Angel was a bit busy with her confusing, hard to name feelings to even spend too much time thinking about the explanation Kouji had given to their confusing little mix-up on the route. She was feeling very light though, she knew that much. It was just.. it felt really nice to be doing something fun with Kouji. She felt a little silly for bugging him about him scaring her, being scared was the point right?
She was surprised when he held her back. "Is everything okay?" She was hearing a bit of what he was hearing, a strange noise she couldn't quite place. It helped that she didn't know all the Pokemon ever, and even though she had met a Shellder a long time ago she still hadn't quite placed the sound.
She was a little more concerned with the way he was acting, looking a little.. strange. Upset even. "Is someth-.." she started, responding the stuff he had told her about not hearing anything, before interrupted with his scooping her up!
All at once her heart started to beat so very fast. She was being.. why was he carrying her!? Her face turned such a violent shade of red and her cheeks felt so very warm. "K-Kouji.." she started, having trouble finding the words. "T-This is like how a princess is carried or.. or.. a.." she started, refusing to say it. She had seen pictures of ladies who had just gotten married being carried like this too. Was she a bride now!? No.. of course not! Still.. was this kinda how it felt even a teeny bit?!
She felt her heart start beating even quicker, wondering why he started carrying her like this. She couldn't help but say.. "I kinda like it Kouji. B-But you should ask first! Okay?"

As he sprinted away from the sounds of battle—he knew that his Gallade could handle himself—he didn’t stop until he was certain that they’d reached a place where they could rest. Now that all of the adrenaline had drained out of him—he looked down and saw that his companion was now a very violent shade of red. As for her question, he chose to answer them in order—at least from how he’d remembered she’d asked them. “For starters, everything’s going to be alright. Just ran into something… that’s the stuff of nightmares. Good thing my Gallade held it off,” he began, before realizing that she was still that same color from earlier. “Hey Angel,” he continued, suddenly veering into his concerned mode, “…are you okay? You’re flushed all over!” he said, quickly setting her down gently onto the ground before touching her forehead with the back of his hand. “Hmm…”
Well, for starters she’d not flaring up… what’s causing her to turn red like a beet… he thought as he then gently touched her neck; before looking right at her again. As for the rest of what she’d said, he then chuckled, before continuing quite sheepishly, “Well, the situation was dire—I couldn’t think of any other way to carry you. We had to get out of there, and—oh look, he’s here,” he trailed off, looking over his shoulder and seeing that his trusty Gallade had caught up to them, raising a bladed “arm” in welcome. “You took care of it?” he asked the Psychic/Fighting type, to which he nodded—but he looked quite scuffled up. “Heh, thanks for stalling back there. You can stay with us now,” he continued, before giving the Gallade a salute to match its own. Now that Angel was back on the ground, he then scratched his head sheepishly, before continuing from where he’d dropped off earlier, “Sorry I wasn’t able to ask you. We just… had to get out of there before something bad happened to either of us. But a-at least… we’re both okay, right?”
He then gave her a reassuring smile; before ruffling her hair. “Don’t worry. I’ll make sure to ask again, just in case we run into something dire. Uhhh… can you check if the flash light’s working?” he asked, hoping to be able to steer away the topic from what had happened earlier! Even if his Magcargo was now circling around them and giving them a feeble light so that they could at least be able to see each other, it just wasn’t enough—they needed to get the flash light working!
I think this post makes up for not posting for a few days. Angel confirmed for having a sweet little crush on Kouji. Also I didn't know if the flashlight should be working again oops.
Angel sure was experiencing some strange feelings, feelings she didn't really understand. When he set her down, she felt.. disappointed. She kinda liked being carried around, but it was completely new. It wasn't a feeling of like, fun she was missing. It was something else. She felt excited, but in a completely new way to her that was throwing her for a loop.
Then she felt his hand press lightly on her forehead and it didn't help her flushed look at all. Her heart starting beating so fast.. he was being so nice. Kouji was always so nice to her.. and he always was looking out for her.
