little circle around his lens so that he could zoom in on particular subjects—a Pidove about to take off from a streetlamp; then shifting down to see that there were some Sewaddle eating at a nearby tree branch. I could get used to this… he thought to himself, snapping more pictures and just… getting lost in the iconic ‘wildlife’ that Nimbasa also housed as well. After a while, though, he then fiddled around with his camera lens once more; and then started looking for interesting people to take ‘stolen shots’ of; because stolen pictures had the best moments captured on them—people laughing, doing crazy things… or whatever else that made them look their best.
Angel Dalton didn't know where she was going. She knew she wanted to go on an adventure. A journey. To see the world and discover whatever it was she wanted to do. However, she really didn't know how to do that. She was a talkative girl and often talked to people in the middle of their own little adventures but that was part of the problem. She always talked to people in the middle of whatever they wanted to do be doing. It was getting to the part where she was in the middle of things that was her issue. How did people just.. start doing things?
Up till now her life had been a pretty boring routine. She never got out as much as she wanted and didn't really have many friends. Yet even when it was finally time for her to go out and try to make it on her own, she found herself doing the same old thing. The same old thing in this case was racing her Vullaby, Wonder Bird. They often raced to the Pokemon Gym, where she would find trainers to talk to before challenging the gym. Although not all liked to talk all the time, she still had managed to get to know a few during the short conversation she had with them. She liked the idea of Pokemon training a lot or working with Pokemon in some way.. but she wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do there either.
There really was too many choices and it was sort of making her head hurt. Even just leaving Nimbasa was kind of confusing.. which way should she go? There was like three entirely different paths she could take.
It was having these sort of thoughts and just in general getting a groove with her racing that made her a little spacy though. Being spacy and taking quick turn shortcuts didn't really mix either, and it was during her third quick dash around a corner she realized she was about to run into an older guy. She turned on the breaks quick though and actually managed to avoid crashing into him.. but it was a pretty close call.
Once she realized she had avoided crashing into him, she gave him sort of a glance while catching her breath. It was there that she noticed he was holding a camera, and quickly became intrigued. "H-hey there! S-Sorry about that, I was racing with my Pokemon and I was taking these super amazing shortcuts and then it was like, 'WATCH OUT!' SCREEECH!" She took a very quick break here, obviously still a little short of breath.. but not long enough for him to get a word in. She was an extremely fast talker and an enthusiastic one too, evident by the energetic performance she made to emulate tires screeching to a quick halt.
"S-so what's your name? My name is Angel. That's a really cool camera wuzzit for?" Again Angel quickly demonstrated her ability to speak fast and jump from one topic to the other. She brushed her hair out of her face at this point and fixed her posture slightly, becoming a little more relaxed after taking so many deep breaths. She seemed pretty interested in the camera, it visibly had the attention of her gaze.
It was at this moment though that her Wonder Bird appeared. Apparently it had seen Angel's shortcut attempts or perhaps knew them by now and followed her as quick as it could. However in doing so it made the same quick turn that Angel had, except this time there was even less room to do so as Angel was still pretty much standing right on the other side. Wonder Bird tried to stop but failed and rammed into Angel's back with a clumsy sort of accidental Tackle attack. Not that it knew Tackle, but Angel got a firsthand experience of what it would be like if it did. "Whoa whoa whoa!" the girl cried as she flailed her arms about wildly, losing her balance quickly and being unable to regain it despite attempts to.. started falling forward. She might still crash into the camera wielding young man yet.
he had been so busy looking through the camera lens, trying to find a subject to take a picture of—he very nearly missed the screeching noise that he heard, and then turned to face the source of said noise; and was secretly thankful that his camera was slung around his neck, because he was surprised to see that there was a younger girl on a bike and the screeching noise came from her sudden, unexpected arrival. Realizing that he was literally towering over her (he shuddered to himself at the mention of his height) he then crouched down so that he was, at the very least, on eye level with the younger girl! “Oh, no worries, at least you were able to stop in time,” he said, brushing a hand off in her direction; as long as they were both fine and unharmed he was cool with it. The subject then turned to his camera, and he also noticed that she was speaking quite fast—the same as one of his older brothers. Thank god I can decipher rapid language… he thought with a grin as he hefted the camera in her direction at first, before shifting around and then taking a picture of a girl who just happened to whizz by on roller blades.
