“Well, is it my fault to assume that most of the Pokémon I know are usually in their ‘normal’ coloration—my Combusken and black lightning Electivire aside—but then again, I must have missed the memo. My bad,” she countered, after hearing his chuckling at her reaction about his…oddly-colored Dragonite. The affirmative roar that came afterwards didn’t hurt, too. She then blinked and watched as he brought out his own… collection of Eevees; even if he only had two, at least one of them was already fully-evolved. “I hate you,” she mouthed in his direction before slowly sinking to the grass and letting all five of her Eevees hop off in order to interact with the two—well, one Eevee and something that was dark-skinned that she didn’t recognize.
Thankfully, the one he’d called “Bruce” had chirruped out his… species name, of sorts, when he appeared, she then gave Bruce a knowing look, before her face broke out into a grin “Let me guess, J. You named your Umbreon after a certain caped crusader?” she inquired, hoping that she was right on the mark. “I actually have a confession to tell you,” she continued, watching the crowd of Eevees interact, staring and outright asking the Umbreon a lot of questions in their language—which was all cute mewling, to be honest. “…I’m thinking of attempting to be an Eevee specialist. It’s slow going, though. I think one of them has expressed interest in evolving soon. Now that they’ve seen your Bruce…” she trailed off, before her own “herd” of Eevee approached her and began mewling plaintively in her direction.
Chuckling, she then crouched down and gave all of them an appreciative pat on the head. “I know, I know. Soon. Very soon, you’ll get your chance. I just… have to name all of you first so I don’t get mixed up. Okay?” she said, and all the assembled Eevees let out what sounded to be a jubilant cry.

Josh smirked faintly. "Yeah... Too bad we don't have Pokedexes, huh? That'd fix that problem easily. Problem is, what Professor in their right mind would give a Pokedex to two well-travelled crazy people that see new Pokemon on a regular basis?" He joked cheekily.
He couldn't help but laugh when she mouthed the recognized words. "Why hate me?" He mouthed back. "I only have two. You have an army. And Scotty was from one of your eggs" he added. He chuckled at her question and nodded. "You bet" he said. "I name them based off what Eeveelution seems to best reflect their personality, and then I choose from there" he explained.
He smirked at the mewing Eevees. "Eevee specialist, huh?" He said. "I also have a confession to make, but I'll tell you over dinner sometime maybe" he teased. Of course, Josh would tell her later. No need to mention something that big in passing, right?

“I don’t know. I mean, I’ve been in contact with one of the Professors over in Kalos, and there’s this one in Kanto that you recommended to me, I’ll be going over to his place eventually to get a fossil checked out, but… well, let’s just keep going about our usual business, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” she said with a knowing quip, before looking over to where the Eevees were now congregating. Over at where the little bonfire was going, every single one of her Pokémon, along with their guests, were now tucking into the crate of fruits. She could see that some of the others that she’d left in Kouji’s care were flourishing; in fact she caught sight of a Galvantula sneaking up and snatching a few of the apples. She knew that the Joltik was hers, but Kouji had somehow raised it so that Lei would evolve—and smirked to herself because he’d chosen to keep the nickname instead of changing it.
Now that she was looking at the little herd of Eevees again, she then blinked once he’d mentioned that Scotty was related to two of the horde. “Wait, he is? I never knew,” she said, backtracking to that particular sentence and blinking—and then seeing that there were three Eevee who had somehow detached themselves from the group and were now rolling all over each other. “Guess he is. Also, what’s Scotty going to be, if you don’t mind my asking…?” she continued, before a certain Eevee of hers then made its way back to her and was begging to be picked up. “Oh, come here…” she continued, before scooping up the Eevee that was mewling at her feet. “This one… is Akari. Well, she’s the only one who I’ve decided to name so far, but otherwise… I hope you grow up into something fierce and fabulous, Akari,” she continued, cuddling the cute little thing in her hands.

