POKEMON
SPECIES: Emolga
ALIAS: Pearl
GENDER: Female
ABILITY: Static
PERSONALITY: Pearl is Fawn's go to Pokemon, and is almost never seen away from her Trainer. She has high amounts of energy, so it was never a good idea to try and keep her in a ball. She much prefers to glide around and see the sights than stay trapped in a ball all day. On top of that, she's also very nosy and likes to eaves drop on conversations with her large ears. She's a rather timid Pokemon, and isn't always eager for a battle. She is rather insecure when she's away from her Trainer, and can be a bit of a cry baby at times. But with some encouragement, this loyal partner always pulls through in the end.

SPECIES: Sentret

GENDER: Male
GENDER: Male
ABILITY: Keen Eye
PERSONALITY: Spoiled and lazy is this guy's middle name. It takes a lot to get Rocky motivated to do anything he doesn't want to. His favorite thing to do is curl up and nap all day, completely going against the typical Sentret behavior. Despite this, Rocky loves a good fight. He's more than willing to push himself up on his tail to make himself look as intimidating as possible, though even still, he'd probably not reach a very high scale in comparison to most Pokemon. He's still new to the whole battling thing, and can often times get into trouble from his impulsiveness. He also isn't one that enjoys the glamour of contests very much.

PERSONALITY: You think the name's a cliche? Well, it's not. This gal really is an angel, and don't you forget it. Angel has to be one of the sweetest Butterfree out there, and has taken to a motherly role in Do's group of Pokemon. Her wings are big and perfect for protecting those she cares about. Of course, she can also come across as rather nagging, as she's without a doubt the most obedient Pokemon Doe has. She'll scold other Pokemon for not obeying their Trainer which will often get her on their bad side. She'll take on a fight without fear, but despite her motherly nature, once a fight is started with her, she isn't one to stop it.

APPEARANCE
Fawn has rosy pink hair that is usually worn down without any accessories. However, at the same time, it hangs over her shoulders as if it's tied in pig tails somewhat. She has light purple eyes and light skin. Narrowing down her outfits to just one is too much of a chore for her. She could be seen in many different outfits, but her hair is rarely changed. She stands at 5.2 feet and weighs 105 lbs.
PERSONALITY
Fawn is a young teen brimming with confidence and independence, and she can even come across as rather rebellious at times. She likes to do things her way, or hit the highway, telling people how it is and isn't afraid of the consequences. If sugar and spice is part of the ingredients of little girls, than her older sister Marina has definitely always been sugar while Fawn was the spice. The things that come out of her mouth isn't always thought all the way through, but she also isn't afraid of hurting anyone's feelings, especially if they struck a nerve she didn't appreciate very much.
Fawn is also a complete flirt, and will use her cuteness as a tools to get people to give her what she wants. Specifically boys. She has a knack for reading people and can tell how intelligent they are, and plays with it a lot. It's hard for her to take things seriously and finds it a lot better to treat everything like a game. She's a prankster, and isn't above causing a bit of trouble. So much so that she isn't new to the concept of being grounded.
Fawn is a social butterfly, a trait that differs greatly from her older sister. She is very friendly and willing to make friends with just about anyone. At the same time, however, her ability to read people also makes her prone to becoming suspicious of those with qualities she doesn't appreciate. For instance, she dislikes those whom she feels has a dislike for Marina if they don't have a good enough reason to back it up. Which nothing would ever be a good enough reason to back up disliking Marina, not in Fawn's book.
Despite her overall bolder personality, Fawn thinks her other sister is the queen of the world and has always thought of her as such. Her personality differs greatly from Marina's, so it is only natural that they fight a lot, but Fawn thinks the world of her sister. All of her family members, actually, but her sister has a special place in her heart. After all, she was the one to encourage Marina to take her relationship with Pokemon to the next level.
Her relationship with her Pokemon is a sacred one. She hadn't always adored them the way she does now, but the moment she met Pokemon of her own she was hooked. She has a soft spot for the cute Pokemon particularly, but she doesn't know of any Pokemon she's ever disliked for a long time. Now a days it is quite the opposite, since she does everything possible to meet all of their needs. For some of them, she kind of spoils them despite herself. After all, who could ever deny the face of an adorable Emolga?