“This,” he began, a sense of pride welling up inside him, “…is my pride and joy. I like taking pictures, so this camera here is one of my trustworthy companions… along with my own Pokemon of course,” he added with a chuckle. He was sorely tempted to ruffle her hair but stopped himself from doing so, because for one thing they’d just met! He then turned it towards her and then looked through the viewfinder, trying to find the perfect angle so that he could take a picture of her zipping around. “I was wondering if I could—“he began, when a familiar-sounding screech made its own appearance, and he very nearly did a double-take, for there was a Vullaby that was coming in… at a dangerously fast speed; and then it bowled into Angel; sending them both falling forward! “Whoa there!” he said, quickly catching his balance and slinging the camera out of the way; feeling it hit his other shoulder as he used both of his free hands to steady the falling girl; if he didn’t act fast they’d end up falling to the pavement together!
Thankfully his quick action helped steady her and he then set her upright; leaning mostly on the bike so that she wouldn’t trip over. “Too close there. Your Vullaby is a cannonball…” he said with a chuckle, before deciding to show her his own Vullaby; and he plucked out a Pokeball from the jacket he was wearing; and sent out its occupant—and the flash of red light formed into the shape of Irina, who then let out a squawk and then shuffled toward the other Vullaby and then began flapping its wings excitedly. “Meet my own Vullaby, I call her Irina,” he said, now watching the two Flying-types interact, feathers flying everywhere. He then decided that this was a good moment, and then swung his camera back around and then started snapping pictures of the interaction of the two birds.
Angel was still fascinated and excited to know more about the camera that he spoke, but first it was time to be thankful for her rescue. Her back still hurt a little, but right now that was probably the least important thing about the situation. At least in her mind. If a Vullaby tackling her was that much of a problem, she would be in trouble.
"Ohmaigawsh, thank you so much sir! You are.. are.. totally epic! T-to the max!" She looked pretty bashful about the situation, but sort of played it off by sticking out her tongue slightly. Her eyes widened at the mention of having a Vullaby himself, having found that many of the people she met hadn't had that much experience with the specific species. She watched him bring it out and then watched the Pokemon and Wonder Bird start to interact. She was just as fascinated at the sight he was, although she was equally fascinated with his behavior too. She quickly tried to crane over his shoulder, and get at a look of what he was seeing. As if somehow seeing the Vullaby's interacting from the vantage point he was at would somehow give away the photographic mind he was working with, the artistry he was going for.
She took a look at Wonder Bird, who seemed to be sizing Irina up for a moment. They didn't seem to be fighting or Wonder Bird didn't seem to be trying to start a fight anyway. Wonder Bird was just competitive and immediately was concerned about the introduction, it seemed to be in her nature. Once she did though they seemed to relax, but it still didn't answer to Angel the question about what it was that this tall guy was seeing.
"That's totally cool though sir, when did you decide you wanted to take pictures and junk? I'm just starting whatever it is I'm doing, except I don't even know what I'm doing. It's really lame."she said, taking a quick breath before continuing. With the emphasis on quick, she really didn't waste any time with her speech. Being excited didn't help matters. "Me and Wonder Bird here were at the gate before, but then we didn't even know if it was the right gate.. or what gate was the right gate. So I thought I would ask someone who knew more about this journey stuff then I did, and you go all over and take bunches of pictures right? Do you know? How do you know when to take a picture though? There never seemed like there was anything cool going on whenever I got to take pictures. Oh and do you know about Vullaby stuff? I wanna do my best for Wonder Bird but it's really hard, you can't just ask what they want you know?"
She actually stopped here, apparently decided she had asked enough questions and wanted to get her answers before bombarding him with more. There was a sense that she was really hanging off his every word though, and that she might do this with practically everyone.
Now that he was showered with praise, he could feel his face flush; albeit he didn’t realize it. he was tongue-tied for a few moments; but managed to recover! He was looking through the viewfinder of his camera for a moment; and then saw that the two Vullabies were now apparently squaring off—right before Irina, his own bird started squawking and then flapping around, trying to run on its stubby legs. “It looks like she’s challenging your Vulla to a game of tag or something. But that’s just my best guess because I can’t fully understand their language or something. In any case…” he trailed off, watching as his Vullaby decided to tap the other species on its ‘shoulder’, before dashing off as fast as it could manage; its stubby legs and wings flapping wildly. “Whoops, time to give chase! You can go faster on that bike, right? Try and see where they’re headed, I’ll keep up!” he continued, pointing to his own bird which had now dashed some considerable distance ahead.
