In the early mornings of June, only a few, thin clouds filled the sky. The town was lit by the purest ocean of blue hidden from the golden bars that were overcast by orbs of fluffy white that slowly moved overhead. This was a change, considering that as of late, the region had been plagued in an endless rain that had only recently subsided. The people were in cognizant of the world's weather changes; especially considering that the news was in uproar about it without actually having a logical explanation as to why this change was occurring.
Alas, it mattered not, since many of the citizens continued to move about the city as normal hiding the fact that they were now consistently walking on eggshells awaiting for a massive storm to occur. From the far corners of the earth, Summer casually moved through the city with her blue sundress and straw-hat becoming victim to the wind's dance forcing her to grab hold of her attire desperately forcing it to cling to her frame. Titania bounced quietly beside her, still relishing in her new form. Ever so often she would let out a small cry in excitement only to become increasingly silent moments after.
From the far corners of the city, she was already taking notice of the illustrious Bubble Dome that stood within the heart of Tyntill Town. She had never been here as a child. Her aunt and uncle rarely made trips to Tyntill since they considered it, along with Flash City, a place for hoods to go wild.
The thing is, Summer's aunt was never a woman that could be called knowledgeable. Frankly, she knew nothing outside of her farm and the Grey family heritage. It is because of this that even now Summer took the woman's words with a grain of salt, and that grain of salt is exactly how she ended up making her way to the aquarium that she adored from her dreams. Her aunt would be ripping out her hair if she knew where Summer was, and the pink-haired beauty couldn't help but crack a small smile at the thought of this. It was never her intention to upset her aunt, even so there was no harm in finding amusement of the woman's worry.
Continuing she made her way closer to the Dome, after ducking and dodging through the Tyntill natives, she would finally find herself within the dome's confines with her hands clutching the fabric of her backpack. Venturing inside she would find that there were few people wandering about. From the brochure she had assumed there would be such a large crowd that it would be near impossible for her to catch view of anything, of course, thinking about it now she assumed the weather is what made the Dome's regulars vanish into thin air.
Moving, she instantly, pressed her face against the glass to catch a better glimpse of the Water-types that swam elegantly through the man-made coral reef that was presented to them as home. "I wonder if they think of this as home," she mused to herself as she continued her trail through the Dome. Looking around at the displays she found herself acting like a kid in a candy store, zipping from one display to another watching the Pokemon (and non-Pokemon) dip and dive through the hidden passages that they made for themselves. A sigh of amazement left her lips, "Lake Luna sure is beautiful."
As the wind brushed through the few shrubs, and many cloths in the city, violet eyes stared up the tall skyscrapers as they reached up to the clouds. A smile was spread across her face as a look of awe was quite obvious. She was not new to the city, but she had never seen buildings quite as large as the ones the busy Tynntill Town had. This totally reminded her of growing up in the Kalos region, and even though that region would always be the best, in her opinion, Nue was definitely showing itself to be rather impressive so far.
The one regret she had, probably, was that she wished she was wearing a warmer outfit. She was wearing a rather cute outfit though, so she wasn't too annoyed by the cold. She wore a white, sleeveless shirt with some design on it, and a maroon skirt with some light fabric hanging off of it. The best choice she made was wearing matching flats. She thought that perhaps she should have worn a white cardigan or perhaps a scarf, since cities tend to be colder than their suburbs, but it was June so it wasn't that bad.
After all, the little Emolga cradled in her arms was just fine. Pearl was rather eager to jump out and fly around, but being a Flying-Type, she'd much rather avoid the cold. So she stayed snuggled up in Fawn's arms, the timid yet usually energetic Pokemon finding it better to stay in her Trainer's cozy arms than to fly around in the chilly air. The flying squirrel stared up at the buildings, more awestruck than Fawn was. Unlike Fawn, Pearl was rather new to cities, having been given to her not too long ago.
Fawn walked on as her cute little Electric-Type squirrel looked up each building that they passed by, slowly forming a smile at the huge monsters of architecture. As Fawn kept walking, she tried to wave a friendly greeting to anyone who would pass by, but it seemed like they were too busy to really pay attention to her. Typical city fever. Ironically so since this was actually a town, not a city. Whatever the case, she was only passing through, if not to catch more adorable Pokemon on the way out. That would totally be a bonus. Oh, and making new friends would be an extra bonus. A super bonus.