Never the less, she doesn't let them get away with everything. Her Pokemon are still well behaved despite this, and for the most part, quite loyal and obedient. That being said, she isn't the best Trainer. She talks a lot bigger than she can carry out, and despite her honest nature, she's less than eager to admit her short comings. At times she can come across as a sore loser in battle when she's either lost too many of them, or had a bad day.
She can come across as being self centered at times, and can be quite manipulative despite her standards. Though very positive, she can jump to very disastrous conclusions in which logic can do next to nothing to change her mind. She can get into a state of total depression, often burying herself in a state of utter pity. When this happens, she'll try to point the blame on someone else, and will do anything in her power to make them hurt: person or Pokemon.
Ambitions: Being a rather young teen, the best Fawn can say about her goals at the moment is to become the best she could possibly be. She wishes to help her Pokemon reach their full potential in health, beauty, power, and whatever they wish. I suppose her ambition for now would be to find where she fits in the world, because honestly she can't tell yet. She wants to branch out from her older sister's goal, which isn't as easy as she'd thought it would be considering the fact that the only thing that concerns Marina is Water Pokemon. She picked the Coordinating class because she likes making Pokemon look pretty.
HISTORY
Alright, so long time ago, before Fawn or her sister were born, their mother Aeliana lost her first daughter to her psycho ex-husband. Despite all their efforts, each search for them bared no fruit, but the authorities assured the heart broken mother that they would be able to find her one way or another. Unfortunately that request wasn't ever meant to be seen through as eventually the authorities were force to put this missing person's case to a close, despite feeling sorry for the woman.
However, life was meant to go on for Aeliana the day she met her second love, Clark. Timing couldn't be better for these two since Aeliana had been in quite the depression because to the past circumstance. Luckily the two of them were able to find it in themselves to really make their new found friendship bloom into something majestic and beautiful.
Jump a few years later and her sister Marina was born, and since it just seemed that the world was so empty with just the one, the couple had to have another child. This of course was Fawn, and what a delight she was. After all, there had to be some kind of contrast with her sister's unnaturally reclusive life style. Her independence preceded her, and would often bring tears to her mother's eyes because she would enter a daycare facility and school with very little fuss.
On top of that, starting at the age of ten, her relationship with her parents were strained at best. Fawn hated being told what to do, and she wasn't one that stayed the straight and narrow very well. She and her mother would clash more than anyone else, and she would often say things that typical moody teenagers would say, but was decent enough to apologize about it later.
This typical teen behavior eventually turned into a tragedy. When Doe was twelve years old, their mother got really sick, but she tried to brave through the illness for her girls. It took several months for anyone to notice how bad it had gotten, and Fawn was having one bad day after another, and naturally took out all her frustration on her mother. Pretty soon Fawn just completely blocked her mother out, refusing to speak to her despite her mother's yearning. The tragedy came so suddenly that no one knew what to think when it happened.
Aeliana tried to make her last conversation with Doe as pleasant as possible, but her youngest daughter wasn't aware that it would be their last. Her mouth was sealed shut, despite knowing that Aeliana was right at the edge of her death. She came across as rather uncaring at this time, but Fawn honestly didn't believe that her mother was going to die, so she didn't want to treat the situation like a goodbye. Aeliana spoke to her in a loving way, knowing that Fawn would later beat herself up for how horribly she treated her mom on her final days, but it didn't seem like the teen was interested.
The day Aeliana died was a complete mess. Perhaps the one to take it the hardest was her sister, Marina. However, it took Fawn longer to get over despite not being affected quite as much. The teen refused to accept the fact that Aeliana was dead. That simply wasn't an option for her, not after the last time they spent together. Eventually it consumed her so much that she started lashing out at her father, her sister, just about anyone who would even bring it up. This was the pivotal point that caused her to dislike Pokemon when all anyone could talk about was how great they were when her mother was dead.
It wasn't until she looked right at the stone that made up her mother's grave that she finally accepted her death, and it wasn't a pretty sight. Most people who came across it just tried to avoid her, and perhaps it would have been better to just leave her to calm down alone. However, there was someone there to help her pick up the pieces. Her father. From this day forward, he was her rock. It wasn't until now that she truly felt like she needed one. Until now, Fawn always thought she could handle anything life threw at her herself, but this was too much to bare on her own.
