I can feel it

So, she had lost contact with her family. How long had it been then? Nearly a decade, since she saw most of them? If she had left the house when she was fourteen, and then only saw the older brother, Rikkan, at some unknown point some years later . . .
But it was good to see her turn to the bright side of things - her Pokemon. Over the past several years, Cleave and Eclair had been nearly Etta's only companions, so she could relate in a small way to how important Stell's must have been to her, through everything. Their situations were entirely different, but some of the loneliness was definitely the same. The first time she had been without Emile for more than a couple of weeks, she would never have been able to stand it without Eclair. Emile, who she had been practically joined at the hip with since birth, striking it out on his own while she walked in another direction.
(Of course, the very first time they tried to split up had been a total failure - less than a week passed before they had run blindly back to each other, reuniting by chance and through perhaps some kind of ambiguous magic of twins. Some time later, they split up again with much better success - this time with video chatting on their Pokenavs.)
Etta did notice the similarities to their meeting, almost immediately, and met Stell's look with a grin. Deserts must just be good places for meeting people. Whoever they are, they're almost sure to be adventurous, at least. And because of meeting Stell, an otherwise regretful situation had become a rather fond memory - though she had no intention of repeating that little excursion ever again.
"What about you? Any contact with your twin?"
Etta nodded. "We talk a few times a week. More, if I'm not traveling." She chuckled. "He has a strange schedule right now, so he'll call me at the strangest hours. But I'm a pretty light sleeper, and I fall asleep pretty easily, so I don't really mind."
Sometimes he would even just call her to tell her about a new restaurant he had eaten at. Together they were forming a mental list of all the places they would have to go together, once they met up again. She had a feeling that their long separation was only leading up to an even longer reunion . . .
"Do you know where they are? Your family members?" she asked, almost without thinking. A reunion would be nice for them, as well.
Having chosen his pizza, the Beach Ball hopped back over to the couch and commenced his rollings around, oblivious to anything but the warm, familiar feeling in the room. His Lady was here, and Her nice friend, and he had this wonderful hot food-thing. It was really all he ever needed.
---
More than happy to oblige, Cleave stood at once, asking Spring what she would like to see.
Eclair waved a hand dismissively, not really minding the questions. They were reasonable enough - not like the rambling half-monologues that Cleave would sometimes go on when they were traveling. Those were just ridiculous generators of headaches.
Starter? Eclair asked. First Pokemon? Yes, she guessed she was. Etta's father had introduced them to one another, and the two had been partners ever since. They had had others in their group before, but they had become the starter pokemon for other children in Etta's home city.
"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
There was a slight sympathy feel coming of from Etta, and Stellar could guess why. She's grateful Etta didn't overwhelm her or anything, so this is alright, just soothing talks and feels all around.
The similarity of the situation of their first meeting brought a grin to Etta's face, which Stellar is glad for. A smile looks great and fitting on Etta's face.
The talk of deserts brought a smile on Stellar's face too. Unknowingly, throughout the war, the desert had became her greatest friend. It was a place of meetings, of hopes and adventures. The natural sandstorms became a barrier to the outside war, for it takes a lot to cross one, and it's hard to battle in one. Nobody would do it, for it's a disadvantage with nothing to gain. Slowly, her team begun to adapt to the desert, and she began to look forward going there, even if it's for short period of times.
Safety.
The desert now represents her safe place.
Etta talked so fondly of her brother; it's really nice that they stayed in touch. 'They are so close,' Stellar thought, and she fancy she could hear a little tint of envy coloring her mind speech. It's ridiculous, of course, but Stellar doubt the what ifs will ever leave her mind. It's part of being human, after all.
"...No."
There's only regret in her voice for that answer, but she truly have no idea. "Probably back in the other region....I don't think they want to see me."
Too ashamed.
"I'd rather them remember me as a small girl playing with an Aron, once upon a time."
And viciously, in her head, Stellar would rather her family members think of her dead. There was a slight fear in her eyes, the true reason why she can't bring herself to search for her families actively.
'How will I ever explain that I've killed people? Pokemon?'
Stellar tried to pull back the comfortable tone she had gotten used to. "I suppose I just don't want them to see me like this now. I'm not someone to be proud of, unlike you, Etta."
