elcome Adventurer to EPOCH! A Pokemon Sandbox Rp set in the original region of Nue. Everything you need to know will be in the Guidebook and PokeDex 101!
EPOCH uses the Manga and is built on the Original ideas suggested by our members.
We are more than just a Pokemon RP, we're a friendly community with a goal on being a memorable experience for those that look in.
Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated. If you find yourself content with being an asshole EPOCH and its members will not tolerate you.
RULES
Understand We're All Human. Respect the staffers as well as your fellow members and guests. We all have flaws, tempers and quirks. Be patient with one another, but if issues involving other members come up please don’t just grin and bear it. Contact a staff member, informing them of what's going on so they can address and resolve the situation. The staff won't know what's bothering you unless you tell them.

Sex; When you get under the clothes, fade to black.
Violence; Do not go into extreme nauseating detail.
Cursing; This is so fucking allowed, but don't go overboard.
Suggestive Content; In avatars, signatures and templates can attract the wrong kind of attention. So be careful.

"I'm not sure what's going on" he said, letting out a sigh. It was odd, how could the Pokemon be behaving this way? Something was bothering them, he knew it... And it ate at him like crazy. He wanted to go out and help them somehow, but he knew that if he approached one, they'd just attack him and he'd have to fight to defend himself.
"I wonder how long this has been going on?" he asked, looking over at Izumi as he dug. He would then look over at his Marshtomp, who seemed to be staring out blankly at where the Sandshrew had been. Josh put his shovel down and sighed, discarding the piece of junk he had just found. He put a hand on Dunamus's shoulder. "Hey there, buddy, are you alright?" he asked. "You must be worried about the Pokemon here... I don't blame ya" he said quietly.
Suddenly, Dunamus was engulfed in a bright light. "Wha-?!" Josh let out, in utter shock. "Pika?" Lightning let out, looking over. In front of their very own eyes, the Marshtomp began to transform... It's body became bigger, more menacing.. Finally, the light faded and Josh saw what had happened... Dunamus had evolved into Swampert!
"Whoaaa, you evolved into Swampert!" Josh said, patting the Swampert on the head. "Swampert!" he let out.

Was there something in the air at the Badlands—because for some reason, the moment that Josh had placed a hand down on his Marshtomp’s shoulder, a bright light suddenly poured out of it—that made her stop and just…stare at what was going on. “Josh. What did you do…” she began, blinking and staring as she suddenly recognized the Marshtomp being Dunamus, the weird-ass creeper that had totally made her shake while he was still a Mudkip—suddenly evolved into something that she already had one of, that being Kei. “What in the world…” she continued, stopping to watch just what had happened; and taking note of his earlier comment about the ‘mons going wild and just flat-out attacking them instead of just standing idly by. As the lights show faded, she recognized the figure—and boy, was there a personality change around Dunamus, or what? She then blinked and then let out a round of applause—well, the best that one individual could do at the moment.
“Nice one, Josh. You’re catching up to me, eh? Guess it’s time I worked harder for my entire horde…” she began, picking up the shovel after marveling the Swampert for a few seconds; and returning to the dig. After some time had passed, she looked down—and saw that there was another miscolored slab peeking out at her. Interestingly, this one had a rather… circular design to it, and she then crouched down and slipped on her work gloves, brushing away the dirt as fast as she could manage. Soon, it was revealed that she’d stumbled on another fossil—and then hefted it out of the ground. The Grotle and Lucario had stopped digging and were now just watching her, and then blinked at the sight. “Well… this is interesting. Hey, Josh, you want this one?” she said, stabbing the shovel into the ground and walking over to him, showing him the Helix Fossil. “Trade you whatever you get from there,” she added, gesturing down at the spot where he was currently still digging.

Josh would let the Swampert have his rest as he would continue digging. To Izumi's words, he would look over at her. "Hm?" he asked, eying her as she walked over and showing him the fossil. He smirked a bit. "Sounds like a trade" he said, before he heard that ungodly sound. The sound of hitting junk. He let out a groan as he pulled out the bone. He shook his head as he picked up the bone and held it up to the sun.
".... Maybe it's a Cuboneinite?" he cracked, looking it over. "Fuck, I'm sorry..." He said, realizing they were out of time and scratching his head. "If you don't want to trade now, that's alright. That's a lot more valuable then this piece of junk" he said, frowning. He let out a sigh. Why was his Badlands luck so bad lately? He couldn't seem to dig up a damn thing anymore.