It took a little while for her to completely heal up, but once she could bring herself to truly smile again, she mended all the relationships she broke from her outbursts, especially her sister. To help the two of them mend from their grief, the Dressler family moved into a lovely house near the shores of Cyllage City. This city had a feature for all of them to enjoy. Clark like the architecture of the city, Marina loved the water, and Fawn loved to talk to the people that lived there.
This was where he relationship with Pokemon was mended. Her new friends talked about how great companions Pokemon were and how they helped with people who grieved. She remembered her father's attempts on trying to get Marina to get into Pokemon Training, and reasoned that perhaps he was trying to help her through the grieving process. Not to mention that it would help her get out more. Keeping that in mind, Fawn was the one who reminded her of Water-Type Pokemon, pulling at her heart strings knowing that water was her one weakness.
So she was given two Pokemon: a Clauncher and a Pancham. Fawn was okay with not getting one because the ones that Marina got weren't cute enough. Sure, Pancham was fluffy, but not that cute. Never the less, their father didn't want to leave her out so she got a Pokemon of her own. Wrapped in a cute little bow was the cutest little Emolga Fawn had ever seen in her entire life! She cuddled it and loved it until it shocked her to a burnt crisp.
Yeah, Fawn and Pearl didn't get off to a great start, but it didn't take long for them to become great friends. Soon after, the duo met what Fawn considered her second Starter: a rather rough and tough Sentret who seemed too cool for his fur. It took a little more to win him over, and he didn't really have a lot of respect for humans. He decided to stick around with Fawn because he felt that a couple of girls needed a body guard, not that he would be a very good one.
Last but not least, Fawn met her third, yes third, Starter Angel the Butterfree. Ironically enough, Angel met Fawn while she and Pearl were visiting her mother's grave. For whatever reason, the Butterfree felt obligated to comfort the poor soul even though Fawn wasn't the least bit upset at this point. Once it started raining, the Butterfree decided to stick around by sitting on fawn's head and spreading her large, waterproof wings over both of them.
Some time later, after spending a good month at home without her sister, Fawn found herself missing Marina dearly. She soon came across a strange competition on tv of a girl using her Pokemon in a rather beautiful way, much unlike your traditional Pokemon battle. Intrigued by all of the cute and beautiful Pokemon, Fawn decided that, at least for a little while, she would try her hand at being a Pokemon Coordinator. As if reading her mind, Clark approved her decision before she even asked him, and assured her that he would be fine on his own. With a brief goodbye, and a short time gathering all her needed junk, Fawn and her father went their separate ways. The Dressler family was then officially completely separated.
OTHER INFORMATION
Due to her flirtatious nature, Fawn can be considered a tad bit boy crazy. Whenever she sees a cute boy, she can't stop thinking about him or shut up about him, and it can lead to a bit of an obsession. Her favorite food is ice cream sandwiches, but she hates coconuts. She also has a secret fear of fire. Not Fire-Type Pokemon, just fire. She doesn't know how it happened, or why it scares her so badly, but she can't stand being near fire. At the same time, though, she loves cute Fire-Type Pokemon and will stare at them for hours. However, if you get a not-so-cute one around her, well, let's just say that is meant for one funny scenario.
Also, her knack for reading people has nothing to do with being a psychic or an aura person. It's not necessarily a sixth sense either. It's more of a skill she picked up from engrossing herself in a social life-style. She likes to talk a lot, and after a while she learned to read people by their actions. She's still young, so this skill is far from perfect. In fact, most of the time she gets her information wrong, especially when she's biased about the person to begin with. However, it's worth it to her because it's a lot of fun when she's right.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
RP Sample:The teen was awoken by another sound of a woman crying. Letting out a loud yawn, Helen could tell that some time had passed since she had been hit by that strange song before realizing what she was doing before. She remembered battling Skitty, and then throwing a Pokeball. Since it appeared that Helen herself sustained nothing more than a few grass stains, it appeared as though she was successful in her endeavors. But, to her own surprise, the Pokeball that Skitty was caught in was there! Not only that, but as far as Helen could tell, Celosia was gone too. "Celosia?!" she called out in a more frantic manner than she meant to. Running away from the spot, she started looking around ignoring the singes on the grass caused by Celosia's ember attacks.