A small movement on her side; Stellar looked down and found Aria's pokeball beside her. Sam must have put her down and Aria rolled over or something, but the gesture speaks volumes, and Stellar gripped the pokeball slightly tightly, feeling the support. Her Pokemon is just so good at reading her emotions. -- The Archeops couple have now move nearer to where the pizza is. The pizza was placed on a rather high table, though, so Sam, the bigger and taller one, peeked up and took a slice for his partner and himself.
Munching on it, they were interested when they saw the same Cacnea that they had encountered in the desert. Plume took the initiative to seek the green beach ball out, since Sam is being hesitant, as always.
The female Archeops move forward, before nudging the Cacnea with her head. -- 'Surprise me?' Spring followed Cleave quietly, her steps dainty. Anything would be interesting, and Cleave is so good at introducing things that anything looks interesting.
Raven tilted her head. 'Oh?' That's interesting, but she can't imagine any of Stellar's current team leaving and becoming someone else's starters. It's so difficult; they are just so close together. She looked at Eclair again, and commented, 'You don't look like you are interested at evolving.' Is she? Is Eclair interested?
Sae lay her head on the floor, but her gaze was on Eclair. If Eclair didn't want to evolve, Sae could understand totally.

". . . No," Stell said, after a moment. "Probably back in the other region . . . I don't think they want to see me. I'd rather them remember me as a small girl playing with an Aron, once upon a time . . ."
Etta could hardly believe that. Stell clearly loved her family, and she was sure they had loved her . . . If they had been separated by the war, then of course they must miss her. They must be crazy with concern over where she was and what happened to her.
She could understand Stell's feelings, a little bit, but she had to be all wrong.
"I suppose I just don't want them to see me like this now. I'm not someone to be proud of, unlike you, Etta."
Oh hell no.
Etta drew herself up, turning to face Stell and sitting on her legs. Her face took on the same stern, familiar look she usually gave to Emile on the odd occasion she had to lecture him for something. She just couldn't believe it. Stell was a dear, but she was all wrong now. Unbeknownst to her, Etta's posture more or less resembled a perturbed mother at this point - the only thing she was missing were her hands on her hips.
She was so setting this record straight.
"Stell, it's your family. Of course they want to see you. Why wouldn't they? You're a pretty awesome lady. They're probably sick with worry, not knowing what happened to you. What about your brother? He still cared, when you saw him last, didn't he? You really loved them - I see it in your face - and there's no way that kind of love exists unless they loved you just as much. And," and now her hands did move to her hips, as she leaned forward slightly, staring Stell right in the face, "if only one of us is worth being proud of, then it's gonna be you, missy, because the universe seems to have dealt you a really crappy hand, but all I see is a strong, brave woman with badass Pokemon who love her. Now, I don't know about you, but Pokemon are pretty great judges of character - so are you going to say that they're wrong about you?"
Etta continued to stare at her, determined, daring her to challenge that logic. Stell was great, dammit - anything she had done during the war was to stay alive, and there was no faulting her for that.
And what's so great about me, anyways? All I do is people watch and ask intrusive questions for a living. And trespass. There is definitely some trespassing - even though it's totally justified in the long-run. Most of the time.
---
At the nudge, the Beach Ball rolled around to face the Archeops . . . and then froze, staring up at her, wide-eyed and dumbstruck. Who was this now? Have we met before? Cac cac cac . . . neeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa?
Meanwhile, in the Pokemon room, Cleave looked around for a moment before leading Spring over to a set of low-hung paintings lining one wall. They were all scenes from around Hoenn - landscapes, with Pokemon native to the areas depicted. Closer inspection of the paintings would show all sorts of hidden details, Cleave explained. It probably wasn't the most fun thing in the room, he admitted, but they were interesting to look at.
Eclair shrugged at the question. Maybe one day, sure, but I'm not one to rush - I'm still young, after all. She smirked. And I'm not Cleave, over there. From the second we met, evolving's been his only real concern.
"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
The shift in the situation certainly caught Stellar off guard. The stance that Etta took on was similar to when Aria was chiding her on the stuff that she shouldn't do, or, she vaguely remember, was the stance her mother or her older siblings use to put when they are scolding her, or setting her straight for something she had done.
