elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.
EPOCH is PG-13. Proboards’ Terms of Service:
Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.
Collecting baby Pokémon wasn’t exactly something Jessy wanted to make a habit. Not being much of a trainer, and only picking up her first couple out of a sort of empathy / sympathy situation, building up a small army wasn’t really what she wanted to do. Yet, here she was, wandering across a farm with a slip of printed paper in her hand describe two Pokémon that she was interested in at least seeing. Although, as she began to unfold the paper, she’d pause mid-step to find that there was a notable number of dots that had been hidden away in her folded up print out. Blinking a couple of times, it took a moment before she let out a sigh and small smile at that sight, knowing exactly who had slipped her the money and what that meant. Glancing up at the main building of the farm, Jessy slowly pocketed the money before stepping up to enter.
Giving a curious scan of the place, she smiled at the first person she saw and gave a little skip with a jolly “Excuse me?” The person turned to her curiously and with flourish she unfolded the ads for the egg and Pokémon she’d come for. “I’ve come to see your Honedge egg and the Shuppet your farm’s got? I’ll take ‘em off your hands if you still got ‘em” she informed with a warm smile and slight shrug. Lucy gave her that money for a reason and she could only figure that this was it.

It was getting rather late and all Axel wanted to do was crawl into his bed and sleep for the rest of the night. He wasn't even hungry, though he was sure that he hadn't eaten since lunch. He just had two breedings to do, and they would finish off his night. His mother had called it a night quite a few hours before, and with the clock ticking closer and closer to midnight, Axel found that he really needed to get to work before he passed out.
Dragging himself into the first breeding room, holding two Pokeballs. He released an Arbok that he was borrowing from one of his affiliates and the farm's Bidoof. The two didn't seem to hate each other this far, and Axel left them in the room with some coaxing and encouraging words.
As he wandered out of one room and into another one, he came face to face with a very familiar Liepard. "Hello, Nyx," he greeted sweetly, crouching down to pet the friendly Pokemon as she trotted up and pressed against him. He chuckled warmly, "It's good to see you too. Now, you be nice, alright?" he asked softly. Nyx perked up and then sat down, her tail waving slowly in affirmation. Nodding, he released an Electrike, letting the male Pokemon pause before Nyx, looking a little nervous.
"You two be nice!" he noted as he slipped out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Axel rubbed at his face, trying to wake himself up. He'd been up so late the night before that he'd hardly gotten any sleep. Before he'd gone to bed, he'd checked his mail and found that he'd already gotten two breeding requests for the next morning. Setting his alarm this early was the very reason he wasn't truly awake yet. His mom, thankfully, was already awake and bustling around in the kitchen. Right as he passed the door, she popped out, handing him a cup of coffee, some romantic mushrooms, and three Pokeballs.
Smiling at her, he flushed when she leaned up and kissed his temple in a morning greeting before going back to her cooking. Axel stared down into his coffee, his body screaming for him to just drink it in one single gulp. He was tempted. Shuffling back to the breeding rooms, he opened the first door to find his female Nidoran already sitting in the middle of the room. Setting his coffee down, he moved to sit with her for just a little bit, "G'morning, Natalia."
The Nidoran placed herself in his lap, giving sleepy yawns and affectionate noises while Axel pet the top of her head. "Are you ready to make a new friend?" he asked her gently, getting an excited squeak in return. Axel released the male Litleo, watching it trot around playfully, trying to get the Nidoran's attention. When she started to slowly wander toward him, Axel took his chance and slipped out of the room, grabbing his coffee on the way.
The other two Pokeballs he was holding held unknown Pokemon. He really didn't know what he was breeding yet. Stepping into the second breeding room, he released a really beautiful golden Vulpix and... an Eevee! He'd been wanting to breed one of these for a long time! The two Pokemon already seemed to know each other, greeting one another with friendly chirps and trotting around the room, playing a game of tag.
Axel smirked to himself, feeling like everything would go alright as he slowly stepped back and out of the room. He was already starting to wake up and his day was looking just that much brighter.

Okay. Maybe things weren't going to go as well as he thought they would today. Not long after he left the Litleo and Nidoran alone to do their business, he went to check on them. Of course they would be sitting on opposite sides of the room and refusing to play with one another. Axel rubbed at his face again, thankful that his mother had stocked them with romantic mushrooms. He moved back to his office and obtained one before wandering back and breaking the item apart. He gave one half to one of the Pokemon and the other to the other Pokemon.
Hoping that maybe that there would be great success this time, he slowly left the room to go and check on his other breeding pair. What did he find? An egg! Well this was nice. At least one of his pairings had done well this morning. Happy with himself suddenly, he removed the egg from the room and replaced the Pokemon back into their Pokeballs, moving off to tell his client the great news.

[attr="class","axelscroll"]Axel hadn't pictured his perfect morning like this. When he'd gone bed to the night before, he'd expected everything to be easy and simple the next morning. Of course, catching a little pink blob that liked to transform into everything it saw probably wasn't the most simple of tasks. However, Axel was triumphant, and after a little coaxing to his Rotom, he got the two Pokemon into one of the breeding rooms, shutting the door quickly before either of them could get the idea to escape.
He then went on to rush and urge his Skiddo and Phanpy into another breeding room, suddenly brought to the ground to be cuddled by both of the Pokemon. Lola and Julian already got along very well and they stuck around one another almost constantly. That's hot he'd gotten the idea that they would be a perfect breeding pair. Now if only they would let him up off the floor.
When he finally got out of the room, he looked down at himself, a little grossed out by his state. "I'm going for a shower!" he called to his mom as he ran between the buildings into his house. Hopefully everything went well while he was gone.

While not used to paying the "Rare Tax" for breedings, Josh supposed that was just how these ranches made their money. Regardless, the blonde would pop into the farm via motorcycle, coming in to check on his Rotom Egg after he had been informed that the tax money had been transferred from his account. He would find the egg on the counter, with the note addressed to him for picking it up. Along with it were a couple of Pokeballs, for Pokemon that Josh had ordered from Axel some time back. The blonde would nod, checking inside the Pokeballs to ensure that everything was in order before getting out his chequebook.
"Think I'm going to have to leave a cheque for this one, that's quite the hefty order" Josh would remark to himself as he would write a cheque for 130 Dots, taping it to the counter and placing each Pokeball into his bag, as well as the egg in it's carrying case meant for it.
[attr="class","axelscroll"]Axel was rushing around today. He had some place to be and still had to complete his breedings for the day. Valentine's day was a really big pain in the butt, wasn't it? He was carrying four Pokeballs with him, releasing two Pokemon into each breeding room. The first two were an Ampharos and a Flaaffy, while the second pair was a Dewgong and a Spheal. Hopefully they got along well enough with each other because Axel really didn't have the time to play matchmaker. The auction was starting soon and he really needed to leave.
He walked out of the second room and looked up at the time. "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit," he started cursing, pulling on all of his snow gear. His mother walked out of the kitchen, shooing him.
"I've got everything set here. You go have fun, Axel! I'll make sure all of the Pokemon behave!"

It didn't take too long to find the place. The only thing that took time was actually entering the facility and getting the eggs she desired. There was an actual line - actual customers - and it was raking coals across her patience to fetch the younglings. --- Claiming 1 Mareep egg, 1 Spheal egg.