Her pace became increasingly faster and more desperate, looking in every nook and cranny that her eyes could find. "Celosia! Come on now, this isn't funny!" Helen was now becoming increasingly fearful, unsure what had happened to the only Pokemon that she could mentally consider a friend. Even though she figured that thanks to that funny sense that Pokemon have, Celosia probably knew that, but that didn't help make her feel guilty for the way she had been treating the Cyndaquil up until now. "Come on, Celosia, say something!" The fear seemed to cause a fearful squeeze on her heart that really wouldn't help her already weak opinion on Pokemon. Helen could only imagine the face on her mother's face as she walked out the door just having told her and her father that she was going to go off on a journey to become a coordinator with her Starter Pokemon. Not only did her mother abandon her, but Celosia must have done the same.
The sad squeeze in her insides seem to change in intensity until it boiled over to it's highest point of hatred. Tears began to form in her eyes until she heard the ever increasing sobs. Suddenly, the voice behind the sobs became all too familiar to her, and lo and behold was an all too familiar face holding her Cyndaquil and Skitty in her arms. Not again... Helen sighed out more than she intended from a rush of relief that filled her insides. Celosia was taken from her spot by a crazy bride who needed more comfort. "Um, you know, I was right next to her and Skitty, right?" Helen called out, causing the woman to flinch and nod. "So you took my Pokemon, and left me there sleeping..."
The woman looked around herself nervously avoiding eye contact with Helen. "Well, I thought they would help me with my problems. Pokemon are really good listeners after all." She looked down at her Glaceon that was laying its head on her lap. "Glaceon couldn't very well handle my problems on its own." she admitted solemnly. Celosia was clearly still under the influence of the song, and the poor expression on Skitty's face made Helen feel like he was all alone in the universe. The two of them needed a good dose of Pokemon Center, not this. This woman wasn't very considerate of the needs of other people, was she? Well, Helen would understand that, since this was supposed to be her wedding day, but this lady pretty much kidnapped her Pokemon and almost gave her a mental breakdown.
Helen sighed in a much more irratated manner, tugging both cat and mouse out of her arms, and sitting next to the desperate woman with a sigh. Look, I know you're upset and everything, but my relationship with Pokemon are kind of strained. This Cyndaquil and Skitty are my Pokemon, and I'd really like to keep them from getting themselves into strange situations. If you do this again, I will report you for stealing. Okay?" Helen emphasized the okay to make sure she had the woman's attention. However, the bride only seemed to nod in a dismissive way. If anything, Helen was convinced that if this chick wanted to do again, she would without any regret. "Okay," Helen sighed, trying to cut the girl some slack and give her the benefit of the doubt. "Let's just say that you really are upset. Then why didn't you ask me for help like before?"
"Because you were sleeping like a rock," the woman whined. "I didn't want to drag you all the way here, and besides," she paused, trying to avoid Helen's eye contact again. Helen arched an eyebrow, emphasizing that she wanted to hear what else she had to say. "You're kind of not very... approachable." Helen glared in a way that told the woman to continue, but to be very careful about what she said. Of course, the lady continued, but she hardly heeded the warning. "Well, it's just you're kind of harsh, and that's okay and all. I mean, after all, I can be pretty harsh too, but what I can't handle is that you're kinda... gross." Both human girls seemed to have a blank expression that made reading what they thought very hard. That could only meant that their thoughts were very extreme.
It was at least for Helen. She had half the thought of getting up and leaving the woman in her troubles, but her standards of decency told her that it would be wrong for her to do something so cruel. So, despite her mind screaming to her to leave the brat alone in her misery, she somehow kept herself seated and began talking. After all, this wasn't the hardest thing she ever had to go through. Already, losing to another brat with a Staryu was much harder. "Okay, so can we please get this whole thing resolved? Not only is my precious time getting wasted, but you'll be wasting the efforts of a family trying to give you a best night ever. Do you really want that?"
"I don't care if they're upset!" the woman whined in a self centered way.