She open her mouth, knowing she needs to say something to Etta after the brrage of words that rained down on her, but Stellar can't bring her voice out. They seem stuck in her throat, like she knew that everything Etta said is true and the denial is getting harder and harder. Two side warring in herself.
"....My Pokemon could be mistaken..." was the only thing she could pull out, finally. Tears were welling up at the corner of her eyes, threatening to overflow but not just yet. Being in war might have hardened her, but Stellar had never lost the ability to cry. She never forgotten to cry, because she cried every single time a sacrifice is made, her Pokemon, her opponent's Pokemon, her loved ones' death, anything. She mourns hard, even now.
A deep part inside her wants to lash out at Etta for thinking like that, thinking that Stellar is alright. She wants to, but she caught the bandage wrapping the upper part of Etta's arm, and suddenly, her blood just stopped pounding in her ears, slowed their rhythm and there's no anger, only a reminder that Etta might just have the right to judge after all.
She could say Etta haven't even seen a small fraction of what she had done, but perhaps, a part of it, when she killed those two men earlier today. She could, but Etta's eyes bore into her, gleaming with a kind of brutal honesty that believes in her wholeheartedly, and that shine made Stellar believed her, even if by a little. It was hypnotizing, to say the least, and as long as Etta believes her, Stellar thinks she can try to believe too, no matter how hard.
"...and I yelled at them." Confession, as their eyes locked. She doesn't know if they loved her anymore. She doesn't even know if she had and still loved them enough. It had been ages. She doesn't remember if the fondness she felt now was the same as she had once upon a time, or was it way stronger back then? Did she lose her love?
-------
Plume shrugged, before nodding. "Chhheeeeee ops," she confirmed, while Sam peeked from her side. Funny Cacnea, making it all the way here.
"Arrrr...?" Sam asked, just perhaps, did the Cacnea took a liking to one of the ladies? His tail curled around Plume's at that question, since the ladies that were there when they met the Cacnea are Etta, Stellar and Plume.
--------
Spring took a closer look at those paintings. "Lea lea leafeoooon," she said that Aria had came from Hoenn, though the rest of the team never set a foot on Hoenn before until now. Stellar came from Hoenn as well, and the Leafeon is actually curious how this region is like, so the paintings are great. Would Cleave introduce her to each place, if he wants to, of course.
Raven nodded her head in understanding. Her eye caught onto Sae's, the Ninetales having not wanted to evolve until forced to. She too, had evolved, though not entirely by forced but with motivation to survive. Guess that motivation doesn't exist here.
"He did evolve, congratulations to that," the Umbreon gestured, "Are you two the only Pokemon...?"

tag stell words 407 note in which Etta just wants to adopt stell as her little sister and be done with it, haha
I can feel it
in my bones
". . . My Pokemon could be mistaken . . ." Stell said after a long moment, but there was no resolve behind it, and Etta just tipped her head to the side slightly, waiting for the other woman to work through her thoughts. But she already knew that nothing she had said could really be argued with. Stell was just going to have to realize that she was awesome, or else.
Their eyes met. Etta's gazed softened a bit, but didn't waver, waiting for whatever she would say next.
". . . and I yelled at them."
Etta blinked.
She stared.
She waited.
She blinked again.
Until finally she realized that that was Stell's argument, that was really it, all she apparently had, and Etta dropped out of her stance to double over on the couch, laughing.
"You dork," she said, through bouts of laughter, "of course you yelled at them if you had a fight. Who doesn't yell at their family? It's part of being a kid! Good, good lord . . . yelled at them . . . that's adorable . . ." She laughed a bit more, before brushing her hair back out of her face and looking up at Stell. She smiled, and it was another sort of smile she would give to her brother - something full of affection, and peace. "Hon, it's OK. It really is. The people that can make you passionate enough to yell are the people you love the most. What you did - the only person faulting you is yourself. "
---
The Beach Ball looked between the two bird Pokemon, then toddled around to look at Etta and Stell. Then toddled around again to look at the pair of Archeops.
"Mistress is the Fabled One," explained the Beach Ball, whispering in reverence.
---
Cleave was more than happy to begin explain what each painting was a picture of, and the different Pokemon that were hidden around each one. He was originally from Hoenn, as well, he explained, but had been brought over to Kanto a long time ago, before meeting Etta.