He chuckled a bit. "Do let me know if you ever find a way" he cracked with a small smile. He nodded, looking over at the conclave of Pokemon before nodding again to her question. "I got the egg from you" he reminded her. His gaze turned to Scotty rolling aroun with a few other Eevee. He smiled a bit to Izumi cuddling and holding and canoodling her one named Eevee and couldn't help but laugh. He almost wished he had a few more Eevees of his own, admitted. I mean, you can never have too many Eevees, right? Right?
"Scotty?" He asked, to her question. "Jolteon" he responded with a smirk. "Fits him perfectly" he would add with a chuckle. The energetic and lightning-quick personality of that particular Eevee fit the name "Scotty" with ease. He just hoped he could find another blasted Thunder Stone when the time came for it.

“Jolteon? Heh, we’ll see. I don’t know about my entire…bunch. We’ll see once things get going—which is also a note to myself to get these cutie pies all trained up. I don’t know what’ll happen, but I hope that things start going their way… and I really need to give them names so I don’t get them mixed up…” she trailed off, before continuing to cuddle the female Eevee (as far as she could tell, her mewling wasn’t as rough-sounding as the others) before letting Akari wiggle out of her perch and then jumped to rejoin the others who were now playing a rather…expansive game of tag.
This then brought her to another topic of discussion—it was something she’d wanted to avoid for the longest time, but it was going to be inevitable—she had to bring it up with him, before everything started changing and they all had to move out to that new place. “Well, Josh… there’s been word of a new region being discovered, and that they’re looking for people to move in. I don’t know if you’re moving, but Kouji’s been literally pulled there because they need experienced Breeders to teach all the others over there. And since I can’t talk him out of moving, without losing this entire place, I’m also moving with him. Who knows? The people over there might appreciate the Lavaridge Chocolate Surprise…” she added, wondering how he’d take this little quandary she’d tossed his way.

He smirked faintly, and nodded. "Aye, Jolteon fits Scotty perfectly. See how energetic and lightning-like he is? Why wouldn't I evolve him into Jolteon?" He suggested with a laugh. "Yeah... I'd name them if I were you. You got a bunch of firecrackers with no names. Why not name them based off the evolution that suits them?" He would suggest once again. "That's what I'm doing anyway, as I said. He looked down and watched as the other Eevees would either play with the Umbreon, or roll around with Scotty.
Josh would nod a bit when she was talking about moving to Nue. "Oh really?" He said. "Funny thing, I'm moving to Nue as well, if that's the one you're talking about. We're moving the ranch over, because there's a massive expanse of terrain and many more Pokemon to see. My mom can't resist. I can't resist. So... We're moving operations over there" He revealed. "Guess I'll see you there then?"

“Not just a bunch… a whole load of them have no names. The Birds and the Eevees were a case in point—I have to name them as soon as I can. Sometimes, though, I just come up with their names on the spot, because it just happens. Like what happened with my Beldum, I came up with its name while I was out on the lam—err, I mean out on a trip training other individuals,” she began, before realizing that she sounded really sheepish again. Note to self: sound more confident, girl, she mused to herself as she then looked up at his rather… surprising pronouncement. “You—you’re also moving to that new place, too?” she began, blinking, and shaking her head just to make sure she’d heard right the first time.
She’d even stuck a finger into her ear just to check if it was clogged up; and she’d heard it clear as day. “So you’re also moving over there? Well, crap, I can’t have all of these guys in cold storage. They got used to the open now. How am I going to break it to them…” she trailed off, looking at the assembled Pokémon who were now full, or otherwise about to get so stuffed they couldn’t eat another bite. “What do you think about my entire horde? There’s still a few more out here… but I guess meeting the entire team all over again in Nue would be a high order for the both of us… right?” she added with a grin, before seeing that most of her ‘mons were now so full they couldn’t move; and they just all ended up passing out where they stood, literally stuffed with fruit and berries.
“Yeah, guess I’ll see you there too. I have to start convincing my mother about moving there… she’s quite adamant about staying in one place and just being there until she passes on…” she trailed off a few moments later, before chuckling and then leaving all of the slumbering ‘mons where they were; while some of the younger ones were so exhausted from playing, they’d just decided to flop over and sleep where they lay. “Come on, let’s leave ‘em alone… they need their beauty sleep,” she stage-whispered, before gesturing to him and his ‘mons.