Hm.., when she thought about him, her heart felt so nice. It was beating so hard, but in a way that felt so warm and she just wanted to smile.
~Kouji..♥~
She was finally broken from her inward sighs of girlish infatuation when he started taking again. Suddenly Angel's voice was ringing with concern. "Nightmares? Did you see something scary Kouji?" Despite being such a childish young lady, there was suddenly a certain.. motherly tone to her voice. Not fear for whatever Kouji had seen, but concern for him the same way he had shown concern for him. She even stretched out her hands and said. "Are you okay? Do you want a hug?"
There was an innocent sort of sweetness to her actions, one could imagine this was the Angel that her childhood dolls, or her pampered baby Pokemon Ribbon saw. It was a rare sight only because she was a bit dense, and didn't normally imagine other people's feelings as complexly as she could. However Kouji was suddenly heavily on Angel's mind, and she was more aware of his unique status as a different person then usual.
However right after she offered the hug, the Gallade showed up. The Pokemon had such a strong and cool aura when it came back, although it looked like it had been doing something rough! It was obvious that although she really didn't understand what had happened that Gallade had helped them! That was so nice of him! "Thank you so much Mr. Knight." she said, smiling at the Pokemon. She didn't put much thought in the way that she called him Mister, but it was very likely that because he was a taller humanoid shaped Pokemon it was easier to see him as an older male.
After thanking him, she listened to Kouji speak some more.. her words making her a little bashful again. "I mean.." she looked a little off to the side, but her eyes kept coming back to him. She ran a bit of her hair through her fingers, twirling it a little. "If it's important.. I mean.. you have my permission now I guess.." she giggled a little. She didn't know why. She just felt so many butterflies in her stomach. Why?
She started shaking the flashlight again at his command, trying to spring the life from it. She had sort of given up on it though, figuring it must have run out of all it's batteries.
4 spaces forward and a curse befalls ye. One of you begins to see someone, or something, following you - but it isn't really there. This lasts 3 posts.

“Oh, it’s nothing… someone your age shouldn’t be dealing with the ugly things yet, at least not until you get a little bigger,” he began, ruffling her hair again. I don’t want to flat-out tell her that there was a Victreebel-possessed Shellder back there, so… yeah, kind of shocking. Plus I think this is the first one of those weird “freaks” we’ve come across… asides from me brushing up against that weird pumpkin-like creature who turned me into a ghost… he mused to himself as he then watched her interaction with his Gallade. In return, the Gallade then sank into the best bow that he could manage in Angel’s direction, before brushing off the concern and standing upright once more—if he could take care of his bumbling, crazy master, then it wouldn’t matter if he’d take care of anyone that he was close to.
After all, that was what Rymi’s role was; he served as Kouji’s “main” line of defense when it came to sticky situations. Now that they’d continued to walk forward (rather than run) the hectic atmosphere from earlier was now dissolving; and was now replaced with a disconcerting sense of quiet. Looking around, he then saw that the flash light (that was in her hands) was still out of commission—and even his Magcargo could only produce a feeble light that allowed them to see as far as four, five steps ahead—at least he would know if they’d run into any booby traps. He then looked down at Angel again, before silently nodding—at least he could just scoop her up and make a mad dash for it—after all, he did have the longer legs and the faster running speed! “Are you still red in the face?” he asked a few moments later, looking down and trying to gauge how she was feeling at the moment.
This is silly but.. I thought I already responded. I had a completely different post already all written up once, I swear. Honestly I feel like the first post was better, I hope this one isn't too disappointing.
She nodded the best her little heart could let her. "Yeah, I'm okay. Pinky swear." she said. She felt just fine! She felt excited and energetic all of a sudden actually, even though she didn't really know why. Her mind had been pondering it for a while.. maybe it really was true that haunted houses and being scared was kinda fun? She certainly thought that quite possibly, just maybe this was even true. At least.. being scared with Kouji was pretty fun.