Eclair nodded lazily. Yes, just the two of us. We travel light, and who else could she possibly need? She smirked. She doesn't even really need Cleave, but he's amusing.
Are there more of you? Eclair asked, glancing around at Saedae, and the two Archeops in the next room.
"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
There was that silence that held on for a moment, that unnerving silence that Stellar was sure Etta was finally convinced that no, no way being associated with Stellar is any good at all, there's no way this kind of night will last forever and again and again and -
Etta laughed.
She laughed as though as everything is funny, as though as everything is the most hilarious thing in the world. Frankly, Stellar couldn't understand why, could make head and tails of what is happening, but she definitely could feel the indignant that is rising up in her throat, pulling a pout from her lips, surprise on her face.
But that smile, the smile that Eta gave, it's so warm. Warm like the spring sun, warm in a kind of way that is bringing back those fond memories even if she couldn't see them clearly anymore.
...it's really okay? Like, really, really, okay?
The pout melted away from her face, and unconsciously, Stellar let out a sigh. The stubbornness that had caused her to stomp out of the house years ago rears it's ugly head, though, and the woman wants to believe that Etta is wrong, even if the burden had felt like it's been lifted away from her chest.
("Hon, it's OK. It really is. The people that can make you passionate enough to yell are the people you love the most. What you did - the only person faulting you is yourself. ")
And she hit the spot.
She hit the spot in only a way Aria had done for years, straight on and knowing is for Stellar's own good, accurate to the point it nearly frightens her. Her grip on Aria's pokeball tighten, and the pokeball felt like it's burning her, though she would willingly relish the imaginary pain. So conflicted on who and what to believe; it felt like a different kind of war.
Gently, as though as swimming for the first time and testing the water, Stellar allowed herself to believe....and it felt good. A rare kind of good.
"...I don't know what to say," she replied back lamely, feeling the energy drain from her body.
---
To say the two Archeops were confused is an understatement.
"Fabled one?" Sam echoed with a click of his jaws, confusion clear on his face. His tail is still intertwined with Plume, though less tight now, and he took a look at his dearest partner, only to get an expression that mirrors his own.
"...some kind of prophecy?" Plume took a quick guess, her voice slight higher than Sam's, a chime and a tough note hidden behind the warmth.. Having been an archaeologist Pokemon has it's perks; myths and weird stories came with the job after all.
---
Hoenn seems like a fantastic place, Spring though, her tail waving in a gentle, content manner. She blinked at Cleave's past, before wanting to ask something, but paused, thinking over her words for a moment. Quietly, she asked, "If it's not too annoying or intruding, could you tell me what Kanto looks like as well?"
Travel light, huh? Well, that makes sense.
"What if, though, there' danger that your types can't handle?"
That was the Ninetales, blinking. She have learned the hard way of the beauty of teamwork; there's no way to survive on your own, especially not if you are protecting some one and you get overconfident of your abilities.
"...yeah," Raven answered Eclair's second question, "Stell isn't limited to six. Who have you seen so far?" Fair question, and Raven't wariness doesn't allow her to spill all the identities of Stellar's most trusted Pokemon just yet.

I Can Feel It In My Bones
"You don't have to say anything,"Etta told her, draping an arm over the back of the couch and then resting her head on it. She smirked. "Just stop trying to argue with me," she said jokingly, turning her head slightly to look back toward the TV.
She just hoped Stell got it, now - or at least was starting to get it, and maybe begin to forgive herself for whatever number of things had been haunting her. Etta knew she couldn't hope to repair everything that had happened to her friend, but after what they had been through today, she just prayed that she had made a good start of it.
The persian and the pikachu were in the middle of a chase through a playground, now, and she had no idea what was happening in the movie anymore. So, she turned her attention down to the Beach Ball, which seemed to be having a conversation with Sam and Plume.
---
The Beach Ball nodded at Plume's question, then seemed to peer around as though he was afraid that someone might be listening. He leaned closer to them, getting ready to confide his little tale.
"The prophecy is passed down by my family for years, yes, of a beautiful lady who will-"
"And what are you guys discussing? Intrigue?" Etta asked, suddenly scooping the Beach Ball up and placing him in her lap. Far from being upset about being interrupted, the Beach Ball seemed to forget he had been talking at all, and rocked back and forth happily against Etta's hands. Etta looked over at Stell. "I think this one's got secrets," she declared cheerfully, nodding down at the Cacnea.