The young teen giggled at the potential of how much fun she was going to have here and almost started skipping, which would have totally made her look stupid (not that she'd care), until she noticed a rather beautiful body of water out in the horizon. The crystal blue waters reflected the beams of the sun, revealing a rather beautiful shine from the glistening waters. This must be Lake Luna. Fawn thought to herself. She was very much aware of the lake because her father would always talk about it when referring to this specific town in the Nue region. And for good reason too.
Her sister, Marina, was a water fanatic. She couldn't get enough of the stuff, and was quite literally the only way anyone could get her to be confident enough to do certain things. In fact, it's the core reason she went on a journey before Fawn. Approaching the waters and looking over the dock just enough to see her face reflect off of the water, the young teen could almost see the reflection of her giddy older sister, staring at the water as if her face was plastered to a glass box containing large amounts of candies and sweets. Those were definitely great memories.
She sighed, crouching down to a sitting position on the dock and dangling her feet over the edge. It wasn't hard for her to tell that she missed her sister dearly, and it wasn't for Pearl either. The Emolga never met Marina since she was given to Fawn after her sister left on her journey, but she still felt the sad emotions that came with their distance from each other. "Hey, Pearl?" Fawn asked, causing the concerned Emolga's ears to perk up, placing her attention on her Trainer. The teen turned her attention to the distant sky in a dreamy way, with a small smile formed on her face. "Do you think my sister misses me?" Pearl looked down at her tiny white feet, dangling over Fawn's legs, without so much as a squeak for a response.
However, she didn't need one. Fawn glanced over her shoulder and instantly beamed at the sight of the peculiarly shaped building. It was shaped like a bubble. That was so cute she couldn't even put words in her mouth to describe it. "Pearl, we're going on a field trip!" Pushing herself off her butt, she walked to the entrance of the facility, and entered looking at all the aquatic tanks. for whatever reason, perhaps because of how early it was, the aquarium was rather empty. At least the entrance of it was. The various aquatic creatures, both Pokemon and non Pokemon, all blissfully swam around in their larger than life tanks.
They seemed so peaceful that Fawn couldn't help but stare at them. The Pokemon didn't seem to mind that she approached the tank, though the normal fish weren't so friendly. Some of the Goldeen seemed to bump the glass with their faces at the place where Fawn placed her hand. The young teen giggled at how cute they were being and then her attention was brought from the Goldeen to something even cuter.
Out in the open, prancing around like an eager little child, was a pink and fluffy Cleffairy. It made cute little cries that just made her want to squeal it was so cute. Unable to contain her excitement, the young, way too friendly teen rushed to the Cleffairy's location, only noticing its Trainer a few moments before reaching her destination. Her target switched in an instant. "Hi there!" she casually introduced herself seemingly out of nowhere. Pearl, now feeling more cozy inside the warmer aquarium, slipped out of her Trainer's arms and glided a bit before landing near the Cleffairy, eagerly waving her three fingered paw with a friendly squeak.
"I couldn't help but notice that you and your adorable little Cleffairy was browsing around this establishment by yourselves," she continued, adding some fancy words to seem like she was more proper. Something about the girl's attire made her want to act that way. "My name's Fawn Dressler, and this is my friend, Pearl." Pearl paid no mind to her Trainer's introduction, and instead, kept her attention right on the Fairy-Type Pokemon. "So, what's your name?"
NOTES: couldn't put my whole team where the pokeballs were, so just remember I have Rocky the Sentret, and Angel the Butterfree as well. It would only let me put Pearl up there, so let's just pretend that the highlighted pokeballs represent my pokemon that are inside their pokeballs.
But anyway, I told you she'd be friendly, didn't I?

I WANT TO EMBRACE THIS SUMMER TIGHTLY
BECAUSE I'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE, ALWAYS

Even from a great distance she could hear the sound of approaching footsteps. From the corner of her eyes she could see the figure emerge from inside the Dome. It created two black masses that shook her to her very core, before it finally came into full view as a young girl about her height with an Emolga floating at her side. Swaying at here side, Titania noticed this as well; her brows raising in curiosity as the girl approached them, only for her to leap into the arms of her partner. Before she could turn around and speak the girl was already on her, greeting her with what Summer could only refer to as an overly friendly introduction. Frankly, it scared her, sending her stumbling back against the glass with Titania now pressed firmly against her frame.