He waited for a few moments to see if she would come along; and in response to her other questions, he decided to tackle them one at a time. “I started taking pictures soon after I arrived here in Unova. you see, I’m not originally from this region, my family moved here back when I was around your age. So, in order to keep my attention elsewhere, I decided to pick up the camera and start living the life of a photographer. I sell some of my better pictures to the publishers here that work with Pokemon, and then I saw that they were so focused on breeding, I decided to try my own hand at it. my ranch is over in Humilau; I just borrowed my older brother’s Fearow to get here, since he’s all the way in Mistralton and not doing anything at the moment…” he trailed off, reminiscing the times that he’d spent growing up getting around. “You know, if you want to start something, you should start early… like now. If you want to be a Trainer, everyone always starts their journey right about this time… I started a bit late myself, alongside the time I decided to take up photography,” he added, patting the camera; before squinting far ahead.
“Come on, our birds are bound to cause a ruckus if left unattended. Let’s chase them down!” he said with a gleeful grin on his face a few moments later, waiting for his companion to catch up with him.

sdfghjk ;;; may apologies for the late post! My muse has returned!
Angel got flustered when she noticed her Wonder Bird had run off with it's new friend. Wonder Bird was the type of Pokemon that was very eager to prove itself, and any challenge that was posed to it that would give it a way to show off for it's trainer was worth it's attention. It was eager but tired, and it made keeping up with the equally energetic Pokemon frustrating but it wasn't willing to accept a loss. It had to keep up. It had to prove itself.
Angel looked at her bike and back at him. She was tired too, but nodded at his suggestion to take her bike. She got on it and kept up pace with him, trusting her Pokemon a bit and wanting to hear the answers to her question. The answers she got her thinking quickly, but she quickly realized she hadn't actually got the answer she was looking for. "But why did you pick photo graphy* and um.. ranch stuff over all the other things you could do? There are so many things.." she said, looking ahead again for a moment. She knew enough about bikes to know she shouldn't be riding without looking where she was going at all.
She seemed sure that she should keep going, but she really didn't want to get too far away from him. Eventually though, she decided to pushed a little further and start to gain the difference between her and her Pokemon and the other Vullaby named Irina. They were rushing pretty fast despite their size, and Wonder Bird seemed to be trying it's hardest to catch up with Irina. It was doing it's best, but was having trouble keeping up the gap.
Since he couldn’t see too far ahead, the next best thing Kouji did was this: he raised his camera up to eye-viewing level and then took a peek through the lens, adjusting the outer rings as he did so. He knew that the camera could double as a telescope (even if it was heavy and somewhat bulky) when he heard his companion ask him a few more questions while they were trying their best to keep up with the Vullabies—not that Irina wanted to lose, she just wanted to give the fellow Vullaby a good run! “Why did I pick them?” he began, over the sound of his own running footsteps. Taking a short stop to peek again through the now-zoomed out lens that was his second pair of eyes, he then composed himself before continuing, “I just love seeing the world through a camera lens. Every moment captured on film is fleeting; because with each image, there are lots of stories to tell. As for the ranch and breeding? You can say my older brothers got me in the business. Then, I realized… breeding is the best thing you can do to help other people out…” he said, hearing a sudden squawking from up ahead.
As it turns out, his Vullaby had seemingly slowed down, allowing its lookalike enough time to catch up with her; Irina wasn’t the kind to just race on ahead and win without letting whoever else was involved put up a fight! The other vulture-like spawn then flapped its stubby wings, waiting for the other one to catch up to where she was right now. It wouldn’t be fair at all if one of them won, right…? That, plus the two birds had already caused quite a ruckus, leaving behind a trail of chaos and disorganization in their wake! Panning back to where Kouji and Angel where, he sighed, before scratching his head sheepishly. “Geez, I think they caused quite an uproar, let’s rein ‘em in before they do too much damage,” he continued, picking up the pace in order to be able to stop the rampaging birds!
Angel wondered about what he said first, it was a very interesting thing to say. "Huh.. but doesn't the world look the same through the camera lens? I thought it did. Is there something different?" she almost wished for a moment they weren't chasing their Pokemon because she really wished she could hold the camera in her hands and look for herself. She vocalized this thought, just not in that way.. instead going.. "Wonder Bird, what are you doing!?" she sounded a little annoyed, although far from genuinely upset.