Helen's eyes scrunched in irritation. This woman was really getting more on her nerves than she originally thought. The teen didn't know if he couldn't tell at first or what, but she really started to dislike this woman now. "I really hate to ask this," Helen sighed under her breath, trying to be careful that she wasn't heard. "But why?"
The woman tried wiping away her tears, and Helen knew that they were in for quite a ride. "Well, this is supposed to be my day, right?" Helen bobbed her head with great reluctance. "And yet all they're worried about are they're problems. I mean, my gosh! No one cares about me anymore!" The woman kept babbling on about how the world should revolve around her and how she deserved everything that she asked for the moment she asked for it. It was so grating to hear, that Helen pretty much tuned her out. Of course, this didn't catch the woman's attention right away since she seemed to love to hear herself talk. However, she did notice that the conversation was going unnoticed when she saw the teen's attention wandering away from her heedless words. "Are you even paying attention to what I'm saying?!" the woman barked, only earning an eye roll from the teen.
Growling, the woman draw back her arm, and forced the palm of her had to make contact with the teen's face, jarring it to the side. "Hey!" Helen barked, causing Skitty to start hissing, and moving the teen's attention to the brat. At first, the bride was shocked that she even did that, or it seemed that way, but then she smiled noticing that she was getting the attention she wanted. "What was that for?! That really hurt..." Helen's tolerance threshold for this woman was becoming rather thin, and now it was at the point where it was almost non-existent. "Do you even want my help?"
The woman's smirk formed back into an intense glare at Helen's rough tone. "Why you simpleton!" the woman scolded as if she was royalty, which Helen highly doubted she was. "Why would someone of my stature need the assistance from a rat's nest like you?" That was a solid strike two, according to Helen. Sure, she didn't care about her appearance too much, but that didn't mean that people can just throw her down whenever they wished. The teen adjusted her bandanna with one hand while cradling the two Pokemon in her other hand. Skitty continued to glare at the woman, and Celosia was still sleeping like hard magma. "You can get as angry as you like, but deep down you know everything I say is the truth."
Helen clasped both arms around her Pokemon, rolling her eyes once again at the woman's cruel remark. "Well, I may be a 'simpleton', and a 'rat's nest' according to you," the teen retorted. "But if you talk to everyone like the way you are now on a regular basis, then at least I'm not considered whatever scum of the earth you are." Of course, this bride took every word said to her personally, and wouldn't be forgiving even if people don't mean what they say in a bad way. Since she took it that way, her death glare pierced right into Helen's brown eyes, only to be reflected by Helen's own hate filled glance. "Oh, don't worry. I'm sure some people like that sort of person, but only the ones that are just like you. I sure hope that's your husband."
"My hubby's the best one ever." the woman insisted, with almost a child like brag. "He's sweet, and generous, and kind, and he says that I'm the same way because I told him that. He eats up everything I say, so I know he's the one."
"Just because you make him agree to everything you say, doesn't make it true." Helen stood up and began walking to the other direction. "If anything, it means that you're a self righteous brat." She stopped for a brief moment, turning back to the bride, as she seemed to have remembered something. "Oh, and by the way, if you could please be so kind as to give me back my Skitty's Pokeball, please?"
The woman clenched her teeth, looking around her surroundings as she felt her impatience boil to it's impurest form. Then, in her shady way, a dark smirk slowly formed on her face. "Who said you caught it?" she challenged, earning a threatening hiss from the kitten. "Let me say it in another way," she back tracked, realizing that she wouldn't be able to get away with that lie. "Who says you deserve the cat, rat's nest?"
"Well, I deserve this cat more than you do," Helen argued, making a dangerous step towards her foe. "If I didn't, I wouldn't have been able to catch it."
The woman paced around with a less than pleasant smile on her face, snickering at Helen's honest naivety. "Simply catching the Pokemon doesn't matter," the woman sighed out in her laughter. "You have to be privileged enough to get whatever you want. Allow me to demonstrate. I want your kitty, and I'm going to do whatever I can to get it." Her gaze fell on the two Pokemon in Helen's arms. "And since you pretty much have another valuable Pokemon gift wrapped for me-"
"No, to both those things."