"Uhm...hello..." was all that Summer could muster before she was cut off by the girl speaking again. Summer watched the girl with peaked curiosity. She found herself uncommonly interested in the girl whose name was referenced to an infant deer. "Fawn," she mused silently to herself as her eyes trailed down to the small Emolga that stood before her. It was so small, frail, like Titania who only stood a solid two inches taller than the creature. Mentally, she chuckled as she watched Titania wiggle from her grasp and inch closer to the Emolga, her eyes watching the beast with hesitation. Titania was known for being cautious around strangers and Pokemon alike, so it was only natural that she jumped back a little bit as soon as the electric squirrel moved closer towards her along with her trainer.
Looking at Fawn, Summer watched the girl with peaked curiosity. She watched the girls movements, tracking them down to a tee. Every facial expression, hand gesture, motion, nothing escaped Summer's watchful eyes. She had even come to notice that the girl was no longer watching her rather her interest had become entirely focused on Titania. Summer was used to this. As a species Clefairy were uncommon to come by due to their shyness around Humans, so it was only natural that people seemed to loose their heads whenever the small Fairy-type came into view. Seeing that the girl's attention was focused entirely on Titania, she took this time to turn her attention to Pearl.
She had never seen one up close before. Back on her farm in Bosky, she was only used to seeing the common Pachirusu scurrying around her yard and interacting with her and the much larger Pokemon that her family raised. Though being of the same species, she could only assume that the Emolga very rarely appeared because of the larger and scarier Pokemon. The only reason the Pachirusu actually showed up was because of her cousin owning one of his own. Enamored by the little creature's appearance, she pondered what it would be like to have one of her own. "An adorable flying rodent, that shoot beams of lighting. Isn't that cute!" she mused silently to herself before she looked back at Fawn who was now in a staring contest with Titania.
A quick breathe of nervousness was drawn before she spoke again.
"I'm Summer and this is Titania."
Forcing a smile along her face, she ushered for the little creature to introduce herself. Side stepping closer to Summer, Titania let out a small shrill cry all the while waving her hands at the Pokemon and her rather intimidating trainer. Crouching down, Summer found herself at eye level with the little squirrel. Waving at her, she instantly stood back up and locked eyes with Fawn.
The rather unsure girl's timid reactions went unnoticed to the young teen and her Emolga. Speaking of Pearl, the friendly creature flinched at each every tense motion the pink fluffy fairy made to avoid the squirrel. After all, Pearl wasn't the bravest Pokemon around, and she tended to try and avoid any and all signs of conflict. However, she was also too excited and curious to retreat, which was something the Cleffairy had very little of.
Even though the girl was keeping an eye on her, Fawn couldn't help but become engrossed by the pink fluff ball, forcing Pearl to change her attention from Cleffairy to the girl. The squirrel squeaked, pushing herself higher on the tip toes of her tiny white feet and waving her tiny hand in the air as high as she possibly could. When her attention was grabbed, the squirrel squeaked in happiness, sensing that the girl was interested in her. Giggling, the rodent jumped into the air and started gliding around the head of the soft spoken girl.
"So," Fawn began, suddenly feeling awkward from just staring at the cute, timid creature, needing to keep up a conversation. "How do you like your Trainer?" Being met with silence wasn't helping the awkwardness of the situation, so she decided that it would be a good idea to have a staring contest with her. At least, that's what she thought the Cleffairy was doing anyway. Fawn seemed unable to notice the poor creatures nervousness as she found herself having too much fun with this game. It seemed as though Fawn was so intense that it forced the puffball to keep those lids wide open. Wow, she's really good. thought the struggling teen, who found it hard to keep her eyes open.
Then, to the young teen's dismay, she was forced to blink out of the pure face that her eyes seemed to have lost too much moisture. "Aw!" the girl pouted as she rubbed her eyes feeling sorry that she lost the game. "You're way too good at this game, Cleffairy." With that, the teen pushed herself up on her feet, moving her attention back to the other human, who seemed ready to introduce herself. "Summer?" Fawn echoed the words, thinking for a bit before nodding, seeming to feel a bit of a muse. "Yes, that's a good name you've got there. Summer is one of my favorite seasons, second only to Spring. Although Spring wouldn't be a very good name, but Summer is a really pretty name." She grinned at the end of her sentence while grabbing the soft spoken girl's hand and starting to shake it only to be met with awkwardness again.