If Wonder Bird had been able to clearly hear her trainer, she would have stopped. Wonder Bird did this to prove itself, and knowing she was upsetting her trainer would go against that. However she was so focused on proving that another Vullaby was not in fact better then her that this fact was missed. Wonder Bird's frustration was building as well, and was not having fun with this race like Irnia seemed to be having. It had crashed into some very loud things and it was tired, and starting to get frustrated with it all. It not already had failed to beat it's trainer in a race before, but now it couldn't even manage against another Vullaby!
Eventually it decided that it would have to play a little tricky. It wasn't the way it normally liked to do things, but it's like the other Vullaby had set aside any rules. It saw a stand ahead, it looked like a newstand that someone was selling various magazines and small books at. With a quick Gust attack it blew it over, attempting to do so right before the other Vullaby reached it, forcing it stop and change direction.. giving Wonder Bird change to catch up.
Angel could only watch it do this though, squealing.. "No no no! Please Wonder Bird no! Last time you did something like that mommy cried!" she said. Mommy cried a lot though, but it was still something Angel liked to avoid. Although she still hadn't gotten out of the mindset that she would not be going back home, and could worry less about this for the time being.
He then grinned at her initial response; thankfully he already had an answer to this little puzzle she threw her way—“It all depends on your imagination,” he began, hefting it up and taking a peek through the lens. “Sometimes you can see things that normally can’t be seen by human eyesight, for example. When we get our rampaging birds back, I’ll show you some pictures I’ve happened to snap. They’ll be quite surprising when you see them,” he continued; before her tone suddenly changed t something that sounded annoyed—but not directed at him, of course. “Geez, my bird is being a show-off…” he grumbled to himself as he then pushed a few buttons and swung back the telescopic lens into a more comfortable position at this point; and then picking up the pace as well. What the hell is Iri up to anyway? She’s nuts… he thought with a sigh as he looked up as well—and squinted as best as he could, before realizing that one of the birds had knocked an entire magazine stand over!
“Oy,” he could only mutter to himself as he tried to put on some speed—and over at his Vullaby’s point of view, it was now cackling to itself when a sudden flurry of paper cut off its musing! One of the Vullabies gave off a squawk of surprise to see all the falling paper around it; before suddenly coming to a screeching halt—but that wasn’t the end of it; it continued to roll and eventually ended up crashing into the fallen stand as well, causing quite the uproar in its aftermath! “Oy,” he said in a more pointed voice, before smacking his forehead to his palm and taking the longest strides he could manage, finally catching up with the two birds. The newsstand owner was in quite the rage; but with much bowing and apologizing, had managed to set the stand upright and had gathered most of the flown papers. “I swear, sometimes they can be trouble,” he said sheepishly some time later, after returning most of the strewn papers to the rack. “Aww, no, don’t cry, I don’t want to look like the bad guy here…!” he said in Angel’s direction a few moments later; because she did look on the verge bursting into tears!
I want her to ask at least one more question, so don't wrap it up too fast.
❀
"It's fine.. you aren't the bad guy mister.. I just.. feel blech.." She paused for a moment here and started cleaning. It was obvious that this man was upset.. and she apologized so much in response to his frustrated comments about them. "Sorry mister, they ran away so fast." "Sorry mister, I'll learn how to take better care of them, I promise." and much the like, Angel was quickly set down a very apologetic route that made her feel lots of feelings. She wore them on her face like everything else, shame and disappointed. Funny enough these feelings were being mirrored by Wonder Bird, who had not won the race and instead had made her trainer upset. Quite the opposite of showing her that she was amazing.
It was also interesting that once Angel got sad, apparently she became more of a polite reserved child, surprising.
Once they had all cleaned up their mess and were standing around, Angel addressed him again. She looked like she was trying to feel better, but it was a failed attempt. She was too honest with her feelings, and the sadness she felt could be seen by the way she hung her head a little.. staring at the city ground beneath her. Her hands loose and almost lifeless by her side.. the way her foot lazily kicked at a small rock at her foot.. "Mister.. I was hoping I would know how to start by now. I want to go and do fun things, see Unova and maybe even more places.. but don't I have to do something? Can you camera see that? Because I can't.. and you said that it could see stuff that I couldn't..."
It might not make the most sense, and to be honest Angel didn't really even know if she was legitimately asking it or just saying stuff. Still.. it was feelings and she didn't have much of a filter. They just came spilling out of her. She didn't know what the right thing to do was.
She wanted to see the pictures.. but what after that?