Angel smiled as her heart felt aglow with the happiness of being protected by such a really nice friend. She felt her hands press against her chest, her heart was beating but it felt nice too. She wondered again.. is this what it's like to be fun being scared?
This opinion started to change very quickly when.. out of the corner of her eye she swore she saw something. No. "Kouji! It's them! I think I saw a Cofagrigus! T-T-They aren't going to hurt us right? They are just pretend right?" He wouldn't know this, but ever since a run in with a large group of them in a cave.. she had been sort of afraid of Pokemon. Just a little bit. She had always seen Pokemon as this perfectly fun and perfectly safe thing, but running into Pokemon that really wanted to hurt her had been very scary for her. So when the opportunity to present something uniquely scary for her, there was nothing a little more chilling.
Those red and glowing menacing eyes. She swore she saw them again, turning around fast. "Over there!" she would try in vain to shake her flashlight, but nothing at all. The light that the nice sluggy was making wasn't enough either! She made a whimpering noise.. obviously thoroughly spooked. Haunted houses were really frightening! They shouldn't have Cofagrigus' just pop in and out like that.. every step they took it felt like they were following them too. This was no fair..
It really was just the game though right? They wouldn't hurt her right?

Kouji could only blink as Angel’s reaction changed from one of relief; to one that resembled seeing a certain white-clad individual rise out of a certain well to crawl out of a certain television—but as he looked at the spot that she was indicating, he didn’t see anything. Not jack squat. “A-are you sure there’s something there?” he began, a bit curious as to what she could see—but really wasn’t there. He then squinted as best as he could at the spot, and had to blink several times just to make sure he was seeing things correctly; but saw nothing. Well, sometimes I wish I could see things that normally other people can’t, so I’d be able to confirm this, but I can only see visions of the…future… he thought with this furrowed look crossing his face, coming to a stop in order to contemplate what terrors were waiting for them up ahead. The Magcargo had come to a stop too, and was now waiting for them to walk forward—when he felt that pain. That very pain he didn’t want to feel; as both of his hands then began rubbing a spot right above his temples.
“Ugh…not now…” he hissed, more to himself as he clenched his teeth and tried to fight back the pressure building up; a telltale sign that he was about to see something not so good…! As his vision began wavering, he then shut his eyes in order to stop the wavering from overtaking his somewhat limited field of view—and there he saw it again:
A sticky string, snagging, ripping, sticking all over—and an individual who’d just walked right into it, only to realize that they needed to be bailed out of the literal, “sticky situation”. He could pick up on the shouting that was coming from the figure, but as he approached in order to help the person trapped—the entire field of vision went black.
Kouji then pulled himself out of that vision he’d seen and shook his head as hard as he could; in order to shake off the welling pressure building up around his temples; before looking down, a bit pale and not feeling his normal chipper self. Ugh, why now, and why in front of her, of all people?! He berated himself in the back of his mind as he continued to walk forward—and then suddenly, the vision that he’d seen earlier was suddenly taking place; right here, right now. The Magcargo had tried to call his attention as he walked forward in a half-daze, still trying to process what was going on—when he himself had gotten stuck in this huge web of sticky spider spit that apparently stretched the whole width of the area where they were headed!
“W-Wh-WHAT THE HELL?!” he shouted, trying to flail himself loose; but the more he struggled, the more he’d gotten stuck—it was then that he realized he’d seen a vision of the near-immediate future; and that individual who’d gotten stuck in the thread…was himself! The Gallade let out a roar and attempted to slash his master loose from the sticky threads, but ended up only wrapping him in it the more he squirmed. The Magcargo then let out a roar, before trying to burn it—but then realized that if she’d burned too much, she’d end up roasting him as well!
NOT THE COFAGRIGUS ANYTHING BUT IT THEY MUST DIE EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T EXIST
Angel was certainly lost in her own little world where sticky spider webs really didn't seem to exist though. Who had enough thought processes for spider webs when Pokemon that had tried to kill you before came back with a vengeance? Angel Dalton had emerged triumphantly in the cave before, thanks to an amazing tag team effort of Vullaby and Audino.. but Audino wasn't here and well..