She soon realized something else: she was probably talking way too much. "Sorry," the young doe apologized in a way that sort of nodded at the fact that she was probably used to the word. "I was talking too much, wasn't I? It's okay if you tell me that, cause I'm, like, totally used to that." She waved her hand at the word totally, before noticing that the girl had asked a question. "Oh, hm? Why am I here?" she echoed again trying to make sure she understood what Summer said.
"Oh, well, I came to the Nue region from my home region, Kalos." Here we go. "So my sister, Marina, really loves Water Pokemon. I mean really loves them. And she loves water and lakes and oceans, and basically anything that has to do with water. So I encouraged her to go on a Pokemon journey because she really was feeling sad about my mom passing, so I was all casual and stuff, and said, "Hey, you know, you can totally get water Pokemon if you go on a journey and stuff. So she went, but then I started feeling lonely, so my dad got me this great Emolga. Wink wink, it's Pearl." Fawn pointed at Pearl, who waved more casually this time.
"So after getting Pearl," she went on. "I decided to go on my own journey to become a Pokemon Coordinator, cause I really like cute Pokemon and I really like to make things pretty and stuff. I'm still only trying out the whole Coordinator thing, though. I might not end up staying a Coordinator. Anyway, I decided to check out this town cause I heard it was full of really big skyscrapers, and they were right. Then I decided to check out the lake, and then I saw this cute looking aquarium so I entered it. Then I saw this cute, beady eyed pink Pokemon so I decided to take a look, and then I met this girl named Summer and here we are!"
Poor Summer had to sit through the whole story of Fawn's choice of going on a journey even though only a fraction of what the girl said was actually what Summer wanted to know. At the same time though, it sure wouldn't be easy for the girl to get annoyed with a face that could smile as wide as she could. Then she crossed her arms over her chest and grinned expectantly. "So what brings you here?" she copped out, mimicking the same question Summer asked.
Meanwhile, Pearl seemed happy to see the once shy Cleffairy wave at her and started gliding again before noticing that the fairy couldn't fly. So instead, the playful rodent landed on all fours and wagged her peculiarly shaped tail in the air, standing up and waving her paws around, encouraging the pink puff ball to play with her before running on all fours a few inches, looking back expectantly to the fairy.

She had never heard someone talk, so much in such a short period of time. Having come from Bosky, yes, she was used to hearing people talk for insane amounts of time. People were like family there so it was anything but abnormal hearing someone talk about their lives openly to other people while sitting on the porch for long hours, but never had it been at the rate this girl was speaking. Halfway through, someone would've stopped and made a few comments, but this kid just wasn't letting up. She didn't even stop to breathe. For Summer it was like watching a movie in fast-forward mode without taking a pause or rest in between scenes.
Summer had always been a shy and reserved girl, and it is because of this that she was generally an outcast among Bosky. She was never one to speak so openly and freely without being handed the mental permission to do so, however, despite her own lack of speaking so freely, she didn't mind Fawn's long and drawn out story as to why she entered the Bubble Dome. Personally, she found it rather interesting to learn so much about one person in such a small amount of time. Normally it takes a large amount of time for Summer to even get to know the very basics about someone, let alone how they obtained their first Pokemon, but with Fawn she had learned all that without even having to inquire.
"That's quite a long and interesting story. I always wanted to be a coordinator like my cousin, but unfortunately I don't really have the talent for it. I think you'll be great at it."
Placing her hand on her hip, suddenly her mind went blank.
"Why am I here?"
Summer mused the words silently to herself. For the life of her she truly couldn't remember why she actually entered Tyntill Town, considering that she had been in Bayonda for such an extended period of time, only leaving once those nasty thunderstorms came drawing in. She had only been around to witness one storm before she packed her things and ran for the hills, but to come to Tyntill was beyond her. The town had never been one of her top places to go, and frankly, she wanted to go to Shui City more than anything; but their lack of allowing Fairy-type Pokemon prohibited her entry less she decided to sneak the little Pokemon inside.