---
Cleave thought about Kanto for a moment, looking a bit lost in thought before turning back to Spring with a smile. He told her he would be happy to tell her what he knew, but in all honesty he had spent most of his time in just one or two cities. Most of what he knew about the rest of the region was second-hand knowledge.
"Types we can't handle?"Eclair asked lazily. "Why, we improvise, naturally~" Between the three of them, they always had a few tricks up their sleeve. And Etta had a way of dancing out of conflicts before they escalated too far, most of the time.
Hm . . . who had she seen? She thought about it for a moment, but it probably looked like she was just dozing off. "Why . . . just about everyone who's out now," she said. "And a Mightyena. And I know of an Aggron."

NOTES: It's fiiiiiine~ Don't worry about it! I know you're busy.
"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
She couldn't find it in herself to argue, so she took Etta's advice and fell quiet. This conversation have left her with a lot to think and drained in a way, and the woman directed her gaze to the TV as well. The Persian and the Pikachu is running round and round and round and it's hypnotizing, giving her a blank feeling, allowing her to calm down. There's no way to rage with the constant movement after all.
It was Etta's sudden movement and two surprised yelps from her two Archeops that snapped Stellar's attention back to Etta, the Cacnea practically purring up to the other woman. "...Secrets or not, he seems extremely happy to be by your side. Interestingly." And like that, the tension, the earlier conversation is gone, fading to the background, only ready to appear another time.
Her two Archeops came over, choosing and carefully taking their places behind or beside Stellar. Sam ended up next to Stellar's knee, Plume on top of him. Being female and lighter has its perks; she gets to sit on her male Archeops partner if she wants too, tail teasing Sam by tickling his head. Sam crooned, once in a while letting out yelps of protest. Plume shared a glance with the Cacnea, and winked. Maybe the Cacnea will tell them the prophecy the next time they are all alone again.
Stellar absentmindedly patted both bird Pokemon, tucking Aria's pokeball to Sam's grip. She looked up at the time, just to note how late it's getting, and plus, her stomach is getting hungry. Maybe a little supper....a grumble sounded, and she blushed.
--
Second-hand knowledge is better than no knowledge, Spring replied promptly. At least, knowledge is better than nothing at all. "I'm so sorry for asking you to tell everything and entertaining me," er ears flopped down, trying to think of an equivalent exchange she can offer Cleave, "I don't know much, though...so..."
Raven nodded. To be able to improvise is the best thing on can do after all. She considered the list that Eclair have seen....
That's Aria, Plume, Sam....she looked at her sister and Sae, plus herself, and Ly, since she said Mightyena and that's the only Mightyena Stellar has. "That's most of us, yes," the Umbreon replied, "We inter exchange turns to be outside, but that's most of us. Maybe next round you won't see my sister or I; we are some of the ones Stell tends to exchange."
The Umbreon isn't bothered; no, they get their fair share, of course. Stellar takes as the situation needs her, though there are permanent members in her team and the most obvious one being Aria.

I Can Feel It In My Bones
"Have you eaten much pizza yet?"Etta asked, smirking over at Stell and then nodding pointedly at the spread of food on the table. "Get to it - we're supposed to be stuffing our faces~" She leaned over the Beach Ball, putting a palm on top of his head and rolling him backwards and forwards as she reached out to grab another slice of pizza for herself. "Yeah, I don't know what the deal is. I run him over with a sled and now he's following me across the region?" She smirked down at him, and the Beach Ball made a sound that almost sounded like a purr. "Maybe he's lying in wait to exact his revenge."
The Beach Ball, oblivious to the conversation and rolled in one direction and caught Plume's wink. He gave her a dopey little grin in return, probably not comprehending her meaning but continuing to roll against Etta's hand.
"Anyway, I'll be on the look-out for your brother," she said casually, picking off a piece of pepperoni and popping it in her mouth. "Or anyone else in your family. I get around enough - and who knows. You came out to this part of the world - maybe some of them did to?"
She scooped the Beach Ball up and placed him back between her and Stell, and he resumed his rolling back and forth between them.