She wasn't the same nerdy girl she used to be, but even she still knew that the 2nd time is when the villian one! She had gotten to win the first time! She didn't want them to win though! Just the thought sent shivers down her spine and she just couldn't help but see the flashing eyes every time she turned her head.. but just for a moment. "They'll put me inside.. they wanna get me Kouji. They want to get me... help!" she squealed, not exactly paying attention to the sticky situation that Kouji happened to be in. Although she did send out her Gothorita, the dazzling and wonderful Ribbon at this point. Ribbon burst free from her Poke Ball and entered the stage with the grace that a pampered and spoiled Pokemon would. She was still getting used to her larger size now, but there was certainly a beautiful vibe to her that she hadn't had before.
"Ribbon! Attack with Psyshock!" she squealed, the psychic energy was physical and hit a Pokemon in such a manner.. but since the Gothorita hadn't a clue it was attacking it could only fire in the direction that Angel pointed. Unfortunately the vision had been obscuring her a bit, and suddenly Kouji's wonderfully strong Gallade had something else heading right for him. Oh bother! Hopefully Ribbon didn't start thinking that Gallade was the enemy..
Nope that's exactly what was happening. Ribbon didn't even really remember Kouji. So.. as far as she knew, they were in a Pokemon Battle. Why then was her trainer being so fussy and upset though? She sounded so nervous and scared.. was this man scary and bad!?
3 spaces forward and one of you accidentally frightens a very strange, skittish Pumpkaboo that was crossing the path. It curses that person, who is now a ghost for 3 posts.

He was still stuck in the humongous spider web; and the more he struggled, the more he realized that he was getting stuck. He then whistled as loudly as he could in his Magcargo’s direction, which was still agonizing over how to free him without setting him on fire and burning him alive; when he came up with the idea. “Liekki, don’t singe me too much! Just… just spit out as much fire as you can around here,” he began to point—only thing was that when he lifted his arm, the sticky web refused to make it budge, so he had to resort to “pointing with his eyes” and was staring at a point over where his feet were now snarled up. The Magcargo could only look at the direction where he was pointing, before belching out a small ball of flames; which then landed on the web—and started to burn through the sticky threads. He could feel the heat radiating from the point of impact; but knew that if he flailed hard enough, it would eventually go out. His arms were still stuck, and try as he might to cut himself loose, apparently a puny human such as himself was no match for the power of nature.
Over at where the Gallade was now trying to stab and slash through the webs—without getting himself entangled as well—he then realized that there was an incoming attack from out of nowhere; and barely dodged as the Psyshock attack came screaming through the air, whizzing past his face and snagging itself along one of the webs. He could tell that his master’s companion was under due stress—and was apparently screeching about a Cofagrigus when there really wasn’t one around—and then signaled at the Gothorita to stop attacking, and to instead try to help him free Kouji from the huge-ass spider web. Hoping that his message got through—or not—he then boosted himself with Swords Dance, in order to give himself a chance to cut through the webs that were proving difficult to traverse. After attempting to hack and slash, he then gestured at the Magcargo, who immediately let another small ball of flame fly at the spot where he was pointing—and once the fireball had landed there, he began hacking away in earnest.
Kouji didn’t know what the hell was going on, but since he could hear the sounds of the hubbub and uproar from his current (stuck) position, he then attempted to calm Angel down as best as he could. “I don’t think there’re any of those weird Cofagrigus around, you might be just seeing things… uhhh, a little help here?” he tried to call out; before seeing a blur of green his way, and a few moments later he had finally been freed from the weird spider web; and therefore fell to the ground with a loud thud. “Ouch. Not the best of landings,” he groaned, before pulling himself up and trying to calm Angel down, who was now positively freaking out. Seeing that she was blubbering all over and was trying to fight an invisible enemy, the next best thing he could do—was crouch down and hugging the panicking, blubbering little girl. “Shhh… it’s okay. I got out of the sticky thing… come on… let’s go now…” he began softly.