Finally, shaking her head she looked back at Fawn and offered a smile. "I came here to see the Dome of course. My aunt never allowed us to come here when we were younger, so now that I've gotten the chance I might as well take advantage of it." Looking around, she eyed the Water-types that were swimming in their man made Caribbean, watching as some were hiding behind the rocks and some were pressing their faces against the glass causing her to smile. "Well, would you like to join me and Titania? It would be nice to have some company."
Peering down she saw that Titania was finally easing up and making some attempt to interact with Pearl. There was no moonlight here, so she was unable to glide alongside Pearl, instead she waited for the creature to come down to the ground. The Fairy-type grinned at this and began chasing the small, electric rodent just as soon as she began running. Her stubby legs prevented her from moving extremely fast but she was just fast enough to keep some distance behind Pearl.
The two girls stood in a bit of awkward silence, though the smile on Fawn's face would beg to differ. The young teen waited patiently as the other girl tried to ponder her reasons. She was used to people like this girl. No, she liked people like this girl. Summer, in many respects that Fawn could tell so far, seemed to be a lot like her sister. Fawn had always been the social one of the sisterly duo, so of course, it became a skill of hers to wait for responses. Fawn almost encouraged someone to be patient with her, but then she remembered that they were the only two talking to each other, and Fawn was being patient.
"You weren't allowed to go into the aquarium?" she repeated the girl's words back to her. "Why not? This place seems so cool, not to mention really cute." She referred to the bubble shape of the building. "Oh, right. That's another reason why I came here." Reserving that a little bit, Fawn decided to end it there. She simply let out a bit of a smirk, giving the impression that perhaps she would have done the exact same thing.
"Of course we would like to go with you. Right?" Her attention was brought to her own Emolga, who was much too preoccupied with her new friend. "Yep. I know her so well." Fawn placed her hands on her hips, nodding as if she knew exactly what she was talking about. But even though she may have known her Pokemon for an hour or two. So, she didn't know how Pearl felt about most situations.
Pearl squealed at Titania's willingness to play with her, and tried to keep her pace even with the Cleffairy. Running on all fours didn't bring her to her fastest speed, but with a little more Training, even on all fours she could probably well out speed the chubby legged fairy. Pearl was a squirrel after all. Suddenly the Emolga noticed that the floor was getting rather slippery and landed on her belly, slowly losing speed as she slid. Once the Electric-Flying Squirrel stopped, she couldn't help but giggle at how fun that was and started pushing herself with her tail across the slippery floor, giggling all the way.
As the playful little Emolga played on the floor, Fawn stuck her face on the glass that encased the Pokemon and was life or death for the fish. A Marill stuck its little mousy face on the glass, trying hard to grab Summer's attention while a Corsola curiously stared at the Pokemon playing with each other. Pearl stopped sliding around, and feeling sorry for the Corsola, wondered if it wanted to play with them too. However, the moment she stopped the coral Pokemon went on its way. So the Emolga shrugged as she continued to push herself across the floor, squeaking at the Cleffairy to let her know that she was having tons of fun sliding around, and that she should join her.

She was like a mime. Constantly repeating everything Summer said as if she was mocking her in a playful matter, or maybe she was doing it to get a better understand to what Summer was trying to convey. Either way, Summer couldn't help but find herself at a slight annoyance for but a moment. Her brow raised and she took in a small, quick, unheard breathe as she pondered how to respond to Fawn. Unlike her, she was not an open girl and found it rather uneasy to discuss her past and the deprivations that came with it; however it come to be obvious that her aunt was the reason why she was deprived of many experiences. Growing up, Summer never knew why her aunt was so closed minded on many topics and so open on others, although Summer assumed it was simply how she was raised prior to Summer's birth. Her uncle was no better neither since he always agreed with his loving wife despite not always wanting to side with her.
By the time she came of age, she realized her uncle's willingness to agree with his wife was out of fear of being beaten in the head should he disagree. He had told her once that her aunt was a scary woman when she was angry with him, and frankly, Summer wouldn't put it past him.
"My aunt just never let us come to Tynntill Town, we were always too busy on the farm."