"Then you don't get your Pokeball back, Rat!" The woman took out the Pokeball and started playing around with it, teasingly at the teen. "So, either way, I'd be able to walk away with at least one of your Pokemon." Helen looked down at the kitten, who seemed to be on the urge of attacking the girl's face, while Celosia was still fast asleep. This made Helen wonder why she was able to wake up and not the Cyndaquil. She'd have to ask her Pokedex, or Major later.
"Skitty doesn't even like you." Helen tried to reason, letting her know an obvious fact in Skitty's preferences. "What makes you want him so badly if your face is just gonna end up all jacked up?"
The woman seemed appalled at the statement at first, and didn't seem able to come up with a logical answer. "It doesn't matter what the cat wants!" she barked back. "I want that Skitty, so I'm going to have it! Glaceon, make that rat's nest give me her Skitty now!" However, as loyal as the Glaceon had seemed to be before, the Ice-Type seemed very displeased with the woman's attitude. It was almost as if the Pokemon was truly seeing her for the first time. "What are you waiting for?" the woman reasoned. "Get that cat!" Glaceon got up, walked in a circle, and lied back down. The woman groaned before taking out the ball and pointing it at the kitten. "Doesn't matter. I can still make it return in its Pokeball, and since I have it, that makes Skitty mine!"
However, before the woman was able to press any sort of button to do any such thing, a male voice called out to her. "Amethyst!" a voice in a sweet southern drawl called out. "What in tar-nation are ya doin' out here?" The Glaceon seemed to perk up at the man's voice, and trotted over happily to him. He patted the canine Pokemon on the head, indicating the Helen that this was his Pokemon, not hers. "Is there somethin' goin' on here that we need to talk about? Our folks are all waitin' for y'all to come on back so we can git married."
Amethyst seemed to straighten up, all dignified as if she were royalty. "That brat won't give me what I asked for." she said, earning a confused stare from her fiance, and an eye roll from everyone else, including Glaceon. "All I wanted was that Skitty, and she said no! I have his Pokeball, so I deserve that Skitty!" Amethyst pointed a long, slender finger at the creature that she wanted, but all the man could do was shake his head at her embarrassing behavior.
"Look, Gem," he spoke gently using his nickname for her. "Ah've been noticin' a real change in you for a while now. Ah haven't noticed it before, but y'all are starting to sound a bit more immature than I thought ya were. I married ya cause I thought we were ready, but Ah don't think ya'll are. And if you aren't, then maybe Ah'm not either. Maybe we should just take a break."
As he began to walk away, Amethyst stood there speechless, earning a rather disappointed glare from the Glaceon that had once seemed so loyal to her, but was now rather unimpressed by her actions. "Wait, are you breaking up with me?" the woman asked, earning no response from her once fiance. Then, grabbing the rim of her dress, and chucking the Pokeball at Helen's face, Amethyst started chasing after the man and his icy blue canine. "I am mature! I am ready for marriage, and you are too! Please come back, I can be more mature, really I can!" As the woman's childish whines began to fade in the distance, Helen sighed in relief that that nightmare had finally come to an end.
But in the end, Helen had to admit that it wasn't so bad. After all, even though she didn't catch a Grass-Type like she originally wanted to, she still caught what might turn out to be a really useful Pokemon. A move that causes Pokemon of the opposite gender to get too frozen to fight? A move that causes them to fall asleep? She was almost certain she could use something like that against one of Elnora's Pokemon. All she needed to do was learn how to use him in the right way, as well as Celosia. Then maybe her little duo could begin to form an unnstoppable team. Though, she still needed to catch a grass Pokemon, she felt like the growth of Helen's team was off to a nice and steady start!
Helen glanced down at her Pokemon, forming a disappointed pout as she noticed that Celosia was still asleep after the battle. Helen had a lot of questions to ask her dex after she took a little break from all of this chaos. "What do you think Skitty?" After saying that, Helen realized that she hadn't thought of a decent name for her new Pokemon yet. She didn't want to get out classed by Elnora again for not thinking of an appropriate name for her kitten Pokemon. "I'll call you Joseph," Helen said out of nowhere, seemingly. "Jose, for short. What do think of that, Jose?" However, the kitten Pokemon wasn't looking so good.