The amount of Doki's are starting to get ridiculous.
Kouji didn't see it? She really thought she could see the horror from the cave, everywhich way she turned... so visibly, but she started to think that she must be dreaming. She turned her head and smiled at her friend. "S-Sticky?" she hadn't even noticed his own dilemma, caught so tightly in her own.
Eventually she stood up and dusted more dirt off her pretty costume, and gave him another smile. "I'll be okay, sorry. I guess I got a little scared.." she turned her head down, trying to ignore that she swore she still saw it's shadow. Kouji wouldn't be lying to her, right? "I guess this place is pretty good. I thought that places like these were like, bad or something." she had heard from some kids that these sort of places were cheesy and no one was really scared, but wow! This was totally spooky!
"Ribbon, do you want to go back in?" she said, to the still tense looking Pokemon. Despite her tension though, she shook her head. Of course not! Ribbon would prefer to always be at her friends side! She wished she never had to be in the Poke Ball. The Gothorita was adamant about staying.
Ribbon noticed something ahead, and jumped into action without even needing her trainer. The Pokemon was trusting of her trainer, and assumed that she had really seen something... and whatever it was this is what she saw. She sent another Psyshock attack at the direction... but there was no indication what happened to the attack. The attack vanished, along with any trace of whatever had caused the movement from the corner of the Pokemon's eye.
Except when she looked back at Angel, her trainer she noticed that.. she seemed to be disappearing before her very eyes! No! Ribbon needed Angel! The Pokemon was frozen in place, partly in fear and partly in confusion and just.. unsure of what to do. Likely that job would fall to Kouji, whose Angel's attention was mostly still focused on. She hadn't seemed to notice the change in.. herself, although she did feel lighter she had been feeling sort of funny in the costume the entire time so wasn't thinking very much of it. The outfit was still too short for such a cold day!

As they slowly but surely inched forward through the frightful attraction, it seemed that his hug (however sticky he was at the moment) had seemingly done the trick, and after some gently coaxing and urging forward, Kouji had finally managed to get them both moving. Now that there was a Gothorita alongside them, asides from his own Gallade and Magcargo, they continued walking—and he could feel…something supercharged in the air. What was that weird, creepy feeling? It was a few seconds later that he realized that the same thing that had happened to him before, was happening to Angel now! Instead of seeing a normal, flesh-and-blood little girl dressed up in a fairy princess costume—there was something a bit more… ethereal about her. Blinking once, then twice as he slowly took a few steps backwards, he then realized that the flash light had clattered to the floor—because a solid hand was no longer holding it; rather, it was a half-visible, semi-transparent little one who was with him right now!
“Holy…” he began, blinking once, then twice as his Gallade then came to a stop and looked over at what was going on—and then tensed up; because their only other human companion had suddenly become a ghost! The Magcargo, who had seemingly come across a fork in the road not too far ahead, came to a premature stop—because she couldn’t hear the sounds of walking anymore; and turned around, slithering towards the little spectacle. Kouji blinked several times, before digging his own fingernails into his palm and yelping. “Ouch!Okay, this is real. This is scary…how did you become a ghost…?” he began, quickly fumbling around in his pockets for a hand mirror, as he crouched down to pick up the flash light that had fallen from her grip and shaking it as hard as he could. The light was spluttering, before it suddenly flickered and came back to life. He then shone the feeble beam of light across her—and was surprised to see that the narrow beam had literally gone through Angel!
His other hand was still fumbling around for the hand mirror he always carried with him (since he was still so partial to his hair) as he continued to stare at his young companion. “Don’t… don’t panic, okay?” he began in an initially wavering voice, before it straightened out and became more focused and reassuring. “Stay there… don’t go away without me,” he continued, finally fishing out the mirror and flipping it open and showing it in her direction…