Watching Fawn's eyes trail down to her Emolga, Summer followed by lead and watched as Titania interacted with the little Pokemon. Summer had known Titania since the creature was born so she found it curious how comfortable the little queen in training was with Pearl. In any other situation, Titania acted more so as a mother rather than a toddler. She rarely enjoyed playing games less it was with Summer, and when it came to stranger Pokemon she was always cautious and it generally took a long period of time before she accepted the creature as a friend. But in this case, Titania was obviously comfortable enough to chase the Electric-type around as she slid across the Dome's floor.
Paying no more mind to Titania she turned her attention back to Fawn who was now pressed against the glass. She looked like an infant seeing the world for the first time. Though Summer had little experience at going to public places, she was accustomed to watching little children press their faces against the glass in the same manner as she had done minutes prior, but there was something about Fawn that made it more childlike. More...cute. Her eyes took note of the Marill that desperately begged for her attention. Moving closer towards it, the Water-type released a stream of bubbles before swimming back behind the man-made reefs that it called home. The mouse would look back for a split second then proceed back to her home.
Smiling, Summer looked back at Fawn.
"Have you ever wondered what it would be like, to be a Pokemon?"
Fawn's sudden squee caused the sliding Emolga to lose focus for a moment as she was headed straight for a wall. Luckily for her and everyone else, Pearl managed to make a sharp turn along side a wall at the very last second. Crisis averted. "You lived on a farm?!" she asked, clasping her two hands together. "That's so awesome! I've always loved the city, but I've also always wanted to see what it was like at a farm. What's it like?" Fawn's eyes grew as her violet eyes glowed with curiosity. She wanted to know everything. She wanted to know what kind of animals lived their, what they were used for, what kind of foods they grew. Perhaps part of the problem why Fawn couldn't make her decision for a career choice was because she loved so many things.
Pearl continued sliding around before remembering Titania. The Emolga was having a lot of fun, but she wanted to play with the Cleffairy. It wasn't quite as fun playing by yourself. However, just when she was going to try and figure out how to stop, her face planted on a hard pillar, her face pretty much sticking to the stone surface. pushing her face away from the pillar, the Emolga sat up and placed paws around her bruised forehead. Her poor black eyes suddenly glazed with sadness as tears began to form in her cute little eyes. She tried to fight back the tears, not wanting to cry in front of her new friend, but the best she could do was suppress full blown screams to soft whimpers, covering her eyes with her curled up paws.
Fawn pushed her face off of the glass, her gaze following the movement of the adorable little water mouse. Its cute little swimming motions and bubble blowing underwater, and staring at Summer in curiosity. Fawn had some trouble containing her excitement, having to hold her breath to keep herself from screaming in sheer excitement. The teen adored cute Pokemon of all shapes and sizes, but she obviously thought some Pokemon was cuter than others. In her opinion, obviously Pearl and her Pokemon are the cutest, but she still couldn't help but smile at a cute Pokemon.
"Are you kidding?!" Fawn responded, swiftly turning her attention to the other teen. "Who doesn't? I've always wondered what it was like to be a cute, fluffy Pokemon! You have too, right? What kind of Pokemon have you wanted to be like?"

I WANT TO EMBRACE THIS SUMMER TIGHTLY
BECAUSE I'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE, ALWAYS

It had never dawned on her what kind of Pokemon she wanted to be; for obvious reasons being that there are plethora of Pokemon and as such so many to choose from. Looking down she pondered what it would be like to be Titania, a small innocent Fairy-type that hailed from the galaxy but then again being a mysterious Dark-type like Robin could also be rather enjoyable. A Water-type swimming through the oceans like a mermaid with a scales that reflected against the sun as she swam into the shallow waters. A Fire-type, scorching the grasses and anything that dared to try and cross her. Or maybe even a docile Grass-type that hide beneath the shrubs and forest. These ideas chased each other and through it all Summer continued to press her face against the glass until she finally turned to Fawn, a smile delicately planted on her face.
"If given the choice. Milotic..." She had chosen this creature for several reasons. Since she was but a child she had heard stories of her mother having a Milotic of her own; apparently the two were as close as she and Titania. Her aunt told her stories of how the two had won battle after battle with little no effort. She vaguely remembered the picture her aunt showed her of the two standing side by side; Milotic's tail glittering in the sunlight, strengthening her beauty as she stood alongside her mother who appeared almost god-like with the pink curls that dropped down to here waist and a face that appeared to be made of porcelain. She had grown to admire the serpent as it was the closest thing to her mother and she only assumed that being such a heavenly creature would bring her closer to the mother she never knew.
