Andrea explained that she could refer him to other breeders. He was pleased to see that she was so willing to assist him. She inquired about his current team.

He replied, "I've got a weavile, a bisharp, and a drapion. I'd be willing to train anything that works well with them."

In response, she asked him for his own contact information. He pulled out a scrap of paper, and a pen from his coat. He wrote down his number, and looked it over. Finally, he looked up and smiled a little as he handed it to Andrea. He could not remember the last time he had exchanged contact information with a girl.

She went on, and sheepishly asked whether Tobias had any further plans for the day.

"No, not at all," he replied, "I ended up here because I've been wandering around with nothing to do. I only just moved to Tynntill. I don't even really know the city yet."

Tobias took a moment and thought about what he was doing. In almost no time at all, he had made a complete stranger into a contact. Contrary to the usual, he and Andrea seemed to have gotten off on good terms. This sort of connection was very unlike Tobias. He considered that perhaps his journey so far had begun to change his approach to other people.

“Alright, give me a bit, let me get that down,” she began, reaching for her phone before flipping it open and quickly punching in the names of the Pokémon that Tobias currently had on-hand. She then noticed that one of what he had was also in her care—namely, the Weavile. Once Andrea had taken the contact card from Tobias and looked it over before pocketing it, she then looked up again, and was relieved that she wasn’t interrupting anything too pressing for her companion.

“I have a Weavile myself, but she’s rather temperamental,” she began, finally brushing off the grass that had stuck to her clothes before checking herself over in order to make sure she still looked presentable. “I don’t know why she’s so… disobedient though. Is it normal for them to act that way?” she inquired, picking up and following her male companion.

“You want a tour around the place?” she offered his way, since he’d mentioned that he’d only moved to the city in question and was still probably feeling lost, one way or another.

Tobias was intrigued to hear that Andrea also owned a weavile. Nash, his own, was his first pokemon. They had traveled to Nue together from Unova. She went on, and explained that her weavile displays some behavioral issues. She asked him if disobedience was typical of the species.

"No, not at all," he replied, "I've never had any problem like that with my weavile. All of my pokemon so far have been cooperative."

She went on, and offered to give Tobias a tour of the city. He paused for a moment, caught completely off-guard by the question. Ordinarily, he would brush such a thing off, and decline. However, he was starting to like Andrea. He respected her as a trainer, and after learning that she also owns a weavile, he felt a sort of connection with her. The two of them clearly had common interests. Furthermore, since arriving in Nue, Tobias has not had much with which to occupy his time. Today's agenda was something along the lines of wandering around the neighborhood.

He decided. Not only did he recognized that it would be in his best interest to get to know Andrea, but he actually wanted to.

He replied, "Yeah, that sounds great."