“Oh, no, no need to over-apologize. It’s nobody’s fault. They tend to go wild when they’re released from their Pokeballs from time to time…” he began, crouching down and then hesitating for a few seconds—before giving in anyway and ruffling Angel’s hair; because he couldn’t help himself! He just hoped that it was okay with her though—since he used to get his own hair messed around by his older brothers, it had rubbed off on him. He was also quite surprised to see that her normally hyper and bubbly personality had somewhat changed to one that was reserved and extremely polite. I know what Ma calls this… ugh, but I forgot what it was… he thought to himself as he smacked his forehead again and recalled his own Vullaby—they were definitely going to have a long talking-to later. Even if he was a Breeder, he could at least tell what they were saying by way of gestures—it was a long and hard process but he was getting the hang of it.
He was about to look through his camera when he heard a question that was being asked—it reminded him of his own dilemma, back when he’d just started out, albeit at the much later age of thirteen years old. “Well,” he began again, stretching his legs for a bit before looking right at her for a few moments, “…sometimes it takes much longer for people to get started on their journey of discovery. I… I started at thirteen, because originally, I’m not from Unova; I come from all the way in Kanto—and my family just happened to move here when I was already ten years old. It took a while to actually get here though, since we had to find my older brothers and drag ‘em all back home. Anyway, this camera here?” he trailed off, patting the thing that hung around his neck with some affection, “I’ve had it since I was fourteen. It took me a while to save up to get this thing. I tried battling, I tried all sorts of things; but then I realized that battling wasn’t really my thing—taking care of Pokemon was. The breeding came along much later, because I stayed over with one of my brothers who’s now in Mistralton who’d already started his own breeding business. When I stayed there with him, I experienced the world of breeding firsthand, and… things just came together. Taking care of others’ precious ‘mons and breeding them was where I was happiest,” he continued, trying to look for the appropriate words.
After some thought, he continued, “Well, you don’t necessarily have to rush things. You can just travel around Unova, try out a few things, and see what really suits your thing. You’re still young, so don’t be afraid to try out a lot of things; it does take a while to make up your mind and eventually make a choice that will change your life, hopefully for the better. After all, there’s no harm in trying, right?” he said with an encouraging smile on his face, before an idea struck him. “Oh, I know…” he trailed off, quickly flipping his camera around and fiddling around with some of the buttons before flipping it so that the screen faced her; “Take a look. This is what I see from the other side of the lens.”
After giving her quick instructions on how to use the arrow buttons (just to move backward and forward really) Angel would see that it wasn’t just the pictures of the Vullabies that was there—there were also macro shots of Unovan nature; the skylines, bridges, as well as his attempts at capturing the “perfect sunset” from various points around the region—all of them getting close but not quite so. The best shot he had was one in the White Forest, where he’d traveled in order to see some of the Unovan-exclusive Pokemon grazing without a care in the world on the grass that readily grew there. The angle looked like it was taken from ground level—and in fact it was, he’d even taken the pains of lying down and camouflaging himself in order not to be seen—he’d discovered that the flash function of his camera did scare away the ‘mons out of surprise!
She smiled when she looked at the pictures the way he told her. Their was a bunch of pretty ones.. this was the kind of thing that made her want to see the world. All these pretty moments. He had a camera too, so he could take all of the things and remember the moments forever better then almost everyone else.
She smiled at them.. and started thinking to herself something else. What was it that she wanted to remember? What kind of things would she take pictures of? She looked up at Kouji.. he was really nice. She had been unsure of what she wanted to and she still was.. but he listened to her and didn't make her feel stupid. He said some things made it sound like it was okay to keep trying. Her dad said all of this kind of thing before.. that it was okay to keep trying and stuff. She remembered when she asked for a skateboard and only used it for a month. Daddy was okay with that too. He told he was just happy she got to try it out.
She didn't know where to start though.. what was the first thing she wanted to do? The answer to that suddenly came to her. Her face moved into slight surprised, and then she smiled.. she had already started what she wanted to do first.. hadn't she?
"I wanna make friends! That's the kind of thing I would take pictures of! I would take pictures of all the friends I meet so I could remember them forever. C-Can we take one?" she said, stammering it out. "Us and our Pokemon together? I don't wanna forget you Kouji.." she looked really sincere too.