Shaking the thoughts from her mind she turned back to look at the coral reefs, admiring the beauty that illuminated from golden bars. She then turned to Fawn and raised her brow slightly. "Fawn, you never told me which Pokemon you would want to be."
Fawn's eyes expanded to the point where the full size of her eyes were almost visible. "Oh, so it's that kind of question. A Milotic, huh?" she sighed dreamily. That was a gorgeous Pokemon. She was almost certain that her sister wanted to at least see one. Milotic was more of a beautiful Pokemon than a cute one, but she supposed she considered her own Butterfree Angel to be more beautiful than cute as well. And was Angel cute? Adorable according to Fawn. The young teen didn't feel the need to ask her new acquaintance why since it seemed way too obvious. Being able to swim to the deepest part of the waters with scales as pretty as a mermaid. "It's easy to see why you'd want to be a Milotic."
The only thing that would make Fawn not want to be either a Milotic or a Butterfree was one stage each had to take for their evolution. For Milotic it was Feebas, and for Butterfree it was Metapod. She would much rather be a Metapod than a Feebas, but it still wasn't very appealing to be a Metapod in her thoughts. Besides, there were much cuter, much fluffier Pokemon than the two of those, though she did find Angel irreplaceable. This was definite a question that needed to have some thought put into it. No doubt, when she made her decision, Fawn would have a lot to talk about.
Meanwhile, Pearl was hiccuping some of her sobs, trying her very hardest to keep herself from crying after that hard bump on her noggin. The young Emolga uncovered her eyes and tried to drain out any sad emotions by sighing over and over again, but her cry baby nature made it hard to find the self control in her to keep from crying more. Pearl squeaked a sad apology to Titania before sadly walking over to her Trainer, ears low and tail dragging, and tugged on her Trainer's fabric from her shirt that her stubby arm could just barely reach.
However, the poor thing was simply ignored as Fawn was deep in thought, so the now depressed Emolga sat on the ground, covering her belly with her arms. Pearl didn't feel like playing anymore from such a bad boo boo, but she still wanted to be friends with Titania. The Emolga was sad that her sad emotions seemed to ruin that, but she didn't think that the Cleffairy would take it too badly. Her strangely shaped tail was flat on the ground as she sadly waited for her oblivious Trainer to respond to her plea of attention.
Fawn, realizing that she had yet to answer Summer's question, struggled to find the perfect answer when an image came to mind. In order for a Pokemon to be cute, it needed to be small, have an appealing face, be cuddly, and have an appealing final evolution. "Well, I'd be an Eevee." The perfect choice! Of course, she'd pick Emolga and Furret too, but Eevee was such a perfect Pokemon for her to pick, Fawn couldn't resist. The cute and fluffy face and endearing voice was one factor. She couldn't get enough of the little puppy when watching TV. Perhaps the most important factor were the evolutions she could choose from. If she had a choice, she'd easily pick to evolve into Glaceon,
"Think of how cute an Eevee would be! I've always wanted an Eevee. Course, I wanted to be an Emolga or a Sentret too, but-" Suddenly Fawn's long banter was interrupted by the shrill cry of the flying rodent who had had enough of waiting her Fawn's attention. At that moment, Fawn tensed up and froze realizing the intensity of her mistake. "Uh oh..." Fawn seemed to squeak as the poor Emolga grabbed the cloth and kept yanking at her skirt desperately trying to get her human to pay attention to her. "Uh, it's okay!" Fawn tried to calm her down by scooping up the Emolga, and only then did the little rodent stop crying and pointed at her injury on her forehead.
"Oh, that is one nasty bump," Fawn agreed, gently rubbing her first Pokemon's head. "Do you want to start walking now? Pearl's little tantrum may seem bad, but she'll calm down in a few seconds and start playing with Titania again." Fawn nuzzled her face into Pearl's face. "She just got a little boo boo on her head." She baby talked her Emolga, who seemed very pleased by the attention from her squeaking.