Cleave was quick to assure Spring that he was more than happy to tell her as much as he knew - he just hoped that his knowledge of things was broad enough to be of interest, and was accurate enough to be properly informative. He didn't mention that much of his time in Saffron had not been well-spent, and that it greatly put a damper on how much he could share with her as a whole.
"It must be interesting to go around with such a crowd," Eclair observed in her usual lazy tone. She wasn't sure whether or not she envied them - it wasn't so bad, with just the three of them, but she knew that Etta and Cleave got lonely at times, at least. As for Eclair, she was just fine as it was . . . so with a distinct lack or ice to sculpt, she did get bored.
Oh, ice. A big snazzy hotel like this - they must have it for those prissy Swanna sculptures and the like. Maybe she could get Etta to arrange something.
"Either of you lot ever seen a good ice sculpture?" she asked, sighing contentedly as she settled back in her seat.

"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
"Ah..." Stellar awkwardly stood up and reach for the pizza, taking a nice, big slice and biting into it. It tasted wondrous in her hunger, and before she realized it, she finished it in a few bites. Watching Etta rolled the Beach Ball around is funny, though. "....purring for revenge, very legit," she replied, a giggle in her voice, before taking another pizza slice. Arceus, she's hungry!
"I don't know, maybe," Stellar replied back carefully to Etta's statement. Etta could be right, of course, as much as Stellar hoped her family stayed in one pace she hardly doubted they actually did that. No way. Not possible. "If you do, though...I...I...I think I want to meet them." Highly afraid, but still.
Still.
And beside her, Plume settled down comfortably on top of Sam, becoming his warm, feathery blanket. Stellar gave them both bits of her pizza, eventually taking a few slice and giving them one slice each.
The woman could feel a yawn coming to her. Now that she already has food, she felt tired, especially after what had happened. Sleepiness and comfort does go hand in hand, after all.
--
Spring was quick to assure back that she's well interested in his wide amount of knowledge, that he's extremely smart and it's really too wonderful that he's so willing to share. She's grateful for everything he have told her so far, and in the midst of reassuring him, she accidentally let out a yawn, before blinking and looking utterly mortified to have yawned in front of Cleave. Immediately, she apologized for being rude.
"Ice...sculpture?" Raven blinked, "I don't believe so." It's true though, they didn't go to icy places much. Deserts are one story, snow places are another, and Stellar does have a distinct lack of ice type in her team.

I Can Feel It In My Bones
"....purring for revenge, very legit."
"Hey, we would never expect it," Etta pointed out lightly, nestling back into the couch. She stretched her arms up high, feeling the burning prickle down them as the bandages brushed against the wounds. It wasn't so bad at all, really, and with a look of vague contentment she let her arms settle back in her lap. She raised an eyebrow at the rolling Cacnea. "Charm us with his stubby little thorns and adorable noises, and then once we fall asleep he starts some demonic summoning ritual~"
She looked over at Stell as she spoke. "I don't know, maybe . . . If you do, though...I...I...I think I want to meet them."
Etta nodded. "That good, Stell." She smiled. "I bet they've been waiting for you . . ." Noting that even the Beach Ball's rollings were beginning to slow down, and that Stell was beginning to look a little dozy, along with her Pokemon, Etta picked up the TV remote and turned off the movie. ". . . I've got a good feeling about this, you know."
And she did. That same feeling that worked its way through her when she was on to something - like a phantom sense of something outside of herself that was drawing nearer. It was just a feeling, nothing exact, nothing specific, and nothing that was set in stone, but it was a good start.
After what Stell had done for her that day, Etta felt like a little engineered reunion was the least she could do.
"It's been quite a day," Etta told her. "Why don't we just chat for a while and eat some more of this food, and then turn in? I think everyone's getting pretty tired."
Cleave assured her over and over again that there was nothing to apologize for - it was getting quite late and it was about time for all of them to be turning in. If she was very tired, he could escort her back to Stell's door, and then if she wished he could tell her more about Kanto and Hoenn in the morning before they left.
Meanwhile, Eclair yawned as well. "Oh, well, I'll have to show you sometime. I've won some awards for them, you know. I suppose we could have gone into contests, if we had really wanted." She shrugged, then stood up. "Pleasure meeting you all, but it's about time for some beauty sleep. See you in the morning~"
And with that, she glided over to Etta's door, which still stood partially open, slipped inside, and shut it behind her without a sound.