Kouji was wondering if she had aleady found the answer she was looking for—for one thing, he could tel that the way she was looking through the pictures on his camera, she was fascinated. “That’s just the beginning of it. I want to go around Unova again… tour all the bridges; get my perfect sunset snapshots there… and just enjoy life,” he said with a sheepish grin, before she came up with an idea of having their picture taken together. He’d also noticed the shift in her voice again—it was back to what it was like earlier! Phew, what a relief… he thought to himself finally relieved that he wasn’t the bad guy in this outfit at least. Since he had yet to recall his own Vullaby, he decided to try and take the picture himself, by flipping the camera around so that the lens faced them. “I’ll take a couple of shots, so say cheese and give it your best smile!” he said, stretching his legs for a moment before returning to the crouched position and hefting Irina up onto his lap. “Cheese now!” he added, winking and grinning at the camera’s lens and pressing down on the shutter.
After the first click went off, he decided that one shot wasn’t enough… “Okay let’s have some more. Give me some wacky faces here!” he continued, pressing down on the shutter again as he himself arranged his face into the weirdest look he could muster; something that he’d read online that they called the “duckface”. He knew that it would look really weird, but he let the shutter depress before pressing down on it again, snapping a few more stolen wacky shots of the two. After around seven takes, he then hoisted the camera and then recalled his Vullaby, before getting yet another idea. “I know. Come with me,” he said, standing up and offering his hand to follow her—before realizing that she had a bike, and then pointing to the nearest camera store instead. “Come, I’ll get them printed so you can have a copy to take with you on your journey,” he said with another cheesy grin.
Angel had a lot of fun taking pictures with Kouji. It felt good.. her smile in the first picture was real big beaming one. Anyone who looked at that picture would know that the kid in the picture was truly genuinely happy.. it wasn't just a smile for the camera.
After that, the wacky faces were easy too. I mean, wacky faces always came natural to kids.. but the faces that Kouji were making were just so funny. She tried to copy him (especially the duckface) but had to keep in some giggles too. She made sure Wonder Bird was in the pictures of course.. their Vullabies were part of their bond so she was happy that they were there too. Wonder Bird was just relieved that her trainer was not upset with her anymore and that everything was okay.
Click. Click. Before she knew it picture taking was over. She felt a little pang of sadness once it was. It wasn't that she wasn't excited to go on her friendship journey.. but she hoped she would get to see her first friend on her journey again one day. He had inspired a few things in her.. and a love for the camera in her own way.
"I gotta get a camera soon too so I can pictures of all my friends!" she said, to him.. thinking he would like that? "Thank you for letting me have a picture I'll keep it safe. You'll have one too right? Even though they aren't as pretty as your other ones? You won't throw it away?" Maybe it was a bit self-centered.. but the worry in her voice was honest.

“Of course I’ll have one for myself too, that’s what we’re going to do,” he added with grin, leading the way to one of the nearby camera stalls in Nimbasa’s crowded streets. He just happened to have a store that he could call his “other home”, mostly because he was friends with most of the staff in there—hell the owner also gave him discounts every time he dropped by to either get his own rig repaired or to pick up an order of new lenses that weren’t available in Unova. After cutting through the crowd, he then found the small, non-descript store and then slipped inside; and the moment his presence was announced by the tinkling bell, the people behind the counter flew into a flurry, since one of their patrons had returned! “Hey Tower, long time no chat!” one of the staff members joked, flashing a thumbs-up before Kouji proceeded to head on over to the counter, flipping his camera over and turning the power off before extracting the camera’s memory card. “So yeah,” he began, before handing it over to the staff member he was talking with, “…can you print a few pictures for me? Kinda like those wallet-sized things you got goin’ out there,” he added, pointing towards one of the displays that had promo packages advertised on it.
“Oh sure Ji, no problem—oh my is that your sis—?” the staff member began, blinking upon seeing Angel outside, before looking back at him in confusion; “…I thought you were the youngest? She your cousin or something?” he added, taking the memory card and inserting it into the slot so that the pictures stored on it could be revealed. “Well, you could say that, also, can you…?” Kouji continued, dropping into a whisper and then gesturing around with his hands, pointing towards the pictures he wanted to have printed while at the same time, working out details for something that he wanted to give to the younger girl. “Ohhhh, sure, shall I slap it on your tab then?” he asked Kouji, to which he nodded. “Wait for the pics there and I’ll be right out,” he chortled with a grin before heading into the back room. At this time, he looked up and then waved Angel inside, since the pictures were now being printed out and he wanted her to see the pictures that she was going to take along for her journey. Of course they were being printed out as two copies; one was for him, the other was hers…
