Seeing as Josh had seemingly found a Key Stone (she could only chuckle in the back of her mind) she then called his attention by whistling in his direction. “Look at it this way. You can hang on to it, or sell it off when the time comes. At least you found something of considerable value, you know,” she cracked, before walking forward, still carrying the armload of sweet-smelling roses. It didn’t take too long for her to find something, however—and that something hit the ground with a rather loud, echoing smashing noise.
The brittle shattering that cut through the silence was an inkling that she didn’t get anything good; so instead of looking at it, she then picked up the pace and then moved on; hoping for the best that lay in the inky blackness ahead of her.
I know he found something, I know he found something… alright, don’t hope for too much… she thought to herself as she then continued to plunge deeper into the inky blackness; actually skirting ahead of Josh and Fawkes’ helpful illumination going on in the corridor. Don’t expect too much, don’t expect too much. I repeat: do not expect too much on this last shot in the dark… she chastised herself as she began to walk faster, faster than she’d ever go; hoping that something good would come out of this little stab at the dark she’d be taking.

Apparently, Izumi’s last little plunge into the Ruins was going to end on a rather flat, if not extremely sour, note. As she continued deeper into the place, trying to scan the area ahead that was partially covered in shadow, she then began to sigh—as if she’d already seen something that was the absolute worst. “Well, I bombed, big time,” she began sometime later, before finally kicking something into the flickering light that was being cast by the Charizard behind her. As the clattering noise came to a stop, it was the dreaded thing—the one thing that nobody ever wanted to bring home.
“Bleh. This is just… well, I suck,” she continued, pondering on whether or not to destroy the thing and wait for the next month to roll in. “In any case, I’m out. How about you? Shall we get going…” she asked, still glowering at the ugly piece of who-knew-where-it-came-from and how-the-hell-it-had-gotten-there in the first place. “My luck has abandoned me completely,” she ended with a sigh as she then took another whiff of the armload of roses before sighing and turning around, and bearing out of the Ruins.