Sounds good to me~ You could even cut to the next morning in your post, I think, and just say they chatted for a bit.
"There's a war, and the price of fighting is loneliness. There's a war, and people died. There's a war, and nothing is left."
The idea of a Cacnea pulling off a demonic ritual is very amusing and very far fetched, but maybe this is something more commonly found in these regions than everywhere else. Stellar lightly thought of the demonic ritual in the same time of thinking how her family's reaction would be, upon meeting her. The thoughts were all swirling around, getting muddier and muddier as sleepiness began to take hold. She wants to hold on to those thoughts, but found it impossible.
"..I hope it is," was all she could say to Etta's good feeling, and Stellar finally let out a yawn, one that convinced the woman herself that she's pretty tired. They chatted a little more, topics jumping to really lighthearted stuff like what kind of food they like etc. Soon enough, they were too tired to go on, and the food are all gone.
"Goodnight," Stellar wished, as she stood up. Beside her, Sam staggered upwards, having fallen asleep. The male Archeops carried his female partner on his back, Plume snuggling to Sam, and the Archeops pair moved their way into Stellar's room first. The woman checked into the Pokemon room, right into when Spring is thanking Cleave a lot for going to escort her, but look, her trainer's here and she'll just be going now, thanks for everything again.
"...Would be glad to see," Raven agreed to Eclair, standing up and stretching. She looked up and perk up at Stellar's figure, the Umbreon joining her sister with Saedea, and the three made their way to Stellar's room, only Sae letting out a soft whine complaining how she's too large to be carried and she wants to be a Vulpix again, if possible.
In the room, Stellar just let her Pokemon take their places, Sae jumping up to the bed once more. Aria was placed by her pillow, for comfort, and Stellar settled to a restful night.

It's the next morning, and here they are, standing in front of the hotel, Stellar ready to go on her exploration. She have exchanged her Pokemon in the lobby, where there's a PC for convenience of the guest, and her Sawsbuck is out, ready as her ride. Her eyes darted to Etta's arm, still in bandages, and the small twinge of guilt is there.
"It's time for me to go....I guess," Stellar smiled softly, "It's been a great night. Thank you so much." As soon as they have done their goodbyes, she'll ride her Sawsbuck, and be gone like the wind, once more.

I Can Feel It In My Bones
"It's time for me to go....I guess . . . It's been a great night. Thank you so much."
Etta had gone downstairs with her, but still had some business in Lilycove and wouldn't be leaving yet. The morning had been spent talking lightly over breakfast, while Cleave chatted endlessly to Spring and Eclair lazed around being somewhat friendly, but mostly doing her morning routine of being Simply Too Tired for much of anything. Both Cleave and Eclair were now still up in the hotel room. The Beach Ball had come down, hugged Stell's ankle, and then proceeded to roll around at Etta's feet.
She smiled at Stell. "I'll keep in touch, OK? We should do this again sometime soon." Fate had done a tidy job of making sure they crossed paths so far - maybe the trend would continue. And if not, then they always had cell phones.
Etta stooped to grab the Beach Ball, scooping it up and holding it in front of her. The Beach Ball chirped happily and waved to Stell.
"Happy travels," Etta said with a smirk, and after a few more goodbyes, some teasing of the Beach Ball, and an awkward sort-of handshake as Etta tried to keep hold of the exuberant Cacnea, she watched Stell start down the street. She watched for a long moment, the other woman easily visible over the foot crowd, and decided that they would meet again soon, under happier circumstances.
She turned her attention down to the Beach Ball. "Well, being a little pizza saboteur aside, I think you've passed probation."
He blinked up at her. She shrugged. "Yeah, you can stick around, if you want. I'm pretty sure you're just going to follow me anyway, no matter what I say."
The Cacnea commenced happily flailing, stubby little arms with stubby little thorns waving in the air but avoiding her face and arms, and shooting a smirk at some blank-faced onlookers, Etta turned and walked back into the hotel. The concierge raised a hand in greeting, the women at the front desk waved. It was a very attentive hotel, and Etta had no doubt that all her needs were going to be met quite well.
There were adventures ahead, and if she wanted to reach them sooner, there were a few phone calls she was going to have to make
